Tri jerked in alarm as rope suddenly materialize around him and pulled him into the air //....what// he mentally thought before he let the thought go. His annoyance and surprised faded to a calm look, wasting no time he nudged his bottom wings out to counter balance her pull as he grabbed on to her about the same moment she attempted to drop him, blathering about something or other, he stopped listening the moment she said he had two other kids. His eyes were steely and cold as he waiting for the down beat to let go with one hand and attempt to grasp one of her wing then pull his whole weight on it. He then tried to slam his feet toward her side, a foot that had shadowed into a cougar claw with an attempt to evisciate her. He would kill her, he had no hesitation at all.

Valentein was starting to get annoyed as the arch pulled her wing, throwing her off balance. "You little-..." the claws dug through skin, tearing through the clothes at her side but she wasn't wounded and no blood was present. "Maybe you're idiot son didn't stress the fact I am a goddess... You can't win against me." she hissed, trying to push him away to get him to fall into the water below.Kaizer was watching from the water as they struggled in the air, pulling another arrow into the bow, she narrowed her eyes. "Lova poldora!!" she exclaimed as the arrow glowed and she sent it flying at Valentein.The arrow whizzed by and scraped the side of her face, almost hitting her. This time, there was blood as she hissed and directed a very angry glare at Kaizer. "I will not be bestest by the former Obsidian King." she growled, grabbed onto Tri tightly and dove for the water right at Kaizer, very well attempting to pull him down into the water with her and hit the annoying elf in the process.

Tri didn't respond, focus only on the battle as he switched tactics and started trying to shadow even as Val grabbed on and tried to take him into the water.

Kaizer drew another arrow, focused at calm, shooting her arrow, this time at Tri as it graze him enough to cut through the ropes but didn't injure or even cut him.Valentein narrowed her eyes and let go of Tri to slam into Kaizer, pulling her under the water. It was obvious that Val had every intent to drown her under there, hands wrapped around Kaizer's throat as she pushed her down deep into the water.

Tri barely felt the rope fall away as he moved into his elemental shadow form, flying for a second above the water he hesitated but then moved back in, attmepting to reach them and at least smother Val's face.

Kaizer was struggling with Valentein beneath the water, holding her breath as long as she could, while Val didn't seem to need to breath at all.
"You are messing with forces beyond your control, Kaizer... This isn't like killing the Opal King..."
Kaizer narrowed her eyes, a certain look in her eyes that showed not only pain but anger. Her expression was almost as cold as Tri's was.
"I wonder if you made the same face when you had to kill Ayden..." Val commented with a smirk and laughed.
In that moment, something snapped in Kaizer, pushing her hands to grab onto Valentein's throat as Tri appeared to be trying to smother Val. She was pissed. Something she said had pushed her over the edge as her red eyes began to glow and so did her hands.
There was a very brief flicker of panic in Val's eyes as where Kaizer touched her, it appeared to burn her. Narrowing her eyes and growling, she shoved away from Kai and Tri, surfacing and floating up into the air, flapping wings to dry them before backwinging more to gain distance.
Kaizer surfaced, coughing and glaring up at Val.
"Fine! Have it your way. But you cannot save them both, Trisuri. Remember the game you play is a deadly one." she rubbed her hand over the deep burn marks on her throat then smirked. "And Kaizer, maybe you best remember your place. You and I will have a very long chat later about this..." she hissed then disappeared.

Tri broke off when Val started to retreat, following had no meaning when he could not injure her but Kai seem like she could.
Silently he swirled around Kaizer, if he had a more humanoid form at the moment he would be glaringin anger. Game he played? What game, none of this was a game. It was also starting to feel less and less like a dream. The battle had no real meaning so why...
Reforming into a shadow version of his normal self he motioned further into the beach and stayed by Kai in shadow form, looking for danger, until he solid solidify safely.

Kaizer only waited a moment to make sure Val was really gone before she began to swim back to the shore. She was breathing heavily and looked tired but it wasn't something she could handle. As soon as she was back on land, she coughed a little more before looking at Tri. "Are you okay? She didn't hurt you, did she?" she asked, looking him over to be sure.

Silver light that were where his eyes would be moved to her as he nodded in e in his shadow form before fully solidifying, wings were bristled in anger as he kept a look out fotpr Val. "No" he said simply and looked her over. "You? ....." he paused for a moment. "You were able to hurt her..." he looked askance. "She was the one who sent you here, so why did you help me?"

