His attack had failed yet again, and what's worse is that he got backhanded really hard in response.
"I'm getting sick and tired of all these ninja-fighting zombies in my lobby to exit pathway! MOVE!" he yelled, unleashing two torrents of blood on the crowd.

As Juugo extracted the senbon, the lifeless front-runners tackled him and one managed to get a dagger in his side. They clearly weren't happy that he killed one of their own. knowing that he was in an unfavorable situation, Juugou used his size to squeeze out from beneath the lifeless and climbed on top of the table to get the higher ground. At least up here he would be able to fend off the undead attackers

For a moment it would stop before the floor split open with a wide yawn. Several of the lifeless will fall into the pit and in response spurts of hot steam will spurt out for a moment before dissipating as well.

Michio failed, and failed, and failed again to get rid of these walking corpses, but when the floor gave way and several of them fell to their re-deaths, Michio couldn't help but smile. "Alright! EVERYONE INTO THE PIT!" he screamed, aiming a torrent of blood at the lifeless that stood outside of the edge and trying to shove them into the void below.

Blood thrust into the lifeless and caused them to slam into each other. This created a domino effect that ended with three of the lifeless tumbling into the pit and disintegrating into steam. Michio closed his fist and made the 'yes!' sign while humming "Nn!", then ran through the clearing and towards the exit.

The floor of the trial room split open and released a torrent of steam. The schism caused Juugou to lose balance and fall flat on the table where the Lifeless could reach him easily. One managed to stab him in the arm with a sword. The boy cried out in pain, but managed to disarm the creature by kicking it away. After getting back on his feet Juugou swung the sword and cleaved the head of a lifeless that was trying to climb up on the table top from the side, killing it. Some were swallowed up by the hole, but things were looking bleak. He heard someone fighting some distance away but it would be suicide trying to get to the lifeless.

It seemed that whatever was attacking the structure was not yet done and as the attacks continued the foundation of the building was becoming increasingly in jeopardy. Another crack would form in the floor of the trial room. This would cause several more of the Lifeless to loose balance as they charge Michio, their bodies being caught up unintentionally with his torrent of blood, washing them away into the gaping pit.

Michio watched as several more lifeless fell into the new crevice that opened in the floor and took the opportunity he had been given. He thrust more blood at the crowd, throwing three more of them into the pit below. Fortune was beginning to smile on him, and he moved to get through the crowd once again...

.... but this time, he didn't get very far before the crowd moved in. There were only 19 of them left, but that was 19 too many.

Another crack opened up in the Trial room floor, sending more of the lifeless to their timely second deaths. Juugou scanned the room and could now see a second person taking on the lifeless on their own wielding what looked like a whip of red liquid. The stuff was helping push the creatures into the cracks but there were still enough to impede any progress toward the exit. If i can somehow make it over to him our chances of getting out of here may be better...However the lifeless had other plans and wouldn't let him get off the table. Juugou managed to block a rather aggressive sword slash with the sword he took, but the reverberations hurt his hand.

So with only four Lifeless to keep Juugo at bay by the throne, the remaining nine move to surround Michio. They pay no heed to the crevice that led to the void below, their sole focus was to stop and kill the two intruders.

Michio could not help but smile when the Lifeless mindlessly tumbled themselves into the void below and saw another opportunity to use the crevice again. He held up both palms, unleashing a large amount of blood on the crowd and sending three more into the pit.
"Three down.." he said, and quickly counted the vastly lower number of Lifeless. "Ten to go. I just hope Kalam makes it alright..." He glanced towards the hole that Kalam and Leoman had fallen into when the floor had given way, but after a moment his attention turned back to the Lifeless that were closing in. He made a break for it...

... and he didn't make it much further before a wall of zombified soldiers blocked his path once more. "Goddammit!" he shouted and prepared himself for another attack, ready to throw up a wall of blood between him and the six corpses that stood in his way. The other four that he had counted were surrounding a man some distance away and while he felt for the man, he had a dagger to retrieve and a comrade to slap awake.

Juugou watched as the remaining lifeless split up. Four remained at the table keeping him hostage while the others congregated around the other person in the room. Wielding the sword aloft the genin swung in wide arcs aiming for the heads of the lifeless surrounding him. The strikes decapitated two of the four and left the head partially detached on the third, leaving one remaining around the table.
