"It's not odd, it's early." Except that it was afternoon but he had just woken up and- "... and it wouldn't be you if you asked those things," he huffed out around his cup. Aodhan would not like him either if he was like every other person that was around either. God, why was he even indulging answering this? "Same height or taller than me. Not blonde. Comfortable in their own skin. Knows how to have fun." Aodh stopped at that point. "Just. Everything Rich isn't. How about that? Minus that I actually do like men, so that was pretty much the only thing he had going for him."

"It's not early.." He whispered behind his hand, winking, before he went back to plucking up fruit and dipping it in yogurt before popping pieces in his mouth. "Any school crushes? I'm honestly having a hard time believing you college years were as boring as you make them sound." He watched Aodh eat, reclining and bit in his chair and flinging a leg up under the table to use the blonde's knee as a foot rest.

Always with the double dipping, Jaro. Really? Aodh just rolled his eyes but continued drinking coffee. He would be back for the yogurt. "No?" Aodh sunk down into his chair as he admitted that. Not that he could sink much, Jaro had a foot on him. "They really were boring. I didn't do much beyond classes, training, and boxing. I just-" A hand was smoothed across his face. "No one was interesting."

"Well that's no fun.." His toes actually wriggled and then moving to scratch playfully at the other man's knee. "Now we can't swap stories." With Aodh being an adult they were suppose to share crazy sex or party stories. Wasn't that a thing?

Aodh turned red all over again. Right, like hell he would share stories with someone that he had had a crush on when he was a teenager and still kind of had a crush on. Also that toe scratching on his knee was distracting and not helping at all. "Is that- I know that's a thing, never mind. The only real story I even have is that now I've likely pissed off both of the Campbell twins."

Jaro's foot retracted, tucking under his chair so he could lean forward with interest, "Ohoho.. Tell me all about it." He picked up some sort of ham in his fingers and dangling it above his mouth before dropping in. "Mmm isn't twins like livin the dream or something?"

"You really are a dragon." Especially with how Jaro ate his food. Something about the way he let it dangle there and then put it into his mouth. Which brought attention to the other man's lips and- Nope, nope, nope. "There isn't much to tell. Rich you know about. Considering I likely broke his nose, he's not going to want anything to do with me." Not that Aodh cared, he hadn't wanted anything to do with him either. The other young man had never paid attention to him until he showed back up anyway. "... his sister Rose is still pissed off about my laughing when she tried kissing me when we were sixteen."

Jaro laughed, "You've got proper rivals now.. or arch enemies. And twins too. This would make a good movie. Now all you need to do is get a sexy boyfriend who's a thousand times better than both." He possibly spoke without thinking far too often because Jaro was pretty sure he'd give problems to anyone Aodh was interested in if they showed up. But it would be like a test... if they could survive him- the thought was actually not as satisfying as he thought. "So you never liked girls at all?" This time he took some of the eggs and put a scoop on a crusty piece of bread, "I personally just like people but I've always seemed to attract these.." He made a voluptuous motion, " very sexually compatible women who I can't stand by the end of the night because they're ******** divas. God it's been years since I hooked up with a woman.." Or anyone. Was it necessary to talk about how sexual it was? Yeah probably.

Aodh was not going to bother looking, no. Especially considering that even when he had tried he had just answered and paid attention to Jaro throughout all of it. What did that say about him? He was not sure but it said something. He was going after the fruit and yogurt now that it had been abandoned by the other man. That flush was becoming permanent, not quite sure how to not have it at this point. Aodhan had been able to keep it hidden around others, mind himself and his behavior, but Jaro always had a direct line to triggering a real reaction in him. His nose wrinkled up at the shape made with Jaro's hands. "No, I thought I might have but ... Well, there's nothing there? I've seen women that are good looking but they just-" Aodh shook his head. "They don't do anything for me. Nothing at all. I mean, I find kissing a girl laughable ... What's that say?" Still not sure about the entire thing about Jaro and women. Or Jaro and people in general but it was whatever. Not like the man was parading lovers through here like he had when he was younger. Also, no, not even thinking about Jaro and women. Ew."Somehow I just imaging you'd have to deal with one of them trying to steal something from the hoard," he snorted. Okay, not totally not thinking about it.

"b***h stole my earrings!" Jaro's voice rose in agreement and remembered annoyance. "I mean they were similar to hers but- jesus man. MY STUFF." Jaro shook his head and scarfed down his eggs and cheese on bread, before taking another drink of coffee. "So what're your plans today?" It was the weekend, which meant they wouldn't usually do more than text - if that- but the two of them talking outside of work had become so common at this point that they near constantly texted.

Aodh stuck with the meats and fruit and yogurt, not going near the eggs. Sometimes they unsettled his stomach. He snorted into his coffee mug, shaking his head. "Probably look better on you anyway than her." There was a roll of his eyes. It was true. Jaro wore his baubles and trinkets well, which had Aodh spinning the bracelet on his wrist idly. "Hm?" He looked up, clearly having been in his thoughts. "I've slept most of the weekend off apparently. I'm going to need to go home at some point." Which likely involved getting a ride from Jaro and then his parents would- Aodh's head thumped against the table.

Jaro chuckled, "I'll give you a ride if you want." Questionable pause and look. "And I'll even drop you a block away if it's less scandalous." He winked and chuckled and ate some fruit.

"I really don't care." His voice was muffled by the table. "People think whatever they want." They had for years at this point anyway but he just really loathed the idea of his parents criticizing him anymore about Jaro. It wasn't that they did not like Jaro, they did, but- Aodh was their son and parents always acted a certain way about their children. He raised his head back up, blush fading bit by bit. "I didn't have any plans. I was just going to sketch, see if anything came to mind. I've got to work the muscles in my side."

Jaro had some things, some pieces he was tinkering with. In lack of art to be done he'd actually started to fix some of the many little gadgets he collected. He'd done a few clocks at this point, currently working on an old pocket watch but hit was very old and some of the bits were tiny and he needed to make himself. It wasn't exactly exciting. Sitting for most of the day, straining his eyes, eating when he remembered and then sleeping when his eyes wouldn't stay open anymore. This was his life now except for the few times recently that he'd hung out with Aodh. He tilted his head a bit and smiled, "You never cared what people said about me.." It seemed partly a question, partly a statement. "Even if it was true."

Aodh looked over to Jaro, head tilting to the side. "Why should I? If it's true, so what? Doesn't change how you treat me or how we work together." His shoulders raised and lowered in a slight shrug. "Besides, the person that they talk about and the person I know? Not really the same thing."
