Nashira's cheeks flushed a little when Neptune suggested waiting on a group shot, but nodded. "Yes." Was all she said at first, agreeing to Nadinia's statement. "...Neptune is very perceptive. His idea is sound." That was a compliment, right? She wanted it to be. Neptune was nice, after all, she liked him, and hoped that she could call him her friend. Actually, she really wanted to be friends with Nadinia, and the other three girls as well. Her gaze shifted to Zahneel when she volunteered to take a picture of them, and nodded. "T... thank you." She looked at Nadinia, who agreed, and she shifted awkwardly closer and attempted a pleasant face. She didn't typically show her emotion with expressions, but her eyes did convey her happiness at the turnout of her request. In the back of her head, she thought maybe she should apologize to Neptune for butting in, and asking him such a foolish thing as taking her picture. But that would be later. When the picture had been taken, she nodded to Zahneel and thanked her again. "I appreciate you taking the photo for me." And to Nadinia, she added "And thank you for agreeing. Getting along will make this trip pleasant." That was, this trip would be better with friends. She looked up to Patches and Mahuyah as the more eccentric girl seemed to be trying to stage a shot of them all right now. She... felt anxious and relieved at the same time. They thought it was a good idea too? That made her feel better that maybe she wasn't intruding on something, but also, now what? There was still that 'conversation' aspect of getting to know people. "My name is Nashira." She introduced herself to the girls she didn't know.

Okay, so that was one for waiting... Neptune appreciated Mahuyah's reasoning behind it - he wasn't always the most steady person himself and if the bus made any lurching movements, well...... he was sure he'd probably topple over. How embarrassing. No no, it simply wouldn't do. "I--I'm sure uh... Cl-Claire would like the... offer...? to b-be included." That was a lie, he wasn't sure at all, but it was a polite thing to say, wasn't it?
Oh, but Patches was setting up the group shot anyway. Discomfort rising, Neptune shifted a bit closer to Zahneel to make it a bit easier for them both to be in the shot... at least, he thought that's what he was doing. "U-uhh.... I don't um... I don't know if they'd mind..." He hadn't really thought about that... would he mind if someone got him in the background of their picture? Well, chances were someone already had, so... no, he didn't really mind.
"A-am I close enough t-to Zahneel...?" He didn't want to get all up in her space, not really, but fitting 6 people into one photo was going to be hard...

No matter how many times she looked, he just wasn't there in any of the seats. Neovi resisted an urge to pout, carefully keeping her wings folded as she moved around through whatever space she could find in the carriage. She'd been fluttering about in search of an imp she'd met once, hoping to tell him all about the slime he'd been so scared of, but she supposed she'd just have to save it for the next time she ran into him. If she ever did.
Giving up her search, the fey quickly turned her attention instead to finding a seat. Honestly she was surprised she'd gotten away with not having one for as long as she had, but she wasn't going to complain about that at all! It did leave her options a little limited, but that would just make the choice even easier to make. For instance, she could sit waaay back there in that seat, or maybe that one she'd seen near the front, or!
She plopped into the seat next to Lillith and stuck out a hand covered in dried paint. "Hiya! I'm Neovi, do you mind if I sit here?" She was already sitting there, so maybe it was a little late to be asking that, but oh well. "I was just thinking, 'there's someone who looks kinda familiar', but you know I don't think we've met after all. Except for now, I mean."

Harley had no idea why she had signed up. She regretted it the moment that it was out of her hands. For a time, she had forgotten about even considering this trip, but now, she was surrounded by people she didn't know. Her golden eyes serched the carrage as she made her way in and the majority of the ride she had kept to herself. Wanting to say something but too embarrassed to say anything. 'How are you?' she went over what she'd say in her head as the others talked. 'What made you want to come on this trip?' Another perfectly good question to open up with. Whispers of doubt crept into her mind. She would mess it up. She wouldn't be able to keep up. They'll leave her behind because she's a burden. She shook her head, trying to get out of that mind set and did her best to introduce herself to the nearest group of people who already seemed like they were getting along. "H-hi! How did you get here?" as soon as hose words left her gold painted lips, she wanted to die of embarrasment. Of course they got here like everyone else! She let her head sink to the seat in front of her. Maybe no one noticed, but she couldn't help but feel already inadequate. Quote: late to the game, anyone can quote me kivras Maybe they can sit next to each other

