Evelyn Aintia Lionis EC: $1934 Location: Main Foyer Evelyn looked at the former queen and she curtsied to the blonde woman "Hysteria" she said, a small smile n her face "It has been a long time indeed" She said as she looked at the papers in her hand "I have actually come here to ask for your assistance and generosity" Evelyn said to her and held out the papers "My birth mothers name and origin" Evelyn said, waiting until Hysteria took the papers before she began to speak again. "As you will read, my mother was Urla Bronzewell, the second daughter of the Duke Bronzewell" Evelyn said to her "I have it on good authority that the Bronzewell House was wiped out during the Lionis Civil war with Catherine and Azazel" she said to her before she would move onto one knee and kneel to the former queen "It is my humble request that you bestow to me my mothers ancestral home, and allow me to continue my mothers line here in Bellris" she asked.

Hysteria Izadora Bellris EC: $500Clothing: red dressMood: Calm Hysteria took the papers from Evelyn and opened them, reading though the information slowly, such maters where critical to her country after all. As she listened to Evelyn she read the names, Urla Bronzewell had been living in Lionis and had born a daughter she had named Evelyn "Jean, please bring me the book of noble lineage" she asked and a student nodded her head and ran off. Hysteria had never met Urla, really she didn't have any connections to the Bronzewell family other then knowing that they had once been nobility. Hysteria would fold the papers up and hold them in her hands "please stand up" Hysteria requested before continuing What you're asking is no minor thing. In order for you to inherit the Bronzewell estate you would have to be legitimized. You're female so that wouldn't be a problem, the issue comes in when taking note of your fathers family" Hysteria said as Jean came back with a large book. Hysteria would open the book to B and start flipping pages, BA, BE, BH, BI, BR. Hysteria flipped though a few more pages "Your father harbored ill intent against Bellris, and the thing that concerns me is that once you're legitimized are considerable for a seat on the council. What I don't want is you to have ill intent against Bellris and use it to rip the carpet from under my feet...." Hysteria trailed off and raised her eyes "So to speak" she said and looked back down, Beccets of Hestwall, Bheets of Loirt... "ah." Hysteria looked at the page, Bronzewell of Whipwood. Hysteria followed the line down to the latest names, and here it was, The last duchess of Whipwood was Raven Bronzewell and she did actually have a sister named Urla Urla Bronzewell, according to this Raven had had a daughter Gailavira that went missing during the civil war, but as far as the records stated, Raven and Urla had been killed. Hysteria brought a quill with ink to the page and wrote down Evelyn's name, creating a connecting line. "Near a month ago another women came to Bellris having been promised a seat on the council by my brother. I requested of her that she give up her titles and lands of her home Kingdom in order to become a councilwomen. Hysteria closed the book and handed back to Jean, who quickly walked away to put it back "As it stands I would ask you the same if you where to inherit the Bronzewell Estate. Not only because your legitimacy would make you eligible to be on the council, but also to avoid war as long as possible. You are a Lioninian Princess, just having you in this castle is enough to cause the Empires supporters to grow suspicious of me and consider war."

Evelyn Aintia Lionis EC: $1934 Location: Main Foyer Evelyn stood up and listened to Hysteria, she wasn't liking what she heard, but she nodded her head "I do not want a seat on the council, and I will not sign away my name" Evelyn said and thought about it "Back when I was locked away as a slave I went by the name Eva Lee, and for the last year I have been going by Lady Savage." Evelyn said to her "I have no lands to give up. Since the Drosselmeyer's rule from Lionis the palace is not mine. If it will spare you the trouble I will give up my name and take a new one in order to inherit the estate, and I will use this new name so long as I am in Bellris" Evelyn looked at Hysteria, growing slightly more confident as she spoke "And if I ever choose to leave Bellris I will abandon the name and give the Bronzewell land to the Council to do with as they see fit, so you are not implicated if my being in Bellris does lead to such problems."Evelyn said, and then she looked down "I served in the Imperial army for more then half my life. I can help train Republic soldiers, teach them Lionian techniques and how to counter them in exchange for your kindness"

