 With a graceful smile, Shinku slipped into the robe. He tugged it close fingers linguering on the ivy green and gold fabric. "Two of my favorite colors," he spoke giving a grin.
He rested his hand on Shi offer arm. "Yes, let us head towards the baths."

 Shizuka smiled cheerfully at Shinku and motioned his hand toward the bath, "Well, then, allow me to lead the way..."
Walking slowly, lest the Haka's ankle was still causing him too much pain, Shi started toward the opposite end of the showers than they had bathed in. Sweeping open the only set of double-doors in the showers, Shi revealed a great, steaming spa surrounded by flowers, trees, oils, and practically anything any one Haka could want to be completely pampered with. The edges of the hot spring were rocky, but still smooth enough not to cause any of the delicate creatures harm. Shi hoped his friend would like the spa enough to return again and again.(Possibly with him?) "So, what do you think? Are you ready to take a dip and get that ankle feeling better?"
(These posts just seem to get shorter and shorter. Maybe now would be a good time to bring in his brother or something?)

Walking with a just a slight limp, hand resting on the strong arm, Shinku had little trouble keeping in step with Shizuka. He no longer had his sandals on, a major help, so he was blanced.
Jaded eyes blink and his mouth formed a perfect dainty little o of surprise. "Ohh my, it's beautiful," he whispered. Flowers nodded their heads over the steaming waters of the spa. Elegant bottles of oils, piles of large fluffy towles, and buckets of water to cool off with and sip ran across the waters edge. Great trees provided shade, the edge was rocky though, making him a little weary about treading it with a twisted ankle. "I would love to take a dip. My ankle certainly is ready." He smiled.
Outside the spa; blue gray eyes narrowed in thought. While it was not his brothers usual place of refuge, he had tried the parks and book shop to no previle; his brother had been see with a Gehaka. One he, Shinku own brother, had not heard about.
Throwing up his hands in expaseration, he gave up figuring his brother and tied the two horse's leads to the gate. He muttered soothing nonsense to the pair and left them with some apple pieces before walking to the gates. ((Sei in my siggy.))

Shizuka could see the apprehension that Shinku had when looking at the water's rocky edge and smiled, "I'll help you in if you'd like... I wouldn't want you to fall or trip over a rock... they can be tricky and move when you're not looking..."
Shi blushed a little wondering whether his keeping an eye on Shinku also meant keeping an eye on him while he was soaking... *gulp* naked in the spa. No doubt there would be talk and rumors spreading about Tsukiko Shizuka, the final Gehaka son of the highly-respected Tsukiko family, beeing seen with a Haka of the Haka's own free will. And helping with a soak of all things!
Shi eyed the bottles of oils, wondering whether they were for the water or massage or what... he'd figure it out after Shinku was safely relaxing in the steaming spring. He could also pick some of the flowers and let them float about in the water to make it more beautiful... though Shinku's presence alone added that effect to the spa.

Shinku cheeks took a tinge of pink. "Was my doubt so obivious?" He questioned softly. The show emotion was frowned on by his mother. "I would be grateful for your help."
The jade eyes noticed the blush and the colored deepened in his face. THey..they would both soak naked in the warm bubbling waters. It couldn't be any diffent then batheing with his elder brother? A elder, gorgeous, unrelated, kind Gehaka...no their was a difference. A big difference. For some reason the Haka was remined of his mothers steamy romance novels.
Sei walked though the spa searching slowly but steadly for his younger brother. He spoke with a few relaxing Gehaka and started towards the outdoor spas. These would have more appeal to his younger brother.

Shizuka turned back to Shinku and lied for the sake of his pride. "No, I just thought that it might be less dangerous if I helped you in. You do have a terribly twisted ankle and I believe I've rather ruined your day... besides, it's only polite," he said quietly.
His icy grey eyes became strangely curious suddenly and he strode straight up to Shinku. His hand outstretched toward the Haka's face, he stood a bit taller than Shinku, but if they'd been the same height he would be almost nose to nose with the beauty. Gently sneaking a hand under the Haka's bangs on his forehead, Shi slid them out of the way so that he could take a look at the where the laceration had been a little bit ago. There remained little of it left to view aside from a slight pink trace of the wound. Suddenly, the sweet scent of the Haka's skin filled his nose and every muscle seemed to tighten. "I... I see your wound is nearly gone... is it causing you any further pain?" his deep voice lilted.
Pulling himself away from the beauty while he answered, Shi neared the spring and began formulating a plan to get the Haka into the water safely without seeing him improperly naked. He headed toward the shallow end of the spring, where he might only get the hem of his pants wet if he was careful, and gazed into the water. He weighed for a moment the question of whether or not he should join the Haka in the spring should he ask it. His mother had told him to never disagree with a Haka, and he somehow knew he wouldn't mind the task, but would Shinku's honor be at stake if anyone saw the two of them.
Regardless of the outcome, Shi swallowed his fear and asked, "Suppose I stand at this end of the spring, just inside the water, and close my eyes while you take the robe off... I'll hold my arms up and, once you're ready, I can support you as you step into the water. Once you're ready, I'll open my eyes... how does that sound?" Shi shifted his weight on his feet, his great, pale, draconian wings open and ready so that he could drop down into the spring if need be. The sun gleamed off of his hair as he awaited his companion's answer...