"Hum. I'll be taking a lot of picture through out this trip. It'll be.... fun, possibly." Callixtus smiled softly at Bebe. The pink hybrid's upbeat nature was almost infectious. Of course, the whole thing could end in a complete disaster. They didn't call places forbidden for no reason. It was very possible that they would all die tragically. Might as well have fun in the meantime. "It is nice to meet you. I'll make sure to get the pictures to you.""Congratulations on your upcoming graduation." He mumbled to the green haired hybrid- Sammy or something- as he playing with the settings on his camera. Maybe he should get some candid shots of other people in the bus. Those would be a lot more natural, right? Oh, there was still more conversation to be had. "Yeah, umm. That would be good. I'll mail them, that won't be a problem."Callixtus glanced over his shoulder to his seat mate. Azure. Decent name. "I develop them myself, at the photography lab at Grendel. Those places that you just drop them off at... they have no soul in it. It's not really the fault of the people who work there, they just don't have personal involvement in it, so there is no emotion in it." He huffed a great sigh. "The only way to bring spirit into the photograph is to do it yourself. That is, well, ummm." He stammered, realizing that he was probably starting to sound like a pretentious art nerd. It would probably not be well received and he would be shunned and the trip would turn terrible. "That is to say.. umm. I guess I can drop them off wherever or mail them like I'm doing for Sammy. Umm. Yes." Callixtus mentally groaned. Jumping out of the bus sounded pretty good right about now. Nasaiki He was introduced as Sammy so that's all he is going to call him until corrected.

It was a mystery to Thian why he was here. Following an initial undeniable burst of curiosity over the potential in a trip to Above, the demon's interest had waned almost immediately. Still, he'd persisted, going out of his way to save for new clothes and find someone to sign his permission slip. He couldn't even fall back on his usual reason for doing things—irritating Amory—because he had known she wouldn't care one way or the other that he went from the moment he'd decided to do so.
The only real reason he could come up with for why he had gone to the trouble was that he actually wanted to go. For the first time his usual disdain was the lie he was telling himself. Could it be that he was honestly excited by all of this? Thian didn't quite know what to make of that. He chose a seat in one of the few empty rows that remained, dropping his pack next to him with a thud. He then stared out the window, hoping that his standoffishness would keep the other students at bay.

He listened carefully to Callix, while he talked about how he felt about others developing his work. azure agreed with his points though he didn't say anything, waiting for him to speak before nodding slightly " I go to Grendel too so I don't mind picking them up there." he said taking a pause for a moment to think. " But I agree with you, with other people developing your work is like a music manager trying to mess with your music and add what he or she think works best. but that's not exactly music from the Heart, let alone from the writer themselves, so when people play the music there's nothing left of the artist left within. That's how I feel about it." He said as he began to think about music causing him to faintly hum . as he began to notice there were others around him and Callix, he was to fixed on their conversation that he hadn't paid much mind till now.

Bebe's eyes widened as the hybrid talked, not even bothering to stifle an excited little gasp. "Not quite true? You'd be brave enough to go in there alone?" she bit her lip with a smile, her head tilted to the side as she looked admiringly at Samhain, "I might be energetic, but you're so brave! Anyway I hope you're right about fitting in, because if the spooky forest creatures are anything like you, then I think I'll be less scared of them and more eager to make new friends." She winked playfully at him, before turning to Callixtus and his friend once more.
"Don't worry Cal, I'll be able to track down Sammy, I'm persistent like that," she assured him with a confident nod, "anyways it's so cool that you're at Grendel. Where are you going to go, Sammy? And you, um..." She bit her lip looking to the white and blue-haired boy next to Callixtus, trying to remember if she heard his name over the conversations going on around her. With a gallant recovery, she gratefully clung onto the other part of her conversation with Samhain. "You've traveled all around? Wow! I mean, it must have been hard not being able to make connections and stuff, but at least you weren't all alone! Ooooh, did you ever visit the Swirling Storms?" she asked eagerly. It was rare she met someone who had been to her home, especially if they weren't a naga or bakeneko.yuniki_stardream bebe insists on socialising with everyone darn it

