(Okay Sunspot, you can have it. ilu ok.) Sunspot hadn't stopped talking since she'd arrived at the booth for another egg cracking attempt. "So I saw dad last night- ah, he says hello!- and we were talking and he was mostly checking checking in to see how we are all doing, except the other day he hurt his leg. So he was limping. He says it's nothing but you know what he's like so I thought-" She glanced down and fell silent. The egg had cracked perfectly. "D-do you see it?" She could hardly believe her eyes. "It's so lovely! Oh! I did it! I did it!" She did a little dance on the spot. "Pull, this one is for you."

"I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me, hmm?" Wild Green Stones laughed. "I'm too good at this to stay away."
Also, these eggs tasted good hot. The banana leaf only made them better, somehow. He smashed his down and took his leaf happily. "Thanks," he told the guy in charge. "Say, what do you do with those surplus eggshells?"

21 December14 to 30: your cracking was OK! Maybe bits of shell or lost white, but the yolk is intact. [2 tokens] Hmm why does this face look so familiar.. Why... It is Undertaker stopping by again...
Oh boy oh boy, the little doe licked her lips again at the thought of being able to eat another free egg today. This tribe is filled with unlimited resources so it seems, and well, she is slowly becoming a freeloader until the event is over.
"H-Hi, it's me again," she told the buck, blushing a little, "I um.. well eggy..." With a tiny acha hoof, she rolled another chicken egg toward the hot rock and cracked it within seconds.
The smell of cooked eggs lingered around this booth and it made her even more hungry than she already was. "Thank you for another meal," and she started to eat with joy.

((14 to 30: your cracking was OK! Maybe bits of shell or lost white, but the yolk is intact. [2 tokens])) Beetle the Bard dances up to the egg cooking station humming a cheery tune, drawn by the delicious scent of fried egg. Taking a leaf he settles it, carefully, onto the hot rock, then takes an egg and attempts to repeat the buck's technique.
He didn't do nearly as good as the buck giving lessons, but he did better then some. Only losing a bit of the whites, and it'll be a little crunchy, as he's unable to retrieve all of the shell. But the best part, in his opinion anyway, was unbroken. The yolk turning milky-yellow as the albumin over it cooks.
"Thank you, this'll make a great dinner." he says, collecting his meal and his tokens.

Mix found herself once more at the egg cracking booth. She had really liked the egg she cooked the other day, and wanted to perfect her technique. She patiently waited for her turn before cracking the egg as she'd seen before. It split a little better then last time, but it still looked like there were a few shell pieces in it. She frowned as the egg started cooking. She had to get better. HAD TO! She needed to be able to cook fantastic eggs! This was becoming an obsession. With the egg cooked, she started eating carefully and wondered if she could learn anything about cooking from the operators of this booth.

Quote: 14 to 30: your cracking was OK! Maybe bits of shell or lost white, but the yolk is intact. [2 tokens] Blood Singing Over Stone had noticed his sister, Waterdancer, wander off to another booth. He'd meant to follow her, after all what better thing to tease her about then frog kissing, when he smells something wonderful.
Following his Jose he finds a booth with a buck showing kin how to crack and cook eggs. Eggs are amazing. Very tasty things. And as he's never had chicken eggs before, not to mention forgot to eat breakfast, Bloodsong decides he'll give it a try.
After watching the buck crack an egg, Bloodsong takes a leaf, placing it on the hot rock. "Good morning. Been doing this long?" he asks the two running the booth.
Taking his egg he taps it on the stone, and notices nothing happens. So he gives it a second tap, this time cracking the egg more then he'd meant to. He gets a good amount of it on the leaf, losing only bits of the white. With a smile he notices the salamander keeping it hot licking up the spatters. From the looks of it the little flame creature has had a good run, evidence of many spatters on the ground.
He's so distracted by the little creature he nearly forgets the egg, pulling it off just as the whites start to brown a bit, the yolk cooked solid. Carefully, so as not to burn himself, he pulls it from the rock, giving the two a nod of thanks before collecting his tokens and heading off to find his sister. She'd probably like a bit of egg herself.

"Me again," grinned Wild Green Stones. He grabbed an egg without care and tossed it onto the leaf recklessly. Shell and white went everywhere, but there was surprisingly still a whole yellow yolk nesting on an...artistic bed of white when he'd removed the larger bits of shell.
He tossed the whole thing into his mouth, leaf and all, and left with a wink.

Back, (or course) for free food and a chance to get tokens as well, Blue Blood was really hoping to get a perfect egg, just once. His ego demanded it.Yet as he cracked the egg it was very nice, yolk perfect but alas, the white kept running and making oblong shapes. He was getting better though, so hope sprung eternal.

22 December2 to 13: your cracking was abysmal! [1 token]
Undertaker is back... But she seemed a little disoriented and took a wrong egg from the stash. And instead of dropping the egg carefully, she tripped over her own hoof and flung the egg onto the flat rock. "Oops.."

"Yes," said Wild Green Stones, disgruntled. "I definitely know what I'm doing." He'd already stopped by several times! That made him an expert. He banged his egg on the rock unceremoniously, grinning as bits of white and shell flew everywhere. "Looks delicious already," he said, although the white was still half-transparent.
When it was done, he yanked the leaf off to consume as quickly as possible. It was so much better hot, with that soft yellow yolk! Who cared about scalded tongues?

Quiet Companion stepped forward and listened to the instructions. It seemed easy enough. Nodding, she cracked open and egg and was pleased to see only a few egg shell bits got into the white. At least the creamy yellow yolk was still intact. Happily she took the treat and ate it. Yum!

14 to 30: your cracking was OK! Maybe bits of shell or lost white, but the yolk is intact. [2 tokens] Mouse had just gotten to the market, hadn't even looked at any booths yet when her belly started to grumble. Luckily for her the first booth she sees, or rather, smells, is offering eggs. And not just any eggs, but cooked eggs. Cooked chicken eggs. Mouse didn't even know chickens were a thing, having never seen one before. But eggs are yummy. And she's always up to try new things, even when she's not starving.
She watches the demonstration before laying a leaf on the stone, taking an egg and giving it a try herself. She didn't do it perfectly like the buck, but still her yolk wasn't broken, and there were only a few bits of shell in it. And some lost whites, she notices them burning into the rock, having splattered past the leaf.
"Thank you, I'll have to come find your shop after this." she says, collecting her winnings and her lunch.

Undertaker is here once again. Her face looked less sickly than she was yesterday. Today her appetite came back and her little tummy rumbled in hunger. Politely yet carefully not to step on others' hooves, the tiptoed her way to the egg pile and picked one up with her mouth. She sat at the very end of the hot slab and quietly dropped her little egg and watched it crack open. There were small bits of shell on it but that was fine with her. It was enough to feed her tiny tummy. And it was quite obvious that she is always coming back every morning to eat her free egg....

On Lily's return, she was sure to keep an eye on the egg supply. Hers was certainly much smaller than an acha's egg. That made it safe to crack, she thought.
She did so, careful to look elegant, and she pulled the shell away hurriedly, because she hadn't liked those bits last time. To her surprise...the egg that resulted was very, very intact. How lovely! "This is even better than the last," she told Best.
