Narx shook Richard's arm with a firm grasp. It was good to have another bruiser type on the team. At least that is what he looked like. He didn't know until combat came around.Narx turned to look at their small group. So the four members of DVNT would be up front, with Ivory, Joji, and Jess on rear. That was actually a pretty good setup. Especially with Jess. He didn't know her really well, but he could tell she was stronger than she looked. He smiled at his feathered friend when she spoke. He nodded at what she said. "Okay guys, you heard Danaë. Let's head out!" He grabbed his humongous hammer and slapped it over his shoulder. He casually walked to the man hole. Turned around to face the group. Gave them a curt nod and stepped back. He dropped down into the hole without using the ladder. Right before he would his the ground he grabbed a rung and with a small flip landed on his feet quietly. "Damn its dark in here..." He said to himself walking a few steps into the sewer. His eyes were slowly adjusting. It looked like there were two directions. The middle of the sewer had a tiny stream. He found this odd as this particular sewer had been decommissioned years ago, There must be leaks in the normal plumbing that led to this sewer. Narx pulled out his Scroll to check which direction they needed to go. To their right. That direction seemed to head at a slight downward angle.

Danaë would jump in the hole after Narx and Tessa. Her eyes quickly adjusting to the light change, allowing her to see everything. "Remember, if it's too dark, hold onto a Faunus, we have night vision." She would remark quietly. She knew that this would be hard for some people, however, she was ready for this mission to be over. She was going to save Lavender, for Donnelly.

  ☆════━━━━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━━━━═════☆ Ivory nod at the plan. He understood what was happening. He didn't know if Jessica would be able to see when she got down there. He looked, his eyes focusing well into the darkness. It was in black and whites, however he would be able to guide her if he needed to. He would jump into the hole, and he would land on his feet, like always. "It's dark, make sure to be careful. I'll guide you when you get down here."  Jessica dropped down the hole. Turning on a flashlight and attaching it to her weapon. "I'll cover our six. We don’t know what else is down here." She remained close to Ivory. "Stay on your toes Ivory, I got a bad feeling about down here." She took an knee and held it at the ready. "I don’t like it..."45

Richard Vin MalsuleThe Immovable Lancer X  Boy did this place smell. Richard would have a bit of disgust to his face when he was first hit by the aroma of the sewer. While it was something he wasn't used to, though there wasn't much of a choice. There wasn't much light either. It was nearly pitch black, well besides from the light coming from up above. It wasn't long before he felt the force of a person drop in from behind him. He turned to find out that Tessa came in after him. With the amount of noise she made, it might have already alerted any nearby enemies. "It would be good to be more subtle." He would respond to the big girl seeing as she was literally touching the ceiling with her horn. Once everyone else was down, he got his weapons ready. Narx had pulled out his scroll using it as a light, which did help illuminate the place a bit more. Richard would shift his head at both directions keeping an eye out for anything suspicious. "Going downward I am guessing?" He questioned seeing how one of the paths looked like it started heading downward. His eyes narrowed trying to see through the darkness but to little to no avail. {Posts: 7}

Narx saw that most of the people had made it down into the sewers so he started to walk down a bit farther, but not too far. They needed everyone down before they could really go deep. "Danaë is right. We all ought to make sure to stay with a faunus for vision. These scrolls provide almost no light." He backed up to the group and awaited the others. "Where is Joji?" He said absent mindedly as he leaned against the rusty wall. "Who wants to walk in the vanguard? I'll do it if someone else stays with me...the dark gives me the heebie jeebies..." He wasn't necessarily afraid of the dark, just what might be in it.

"The Disgraced Team Leader." Joji watched 1 by 1 as his current party entered into the deep darkness. He followed after last in the line, just as narx called his name. Recovering from the drop, he called out for his presence. "Here." It smelled terribly, Joji began feeling thankful that he couldn't see what he was stepping in, but it did give him chills. After a few seconds, he shrugged it off, truly he had been through worse and this had not chance of completely forcing his attention from the task at hand.--

Again, awkward but she at least moved without bumping her head against the ceiling constantly. She walked...crawled alongside Narx for several minutes in silence before holding her arm out and catching him in the chest. "Does...anyone else hear that?" She tilted her head with her ear upward "It's faint but...I swear I hear something" ◢ "I'll show you what a real Faunus can do..."...

Danaë would grab Narx's hand. She understood that he couldn't see in the dark, but out of all the faunus here, she knew that her owl eyes would show her the way. With Jessica's light, her eyes would glow a bright orange. Her eyes on their own weren't able to glow, but they were really just reflecting the light that she had with her.
She watched as Tessa went forward. She realized that one of the faunus would have to team up with an other one. Then Tessa would stop, saying that she had heard something. She would turn towards Jessica, and signal for her to turn off the light. If something was heard, then she didn't want them to stick out like a sore thumb.

He would look forward, his eyes adjusting to the light quite easily. He didn't really say anything, but he stuck by Jessica. Jessica kept her weapon at the ready. The path behind them illuminated by her flashlight. Nothing was going to sneak up behind them, not on her watch. Upon the mentioning of a noise she killed the light and listened. "I hear it, but it’s extremely faint Tessa." She whispered, at a disadvantage since she wasn’t a Faunus. She couldn’t hear much, it was faint, very faint. 46

He was startled when he felt Danaë's cool hand grab his. He hadn't expected it, but was glad. Faunus were known to have the best vision and she was an owl. A nocturnal predator type. That would come in handy. He smiled at her and gripped her hand back so that they wouldn't get detached if something happened. "Danaë Do you see anything that could possibly be making that sound Tessa and Jess hear?" Hecouldn't hear anything himself. He followed closely behind Tessa as they walked deeper into the sewers. "Oi! Joji, you hear anything in the back?" He said just loud enough for him to hear. The sounds of water seemed to increase. Almost as if they were approaching a small waterfall from a medium sized stream. "Damn this place... the smell..." He held up his free arm to cover his nose.

"The Disgraced Team Leader." Joji continued forth trying his best not to let the terrible smell conquer his nostrils. Surely this didn't distract his other senses from ensuring his well being wasn't in jeopardy meaning his hearing was still on point in this situation and that allowed him to hear the sounds everyone talked about. "Yeah, it's actually getting closer. Can't say for sure what it is, but I have a few ideas on what it could possibly be. Joji's attention consisted of trying not to vomit from the terrible smell of the sewers, look out for any possible attacks from the rear, and listen for any verbal ques from his current team. So far things were going.....tolerable...but once this was all said and done, he planned to take a 24 hour long shower to wash the sewage smell off of him.--

Richard Vin MalsuleThe Immovable Lancer X Richard did what he could to follow with the group. He managed to stay close as they waded through the darkness. The narrow pathway made him position himself behind Narx and Danaë acting as the rear guard of the group. While it was rather quickly he managed to adapt to the whole situation. The lack of sight, horrid stench, the echoing of running sewage, it would all be a test. When the group stopped, he came to a stop immediately with his weapons at the ready. It was reactionary but that was how he was. Their was a sound of rushing water that bounced off the walls making it difficult to hear what sound they were talking about. All he heard was the sewage system, perhaps it was due to him just being human. Though he closed his eyes trying to pinpoint what the others mentioned. It was faint but there was something, and it did appear to become louder. "Is there anything down here besides us and the tribe?" He would ask in speculation. Cause the sound itself didn't appear to be anything he would recognize. {Posts: 8}