"In contrary, my day improved rather then ruined. My ankle is not that bad." He turned his face away, pushing his hair back with a sweep of a small hand. He hated the feeling of being weak.
The warm hand tilted his face back, brushed back his bangs. Intensive icy grey eyes surveying the healing cut. "No, I'm fine now," he said; his skin was tingling at the close contact of the slightly taller Gehaka. "Does it look bad?" He inquired fingers reaching up to probe the laceration. "What? It has closed already?" He questioned eyes widening at the edges. What had Shi used on his wound to close it so fast?
Shinku tilted his head in thought; secretly truthfully taking in the way sunlight gleamed of the black hair. "You could always turn around while I slip into the water." He suggested, that truefully made the most sense to him.
"Or you could both enter at the same time with no fear considering you both now have a chaperon." A warm deep voice spoke. "Already searching for a second husband, little brother?" The tall intimation Gehaka view them both with cold eyes. His hair was just slightly lighter then Shinku's; draconian wings a icy blue.

"I'm not sure what the herb is called which closes the wounds, but whatever it may be, it works and well..." he confessed. He had never asked what the herb was, but knew that the leaves were star-shaped and white flowers blossumed all over it in the spring. At Shinku's suggestion, he lowered his wings and nodded, "Too true, and I wouldn't even have to get my pants... wet... "
Then his eyes went past the Haka and landed on another Gehaka walking into the spa. He had faded blue wings and ears and Shi wondered how he was related to Shinku. He looked nothing at all like him, save, perhaps, the shape of his face and eyes. He was definitely older than Shi, and a bit taller with broader shoulders. (Or so it seemed, for Shi usually slouched to make himself look small.) He seemed to pale even more than he was and become small.
"I... I..." He looked from Shinku to Sei and then heard the words 'little brother'. "S-second h-husband...?" Shi stammered. He hadn't the idea that Shinku had a first. Hakas didn't wear the silver bracers around their wrists that Gehakas wore when they were either engaged or married. There was really no way for him to tell. Shi now lost all poise he had and wondered if Sei had seen the bruises on his brother. "I-I can explain the bruises..." he began. for Sei would see them sooner or later.

Shinku was caught between a mutliple of emotions. Relife that any scandals would be adverted; rumors could not start with a chaperon. Angry that his brother had not appeared sooner when he had been injured. A little flustered that his brother had found him together with Shi and mentioned Hachiro. He would of said something, latter then sooner, still he would of told Shi about Hachiro. The last emotion was concern directed towards Shizuka sake. His brother could be a tad over protective. "Where were you earlier?" Shinku finally said.
Sei took Shizuka with his eyes and hmmed. "I was getting half your shopping list finished so you can scamper off to play. Seems to me you already started that with out me." He grinned wickedly. "You going to share this one?"
"Sei!" Shinku half screeched, blushing feriously. "Don't..That..W-wasn't called for. " He finally stammered out.
"Easy young one." Sei reached over and patted Shi on the head like one would a favored pet. "I"m not going to kill you for bruising my brother. He's clumsy and you look like your going to suffer a heart attack if I look at you wrong."

Shizuka stood completely speechless as the two brothers spoke. He relaxed a bit after he realized that Sei wasn't going to eat his soul for being with his brother. The two seemed terribly close, closer than he had been to his brothers thanks to his hemophelia. They supposesd the condition of weakness and clumsiness as well as the bleeding would spread if they spent too much time around their younger brother.
As Sei's eyes met the young Gehaka's, Shi turned away, giving the two some semblace of privacy in their conversation. He caught Sei's last comment about 'sharing this one,' and his ears perked and he looked desperately toward Shinku for an answer. "Share me? What's he talking about Shinku?" he asked, a bit of concern and confusion finally showing behind the mask of shy fear that had covered his countenance before.
Shi didn't appreciate being patted on the head like some child, but took it in stride. Squaring his shoulders and standing a bit taller, he replied a bit stronger, "I never thought you would kill me... it was an accident."
His confusion was quickly turning to frustration. Shinku was already married and hadn't told him. He apparently had a habit of 'sharing' those that he was around. Shi was about ready to turn tail and leave because Sei was picking on him so badly. He started to wonder if bumping into the Haka had been worth the trouble... he was beautiful, but did he have too many secrets?