Hysteria Izadora Bellris EC: $500Clothing: red dressMood: Pleased Hysteria couldn't help but smile, how she liked this girl already. She would take another step toward Evelyn and finally she would say "I will allow you to inherit your mothers families manor and lands on these terms. You must pick a new name to go by while you're here however. I would like to suggest the name Gailavira, it was the name of your cousin before she went missing and it would make sense to use it and say that you've returned." Hysteria said and then moved away "As head of the council it is in my power to return your ancestral lands to you, however I will speak to the rest of the council about your offer to train soldiers" Hysteria turned around and smiled at Evelyn "I would like to suggest lightening your hair as well, You can dye it red or blonde depending of what types of plants and roots you use, but it would further help to hide your identity while living in Bellris." Hysteria suggested as she took in the Princess, well in Bellris she was just a High Class woman, so princess wasn't something she was here, and she hoped she didn't prove to be a bad investment.

Cyn Bronzewell════ Location: Near the stables // Male // 16 // Mindset: Calm // With: Son ════ Holder of the Bronzewell Estates Trainer of the Bellris troop Cyn crouched down and bounced on his toes as he held out his hands, his shoulder length black hair pinned back with a plain silver pin "Up" Cyn said, clapping his hands a few times as he looked at his son, a little over a year and a half old now if memory served correctly, the boy had began to walk early and should be learning to fight by now. Cyn watched as his boy picked up the sword shaped stick and nodded his head "Good. now down" Cyn said to him, watching at his boy slowly put the play sword down as if he was testing as to if he should or not "up" Cyn said again, watching as his boy rolled his tiny green eyes and lift the light piece of wood up again "Good job. Now can you swing?" Cyn asked but the boy looked confused. Cyn looked over at his son "Swing." he repeated "Hit. Stab" he tried before looking around and smiling and pointing toward one of the men he was training. "Look, see?" Cyn said, pointing to the plain clothed man swinging a wooden sword "Swing" Cyn said, but his son seemed to want to go the extra mile and he took off running toward the man with the play sword up high, if it wasn't for the excited gurgling Cyn wouldnt have been been able to take off after the boy and grab him just before he tried to hit the recruit "No no Nero!" Cyn whispered to his boy just as he hit him on the shoulder with the play sword and Cyn raised an eyebrow at his son, making the dark haired boy look down and drop the play sword. OOC: Hope this is ok. ════ Love // Honor // Justice // Revenge I will see the ones that I love smile down upon me But I will not stain my honor with the blood of their killers For Justice will make it so your enemies fall from up high And Revenge will only make you the murder that stood behind them.

Company:: Nero and Cyn Outfit:: Practice gearFeeling:: Friendly Condition:: Healthy Location:: Training Currency:: 5000¢ EC Items:: Wooden Sword OOC:: Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris The sudden closure of the borders of Bellris had cause a huge ruckus among the people of Bellris, and created a huge turn of unforeseen events. What men Roland was to receive into his private lands was now reduced to a forth of what was originally promised. What was his sister thinking, closing off their vast republic so suddenly! Surely Hysteria wasn't upset over the few Ethans that wanted to be under Roland's rule and protection, working on the lands of his manor, was she? No, this was something bigger. With the fires of homes now down and done, and the body of that Archduke Mortimer gone, Roland could only hope his sister has come to her senses but something was telling him things were I'm probably going to get worse before they got better. "I can't be thinking like that...for I will be making things better for my republic soon."Hidden as a common soldier among the recruits was Roland in disguise to relieve some of his stress while training with the new blood for the army. He would do this at times not only to relieve some of his own stress with the excise of training but also to get a feel for the soldiers and understand them better as people to know how best to use them on the battlefield. There haven't been any wars that Roland has publicly be involved in but nevertheless he wants to be sure when things get ugly, if they ever do, he won't be the only knight rushing with blade in hand at the howling dark that comes. Set the scene with helms, soft armor and wooden swords as two soldiers test what they have learned from their instructor about Lionis battle tactics. Then, add a little rascal after Roland's winning match and see the two men smile at the little one who shows an interest in swordplay; The one who was smacked happening to be Roland who unmask himself to speak to the little one. "Hello Sir Nero." Roland, a stranger, smiles lightly to the light footed assassin and gives little Nero a playful bow. "You did masterfully well with your swing, little sir knight." The child is confused and says so with the uncertain stare he begins to give the crimson eyed knight; The true recruit with a face of silent disbelief that he had the opportunity to face the Black Lion of Bellris; Son of the Crimson Lion of Bellris. "Your swing. It's good." The child still seemed a little confused, he looking over to it's papa before looking back to Roland as if waiting for some sort confirmation on something. Lifting the wooden sword in his hand Roland gives the young lad's sword a little tap and nods his head at the boy agreeingly. "Swing." With that one word the boy smiles, understanding now what it was this man was trying to express, and with gusto the boy would advance on Roland with playful swings of little baby might. Taking the time to block at the child's swings Roland's own eyes now gaze up to the father from afar. "You're teaching your son an honorable path. I both respect that and welcome more people just like you and your son." And so the prince of Bellris meets the knight of Bronzewell with sun upon their face and a breeze galloping by from the north; A sign that winter is coming.

