Malice turned her head slightly as if in disbelief, keeping a mistrustful eye. Her expression slowly dissolved from suspicious to ire. In immediate response to "bloodsport", Malice's lip turned up to a snarl, baring her sharp teeth and flaring nostrils. The girl had the soft, innocent appearance of a mouse, but her carefully constructed words of criticism were like the venom of a viper. Malice didn't like it.
"Random, frantic shooting for some, but I've witnessed a variety of exceptional skills all Bloodfest that would benefit our military greatly." Malice stated defensively, edging closer to the counter of her booth. She removed her sunglasses from her face and shoved them above her head to get a clearer view- and to show her vexation accordingly. She had lost the girl's eye contact, but that didn't mean her spongeclots were defective- obviously. "I'm not convinced you understand the significance of a strong defense and offense. Having that secured does not parallel a lack of understanding in terms of terraform. Its much more complicated than that." Malice placed her hands on the counter now, leaning in and looming close into Panili's visuals.
"Enlighten me, lowblood. What is it that you attempting to accomplish here?"

Deimos returned to the lazer tag-- Alien Annihilation Simulation game to play once more. He stuck with the green team, it was closer to his own color than pink was. Plus it was easier on the eyes. Once inside the arena, he started off down a familiar passage- though soon enough ended up regretting it. A strobe light flashed in his eyes again, but somehow in his kneejerk reaction to start shooting he managed to hit an enemy player? How convenient.

Apparently the passageway he'd decided to go down next was filled with enemy players. Realizing his terrible mistake, Dei wheeled around to run off somewhere else. Somehow he managed to not notice the wall at the end of the hallway and ran right into it. Later he woke up realizing he'd lost... almost all of his points. Wow. He'd get them back... somehow...

After picking himself up Deimos set off again- only to be stopped when another stupid strobe light went off in his face. Despite knowing better he fired wildly as he attempted to shield his eyes and somehow managed to shoot something. What luck. Too bad his time was up... He sighed, this round wasn't nearly as fun as the last two.

As Garand worked his way carefully through the maze of the battleground, he found his attention sliding back to the laser gun in his hands. He glanced up and around one more time, making sure no one was around to see or shoot at him, and then began to pick at the device, curious to see how it worked. Almost immediately, a disapproving voice cracked over the intercom. The blueblood startled, looking up, and then finally, belatedly, remembered the screen Malice had pointed to. She was watching. Right.
"Sorry." He shifted his grip back to wielding the laser gun, lifting his free hand in apology to whatever camera was above. His mistake came with a silver lining, though, because looking up had given him a point of view he might not have found otherwise. Had that ladder always been there? Mouth twisting back up into a satisfied smile, the blueblood quickly made his way over and began to climb. He paused at the top to survey the scene below and nearly laughed. It was perfect.
He eased down on his stomach, put his laser gun to his shoulder and imagined the kind of rifle he meant to build one day there instead. Down below, the enemy team ambled around unaware, grouped together in fives. "Hey," he murmured, lining up his sights. "What was that phrase again, Pan?" The lusus nudged approvingly against his cheek, squeaking out a reply before moving around to watch the ladder. Garand smirked.
"Yeah...Fish in a barrel."

It was humiliating, but his muscles were aching and his spongeclots were ringing, perhaps doing the ninja squirrel and fireworks first really hindered him that evening.

The scoreboard was faulty, but she could swear that someone had taken over UMBER's high score, and That Just Would Not Do. Thus, it was time to get in there, take some names, and kick some butt. No ulterior motives, no aberrant thoughts, just pure martial activity. She found another milkbar on the ground and gnawed at it, already feeling like she was - or was going to be - on fire this game.

This was where she shone, but it also put her at a disadvantage - the nefarious pinksies would get to her, and they could easily outnumber and outmaneuver her if she let them. So she wouldn't - alert to any flash of remotely reddish light, she stalked through the maze... then ran for cover as she heard the sounds of lasers. She ducked behind a wall, and found herself facing off against a gaggle of pinkies, all coming at her, all knowing where she was. It was a bad situation... made better by the target she saw just above.

She had a stupid idea that was just crazy enough to work. She took a few shots into the pink team for good measure, and then let the target have it - every ounce of photon-based fury, every bit of frustration, every bit of wrath. Eventually she got hit, using the darkness as an opportunity to slip away from the pinksies and into another part of the room. She'd gotten hit, but it was worth the loss. She'd gotten the target, after all.

Their canine collar seemed to indicate that they were some sort of howlbeast-raised troll, but Kei didn't particularly care. What mattered was getting their game on. They did that. "Got a target." Keionx said gruffly, looking over and taking aim at the thing... (Target Aquired!)
