Pat O'Ryan - Decided to just have fun with it ^.^ Pat reached the end of the chocolate slopes with a wide grin on his face and totally not worried about the 'race' part of the race anymore. It wasn't about trying to do decently in crossing the finish line it was completely about having fun. With a spring in his step the tall redhead quickly grabbed up a boat and started his way across the Gingerbread Lake easily realizing that his little filigree covered boat was more then it seemed, it was a bumper boat. Finally! As she pulled to the end of the slope, Jada shoved out of her waffle-sled and scrambled across the snow for one of the boats. Swimming was out of the question, in this cold, and as much as she might enjoy a little play, her hands were getting chilly. She wanted a warm drink, thanks.
Getting into the boat, her foot almost slipped into the water; she gave a soft squawk, clambering in and cursing as she checked her foot briefly.
There was time to be made up for; so she settled herself quickly, taking in a deep breath for focus. Too many people were ahead of her still- she didn't have time to play!

Something could be said for Aura's desire to speed things up. Unfortunately, smart wasn't one of them. Kailey O'Carroll - Competing
Why was there more water. Kailey groaned as she got to her feet and headed for the next section. The lake. Really? Why? Why was this a thing? Wasn't she already sick enough?
Cussing, and not really caring who might hear, she climbed into one of the boats. Yeah they were cute. But this was a shitty situation to be in for someone trying to recover from being so damn sick. And how the hell did you work a boat.
Kicking it was not the answer. That only got her a stalled out boat, much to her annoyance and hissing rage. Very much not a mechanical person, it took her quite a while to figure out how to get the boat going again and by the time she was out of the freaking boat she was ready, again, to lash out at someone. Thank you for seeing the last section of this race. Not soon enough!

Jericho Cross - Competing
He'd actually never been on a boat before, so this was weird. And slightly annoying. He got into the boat fine, even if it took him a moment to get remotely comfortable to deal with the ride. Starting up the boat also wasn't rocket science. No big deal. He'd gotten there relatively fast enough to give himself a moment to get started.
Jericho thought he was doing alright. No stress, no big deal.
Yeah then the freaking boat stalled out. He stared at the engine, unsure how the hell he'd managed to do that. It took a bit to fight with it, fiddling with the damn boat until it finally sputtered and started back up. Even then, the going was slow and irksome, eating up what little time he'd gained. Great.

Cassie Finlay - Competing
Cassie wasn't too thrilled to see the lake. Ok, but there were worse things. Like that two story climb. That was done, and she could see the finish across the lake! Finally!
Energized by the end being within sight, she was only too happy to hop into a boat and get it started up. Bumper boats wasn't something she'd tried before, but as she ended up colliding with a few other racers, she laughed at the impacts and the general light hearted nature of the whole event. It was... well, it was crazy but it was pretty fun!
It didn't take her long to reach the other end of the lake, much to her surprise, and she bounded from the boat with a definite renewed bounce in her step.

Solia wasn't sure why she bothered to do this. Then she recalled why. Fun. Snow was cold but fun and she used to like this. It was something human, something she could do, cling to. Pretend she was still human at. Was human at. She was human still. Yes, yes, a bit...out there now but she passed. No one knew. Still no one could know, would know. She was fine. Just odd. Different. Sledding a race- yes much fun it would be in the cold. In the snow. She would be fine. No one would know or find out and she could be... normal for a little bit.

People were strange Solia was realizing. They decorated things in odd fashions that polluted and harmed natural things. Humans were- disgustingly beautiful. But not her. She was above the rest. She always had been, always would be. As she danced her way to the milky way, She frowned at the floating gumdrops. Jumping as she knew her negaverse body would allow- but she was not powered up and nearly undershot and fell. It was by luck she did not and recovered, able to make it to the other side without falling into the polluted river way. That would have been not just terrible but deniably awkward to say the least. A perfect being losing her balance? Hardly a trick of your eyes was all. Solia was flawless as ever.
