"Of course!" Triton nodded and smiled back, "So... I wouldn't worry all that much," Triton watched Sadiki.
Sure the kid was enegertic but all kids were, but at least she was saner as far as Triton could tell.
"So where is she staying right now?"

Were-Ah stroked Sadiki's long dirty blond hair affectionaly, "At'n mama's righ' now. Mama's the on'y othe'a person that'a she let's 'old s' far." she paused as Sadiki squirmed about, trying to make herself comfortable.
"'Ki don'na like'r Maw n' Paw none," she added absently.

"Don't like who?" Triton asked, even after all this time he still had trouble understanding every once in a while.
Somehow he had a feeling things were going to get more interesting than they were before.

"Hm? Oh, Maw n' Paw, Granma n' Granpa on'n mama's side." Were-Ah explained with a flourish of the hand.
Sadiki watched her mother's movement of the hand and she repeated the action awkardly.
"Gran," she said simpily.
Were-Ah giggled as Sadiki copied her. But she rolled her eyes at Sadiki's word, her daughter still had yet to find a word for male grandparents.

Triton laughed a bit, "I think you'll need to be careful in what you do Were, if she's going to be copying everything you do."
Suddenly he had a though, Were hadn't been giving her child a lot of sugar like she eats in the morning too? There was a scary thought.

Were-Ah nodded in agreement, "Uh-huh, got'ta be'er ca'ful wha'n I say's now!" Her eyes lite oddly for a moment but then they went back to there normal sparkle.
"I wond'a wha's ever'one gonna say? One'n of'em my f'ends sides ya see'd 'er an' t' put'er it mil'y, they was shocked'ed." she sighed, why did everyone she know have to jump to conclusions?
Sadiki yawned loudly and rubbed at her eyes. She pushed away from Were-Ah and padded over to Triton and started to poke at his shoulder.

"Do you need something?" Triton looked down, "Or do you just want to sit somewhere?"
He picked Sadiki up and put her on his lap before turning back to Were.
"Well the only reason why I'm not falling over... though I guess I should since I didn't expect you to adopt is because that's how all of us gain homes. None of the Nekos here have blood family."

Sadiki snuggled up to Triton and yawned again. Her lids starting to droop and her breathing became more even.
Were-Ah leaned back on her hands as she indulged this new bit of information. She had been really sure about any of the Neko history. So this helped in some way, though a thought crossed her mind that was troubling. What was she supposed to say when Sadiki asked about her past later? Well Que Sera Sera...
"Why's didn'a ya? Is'a I not'ta mama 'terial?"

"Uhm.... well," Triton thought for a moment as he carefully held Sadiki, "I don't know exactly. All I know, is that something happened where I came from, and so to keep us safe we were all sent through the portals, but we didn't come out at the same time. I was the first to come out along with Naomi. I don't know about my actual mother, I never gave much thought about it."

Were-Ah thought about this tidbit of information for a moment, she shrugged,
"Movin' on'n from that'a topic..." she paused again as she tried to think of something else to talk about.
"When's ya think'er that'n I could'a tell'er Daddy n' all'er them? Daddy pro'lly skin'er me..." she sighed again.
Sadiki sneezed in her sleep.

"Skin you for taking in a kid?" Triton gave her a look as he instinctively cuddled Sadiki to keep her warm, "At least you didn't become pregnant or anything like that."
He chuckled a bit.
"Besides look at her, he can't stay angry for long."

Were-Ah's grimace quickly faded, it was true, one could not stay anger at Sadiki for long. Not even Were-Ah mother could stay angry for long with her, even after the small blonde Neko broke a high dollar vase.
"Yeah, ya righ'. He'd get'er me'n mama fer not'a tellin' em." she shrugged. No one seemed to understand her father's insane temerpent.
Sadiki sighed in her sleep, she sounded content.

Were-Ah blinked and giggled softly, "Sowwy, f'got'ed t' men'ion that'a she doesn' that'a."
She crawled swiftly over to Triton and Sadiki and began to play with the hem of Sadiki's dress.
"Ya don'na wanna move'r cause'a if'n ya d' she'll sink'er them nails int' ya." she stated softly.

"Well, at least I was warned about the nails," Triton commented, "But she's going to get cold out here when the sun goes down."
And it was getting late after all. He just wasn't sure what to do now.
