Natash reached for a purple lollipop, her shiny pink arms shaking slightly. She didn't want to eat another gross one, or worse, have to get into a tank of disgusting things. They were slimy and icky on her skin, and very bad for the health of her gills. But when she placed it in her mouth, there was only the sweet taste of a regular lollipop. She breathed a sigh of relief and crunched the lollipop into tiny pieces in her mouth.

"He's got a bunch of 'em, so you could probably be buried in them or something at this point." Guo said casually. Of course Akkira liked the gerbil. He knew she would. He was good at knowing stuff about people. Even someone as weird as Akkira became easy to read after a while.

"Bro, please tell me you brought Peepaws. The best gerb to ever live. Also, don't forget we're doing the obstacle course! It's been impossible to track you down, for a while I thought you got cold feet or something." He leaned forward and smirked. "No gerbils, though. That'll just weigh us down. We gotta win this time."

Hazmas had been curious about the booth at best, but when it came to a challenge of his courage, the greenblood was determined to prove his mettle. So, giving an affirmative snort at the blue-blooded booth runner, Haz looked at the lolly pops and picked out a blue one. It reminded him of Chiara, so why not?

The moment Hazmas popped the candy into his mouth, he realized that he'd definitely made a mistake. He gagged and coughed, dropping the disgusting sucker before trying to wipe his tongue on his jacket sleeve. It didn't help that Machim was hooting with laughter, earning a scowl from her charge. Swamp water. Of all the vile tastes to have entered his mouth!

He'd just managed to force back some bile as the red-blooded booth runner stepped forward, handing him a pair of goggles as she pointed him to the vats.

'Oh no.. more swamp water..'

He let out a disgruntled groan and tried to ignore his cackling lusus as he strapped the goggles to his head. He wasn't a bad swimmer really, especially not after the incident at the gala. But that was ocean water and this was murky swam sludge. Hopefully he'd do better at this than the stupid flavor-pick chance game.

Akkira checks that loli to make sure it was good. Though it was absolutely funny that the kid went into the swamp water tank. "Hey kid, you're not supposed to get in the tank unless yours is bad, yours is perfectly fine, unless you don't like blueberry,"

Emerging from the tank, Hazmas raised his hand triumphantly. 17 yellow ribbons! 17! Triple plus two than what he needed to pass!

'Ha! Take that!' he thought to himself, beaming under the swamp water scum. As he hoisted himself onto the edge of the tank, he stopped when he heard what the redblood had to say and gaped at her.

"Blueberry?! Is your squawk gaper working? That was the nastiest thing I've ever tasted!" he groused, climbing out of the tank. "It was like rotten fruit mixed with the scum off this water!"

He wasn't upset about the lollipop really. What really got his horned hoof beast was that his victory - his 17 flag victory, had been hollow. Granted, having a good pop meant he had the full 20 points, but all that effort to show his mettle, WASTED! Ohhh, he was going to need more than a lolly to sooth this sting to his pride.

Cynril never learned. He never truly did. So when he took the same colored lollipop he got the soapy taste right back in his mouth. He screeched, feeling his tongue burn and threw the abomination to the ground. Of course he now had to go back into the tank and get scarves.

His life sucked badly.

With a resigned sigh, Cynril was carried to the tank and in he went. Hey maybe this time it wouldn't be as band. Actually, no, it was. He thought it was even worst than the first time. God, the child was going to be so traumatized when he got back home and he would never, ever, EVER go shower in his life. No matter how much Vremea, Byakko or the entire swamp trolls insisted, Cynril Minati was never showering again.

He promised himself that.

With sloppy steps Cynril approached Akkira and handed her fifteen scarves. The child opened his mouth to speak but instead he let a tiny burp out. Maybe he drank some of the water.

Soap again? Aww jeez, this kid was probably having a terrible time. She couldn't help but giggle at his misfortune, but he only really needed one bath and any more than that was probably torture. She held a blue and red towel in her hand, one of many as she stood aside.

"Hey nice job," Akkira said as she unfolded the towel and plopped it on his head. "Not only did you face your worst fear, but you did it twice! I think that is something to be said about your courage, I tell you what, there is a box around here somewhere," she began rubbing the soft towel against his hair to dry it off.

"In that box is some chocolate covered bugs, how about you go grab a couple bags of the stuff for being so brave, and you can keep the towel," she gave the mutant a bit of a sideways smile. "I promise tomorrow, no more baths at my booth, alright?"

Static giggled as he watched Cynril's look of disgust. So far the blueblood had never gotten a bad lollipop. "Is that your first yucky on Cynril?" The blueblood asked, trying to hide his giggles. Static moved to grab a candy for himself and popped it into his mouth. The blueblood had to fight hard to keep from retching, getting his first gross lollipop now of all times! Figures.

Static was loving the maze. It was everything he wanted in a maze. There were things that popped out to scare him, obstacles to make it a challenge, and he was even good at it. Static grinned as he exited the maze in good time
