So they were food samples...but who didn't like food samples?

Approaching the short line, sure of his trinket, using the lessons he learned from Courtesy. It is a lovely, if dark, flower display that speaks of Silence, Aloofness, and Handsomeness! It is of white rainflower, deep orchids, and a smattering of fir and dark leaves.

Frighten looked between the siblings and walked over to the doe with the branch he'd found with some slightly frozen apples on them and handed them over to her, and walked off with his tokens.

Walking After Midnight could occasionally get quite impatient, so seeing the long line in front of Speak made her decision easy on this day. She took her trinket, a shimmery feather that turned from blue to green depending on the light, over to Hold Your Tongue and offered it for inspection, hoping that he would find it as pretty as she did.
Unfortunately, he was not impressed. A bit grumpy at the rejection, she trudged away from the booth to find someone more appreciative.

Sugar Star decided it was best to wait on line and try her luck with the nice looking doe instead of the sour looking buck. She brought her favorite pink stone up to the other doe with a smile.

Today he did not feel like gambling with his luck. Standing in the long queue, he cannot wait to show the doe what he brought today: a sparkling blue and green turtleshell.

Not that Plainsong could see what she had found, but it was cool to the touch and smoothly faceted, and just felt pretty.
"I hope it's nice," she nudged it towards the voice of the doe with a shy smile.

Low Tide had come armed with a gift specifically for the doe this time, and she was quite proud of it. It consisted of a very flat, squat seashell with two long, white feathers attached with a glob of dried sap, all of it dusted with crystallized sea-salt to give it a powdery appearance. "I-I made it myself, for you!" she declared happily.

The one with muted colors chattering in a hushed tone to her. When it's their turn, the transparent white doe sets the package in front of the girl twin. But it is her companion who speaks. "Gaze of a Spectre wants you to have some of the walnuts we gathered earlier. Screams of the Dead says, while Ghost opens the leaves to reveal a dozen or so nuts, still in the shells. Ghost makes not a sound through the whole thing, only smiling in a friendly manner when collecting her tokens. Screams replies on her friend's behalf, "Thank you, have a good night." and the two turn and leave.

Wild Green Stones had managed to procure an extraordinarily long blue feather with an eye marking on the end. "This is for you," he said when it came to his turn to talk. "A lovely gift for a very lovely doe."

Roll 1D6 if you've chosen to try your luck with Hold. If you roll a 1 or a 6 you get 2 tokens, everything else is 0 tokens. Light forced his way through the queue, he didn't want to wait long today and shoved most of the kin aside. "Hey, hey, look this way," he shouted at the buck, "I got you something really awesome!" He finally finished pushing and shoving and made it to the front of the line. THere, finally, he placed down his gift to Hold Your Tongue, a bees hive dripping with fresh honey.

"Do you like seaweed?" asked Hears the Tide. "It's not very - ah - it looks plain at first, but when it's been dried it catches the light well. It's green! See?"
He pushed his seaweed forward and smiled.
