Xavier took in a deep breath and exhaled with a smile as he shook his head in wonder at his friend. The boy was the most energetic thing he'd ever met in his entire life. Perhaps he slipped him a caramel as a means to quell that if only in good natured spirit. Xavier had felt pretty bad he'd hurt the other kid trying to help him...enough so that he actually leaned over to slip him a ticket. "Hey, sorry again about yesterday..Here." He carefully avoided getting too terribly close as the kid seemed to only freak out more..which admittedly made the jadeblood frown ever so slightly. He also left him with a piece of candy and a towel to dry off with before returning behind his booth. It was more to give him space and leave the other be then being rude. Xavier looked over to Autumn and her lusus with a curious look on the young jadebloods face. Leaning over he carefully passed her a ticket, along with smile. "He's really neat looking by the way. Does your lusus have a name?" He commented with a bemused expression, his freckled face appearing not far from the apple vat to peer at the grub creature, and the yellowblood with it. Booths open~!

Fellah had enjoyed the apple booth all throughout the festival, he wasn't about to stop now. Chit chatting with the kids in front as always, Fellah eventually found his way over to the barrel to dunk his head in and fish for the fruit.
Unfortunately, the redblood seemed to be having a little trouble sinking his teeth into an apple tonight.

Nictor Sabbat
Rounding off his booth trips, Nictor came back to Apples to Apples. He'd made a mess of the place the first day and overly soaked himself yesterday, but they were nice to him. And the candies and apples were nice.
Nictor carefully extracted the bow he'd won earlier from his hair and pocketed it before picking up a blindfold. Tying it over his eyes, he dunked his head under to try for today, careful not to create a big mess today.

Amonee dropped in to get some more apples. He was pretty hungry and it was nice to see Xavier and Valaon! Pulling his hair back, he bent over and bobbed for some sweet delicious fruit.
He got one! And a little water up his sniffnode the second attempt. Ouch!

If pretty much winning her glowling games hadn't woken Etsali up, dunking her face into cold water for apples certainly had. If she came away with a snack it would be worth it, though! The last ones she'd gotten had been tasty.

Arniva once again shoved her vicious maw into the water as it was a new day.... emerging with one, perfectly ripe apple. She was getting good at this, but the taste of apple.. was just.. bleh. Apple. She eyed the prizes, and thought back on the caramel paired with the apple. She knew she won a bobblehead, but maybe she could haggle? "HEY. Hey you. Yea, you shorty. Any chance I could snag some of that sweet stuff over there? I got both bobbleheads, and I got a really big sweet tooth over here... And despite me thinking everything having to do with fruit sucked, you've at least sorta proven me wrong. Maybe. I'm not FULLY convinced yet..."

"Thanks again for the other day." Nucleo smiled to Xavier and Valaon when he dropped by. That night would be a special memory to him forever, crying about his first quadrant experience and hanging out with friends. He wasn't afraid to be open with others about his feelings but it had been the first time he'd admitted something so personal before. He didn't know Valaon very well still but felt confident that she would keep it private. She seemed like the kind of troll that didn't mess around.
"Gonna try for some more apples!" The greenblood grinned and got to it! His first attempt slipped but another dive and he got one! Yesss!

Lutrin had elected to drown her sorrows. In the apple barrel. Her last interaction with Aerona had that effect. Instead of apologising and making everything better, she had left angry with her. Pushing all the other trolls out of the way, she dunked her head underwater. “UBWUBWUBWUBWUB,” she cried despairingly, her voice puncuated by the sound of bursting bubbles. Like her own bubble. Bursted.

Arniva dived into the water, legs flailing as she pulled out an apple. It wasn't as BIG of an apple as days prior, but she hit her mark. She went to the counter, ready to grab her prize. "This apple and.. uh.. that tan seed .. thing over there!" Mama Oook was going to be happy, at the very least.

Autumn took the ticket from the greenblood with a smile. “His name is Caterpal,” she said, watching the greenblood lean in close. The caterpillar sat up and Autumn's brow furrowed. “Cat, be nice!” she warned. It was too late though. The grub spat a stream of water into the greenblood's face. Autumn rushed over to collect him. “I'm so sorry!” she said, squishing the grub tight to her chest. He let out a dismal squeak. “He can be such a brat sometimes. Here.” Using the sleeve of her parka, she patted the greenblood's face dry. “My name is Autumn. What's yours?”
