The Sandshrew had been intent on defending his land, his home, not dying without having any children. Frankly he was intent on a lot of things, but as of this very moment literally none of it was ever going to happen. The shadowy limbs would cut into the Sandshrew's flesh and leave a bloody swath, the crimson red fluid staining the snow as the Ground-type fell forward. On this day the Mimikyu claimed it's first life, and all for the sake of Nim. [EINS GAINED: 45 EXP!]
Walking through the mountain snow, Sol would witness the actions of the Sneasel and get an idea. Two ideas actually. One of which was an awful idea. A brilliantly awful idea. A terribly brilliantly awful idea...
Reaching into his bag, the boy would retrieve two of the party streamers given to him by his Professor. He didn't know why the teacher would give them such a thing, but right now they'd come in handy so he wasn't about to complain. In the following moments the child would hand one of the streamers to Umbra, then as one one the pair would creep threw the snow.
Once they were both in range, the pair, on Sol's signal, would throw the streamers into the air so they'd land on the Sneasel and it's creations! "CONGRATULATIONS! IT IS MY PROUD HONOUR TO ANNOUNCE YOU'VE WON THE SUN COIN PRIZE IN SNOW SCULPTURE AND DESTRUCTION!" He shouted excitement and enthusiasm, as if he were truly happy for the Sneasel's victory "Your Prize includes an all expense paid trip around the world! See new and exotic locations! Delicious foods from other regions! Meet and possibly destroy Pokemon you've never even heard of!" He announced further, using a voice similar to someone in a commercial "So tell me sir or madam, would you like to claim your prize?" He asked, scooting just a few steps further back than Umbra was just to be certain of his own personal safety.
Umbra for his part had been attempting to clap enthusiastically. Seeing as he was a slow, heavy Pokemon made of clay and other sundries, it wasn't going well. Still he tried to help as best he could.
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 3 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.
Surprisingly, the flight hadn't been quite as bad as Aria had expected. Maybe it was because she was actually inside something, but she was at least able to look outside and watch some of the flight. It was certainly better than sitting and shuddering in her seat for the whole trip. "Where will I be dropped off at, sir?" she asked once they were actually over the island. Given her luck so far with these sorts of questions, though, it might not have been wise for her to ask that.

Deneb was just too small and too fast of a target to hit. Despite coming out entirely alright, the cutiefly was still panicking. He tried to eat him! Ahh, he was gonna die here, he was really gonna die. His pollen he'd leave to his family, and...wait, did his family even remember him? Cutiefly died all the time, would they even care--
"Deneb. Concentrate." He went stiff when he heard Altair's voice. Though outwardly calm, the aura Deneb was picking up from his trainer was dulled and dense. The boy was annoyed, with him no doubt, and if there's one person he didn't want to let down it was his master. He switched to hovering in place, cautiously keeping his distance from the sneasel.
His wings began to buzz loudly as he prepared his attack. "> D-don't take this personally! <" he peeped before charging towards the sneasel, his needle-point mouth stuck forward and ready to Absorb his opponents energy!
Onyxia looked a little a worried, Bind would last for at least a little longer. "Ordo, Fire Spin again!" She was ready for the potion if this didn't work. The flames would be effective and potentially trap the other Pokémon for them. Ordo began to burn once more. Spinning around in a circle as flames covered it's body. >Join us! Onyxia is really nice, she'll take care of you. Plus you'll get to attack more Pokémon!<
Trafalgar listened on. He didn't exactly see the Pokemon as team material at the moment. Maybe if he attended a cooking school, the Cherubi would make a neat partner, but he was on a path of creating havoc in the world. A cherry couldn't help him do that.
/No, not a combee. The lost worker is a human./ Trust pondered about what kind of big scary yellow Pokemon the Cherubi was talking about. Maybe Beedrill? This cherry sure had a lot of pep in it. /Well, it seems like you're in good care. Your mama will protect you, just don't stay too far away from her, alright?/ Trust stated.
">Oh mama's gone! A big birdie took her out for tea and she never came back! I dunno why!<" The Cherubi said enthusiastically, oblivious to the meaning of it's words or situation. Instead it just continued to wobble with energy ">So humans gather pollen and make honey too? Humans are so weird!<"

[I understand the work woes. I should also let you know that Bind is a move which continues on regardless of whether it's the Pokes Attack or Defense turn. The last damage came during your Attack Turn, and this is the Guardians proper Attack Turn. The point of mentioning this is that you just attacked on your opponents Turn when you should be defending. This is do-able, but it's something called a Counter-Attack. I am going to give you a break because you didn't know any better, because here is an important thing to know about a Counterattack. If it FAILS? You take 2x the normal damage, meaning Ordo would be knocked out instantly. If it happens again you won't be so lucky. ]
[ORDO TAKES 5 DMG FROM BIND!]