Kaizer sighed heavily with a bit of relief but mostly to release the tension. "I... I'll be fine." she answered then looked down at her hands and frowned, "Yeah... I'm just as surprised." she responded. "My magic, only affected demon spirits.. Other than that, my magic does nothing.... I'm quite better with building things than using magic." she explained and frowned. "Makes me a bit of an outcast... but ... th-that's getting off-topic." Looking back up at him, she took another breath. "Well, she gave me advice on where to find Gaia... that doesn't mean I can't shoot her out of the sky for bullying someone who didn't deserve it. I mean, yeah, you were kinda rude, but her reaction was well past malicious." she reasoned then looked toward the path they were walking. "Barring any other interruptions, Gaia should be over that hill there..." she pointed to the mountain range nearby.

"Your power is race specific? " he looked faintly surprised. "The demons must hate you....and well any other race that is targeted " he frowned faintly then shook his head. "I don't know why it would have affected her" he said truthfully as he looked to where Val was. At the mention of his rudeness he nodded slightly "I assumed this was a dream. I sat in a circle was given something to drink and woke up here. I can make up an excuse for pretty much everything except you. None of the names you mention or places you spoke up are familiar in any form " he looked at her with a hint of suspicion. "Even though..." he looked in the direction he assumed Val was trying to bar them from then back. "How do you know that?" Remembering she said that she doesn't a long time just searching and now..?

"What? No... Like... spirits.. that are evil. They make contracts to give you magic. Mine is still bound to my soul... so my magic is still fairly active, though it's only against other dark spirits." she clarified. "So if my magic affects her, it means she's one of them..." she added then sighed. Kaizer listened to Tri, understanding his thought process. "This.. isn't a dream, Trisuri. This is limbo... between life and death." she frowned, "Do you want me to say something that might be familiar... something that I think bridges the gap between you and I?"
She looked off to the mountain, "Well, because she said so... and even she said I was meant to find her... she just seemed to have a problem with you going. I've already searched back the other way... So she must be over that hill."

Tri stared a her as if she grew another head,....he might actually accept another head, but what she was talking about made no sense. "The only spirits are ghosts" he grimaced slightly. "Everyone has magic " he said causing a flicker of electricity to dance along his hand before grounded no it. "Everyone except non-magi humans, demons don't give magic if anything they are as angry as angels and the other races over the humans and metas " his frown went deeper asshe continued .
"Limbo the point between deep sleep and not. Not......" he waved his hand around to indicate where they are. As she offered to tell him something he shrugged slightly and motioned for her to go on.
"I see.I can carry you there so we don't have to speed tha much time trudging through the woods "

Kaizer stared at him with an increasing sense of worry. That was not at all how things were when she was alive. "In my time, spirits are called demons... There is nothing else by that name. Non one is gifted with magic...not only is it earned through contracts with devil's but it is strictly forbidden... It is why I am not the Obsiduan King anymore.... I was exiled for having magic.not that I wanted it anyway. The price of my magic was far too steep." She sighed. "It seems things were a lot different three thousand years ago." she sighed even heavily. "No the point between life and death. Either you are dead or dying... If I had to guess. I'm not an expert."
She hesitated, "I'm not sure how you feel about this Kael'thena person you confused me for earlier... But o think she and I are related. My name is Kaizer Ravenspyre.... the likeness may not be coincidental after all."
"Ahh, that would be preferred. Make faster time in our search that way... If you don't mind it."

He shook his head at the tale then even more at how she was exiled, wasn't that an irony for a king? Then there was Kae, how did she fit into any of this? Did it even matter? This was supposed to be abstract and not make much sense if I told was a dream it was definetly doing that.
"It is as if you're from another world. None of the happens later and demons are ..." he motioned in the direction Valentine was." Like her without the goat part. " he explained seriously fixating on -another world-. Isn't that where the flying goat kid came from? This was irritating, it felt real but then could still easily be him adding what he read from Ree and how on worry for his mental health. Then again he was far off from the time he was thinking of all of this.
Lowering his and he sighed, between life and death? He heard different version of seeing the other side or just hallucinations if a dying brain,, who knows.
"As for Kae" he motioned her to come closer, wondering if she understood what he offered. If she had no idea his own species nor what a demon was he really doubted she would prepared at all for flying across the sky. "I do not know much about her past. She is a genius but usually plays at bring a drunk mad scientist. She is friends with my mother and the creator of my species, along with her sister and supposedly Gaia. " he explained with a faint disapproving look. "Hence why I asked her when one of the options involved Gaia. " looking at her critically he nodded slightly. "You look like her and share the same last name other then that ..." he shook his head and waited for her to come closer.
