The center wolf nipped at Moira's hand as she batted at its snout, growling and low. Barking and yipping angrily, moving closer as the center wolf pushed against her fist in contest as the inner two continued to howl and the echoing responses of howls only grew closer.
"Wolves?? Moira, there aren't any wolves on the island! Where. Are. You???" Kailani called out, not much closer this time as the outer two wolves barked at each other and both took off running toward Kailani's voice. The center wolf howled out as now the middle two wolves took off running just the same. Face to face with only the one large black red-eyed wolf, it stared down Moira before lurching forward to bite the lower part of her calf then took off running after the other four wolves.
It was quiet in the forest, the reminents of the sound of falling water as it paired with the sounds of rustling in the distance ahead of her.

Pushing back against the wolfs head as it pushed against her, Moira narrowed her eyes, growling a little bit before snapping out of it when Kailani shouted again. Looking up, she looked very confused, but her confusion quickly turned to a slight hint of anger as the center wolf bit the inside of her thigh, piercing the flesh and leaving a decent bite on her. Cursing under her breath, she started to move forward. "I'm over here!" Moira called out, cupping her mouth with both hands this time.

As Moira moved further ahead, there was silence before there was a large amount of rustling and a loud thud of something hitting the ground. There was a soft voice, maybe grunting and straining as sounds of vicious wolves biting and barking filled the air just ahead. There was a slight yelp of pain and not from any wolf it seemed.
Moira would begin to feel slightly dizzy as she continued forward, forcing her to a crawl as the surrounding area began to lighten to the point were she could see the trees and brush in hues of blue as the smell of metal and flowers filled her nose once more over the scent of rain and damp wood. She could hear the signs of struggle then silence followed by the sounds of something sizeable being dragged across the wet leaves.
Any attempts to speak would only produce yips, barks and howls from her now apparent snout. The trees parted just up ahead and there was a strong scent of blood in this area as there was a clearing in the middle of trees, the moon illuminating the area clearly. The only thing left in this area was a very small grey wolf pup with pink eyes that sat there with something glowing in its mouth as it wagged it's tail, staring up at Moira's massive wolf form.

Following the sound of the voice, Moira struggled forward, moving to bring a hand up to her head as she started to feel dizzy. Taking a moment, she shook her head before continuing on. Forcing herself to keep on going, even as she was brought to a literal crawl, she looked around at the blue tinted world, looking around in a confused manner. Trying to call out for Kailani, she took in a deep breath and opened her mouth "Awooo--" she suddenly stopped as she heard it, her eyes going wide, her right paw scratching at her snout. Whimpering slightly, she shook her head, now hoping that she had just passed out some time ago and this was now just a fevered dream.
Continuing forward, following the scent of blood, she stopped as she spotted a small grey wolf pup. Padding her way over, Moira tilted her head to one side as it looked the pup over.

The tiny pup wagged it's tail and leaned it's head down to let the glowing orange and red orb roll out of its mouth onto the grass. The orb making a faint chiming noise as it moved before the grey pup placed its right paw onto the orb and looked up to Moira barking excitedly. The wolf obviously wanted her to do something, keeping its own paw rested calmly on the glowing orb the size of baseball as the colors with in swirled and danced like fire.

Tilting her head the other way, Moira slowly made her way closer to the pup. Getting close enough to lean down to sniff the orb, she did so before lifting her head and looking down at the pup, looking very confused. After a moment, she looked around the area, then up at the visible full moon, then back down to the pup, hoping that it just wanted her to howl at the moon.

The pup barked excitedly again giving a very tiny raspy little howl for moment before pressing it's right foot against orb a few times then pushed it to roll towards Moira, the faint chiming noise emitting once again as it rolled toward her paws. The pup watched the orb roll and then looked to Moira again.

If she could grin, she would, at the adorable little howl that the pup let out. Stopping the orb with her right paw, she took in a deep breath and let out a long, drawn out, howl. Coming from her core, the howl lasted several seconds before it petered off, the sound of it almost similar to her voice, but a little deeper and much more animalistic, more like a sound she would make while in her fury.

