Melody desperately ran after Lawr. Her shoulder ahead of her so Whisper pushed debris and brush out of her way but thankfully he cleared a path she could keep sight of him rather easily. "Wait up! I can't defend like this!" She ran even faster, becoming careless enough she tore her skirt on brambles as she went.

Well, that seemed to be enough for Joy. "Okay so, we take them both back just near enough to camp? Like we can call out from there? The only Sun I know is Rep. Maybe he can figure what to do next?" Joy was not the idea person. She's exhausted all the options she can think of.

After the bony arm was hidden, Jason looked a little bitter. A little. He still didn't look to hopefull at the prospect of bring the zombie into camp. "I g-guess..." He paused at the mention of a name. "Jordan? I think he hangs out with Rep, but I haven't seen him at the camp..." And then the communicator was revealed. He sighed, placing a finger and thumb on the bridge of his nose. Jason was a nice guy, but the idea of bringing them both into the camp with something that could track them? Yeah that sounded like a real good idea. After hearing Joy, he sighed again. "We can do that. But they'll need to leave those communicators here. Rep would kill us if we brought those near the campsite."

”Oh Rep…. hm…” she paused for a moment, “Well Rep knows me, but I can’t say he likes me. We uh… have history, not the best of history, but he knows who I am and he’s great in a fight if you let him go to town.” Jason however still didn’t seem to be at ease, sadly there was little else Sammy could do to mitigate that. Still she stood there with both the communicators in her hands.
“We can leave them here if you want, I don’t know if they can track them or not. It’s 50/50. We run the risk that if we come back to collect them that someone will already have picked them up or have a trap waiting, but that would be the better choice of the two.” Moving over towards the tree the Horsemen had leaped on earlier Sammy kicked at the dirt with steel toed boots to make a shallow hole before tucking the two devices inside. She even paused to scratch an X into the tree with a boney finger.
“Sorry about this buddy but you’re gonna have to tolerate my whole being a zombie thing.” Whipping off her cloak she folded it over a few times before tossing it over the horsemens head, a few vines later and they had a blind folded prisoner. It was at this point both hunters got a good look at Sammy.
She looked almost like she was in her early 20’s or late teens, the bone arm going up into the rolled-up sleeves of her dark green canvas jacket. On her hip a golden and blue pendant swung with each step she took in camo pants and heavy skull designed boots.
“Lead on.”

The tracker things didn't even register with Joy and she was glad that Jason remembered them. The zombie woman seemed to know what she was doing, at least one of them did. "Okidox, probably best you stay between us along with Aida. Ada? That Horsewoman."
She trusted Jason to bring up the rear while she took the lead. Now, a more strategic person would have used a winding, roundabout path but Joy wasn't familiar enough with their surroundings to do that. She might end up getting them lost and so she figured a direct path was best. When camp was still not completely visible but within just a sprint away, she signaled to both the Halloweener and Jason, "Imma go ahead and warn whoever I find," before breaking into a mad dash for camp.
And of course making good on her earlier offer of yelling to "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!"poke mattix Just keeping you in the loop bby

Lily was a bit late to the party. Her long flowing robes were replaced with something more modern, short, and easier to run in and her long black hair was pulled back from her face in a tight ponytail. A large jade orb was carefully worked into an ornate gold belt around her waist and it jangled softly as she walked. She curiously scanned those nearby for a familiar face.

The horsewoman resisted a little at first but resigned herself to following along when it was evident she couldn't fight any further. The rest of the trip back to camp was fortunately uneventful.
Rep was on edge to say the least, when Joy called out to him, he dropped that he was doing, startled and hurried in the direction of the voice. When he got to Joy, he looked concerned. "What? Are you all right? Where's Jason?"

Lawrence didn't look back, couldn't look back. It was like something came over him, Butch all but controlling his hands, leading him ever onward through the jungle. He didn't care about the scrapes at his shield, he didn't care about anything. It was all blank.
The watch showed nothing, but it couldn't show nothing for ever.
Leaping, he cat-like scaled up a tree, not thinking clearly about if his companions could effectively follow a very light man with huge claws.

Having mostly diverted attacks away from others, Joy was none the worse for wear. She was, however, red-faced from the fight and the sprint. She drew in a deep breath before answering in one continuous go: "Saw a Horseman carrying a Hunter then a Horsewoman attacked us! But then a badass zombie-chick helped us out and we beat the Horsewoman! Jason's with the prisoner a little bit outside of the camp!"
And here she took another breath while gesturing towards the direction she'd left Jason, the aforementioned Zombie-chick, and said prisoner.

It all just sounded like "prisoners" to Rep, a retaliation for what was done to Rodney. He was fine with it, and he wouldn't be ******** kind either. He stopped by one of the tents to grab some charged runic restraints and returned briskly. Zombie chick as far as he was concerned meant one person, and he wasn't about to tolerate her smug "helpfulness" today when people could be dead.
Leaving Harrison temporarily in charge of the camp, he nodded to Joy. "Lead the way, I'll want both of them restrained before they get anywhere near here. We cannae be too careful, we already lost someone."

The ghoul had no objections to the plan thus far, the Horsemen was for the most part behaved, but Sammy didn’t trust her at all not to pull something so she tightened the vines a bit more making sure she couldn’t see or pull anything as they marched onward with her and the prisoner.
Eventually Joy split off seeking Rep, Sammy meanwhile continued to hold the Horsemen in place waiting quietly with Jason who, well he just seemed to not really want to look or talk to her at the moment. She could only offer him a small shrug as she waited.

Joy waited for further instructions, bouncing on her heels from the excess adrenaline and not because she was feeling giddy and happy. The grim look on her usually cheerful face was proof enough for that. She was unaware of whatever history the Zombie had with Jordan or Rep or really any of the older, senior Hunters, not like there was an easily accessible file or anything (and if there was, Joy wasn't the sort to read it unless told.)
When the Sun Hunter returned with the runic gear, the trainee quickly darted back into the jungle to lead Rep to the trio.

He could move fast when he had to, and he did, not stopping. It didn't matter he didn't know where he was going, he knew where the temple was, and even if he had to walk for hours, he'd find them eventually, or at the very least, flush them out into leading him there. Self-preservation, perhaps for one of the first times in a long time, didn't matter.

Rep reached Jason with a strong sense of relief, the whole way back heavily anxious that they'd all be gone and that the horsewoman who had attacked them would have brought reinforcements with her in the meantime. Fortunately it hadn't happened and the group was still present. He quickly made his way over to roughly shackle the horsewoman's hands behind her back, before turning to Sammy (because of course it was Sammy) and brandishing the restraints at her too.
"Either you ******** get these on or I send you back to Halloween by ******** force. You choose."

And then he saw it. He could have missed it, a single blip on the edge of the map, a blip labelled "Rodney"
He stopped for just a second, a split second, and then zoomed off in a whole other direction. He didn't notice he'd left Melody and Melvin behind, he didn't notice much other than reaching that blip before it went out. He wasn't rational enough to think that maybe it could just be his watch, separated from it's owner, he wasn't rational enough to think anything other than what Butch was repeating over and over and over.
