User ImageName: T'sar
Age: 31
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual
Weyr: Western
Rider Rank: Wingrider (Fire Storm)
Previous Rank/Craft: Musician
Voice: [ X ] - Searching for a voice
Song: Winter - Paul Halley
Physical Description: T'sar is not nearly as bulky as a dragon rider of his age normally is. He's fairly slim and stands at 6'2, and people often wonder how he's not blown off of his dragon's back. He has the appearance of one who would be better suited to holding an instrument than hanging on to a saddle, yet here he stands. He is fairly pale and his golden, curly hair hangs freely to his shoulders. He is constantly pushing it out of his fair green eyes, although he never ever ties it back. All of his features are quite angular and although he does have some muscle from riding for the past ten years of his life, he doesn't show it much through his clothes. He is always very finely dressed unless riding, in which is wears soft leather and warm cotton layers. It is said he uses a bit of kohl on his eyes, but he would deny that if asked.

Personality: T'sar, on the surface, is the kind of guy that lots of people are drawn to superficially. He is very good at making people like him at a distance - he is charming, polite, talented, easy on the eyes, and never in short supply of compliments and praise to others. His elegant features and musical background give him an almost ethereal air and he seems to draw the eyes of everyone when he walks into a room. Although he puts on a good show, both literally and figuratively, T'sar's social graces are mostly a farce, part of how he was trained when he was younger. As a performer it wouldn't do to be gruff or unlikable. Part of earning money was the person as well as their talents, after all. Under the charismatic exterior T'sar is incredibly vain, taking pride in his appearance and making sure that there isn't a hair out of place or a speck of dirt on his clothes. He enjoys the finer things in life, be it fashion, food, bed partners, art, or any other material thing he can posses. He generally stays away from things he considers beneath him and always managed to shirk off the less savory duties during his brief training period when Adarith was a baby on Candidates who were eager to do his bidding. He isn't cruel in his attempts to keep himself prim and proper, but he certainly doesn't care much for those that are 'beneath' him.

That being said, there is a side to T'sar that learns from his mistakes and failures. He has learned in the past year that he needs to be a better dragon rider if he wants to survive another Thread fall, and in doing so has come to take his responsibilities more seriously. The same could be said for the people he's come into contact with. At first he looked at many of the other riders as uncouth and filthy, not worthy of his time, but in getting to know them as people rather than looking at them superficially he has slowly started to realize that not everything has to look pretty to be worth something.

Above all, T'sar thrives off attention. He was raised with the mindset that if people didn't like him, he wouldn't survive. Although things in his life have changed, he still has that mentality that everyone must either like him or at least acknowledge his presence. T'sar's worst fear is to be disliked or thought poorly of by others, and although he doesn't have many friends, he doesn't enjoy being alone.

Positive: Charismatic, Graceful, Learns from the past/his mistakes.
Negative: Snobby, Vain, Fearful of rejection.

History: Born Tiessar to a family of musicians in Western Hold, T'sar was raised with the expectations to join the family and become a musical genius. He was trained in many instruments but his favorite and his best was certainly the violin. He also had a very sweet, high voice for singing and would often take that role rather than playing while his family practiced together. As he grew up his voice deepened, but it retained the angelic tone that he had in his youth. He trained hard with his family and they were quite well-known through the Weyr for playing at festivals, parties, and other such venues.

It was a few months into his twentieth Turn that he and his family attended a Hatching. It was generally a fun time at the Weyr with a party to follow and many would go to watch the main event to see which Candidates were chosen, so it wasn't anything out of the ordinary for T'sar and his siblings. What was out of the ordinary was that one of the dragons seemed to be in distress after it hatched, circling those that were on the Sands and crying out in its tiny voice. It even went so far as to throw itself against the wall directly under where T'sar was seated, and it wasn't until two strong hands grabbed him by the shoulders and marched him to the Sands that he realized what was going on. The rather fat brown dragon had Impressed him. He was now a dragon rider.

T'sar was at a loss for what to do, but he took it in stride. He couldn't deny the dragon his bond as he felt it as well, but he was certainly out of his element. It took a long time for T'sar and Adarith to become a functioning team, and even then they were a bit off-kilter at best. Adarith grew into a rather large, imposing dragon, but T'sar couldn't have been happier with him after he learned how to be a proper rider. Adarith was beautiful in T'sar's eyes, elegant and fierce. He was also insanely protective over the young man which suited T'sar just fine. They did what they were required to do but more often than not T'sar would let Adarith entertain himself while he continued to practice his music.

When Thread fell T'sar wasn't ready. Adarith was, but his poor rider was sure they were going to die. Adarith did well considering T'sar was a trembling mess through the whole ordeal, and after it ended the slim rider realized he needed to put more effort into perfecting this craft now that Thread was a real danger again. He still practices and plays and sings, but he does dedicate more time now to honing his skills as a rider.
Other: T'sar took the honorific because it's proper, and he is a very proper fellow. He won't be offended if others use his birth name, though, especially his family. It's more for the look of things than anything. Ages up OOCly on December 8th.

Name: Adarith
Age: 11
Color: Brown
Size: 78'
Voice: X - Searching for a voice
Song: Challenge - Cellar Darling
Physical Description: Adarith is powerfully built. He is stocky and has a low center of gravity that is only emphasized by his long wings. The darkness of his hue of his hide made him seem even more broad than he is as he makes sure to fill up as much space as he can, whether it means keeping his tail straight out behind him rather than curled at his feet or position his wings to keep them slightly unfurled. There is nothing small or subtle about this dragon and he likes it that way.
Personality: Adarith isn't the nicest dragon out there. He is very demanding and has a very short temper, which is a combination for a volatile creature. Brimming with energy, Adarith requires mental and physical exertion to keep out of trouble. He has scars from scrapes with other dragons and he wears them with pride. He uses his demeanor and his size to his advantage and when he is the smaller dragon in a situation, he doesn't let it get to his head. Despite his rough personality he is a fierce fighter and defender of his home, and to those that can withstand his brutish ways, they can find an honorable and loyal friend and soldier beneath the dark hide.
Experience:
Target Accuracy: 6
Flame Length: 7
General Stamina: 14