Shinku coughed delicately turning a bright shade of red. "Brother was married to someone with unusual tastes. The Haka kind of enjoyed watching...um.." he shook his head," never mind, brother just likes to tease about these things." He looked at Shizuka eyes pleading. "I would never..I ment to.." He sat down hard.
Sei rested his hand on Shi. "Sorry about all that. I couldn't resist teasing my little brother a bit. Though I think it went a tad to far." He bowed deep and respectful. "I apologize. Shinku is engaged not married quite yet. Though brother please don't mention him again in my hearing," he added tartly giving a reflex tremble. "Hearing even that account still gives me goosebumps."
"His name is Hachiro. I'm sorry Shizuka; I would of said something but you didn't ask and then we started talking and," he trailed of miserably. "I thought you would leave or start being formal if you knew." He finished in a near whisper.

Shizuka looked puzzled as Shinku tried to explain Sei's predicament and why he had said such a thing. Shi had no knowledge of any kind of act and found it a bit brazen to even consider it. "I'm sorry... I just misunderstood," Shi replied, bowing a bit.
"I apologize for reacting the way I did, Sei," Shizuka said after he had apologized. "Well, I don't think him being engaged will change our friendship at all. Everyone gets engaged sooner or later don't they? What happened with Hachiro? Did he hurt you?" asked Shi, his grey eyes turning to daggers at the thought of it. He had never been a violent Gehaka, but then again he'd never had a reason to be.
Trailing to Shinku, looked into his eyes and smiled, "Don't worry, I won't go all subservient again anytime soon. And there's no way I could leave now..." He didn't know if touching the Haka's face in front of his brother would be proper so, he just looked into Shinku's eyes with a promising glow in his own. "So does this mean we're still going to soak or not? That ankle looks pretty bruised..."

Shinku gave a little smile and shook his head. "Hachiro is very, very sweet. We are rather close. I didn't give you the idea he hurt me, did I?" Shinku blinked in confusion at the dagger glare. "He's a gentle giant; Sei and father approve of him." he replied as if that settled it. Sei gave a warm chuckling sound. "I think," he started, "I can trust you two alone. So I'll finished the list of items for the wedding, salvage your kimono, and find you some new sandals. Heaven knows mother will throw a fit latter if you ruin a other one." He looked down at the swelling ankle. "A compress for that ankle as well. The herbalist should have something." He thought for a moment, that seemed like everything. "Shall I take my leave?" He questioned adding a formal bow. Shinku nodded, holding back a giggled at his brother's ending formal statement. "Thank you." He turned to Shi. "Yes, we are still going to soak Shizuka."

Shizuka scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, blushing a bit. "Oh, no... I, uh, I guess I took it the wrong way when Sei said not to remind him that you were engaged. I took it one of two ways: 1) That it was an awkward thing or 2) that he had hurt you or enraged the family in some way. I'm sorry. I just tend to leap before looking and it often doesn't end very gracefully..." he explained. He tried to relax a bit, remembering that the two with him were merely Hanze (like merely human) and not out to hurt him in any way. "I'm glad your family approves. My mother was terribly picky with my brothers' suitors. Even if the Hakas' families were renowned."
Shi veritably gulped when he heard the word "wedding." He didn't want to think of Shinku as someone who would soon be sharing his life with another Gehaka. He looked down a bit, as if a little downhearted that his engagement could mean the two couldn't become closer. For some deep, faded reason inside of him, Shizuka wanted that to be him and not the other Gehaka. Even if he'd just met Shinku a few hours ago, he was already so fond of him that he didn't know what he'd do when the time came for them to be separated for the day.
Shinku said his name and he snapped out of his reverie, standing and looking at himself in the water of the spring. "Oh, uh... right. I'll just turn around so you can get into the spring, okay?" He did so. Facing away from the spring so that there was no way he could see the Haka as he entered the water. Meanwhile, Shi's feelings were strangely stirring within him. His mind was racing like mad. He didn't know what was happening to him...

Shinku shook his head. "No, he didn't want me to remind him of his late husband. I'm sorry; I didn't specified enough." He smiled slightly before responding, "Mother just wants me married and out of his hair. He doesn't truly approve of me." It was the truth; Mother was in agony of his tomboy son. It had been the same with Sei, but mother found a suitor for his spirited son anyways.
Sei caught the emotion in Shi face, that alone made him decided that he should stay a little longer. To leave some words of wisdom to Shizuka before leaving, poor thing looked heartsick at the news. Brother seemed to like the Gehaka and if his brother absolutely wanted a weaponry store, he would need two mates at least. The elder shook his head silently betting Shizuka had never worked the forge.
Shinku smiled. "Going to stay to keep an eye on us for a few brother?" He questioned, turning around to face the water. He missed the downcast look on Shizuka face; he was a haka after all. A kinder one surely, but at times he forgot other feelings to center on his own. Besides what could Shizuka be downcasted for? He shrugged out of the robe and with cheery splashing walked into the water.
"Yes," Sei replied automatic. He made sure his brother safely entered the water, then walked to Shi. He leaned down to whisper, "Brother likes you, and Hakas can have more then one mate. Cheer up some, because you have a chance as well." Sei tapped Shizuka nose. "And brother will become upset if you are sad," he finished. He turned giving his little brother a wave. "I"ll be back here in a hour or so."