Cyn Bronzewell════ Location: Near the stables // Male // 16 // Mindset: Calm // With: Son ════ Holder of the Bronzewell Estates Trainer of the Bellris troop Cyn looked over at his son as Roland spoke with him, making sure to keep an eye on his boy so nothing bad happened Cyn would make the rounds, adjusting some peoples stances by either gently moving their arms up or down or kicking their legs apart or easily unbalancing a few of them with a quick shove "Always make sure your legs are both forward and sideways. If you are to far forward you will get knocked down from the side." he said and moved in front of another and took the sword in hand "if you stand with your feet to far in width this will happen" he said just before he flicked the sword into the air and caught it by the blade, slamming the pommel hard into the center of the mans chest and sending him to the ground "If this were a war you would all be dead and your women slaughtered." Cyn yelled so that even the farthest away could hear him "A good army will kill your sons and daughters, because if any child sees the face of the man that killed their fathers they will take up a sword and join the forces of whatever army opposes their enemy." he barked and held out a hand for the man on the ground and helped him up and gave him back his sword "Do not be fools! Mercy does not belong on the battle field." "We aren't soldiers!" someone managed to speak up from father back and Cyn smiled "No, but neither are bandits and raiders and slavers and monsters. Yet if they choose to sweep though your village everything you have ever worked for will fall before them into fire, then ashes, and then ruins." Cyn said before looking over at her son and the crimson eyed man he seemed to be enamoured with "Continue correctly! I will not have you learning the wrong way and shaming my name with your foolhardiness"Cyn walked back over to his son and the crimson eyed man, he didn't know much about the former Bellrisian royal family, only knew about Hysteria and the Queen before her, Napaysha. Cyn would nod his head to the crimson eyed man "I will not let my son grow up just to become fodder for the front lines. If he will end up fighting anyway I would rather him be ready for what is in life, it has nothing to do with anything honor" Cyn said to Roland before crouching down in front of him and eyeing his legs "You look like you're use to fighting...." Cyn trailed off and let his eyes move upward to look at Roland as he stayed crouching "But so does the Emperor and all he does is sit on his lazy a** all day and eat apples, so I've been told" he said and finally stood back up and moved a step away from the slightly taller male "You look like you're from a boarder village, you see a lot of fighting?" he asked. ════ Love // Honor // Justice // Revenge I will see the ones that I love smile down upon me But I will not stain my honor with the blood of their killers For Justice will make it so your enemies fall from up high And Revenge will only make you the murder that stood behind them.

