Before darting past the demon in a practiced movement, sheathing her blade. It was the quick draw....But, as the demon fell, she lightly wiped the sweat from her brow.

Yuuki thought she was doing pretty well with her new Pixie friend, however, her next enemy was one a bit too much for them to face... Normally she would choose a different path/enemy since she knew her own capabilities, but it seemed the only way forward was through this foe.
"I shall help you... However" A deep voice said before getting a better look at the girl. "Hmm... I require a reward from you." Maybe it was because she resembled a small animal, something that he wanted to protect, but no matter the reason the demon decided that he wanted help her. And together they defeat the horrible obstacle, and as a reward, Yuuki followed Earthys wishes and hugged him
Could have been a worse request.

"...You see the surface, but my eyes see more..."He was still getting his bearings as she took his hand, but that familiar warmth holding his fingers gently, the lovely scent that tickled his nose, the feeling in his chest of comfort and affection that filled him when she was near...those he could remember clearly, even as he slowly came back to consciousness from the brink of the end. He struggled slowly to rise and reassure her, to wipe away the tears that threatened to spill onto her cheeks as she held him, but before he could fully restore himself she sensed something dangerous and rose, running off to protect him...and he had to follow her, he knew! More than a desire, it was an instinct that got him back onto his feet as he rushed to follow her, but as he neared where she had come he sensed something even worse nearby than the devil that she was fighting off with her Pixie (the sight of which twisted his heart a little)...something, like the thing that had nearly killed him as well. He looked in her way once...before apologetically dashing off towards the Textile store on the far end of the Downtown Strip, hoping that she would see him go and follow him eventually, find him...if he was still alive to find by then, at least. On the way he encountered a small horde of devils, but his haste made short work of them, as the sight of crimson hair and that terrifying aura disappeared into the Network nearby, just as he rounded a corner.
...And that was when he saw it, the kneeling, bleeding body of the silver-haired Senior that he had come to admire so deeply. He struggled, sinking towards the ground...but Genji caught him, holding him up as he summoned his Inugami to get to work on mending his wounds. He had to get back and find Minori quickly, but he couldn't let their leader die, either.

Fighting off the demons, at the cost of those mysterious tokens once more. Yet, as they dissipated, she could feel her body getting a bit stronger....And the demon she had out doing so as well.

Still, she bit her lip, seeing him struggle like that. She just...wanted to keep him safe. And so she went after him, finding him helping someone else. Someone... "Soji!"

Enough that a group of enemies got the drop on him...And he lost the earthen demon that had lent it's aid to him in what felt like so long ago.
"Well..you done it. Now I'm MAD." the boy called with a snarl, lunging for the demons with a scrounged crowbar, and started to bash their skulls in. Magnetite flowed like Blood, and after the scuffle, the boy slumped over in exertion.
"Dammit...I'm sick of this kind of s**t..."

"Say...Giant demon that wants me dead.." Nekura mused, twirling his fingers....as a spirit of water suddenly emerged, fusing into his body for a few moments.
"Are ya Thirsty?"
Tides crashed in, and Nekura cackled as the power of water seemed to be at his command, allowing him to drag the tough foe into the sea...and then slowly drown him, until Magnetite erupted from his body. Soon enough though, the water spirit left his body, and he slumped over.