Would he be brave to go to the forbidden forest alone, well he would definitely want to go with a group, hence why he was on a bus but if it was the only way to visit the forest… unsurprisingly he found that his answer was yes, yes he would. “Mmm yeah as long as I’m careful and pay attention to my surroundings not much ends up scaring me. For me the scariest thing I find often comes from other people, but that’s a depressing road to travel down. However I wouldn’t say brave, more like I have a bit of an adventure bug and if it was the only way to see the forest I'd do it. Still would prefer the group though.” He did snort a little however at the forest creatures being like him. Well that would make for a rather interesting trip… especially if they all came with their own Salem. Seeing an opportunity to lean his thoughts back in the right direction he turned towards Callixtus again. “Ah thank you very much. Here while I’m thinking about it let me give you that address.” Samhain commented before he reached down to where his backpack was sitting in front of his legs and in one of the front pockets pulled out a small little note pad writing his address down before ripping the sheet out and handing it over to Callixtus. Wait had Callixtus said what he thought he said. Yep… he had said Sammy. “Full name is actually Samhain by the way,”Well the next question was a relatively easy one. He had known where he was going to go to university from about the time he picked a house at the academy. “Ah, I’m off to Leviathan for Medicine, not sure yet what I’ll specialize in but I figure I'll have enough years of med school to figure it out.” He answered letting his side of the conversation lull for a bit as the others answered “I can’t say I’ve been to the village inside the storm yet, but I’ve at least seen the storm. When I was over in that area last I think I was about 6 and the storm was still raging. I’ll probably one day see if I can visit now that a sand storm isn’t in the way. ”

Zahneel took a couple of pictures of the two girls just to be on the safe side and smiled at the thanks.
"It's no problem. Though, I won't be able to give you your pictures until we get back and I can get them printed off. I hope that's okay."
She was about to re-settle herself in her seat when Nadinia's arm appeared with candy. Taking it, Zahneel thanked the girl and smiled happily. No one was treating her like a child, which was wonderful in and of itself. The candy was just an added bonus.
"Thank you so much," she said. Then, as realization of Nadinia's other words hit, her eyes went wide and her tail began to thump against the seat. "What's Above like? Is it very different from Below?"
Then, turning to Nashira, she smiled, but keep her hands strictly to herself. If the other girl was as shy as she seemed, she'd hardly appreciate someone shoving their hands at her to shake. Instead, she kept her voice low and reassuring, "It's nice to meet you both. And I agree with Mahuyah and Neptune too. It's a lot safer and it'll be easier to get us all in the shot once we're stopped for the night."
Except, the other grimm girl was already working on getting a candid shot. Well, there likely wouldn't be any harm done. And Zahneel knew that Patches didn't mean any harm. She just seemed like someone determined to enjoy herself and get the most out of the trip. Which Zahneel agreed with. So, with another smile at the two girls behind, she slid back down and leaned in towards Neptune, pitching her voice so only he could hear, "Are you okay with this? If not, I'll say something."
She placed a hand on his shoulder and squeezed gently, wanting him to know that small as she was, she had his back.

Nadi popped another candy into her mouth after Zahneel took one. She smiled at the Grimm and nodded. " It's really beautiful. ... I miss it a lot. Not that I'm sure Below isn't interesting, but it's just not what I'm used to. Above is so bright and gorgeous and lush. ... Well, at least where I lived. I grew up in a Dryad town, so there were lots of growing things all around. "
She felt the lump in her throat again, and cast her eyes to the floor. She smoothed her skirt across her knees, trying to calm herself. It was going to be okay. She was going back Above, after all! ... Even if it was only for a bit.
The Dryad wondered what this forest was going to be like. In truth, she'd never strayed far from her village home, so much of Above was also a mystery to her.

