Strawberry MoonAshton was there on time, as always (she was always on time, more or less; it wouldn't do to be tardy), but -- well. Lily was there, too. She didn't want to be alone with Lily. So she...hovered, more or less, out of sight beyond a tree or two before other people finally showed up. That was better. Two more. The tea shop owner who she'd always been vaguely curious about meeting (it wouldn't do to be seen with a mystic, though, Ashton was a Practical Sort who cared a lot about how she came off to others -- needed to be scientific, needed to be realistic), and...Lucas. Lucas, who'd brought her into this whole mess in the kindest way he could. (It still elicited no sympathy.) But two more was enough. Ashton stepped out into the clearing, leaned against a tree, and raised a calculatedly-lazy hand in greeting. "Hey." She, also very calculatedly, didn't look at Lily.

Strawberry MoonIt looked like Jamie showing up last was becoming a trend, though beyond the normal bus delays, his own hesitation held him up this time. Honestly, he didn't want to go. Sure, he trusted his Pack, even if he was nervous about meeting the new recruit. He knew venturing into Other Ashdown was their only option, at least as far as they understood. Jamie was trying hard to accept everything he'd learned since the last full moon, but there was still a fear and reluctance to admit it was something he'd have to keep dealing with, monthly, for the rest of his life.
Slowly trailing up along the side of Lucas's truck, he stopped at the passenger door to greet Eve with a small smile and a wave.
"Hello..." he nearly whispered as his made his presence a touch more obvious, stepping out of the shadow of the truck. Eyes trailed along familiar faces before pausing on the only person he didn't recognize, but could only assume was Ashton. Who else would know to meet them there but her?
"I... hope everyone is, um, doing okay..."

When Lily caught sight of Lucas, she put her phone between her teeth and began to climb down gingerly, landing on the soft earth with a practiced thud. With one final look at the time, she slid the small device into a pocket and approached with a yawn, waving with a calloused hand to both the werewolf and the silvery woman in the passenger seat. "Everybody ready for our fun and magical family outing?" Lily chimed sardonically, her eyes softening as she saw Jamie close the distance. She went out of her way to meet the anxious teen, ruffling his hair once affectionately. "I'm okay-er now that you're here," she added softly, reaching for his hand and giving it a quick squeeze before letting go and returning to the group. For all that she wanted to be grumpy about waking up at the asscrack of dawn, she could put aside her griping for a moment to make sure Jamie was comfortable. She glanced at Ashton impassively, nodding just once in acknowledgement to the newcomer. There were so many things she could have said, so many things that had been left hanging the last time they'd spoken...and so to keep herself looking poised, she settled on an easy greeting--"Sup." Simple. Elegant. Indifferent. There was not much else she could ask for.

Strawberry Moon"As you wish," he replied in his most Princess Bride tone, quirking a smile at Eve. Perhaps for comfort - for her, for himself - or perhaps out of habit, he extended his hand to gently squeeze hers. Ashton joined them and the werewolf tipped his head to the other. Jamie joined not but a moment after and just like that, they were all there, safe and sound. For now. "Ashton, this is Lily, Jamie and Eve." He indicated each with his prosthetic hand. "Sunshine, Buttercup, mãe, this is Ashton." Lucas gave Lily a faint smile, following her lead to gently ruffle his fingers through Jamie's hair, brotherly in gesture. "Hey," he murmured softly, "you holding up okay?" His concern for them was undeniable, but he wouldn't focus on it, especially since they all seemed content to keep a distance unless it was absolutely necessary. Like now. Turning his grey eyes to the gathered, he offered lightly, "If you guys want to hold tight, I'll...go find our way in." He glanced at each of them before going to make good on his claim, scouting the area.