A fair distance away, but close enough to be of help in case the sparring and practice went badly (which really wasn't likely to be the case with such skilled teachers at work). And after that, the child went away happy. So many words and so many conversations. A little too much for a little old lady like herself to worry herself over, so all she did right now was take a side-seat and listen like any nosy old war veteran. No battlescars to suggest that she had ever been near anywhere dangerous, but that didn't mean that she wasn't a force to be reckoned with. Who was the last person you heard who survived crossing her? Case closed. She continued to patiently knit just to the side. She had been at the beck and call of the prince, of course, and for the moment she was merely awaiting his instruction. He had summoned her, so she arrived, and now that her things were packed, she was ready to go anywhere. So many things to think about. It was kind of exciting in its own way, this new stuff. She could understand the fear and trepidation of the young. But, as this grandma felt, every generation needed its war. That's how you kept a nation sharp. Would she say that out loud? Hell yes. Who would stop her?

Company:: Nero and Cyn Outfit:: Practice gearFeeling:: Friendly Condition:: Healthy Location:: Training Currency:: 5000¢ EC Items:: Wooden Sword OOC:: Ta da! Here's something! ^^; Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris How oddly funny it was for Roland to know who Cyn was while Cyn not knowing of who Roland was. There was the reason for this particular day being the day the prince dressed as a recruit. This was the day he intended to introduce himself to the man his sister wrote to him about. "My manor resides by the borders but I grew up in the castle." With a smirk and an extended open hand Roland give the name to his face while crimson eyes examine the man who just seemed to size him up first. "It's a pleasure to finally be meeting you, Cyn Bronzwell. I am Roland Leoherz Bellris, Second chair of the council of Bellris and royal knight to Hysteria. I happen to look this way though because much like your own boy my father trained me to be disciplined." No, Roland did not sit on his a** and eat apples all day but neither did his people. They farmed and toiled with care for the earth Wich gave them life. Growing crops in the colder lands of Bellris took a certain kind of human souls, one of patience and attention. A nature that Roland magnifies when he picks up anything new he really wants to learn; Like a new battle style for example. Children will be children, and Nero runs off again. There off to the sides, where Roland had not noticed, was the guidance of an elder whoes wisdom was sought by the small child of Cyn; A timely reminder that the prince of Bellris had wanted to introduce Sharla to Princess Athena of Zalto. "My sister tells me close to nothing about you except that you are to be a member of our council. I hope you don't mind me being in hiding to learn more about you. It's actually good to have felt you give a s**t about these men and their training." Perhaps the prince was a little prejudice against foreigners but he was quite pleased with how this man had been responding to him; Even if he's a little dainty looking for an instructor. With open words and an open day how will these souls play about this earthly realm.

