Seemed like talking time was over. Carefully peeking from his hiding spot, he lined up a shot at the elf woman and let loose another bolt in a Prepatory Shot (14 vs AC, On the unlikely chance of the Sneak Attack hitting, 5+3+4=12 damage). He'd then shimmy back around the table and hide behind it. (Move to I-5, Stealth 21).

The bolt streaking past his shoulder was the only sign needed for Duren to act as well. It told him that the "group" had made a decision, and he would back his squad. Of course, it helped that the choice that was made lined up perfectly with how he wanted the situation handled anyway. He swung his staff hard, for a wide, sweeping strike that would slam the lady into the wall pretty roughly if it connected, ready to follow it up with a spear-like thrusting strike immediately after. Duren let out a loud shout as he struck.
Attack: Eldritch Strike (20 vs AC, 7+5 = 12 Damage)
Minor: (Only if prior attack hits) Sohei Flair (21 vs AC, 6 Damage)
Move: -not used-
Effects: Slide Valna 1 sq north. (Slam into wall?)
Curses: Valna
(Sohei Flair can only be used if a weapon attack succeeds before it in the turn. If my ES misses, the power is not expended.)

Seraphina was a bit surprised how things had jumped back into fighting, but it did not slow her down. In fact it felt a bit satisfying to sink her claws into the elf after she had been stabbed by her.!
Minor Action: Hunter Quarry on Valna.
Move action: Seraphina Shifts to G9
Standard Action: Marauder's Rush vs Valna 18 (or 16 if the mark is still active) vs AC, 13 damage on a hit

SCN_ Grey_fox Playing it safe, at your current pace it will take you an additional about 420 squares[35 rounds, at 12 squares a round] I am giving you a headstart...] to reach the graveyard, plus a few more to reach them. I will allow you to make this an athletics skill challenge(dc 9 or less halves time, 10-14 same speed, 15+ double your current speed for the round, N20 Acorn harnessed her inner Flash, 10x your current speed.) You will stop and have to roll an saving throw, if you roll 3 times under dc 10 for your athletics checks. You can make your check at any point of the round, but they will only count on your tick. blah, blah, blah... Suddenly, a memory flashed in Acorn's mind. Something basic, something primal, something that spoke to the very core of her soul... Duren borrowed a gold from her to pay for dinner the other weekend! And he never paid her back! Perhaps... perhaps he was hoping she'd simply forget, and he wouldn't have to pay her back?! THE FIEND!!! She'd show him a thing or two! Gripped by furry fury and indignation, she rushed down main street in a blur, pumping her arms quickly as she left a dustcloud in her wake.  Seraphina would yell at Valna as she fled down the hole. "Don't think just because we broke in here somehow justifies your actions, you wench!" Seraphina would grumble under her breath. "I hate it when people get all high and mighty like that...rationalizing and s**t." Seraphina would use her tattered cape to wipe the blood from her hands and mouth and turn to her comrades. "Well, I guess we'll wait for our happy go lucky wolf before moving on." She would then let out a worried sigh. "Dragon eggs and Orcus...I hope we made the right choice..."

Morenth would slowly approach, peeking down the hole. "I will be surprised if she lives through that." He adjusts his cloak before moving to the dead drake. Drawing his short sword, he begins carefully extracting his bolt, hoping it's salvageable. Looking at the drake proper, he turned to the others. "We shall, of course, have to keep them from getting a dragon egg. The Holy Ones must be properly taken care of and worshiped, not degraded of mind and body to become some 'pet' to someone."
"Also, do either of you know how to skin something properly? The most I've ever had to do was rats."

Duren was utterly stunned by the backlash of ice that impaled his body...for about a second and a half. His look of startlement vanished in a puff of smoke though, along with the rest of him, only to reappear over by the shelving behinds them. The Dwarf coughed and his flesh seemed to collapse in on itself, even as his bloody body sank to the floor. He hadn't realized it, but the severity of the blow had caused the Dwarf to lose control of his form. When it stabilized again, she was no longer Duren, but a barely conscious halfling child with a mop of red hair.

Seraphina would cringe at the sound of something eating Valna's body. She wondered if it was the Z person that had been mentioned. Well, one thing was for sure. They, weren't jumping down their after her. Seraphina would answer Morenth's question. "I know how to skin. We can use the Elf's dagger. She dropped it over...Duren?" Seraphina looked up to find their Dwarven comrade was no longer with them. Instead, their was now what looked to be some sort of red headed child in Duran's now overly baggy clothes. Seraphina would move over to him and exclam. "What the hell? What did she hit you with?"

The halfling seemed to not realized that she was not, in fact, a dwarf anymore. Luckily though, it looked as though the altered form has staunched the immediate bleeding. When the girl spoke though, it was with Duren's gruffness and tone...naturally in a much higher register. "The hell do I know, Scales...Feels like I *cough* got flayed alive though..." she grumbled, coughing halfway through. She just laid there for now, not even trying to move yet.

Seraphina would respond to Morenth somewhat absentmindedly, obviusly distracted by Duran. "Uh, yeah....sure."
She would then continue on. "Uh, Duran...I guess you haven't noticed yet, but that elf turned you into some sort of child or something. You look like a halfling..."

(being everyone is resting you don't need to do any more rolls, so you are free to rejoin the party when ever you wish)
The streets became increasingly barren of life as the Longtooth pup closed in on the graveyard. The casket of the funeral laid on the ground next to it's hole. The gate to the crypt stood wide open, the guard and your friends were no where to be seen.
