Well, this was going rather poorly already. Great. Annis goes over to Alex to help him, rescuing Rhys from Alex and setting him down carefully on tile 17. "Thanks a lot for earlier. Feelin' good as new." Annis smiles warmly. "Let's both be more careful, yeah? Me more'n you, we'll keep an eye out for you, same as before."
She glances over at Sunil after that, hands on her hips. "You want me to get up to those guys by myself? 'Sides, I don't really feel comfortable trying to play up sex appeal. No thanks."

Rhys was down on his luck as the platform he was standing on mysteriiusly vanished out of nowhere. "Oh no, please noooot agaaaaain!" Rhys frighteningly shouted. He instantly closed his eyes the moment he fell into the shimmering pool of water once more.
The next thing he knew he was splishing and splashing in the water waving his frail arms about creating small little waves from every angle. Last time he was fairly lucky to get out since the platform was close enough for him to grab hold onto, but this time there wasn't anything close for him to grab onto. He thought all hope was lost until he felt a mysterious hand reaching out to him easily pulling him and his entire body out of the water.
Rhys started gagging and coughing out water. He slowly opened his eyes rubbing them with his fists seeing Alex carrying him in his arms. ! "Alex... is that...you?" Rhys spoke quietly while still gagging out water at the same time. "Thanks for rescuing me, my friend." Rhys smiled happily. Suddenly in a matter of seconds he was swiftly carried away by someone else out of Alex's arms.
"Whoa!" surprised by this Rhys had a wide eyed expression on his face. This person however had a more softer feminine touch. His entire body felt something warm, he wasn't sure what it was exactly but it was a nice feeling especially after taking a swim yet again. He tilted his head upwards getting a good look at his other rescuer. This time it was the laguz raven girl from earlier. Rhys' entire face was flushing quite red. "You're... very... welcome and thank you too miss." He nodded his head. "Mmm, let's try our best to stay safe."
At last he was safely dropped by the girl onto the platform. Rhys realized that his blue under robe was now soaked and he barely took off his other robe not too long ago. Rhys began feeling gloomy taking a seat on the floor with his arms embracing his knees spacing out silently without a word. This was indeed not the priest's lucky day after all.

Aruna watched as Tibarn ripped that last revenant to shreds. "You need to turn down the testosterone, friend. Overkill won't help you win. H-Hey don't look at me like that!"
The nagini nervously scooted to space 4.

As Rhys is set down on space 17... ...a Light Rune activates! A barrier forms around around him, trapping him in place for 1 turn. As the others move... ...nothing happens!

As the reflection of the thief stops on space 36... ...a strange mist shoots up from a grate in the tile under its feet and surrounds it! However, it is immune to the mist's effects!

Sunil moves to E2. He equips the Beastrune for that extra 'omph' in his defenses and attempts to signal to the thief (since he seemed to be the boss of these robbers and all) that he wanted to try working together in order to make sure that they all get out of this alive.

Staggering and rubbing at the powder in his eyes, Tibarn moves to space 20. He turns them, bloodshot, toward each of the renegades before focusing them on Aruna, the nearest person, and he clutches his own arms, fingers digging in as he clearly struggles to control the rage from the drug in the powder.
"Gh... get... AWAY!" His lips curl as he warns Aruna, wings twitching violently.

Annis spins her knives idly across her fingers and around her hands as she moves to tile 23. She examines the switch there cautiously, looks across the way at Tibarn with Aruna, then over to the reflections. And... does not hit it. Gotta play this safe. She looks back at Rhys to talk to him. "Just stay calm, it'll wear off soon, Father." She smiled reassuringly, tossing up one knife and catching it neatly in the other hand. "Sorry about the bridge, by the way. We'll probably all need somewhere warm to sit for a while when this is all over." She neatly tucked her knives away again and fruitlessly attempted to push her hair back and away from her face.