"I am surprised, I wasn't told I was going to be on the council, just that I was to train the new troops" Cyn said to Roland "That's what I have been doing since Councilwoman Hysteria hired me" he said to him simply before slowly watching his son walk over to Sharla and sit next to her "I do not think anyone should be without training when it comes to this world, it is perhaps one of the few things I agree with what your sister has done when she chose to arm the citizens... along with giving them an education and construction of better roads. At this rate Bellris will be number one in industry, export and import, The Bellrisians could bring about a rebirth of not just the Republic but the empire as well" he finally finished and he frowned as Nero started to poke Sharla "NERO!!! don't be rude!" he called out as Nero was about to pick up the play sword and start poking the older women's feet. Old age is not so bad when you consider the alternatives. ~Maurice Chevalier~ The elder woman in question, though she looked like all of her attention was on her craft, was paying fairly close attention to the child. Fortunately, the child was important enough to their parent if the poking had been averted. At the child's words, the grandmother chuckled. The kid couldn't have been very old at all. But, the child had a little more freedom than some other noble children who were locked up in nurseries and were refused contact with anyone their age, let alone a complete stranger like herself in an open courtyard where people were practicing open combat. Builds character. " Yeah, that happens. I know how I can make you feel better, though." The grandmother chuckled and lowered her knitting needles into her lap. She moved one hand closer to the child, mostly closed, but with one finger pointed at the lad. " Pull my finger." Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does - except wrinkles. Company:: Cyn, Nero and Sharla Outfit:: Practice gearFeeling:: Friendly Condition:: Healthy Location:: Training Currency:: 5000¢ EC Items:: Wooden Sword OOC:: Prince Roland Leoharz Bellris He said it was a pleasure but Cyn's face didn't quite match the part. Still, Roland didn't take it personally. Most people don't call an acquaintance a friend on the first day like businessmen don't call their partners simply associates. There is a sort of protocol to trust and it worked differently depending the situation. So far, Cyn showed a slightly playful side and dare place a pommel on Roland's chest and there he knew that this man was straightforward and real. It was sort of refreshing actually. "You're not going to be on the council. That was just my way of checking something. I'm sorry." A slight smirk played upon the prince's lips but he was apologetic for having lied to Cyn like that. He wanted to be sure Hysteria didn't hire on Cyn for other things...but something told him to still keep an eye on this man. "You were hired to do a job and you're doing it well. I just had to be sure of it first hand and, my man, you are doing this humble republic a grand honor in helping us become that rebirth of the empire." Knowledge is power, and Roland believes in this very much so. With knowledge of how other opponents might fight the army might have a better chance in sizing a victory. After all luck favors the prepared, and no one is certain what the future will hold. Suddenly, Nero was called out. Suddenly, Mama was called out. "Mama? I think the boy slipped up there." The prince jokes with the father of the child. "Speaking of mama, where is the child's mother?" Bu before he could get answer from Cyn, "Sharla! For goodness' sake, that joke is older than the castle is!" It was just now he noticed the royal nursemaid and just now that he recalled why he had her here; He was to ask her to be charged with looking over his own child to be.

Even if they're trained by me" he said to him as he watched Nero. Nero looked at Sharla with wide eyes and reached forward, his tiny hand wrapping around Sharla finger and pulling on her finger. Cyn watched his son for a second and crossed his arms, sighing slightly his eyes trailing over to the recruits he was training, watching as one started to slink away from the group. Cyn looked over at two recruits standing in the corner and he nodded his head, the two recruits went over to the recruit trying to slink off and stood on each side of the recruit and lifted him up by his arms and brought him behind the barracks. Cyn then looked back at his son "In the Lionis forces, soldiers that take a break without authorization from a higher stationed officer are subject to the three fists rule, one hit to the stomach, one to the face, and one to the back of the head. The rule is if you cant handle that small of a beating you're not even worth the time it takes to train. Deserters are executed on the spot." Cyn smirked "Woman aren't normally welcome in the imperial forces, His mother was one of Lionis' top generals until Empress Catherine came along and made her vanish" Cyn snapped his thin fingers "Just like that." Cyn frowned "I never saw her again and I can only assume that shes dead. Supposedly she was spotted at the fertility festival in Zalto not long ago, but I doubt it" Cyn smiled "He calls me mama sometimes because he knows something about what happened to her... Since I can only assume he saw the worst, I think it might be his way of coping" Cyn said just as the recruits came back out from behind the building, the two standing back on the side lines while the one that tried to slink away went back to training, this time with a bruised and bleeding lip. ════ Love // Honor // Justice // Revenge I will see the ones that I love smile down upon me But I will not stain my honor with the blood of their killers For Justice will make it so your enemies fall from up high And Revenge will only make you the murder that stood behind them.

Old age is not so bad when you consider the alternatives. ~Maurice Chevalier~ The joke might have been ancient, but the child most certainly wasn't. What did he know of whether the joke was old ao long as it was novelty? Besides, the timing of the joke made it perfect. The lad, eager to obey, took hild of her finger and tugged. She felt her knuckle pop, and anticipating the timing, she let loose a fart that didn't have a great deal of volume, but every child knew the trumpeting sound of a healthy ecosystem. Ah, the glory and relief of flatulence. Sharla began to giggle. She couldn't help herself. " I'm sorry, wrong finger." She picked up her knotting needles again. She cast a wink to her employer and turned all attention back to the kid. " Okay, okay. You're a smart kid. Why do seagulls fly over the sea?" Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age.