T’kani smiled mostly to herself as he responded to her affections, glad that they seemed to have the desired effect, letting her tail curl slightly around his leg when he returned the gestures. Shifting inwardly, she let him reposition her on his lap, then leaned against his chest as the bus started to move, settling in as he responded to Naosu.
Frowning slightly as she felt him tense up, she glanced up at him with a worried look as he held her tight, resting a clawed hand on his arm to try to allay his worries. She glanced over as Naosu sat down and responded, blushing at the compliment and winking back at her, perhaps conspiratorially. Not one to shy away from physical contact, she lazily stretched her legs out and let them rest in the Fey’s lap, being careful to keep her boots off of her clothes at least.
Her expression perked up with curiosity as she rummaged around in her bag, ears tilting at the offered cookies. Should she? She had made sure they were fed before heading to the bus, but they were cookies; she couldn’t necessarily say no to that. Plus it might help grumpyfluff’s mood to eat something right about now, right?
She smiled and signed a quick ‘thank you’ to Naosu before taking an offered cookie, nibbling on it approvingly, eyes flicking up to look at Noelan. They had a week together out in the woods, hopefully whatever was bothering him would be forgotten soon, and if not perhaps she would need to cheer him up. Or Naosu and herself? She hadn’t been the one with the foresight to bring cookies, afterall.

Mahuyah gave a soft sigh of relief, as it sounded that the others were agreeing with her on waiting until their rival to take a group picture. She was still anxious, especially since she was talking with so many others, but it helped that it seemed there were others like her in this group.
When Patches shoved the camera in her hand, she froze up a moment in confusion. This gave her friend enough time to get completely wrapped up into figuring out how to angle everything. This also involved Mahuyah standing up with the carriage was still moving, which in her opinion wasn't very safe. Normally, confrontation with this many peers involved would have stressed her to comply, but because so many others had initially voiced the same concern it gave her a bit of surprised confidence.
Carefully, she passed the camera back. "Patches, I can't. I don't think it's safe, and I think we should wait until we arrive. We could do one each, one on the carriage like Neptune said, and stage that we're still traveling, and one off." She took a breath, gathering every bit of courage, before addressing the rest of the group. "Is... is that ok with everyone?" She could almost feel her hear about to break out of her chest, it was beating so hard.

Xerxes blinked, staring at the chimera — Niamh, he reminded himself — and wondered if she ever took a breath between all her questions and talking. When she finally paused, he sighed and decided he might as well answer her questions. Ignoring her wouldn’t do any good, since it seemed as if he was going to be stuck beside her for at least the trip to Above. “I’m in Enoch,” he said, answering the first of her questions. He eyed the tea, in her hand, and watched as the steam wafted up into the air off of the hot liquid. “No thanks, on the tea. I’m more of a coffee person. Plus I don’t like drinking after others, no offence.” Xer let some silence settle between them, using the moment to look around at all the others that had joined them on the bus. So many different races and ages, he wondered why they had decided to come along on the trip. He even spied some races that were originally from Above. Had they been born in Below or were they just eager to see their home world again? Xer turned his attention back to his seat mate and raised an eyebrow. “So why did you decide to come along on the trip?” Lady Aria Starstone I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. OTL

Having been thoroughly lost in her own thoughts, Lillith paused longer than she would have liked before responding to the winged one who has just plopped down beside her. Smiling as she turned her body towards the brightly coloured student, Lillith extended her hand out in greeting, "I don't believe we have met, but I always love to make new friends. What school are you from?". Her curiosity was more than peaked by the girl, and she felt that it couldn't hurt to make friends. Lillith pondered how useful it might be to form alliances with others on the bus, depending on where the currently rather chatty carriage was taking it's passengers.