As the orb touched beneath her paw, it began to glow a bit brighter until she began to howl. It was then it began to shine brightly with the intensity of her deep howl. The puppy joining in once more as it raspy small voice barely broke into the bass of its own voice. When the howling stopped, the glow died down and the orb was gone. The wolf barked excitedly again and spun around in a circle, wagging it's tail then sat down in front of Moira again.
"Wake up, Moira." the pup suddenly spoke with an innocent enthusiasm.
It was suddenly getting dark at an alarming rate until she could barely see the pup anymore.
"Hey, wake up. You'll sleep the day away at this rate.." a slightly deeper voice spoke, a familiar one.. Kailani's.
There was a ray of light that broke through the curtains of the small wooden cabin they were in. Moira was laid down in a bed covered in warm thick blankets as the smell of food filled the house. Kailani leaned backwards into the doorway of the kitchen to look over at Moira. "Mornin'!" she chimed with a smile as she was cooking up food from within the other room.
After a moment, she blew out the fire in the stove and placed some things at the table and moved toward Moira. "How are you feeling?" she asked with a gentle smile on her face as she sat in a chair near the bed Moira was in. The house was small but could easily fit two, maybe even three people. This home was much more up-kept and lived in than the one they had visited the day before.
As far as Moira knew, there was nothing different about her or Kailani than last night, the only difference being now there was a very familiar marking of a moon on lower calf near her ankle where she would have remembered being bitten the night before by the wolf.

Staring at the pup as it spoke, Moira looked at it in a confused way, tilting her head before she slowly opened her eyes to be greeted by the ray of light. Squinting, she brought her right hand up to her face and rubbed her eyes, groaning as she sat up, the thick blankets sliding off of her body. Sniffing at the food, she smiled a bit, looking over to Kailani when she leaned back to welcome her to the new day.
"Smells amazing.." Moira mumbled, smiling a bit, she ran her hand through her messy hair, "I'm feeling..pretty drained..and a little confused...and maybe a little gross." she chuckled, moving to swing her legs off of the bed, and stretching a little bit. "When...did we get here? I don't remember getting here..." She looked around the cabin as she spoke, rubbing her chin a little bit, as if unconsciously seeing if she was a humanoid and not a wolf.

Kailani smiled as she complimented the smell of the food. "It's almost ready, there's still something in the oven... If you would like to take a bath, there's one ready in there." she pointed over to a side room before fiddling her fingers through her own hair to slip some hair behind her ear. She tilted her head to the side as Moira asked how they got there and blinked slightly. "Oh... some time last night." she answered then laughed a bit, "It's not a surprise you don't remember anything... After you took the blessing of sana e' i' lith, Sigen said he saw you wandering off into the forest during the merende. He was really concerned since outsiders that leave the village never come back. He went with me to go look for you and I heard you yelling my name and something about wolves. I found you in the clearing howling like an animal then you passed out. Sigen brought you back here... to his house." she explained, looking away idly as she detailed what had happened the previous night. "Either the blessing of sana e' i' lith is not for everyone... or it wanted you to howl at the moon.." she smirked sympathetically. "Are you okay? Sigen said you might have just had a reaction to it so he went to get more medicine for you..."

Sitting on the bed as Kailani explained what had happened lastnight, Moira's face slowly grew a deeper shade of red as she moved her hand to cover her face, "Oh my god.." he mumbled. Eventually she started laughing, "I think I'll be fine.. I.. I'm going to go take a bath, though.". As she stood up, she sighed and made her way over to the side room, she closed the curtain behind her and started to undress. As she removed her pants, she looked down at her ankle and just stared at it. Moving to the tub and making herself fit, albeit awkwardly, she rubbed at the moon marking on her ankle, trying to wash it off, thinking it was something she had managed to get during the night, like a temporary tattoo.
"Why isn't this coming off...?" Moira grumbled, begging to aggressively scrub at the mark.

Kailani had set the table with food as everything was ready, a white crusted casserole with golden edges, large enough to feed at least ten people, a basket full of the fish pastries and another basket of the leaves wrapped in twine. There was several omelettes on a large plate with berries and hazel topped with spices and there was very large carafe of the same fruit-tasting juice they had drank before.
Kailani had moved just outside of the house as she could be seen from the window next to the door that she was talking to Sigen, her eyes shifted and her weight shifted uneasily as they spoke, an expression of concern clear on her face. Sigen looked to be concerned as well but smiling reassuringly at Kailani. As Sigen spoke again, he placed a hand on Kailani's shoulder and she narrowed her eyes then swatted his hand away. He seemed to sigh as she sat down on the steps right outside that lead up to the house and he turned and entered the house.

Once she had finished her bath and dried off, putting her still-dirty clothes on as she didn't currently have her other clothes with her, Moira opened the curtain and looked about the house, glancing out the window and watching the two interact. Letting out a sigh, she just sort of watched and half-waited for Sigen to enter the house, where she just waved at him. "Hey."

"'Quel andune...." he paused, almost forgetting she wasn't an elf. "Good Afternoon. How are you, Moira? It is but a miracle you were brought back from the forest alive. It is thanks to Kailani being very knowledgeable of the woods you wandered that we even found you." he commented, then moved a have to offer a seat at the table to Moira. "Are you hungry? Kailani is an amazing cook and her food.. it takes my breath away.." he smiled. "I am relieved that you are in good health, ebrath of my lirimaer.."
