Poe picked up an apple cinnamon smoothie and was happily surprised to see a buy one, get one free coupon included. This would be perfect for buying a treat for a friend. He just had to think of which one to get a smoothie for..."Thank you!" he told Nucleo, and sat with his drink. The owner of the smoothie booth was very nice.

Tsarzi stared at the server, refusing to take the drink she was being served.
It was far too sparkly and what the hell was this attendant talking about? Glitter was a shelf product made from little bits of cut up bright laminated plastic for the wriggler who was easily distracted. It was not intended for ingestion, even if it might be "safe." By those rules, a lot of stuff is edible. Enough was enough.
"I am not paying for that," Tsarzi said, ending up with a very long, very unnecessary discussion with booth staff.

Bad service or not, Tsarzi would not pass up a useful opportunity like this. Then again, the wet wood was pretty ridiculous.
A little irritated at the lack of beverage, which Tsarzi had admittedly become used to during her Bloodfest ventures, she sat down with a small bundle of wood. This set was not damp, but the sticks were easy to break and excessive force crumbled a few of them. After a while of work, she got a steady billow of smoke and the sparks of a fire going, but the fire did not survive past its first few second of life.

Each retort hit him a little harder, until Xavier was sure the blueblood twins were absolutely...Correct. Foul. Inept! Incompetent! Very bad at your job. Maladroit. Everything they said was spot on, as if he were an open book. Staring blankly he did not allow himself to cry, but the burning embarrassment of shame made him feel like dirt under the three higher castes boots without question. Taking a small step back, the jadeblood clicked his teeth together as he snapped his jaw closed.
He had to at least try and save face for the Nightly Grinds sake.
"I do apologize again for everything..I assure you the business is not a reflection on my..." He paused looking for a good way to rehash everything he'd been so blatantly told. "Terrible performance, and lacking to conduct myself to my fullest. I'll do my utmost to ensure it never happens again." His nervous expression was evidence he felt defeated. Bowing several times respectfully Xavier quickly turned, excusing himself from the gathering to clean up his mess from making smoothies. Truthfully he had no place to be anywhere near their booth at that moment he was fairly certain.
Connie had come by a few booths in her exploring to see what was around the grounds. While that meant staying close to her twin, she did make a small side trip while she had him hold their place in line for a snack at a food vendor. The little girls eyes widened as she caught sight of the colorful jar of candy. Pausing, she looked at the jar leaning in to squint at it as she prodded a single digit at the jar. After asking how the game work, the child quickly decided he had estimated what she believed was the contents.
"Ummm...41!" She blurted with a cheery smile. Upon not guessing right, the redblood frowned as her brows furrowed. Connie poked her bottom lip out some in a pouting fashion. Peering over at all the commotion going on, Connie waited to snag two red gumballs before scampering off with a mind to come back again tomorrow and try again as she had admired the pretty mason jars that were set out..and it looked like there was all sorts of neat camping stuff going on and smoothies...but given the drama unfolding she wasn't entirely sure if she'd drag her twin over this way.

Reisio took back the money, looked to Flatparent and then nodded at Nucleo. “Kiwi-banana, please. No mustard…” They mumbled, quiet.
The blueblood couldn’t help but wonder how this troll was still in business, given his destructive staff. Taking his money almost felt like they were putting him deeper in whatever pitiful debt he was in. What a disaster! But, there was nothing Reisio could do about it. They were the customer, and, something something, always right. Especially when they had been so wronged.

After several terrible reviews, one of the smoothie staff members left the booth in tears tonight! Will tomorrow's smoothies fair better? Or worse? Will the Nightly Blend survive with a man down? What will happen next in this thrilling melodrama?
FINE. The fire again. She would succeed at SOMETHING tonight. Keionx set up the logs and managed to set the kindling on fire. She blew on it on occasion, just to make sure it caught, smiling as it did so. It rose and grow from spark to flame, and she felt just like a proud lusus.
Until it began to change color. At first, she yelped like a wiggler, startled at the sudden change, but then she began to laugh. "Marvellous! It beith marvellous!"
"I'll have my special." Keionx said at the booth, before realizing that it wasn't Nucleo, but the tealblood. "That tis goat milk, strawberries, hot pepper powder and... whatever thou wishest. Normally Nucleo makes it, so he knowseth the ingredients best." she explained.
The tealblood - such a nice young troll - nodded. Keionx munched on strawberries as the machine was cleaned. "Oh - I am returning these. If thou couldst use one instead of the normal disposable cup..." she said, handing over the jars she had been given the night before, "Twould be most grateful." It was just so convenient and portable! Why hadn't she thought of jars before? Her drink prepared, she bowed to Elidae.
"Thank thee." she said, tucking the jar in her bag where she could get at it later, "Tis much appreciated. Thou shalt always have mine business."

"Uhh, wait--..." Deimos started to pipe up when he realized that the uh... were they quadruplets..? Whatever they were, they were all making his drink and he wasn't sure he could handle having four smoothies again. Alas, he was not heard and ended up receiving four smoothies. Well... guess he'd better work on them while making a fire...
He gathered all four cups into his arms and waddled over to the fire area, hoping none of them lost a lid or something along the way.

While he was attempting to sit down with arms full of smoothies, Deimos noted that the squirrel had returned to his stick supply! The fluffy creature popped out and arranged them perfectly before disappearing again. This was getting to be too much. Just to be sure, once he'd set the smoothies down he reached out and patted at the stick pile a few times to make sure it was real.
Calida bounced to the counter happily. Her own booth was not very busy so she figured she could stop in for a smoothie real fast. "Excuse me, could I get a vanilla fruit smoothie?" the young greeblood asked with a smile. It took a minute for service to respond, but in the meantime he hummed such a pretty tune that she didn't mind waiting a little bit.
She played with the brim of her hat idly until she got her smoothie. "Thank you! for the music and the smoothie," she said with a very wide smile. "And I really love your clothes too! it's such a pretty green," the young greenblood took her drink and left to sit at one of the tables.
14. Xavier has your drink whipped up and ready in like two seconds. Wow, that was super fast! Static was amazed. The drink was in his hands almost before he had finished saying his order! The blueblood drank it happily, then ran for some water. It was HOT!!
