Someone the girl didnt like; Aranea was becoming impatient but right now wasnt the time to show it. She wanted information and as the girl's mind was pliant enough to give it, inflicting pain would only cause the stream to dry up as it were.
'Someone came to you...told you where we were?' she offered, prodding at the Fey's memories.
'Their name. Please...tell me the persons name.' she purred, realising that she would have to re-inject the girl if she didnt pry the information out soon.

Muris blinked, her eyes looking almost back to normal, with most of the dilation gone.
"Uh...I don't know...?" she couldn't remember precisely why-- her mind was still pretty foggy, but she knew that she didn't want to tell this woman anything. Had she said something before? Hopefully nothing she shouldn't have...but she didn't think she had.
"No, I'm not sure what the woman's name was."

'Damn you,' Aranea swore, the thin line of patience snapping and she slapped at Muris's face. She would have to drug her again and after lashing out at the Fey got to her feet and stormed from the dungeon, not speaking a word to Lupinus at that moment as she left. She did not want to seem like she was failing and she rushed to her dungeon for another dose of the toxin. On her way back from there she recieved the mental distress call from Feles, she visited his chamber then hers and found the note, and stumbled into the wooded area to try and find him. She was no tracker, and realising that she needed help. she swiftly moved back to the dungeons, going over to Lupinus's side and motioning him away from the cell to speak.

Lupinus eyed Muris as she spoke about the woman, wondering if his suspicions had been correct. Well, it looked like Aranea wouldn't be getting any more information from her. He watched the woman storm off, and was just about to leave the dungeons himself when she returned. So she was talking to him again, hm? She'd been acting rather moody, he thought, as he followed her away from the cell. He stopped when they were far enough away that Muris could not hear. "What is it?"

'Something is wrong.' she spoke in a hurried undertone.
'Feles. I heard his mental distress call on my way back here. When I went to check his chambers and mine, I found a note from him saying that he had gone gathering herbs for me. I went out into the woods but could not find him. I need you to track him. I fear the Sun Court has retaliated for us taking that girl prisoner.'
She bit the inside of her mouth, tasting blood. If he was harmed... she wouldnt let herself dissolve into useless panic and she waited for the wolf Fey's answer.

What had that cat gotten himself into? If he couldn't take care of himself, he shouldn't have gone wandering off, and he certainly shouldn't have gone wandering too close to the Sun Court. Trying to impress Aranea with a gift wasn't much good if he got himself killed in the process. Still, the Sun Court could not be permitted to get away with this.
"We will leave immediately, then, and hope he is still alive. If not, we will send the girl back to them in pieces." He turned and headed out of the dungeons, motioning for her to follow.

Aranea nodded, swiftly locking Muris's cell secure again and following the wolf Fey.
'Where best to start?' she asked, as they moved through the Castle.
'All I know is that he went into the woods.'

Lupinus frowned, his mind running over possible directions. "What herbs might he have been looking for? Are some of them more scarce than others? If it is the Sun Court, he was probably heading in the direction of their castle. We can start looking for traces at the edge of the forest and head in that direction."

'I dont know. All I know is that he is out there somewhere. What I got was...panic, fear, and a general area. The woods.' she clenched two hands into tight fists, her nails cutting into her own skin.

The woods. It couldn't really get more general than that, but at least there was some kind of general direction to go in. "We'll circle the castle, then, and see if I can pick up his trail from the start." Moving for the nearest exit, he paused as they stepped outside to call his wolf to him; perhaps Comus would be able to pick up a scent he could not.
Finding what he thought appeared to be a footprint of a clawed foot, he pointed into the woods in the direction he thought most promising. It was almost an effort, to even remember Aranea was supposed to be following. Hoping the trail was as new as it appeared, he followed it as swiftly as he could.

She nodded, watching as they were joined by the imposing wolf. She hoped they could find some sign of Feles, every passing moment heaped more worry onto her. She followed without complaint, ignoring bushes that scratched at her bare legs, quietly following as swiftly as she could.

Lupinus followed the trail until it reached a meadow. The earth was softer here, and there were different prints made by someone heavier. He motioned Aranea closer and pointed to the bloodstain on the grass, and to the larger footprints leading away. "It looks like whoever it was was carrying extra weight." A bleeding Feles, most likely, though there wasn't much blood here, at least. "And it leads in the direction of their castle." He met Aranea's eyes. "How much will you risk to get him back?"

Was this his blood? She knelt by the stain and touched it with the fingers of one hand. Her eyes blazed as she looked back at Lupinus.
'Everything. My life for his if need be,' she gritted her teeth.
'The Sun Court will pay if they are behind this.'
Truthfully she couldnt think of any other party that could be responsible.

Lupinus hoped it wouldn't come to that kind of trade-off... especially as the cat would probably charge back in, and they'd both end up dead. "We have some leverage with the mouse, at least," he said aloud. "If we can get closer to the castle without being seen, we may catch one of them alone, and gain information. You heard his distress call before, is there any way you can reach him now?"

'We need to know whereabouts he is. Finding one of them would be our best bet if we have to..parley.'