Ordo would find he wasn't particularly convincing. After all the the Cryogonal got to attack Pokemon now, but he didn't have to take orders from a child or wait for them to 'let him' do it. Slowly those chains would tighten more around the Litleo's throat. Oxygen and blood flow would become slower now. It wouldn't take much longer....

Aria's instinct was correct; without even the slightest bit of warning, the Decuideye would knock her out of the helicopter with his wing. Fortunately, there were still soft snowbanks for students to land in on Everlast Summit, one of the three tallest points on the island. It honestly was a miracle that this mountain hadn't be crushed under the weight of all these children.
[[You know the drill, you're at 1/10, 10/10 to get to the next area.]]
Trafalgar needed to get a move on soon. He hadn't forgot his duties.
Trust was now understanding the state Cherubi was in. This Pokemon was too young, too innocent. She decided to give it some words of wisdom. /Humans don't do that. You're misunderstanding me, which is okay. Humans might be weird, but they can also be very dangerous, just like other Pokemon. You should be careful./ Trust could feel Trafalgar tensing up as he wanted to keep pursuing the quest. /Listen...we have to go now. We'll be back eventually, though. You...take care of yourself./Trust replied. It was true that they apparently did need to come back at the end of their mission but...Trust didn't know if they would see Cherubi again. Trust knew that she and Trafalgar had more important matters to attend to.

Eins glared down at the Sandshrew's brutalized body without a hint of pity. The cycle of lIfe and death couldn't phase a ghost-type; perhaps she'd meet the Sandshrew again, as a Gastly or Misdreavus, and they could greet one another on better circumstances. As it stood, it was simple fate that they'd been fighting... and really, she wouldn't have hit him as hard if he hadn't been threatening Nim. While Nim returning from the dead as a Phantump or a Yamask had potential, Eins figured the fearful girl would more likely end up scaring herself than anyone. And speaking of being scared...
Nim's panicked breathing came in short, sharp bursts as she stared at the lump that had been blocking her path. She'd started shivering again, and this time it wasn't from the cold. The battle'd been so quick and violent that she'd not even had time to react. Is this was real fighting was like? Is this what her sponsor wanted for her? She swallowed hard, transfixed.
There was no way they could stay her for long. The Mimikyu knew relatively well that dead bodies attracted scavengers who preyed on the weak, and right now, Nim looked pretty weak. Eins gently tugged on Nim's pant leg, burbling softly, hoping not to frighten her trainer further.
"Don't touch me." On one hand, Nim knew that her Pokemon had saved her-- possibly had saved her life. But on the other hand, she wanted to throw up. Slowly, she got to her feet, and began her way back down the mountain at a more measured pace.
[5/10]
Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 3 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Curses, foiled! The Sneasel landed hard in the snow with a hiss of frustration. That tiny winged Rattata... truly, this was a cunning and speedy foe. But he wouldn't let his story end here! He had to remain strong, even in the face of such a swift opponent! With a surprisingly lightness for a creature of the dark, he'd bounce backwards, trying to avoid the (potentially deadly) sucker!
">Okie nice Ralts Lady!I love you buh-bye!<" The Cherubi exclaimed, waving it's leaf as it wobbled on the branch. It probably wasn't going to take her advice though.
Onyxia began to fear as Ordo didn't succeed at all. She ran forward to try to tug her friend away. Spilling her potion all over her friend. She could see that fainting look when the other went to Struggling. "No Ordo, be okay Buddy. I don't want you killed." She looked to the Cryogonal, tears forming. She saw from the fuzzy corners of her eyes Ordo breathing again.
