It would splatter hard as the mud like substance would fall upon the Dwebble head from above like a harden muddy clump.
Hiro should have been furious at the hit, but his eyes were shining as he smiles broadly.
"You let me go first so you can hear my commands and then look for a weakness to exploit."
He would call almost excitedly.
"IF there is an hesitation or weakness in my pokemon's attack ...your pokemon are fast enough to take advantage of it even with my pokemon having the first move. Smart, so very smart."
"This is truly a battle among trainers, so I have find a way around it."
He was smiling hugely until the light stop the fight as their pokemon were pretty much stuff back into their pokemon in a move that he had never heard nor seen before. The boy's smile disappeared as he cries out as piss as possible.
"Hey who told you you can do that! DAMN IT!"
Then he looks over at Argyle, and he knew the boy had to be disappointed. It looked like his win, and it might have been too.
So, as the world's greatest trainer there was only one way to fix this travesty of justice. Though he wasn't sure if he heard him or not as he would move away. Thus, Hiro would follow after him quickly as he glares at him declares loudly.
"Argyle."
He hadn't wanted to call him by last name at first, but he beat the world's greatest trainer ...or at least he was beating him. Thus, he earn that from him in the least.
"That was your win, I am sorry, you didn't get the experience from it. Because, you should have."
He wasn't sure if he would shake hands or not, so, he simply stood shoulder to shoulder with him.
"Though next time, you won't win. I know how to break that strategy, and the next time we battle, both of my pokemon will be able to do it. So, keep this in mind, we shall battle again."

A dark, shadowy figure loomed behind Strominoff, a silvery blade glinting in it's hands. The creature raised the weapon... and stepped out of the shadows to reveal the Longinus Professor, Iris Harlowe. "You did that solely because my student was winning," she remarked crossly. She looked quite a bit different than she had at the beginning of the dance: some time between then and now, she'd elected to change into a magnificent purple ballgown and bore the signs have having been in her fair share of altercations. Fortunately for the cleaning staff, she'd managed to contain most of the blood. She'd had a good time... which was only slightly marred by Strominoff's decision to intervene between Hiro and Argyle's battle.
Oh well. At least she could pretend she was doing her job. Her gaze flickered over the two who had just approached the table. One she recognized... and one she didn't, but who claimed to be in her class. "Ah, the wandering child," she remarked, inclining her knife in the direction of Shiloh. She hadn't met the youth, but she still remembered he'd decided to go harass the Trickster professor. Not that she didn't find it funny, but...
She'd scan the folder she'd swiped from the stack, looking for the appropriate papers. Quick as you like, she gave each youth their respective lists. "You're to choose one, and only one, of the Pokemon on your list. Make your decision, tell me, and I will acquire your egg, as well as any rewards or gifts you've managed to earn." Spelling it out was sometimes the best option.
Shiloh remembered the last time he had met his Professor and she hadn't been happy with him as she regarded him as the wandering child.
"I wasn't wandering, I was scoping out the competition and seeing what the other classes had to offer. It's not like I was just lost or anything."
He grumble underneath his breathe.
He didn't like that title, not at all, but he would just let out a deep breath. He was trying to be a better person. He was trying to be a better person. He would tell himself as he was offer the egg of one of his pokemon on the list.
This didn't even take any thought. That pokemon had been a tank, and he wasn't turning down it's egg.
He would tell her quickly.
"My choice is the Spiritomb, also, since you are bring up items that we got on the trip."
Shiloh would take out the ruffled, bitten on, pulled at, box that contains the Slowking's prize.
"IF you can open this, I would very much appreciate it."
Harlowe quirked an eyebrow. Mouthy. Spirited. He'd certainly be amusing, if he made it back to her classroom in one piece. She gingerly picked up the proffered box, and with a gentle tug opened it. Perhaps he'd been pulling too hard. "Congratulations, she remarked, teasing only a little.
[Shiloh gains x1 Persim Berry!]
She'd place the berry right back in his hand before getting to the real meat of the situation. Like Strominoff, she'd kneel down and reach beneath the table. The void would provide, and within moments she'd be back on her feet, holding out an egg container with a Pokeball attached to the top. "Keep a handle on that ball; wouldn't want your little monster running off."
[Shiloh gains Spiritomb Egg! 50/50 non-battle posts to hatch, currently at 0/50]
But there was one more item of interest. The professor turned to the pile of packages, scooped one up, and placed in front of Shiloh. "Your Secret Sant gift." The gift hadn't been very well wrapped-- some of the paper crinkled back, revealing a purplish lump. Not a bad haul.
Shiloh gave the box as it fell open in her hands a glare of pure hatred. He had tried so hard to open and it was simple, but, at least in the end it was open.
A Persim berry.
Usefully indeed, all he needed was a water pokemon. Still the same problem, but much better over all as Professor Harlowe moved onwards and he ended up getting a poke egg with a pokeball on top. He almost smiled wildly, because, right now he officially had four pokemon. Though two were still in their eggshells as he would discover he was going to have to find another way of carrying both eggs.
He would readjust his Larvesta egg and would then place the container beside it in the tie of his jacket. Though it was actually the Eviolite that made his eyes nearly pop out of his head as he took the held item in his hands.
This would be extremely useful, because it raised the defense and special defense of a pokemon that is capable of evolving by quite a bit.
Shiloh would have to cough before he response back clearly.
"Thanks you. I will make sure to take good care of my little Monster, and I love my secret santa gift. So, does that mean you are my Secret Santa?"
He was kidding when he asked, but he couldn't help himself in that moment.
Alex nodded, looking at the list. Togepi? "I'd like the Togepi egg, sir." It might seem cute now, but trained right could be evolved two stages, and learn a large variety of moves. How he'd get said moves was yet to be figured out, but he was sold on his pick.
In response to the questions of the inquisitive Poppy, Professor Strominoff would look to his fellow teacher for a moment "If school still being under ssreatening, Harlowe not being here....or blood being....fresher" He said, eyeing the stains on his fellow Professor's dress as he handed Poppy a seed half the size of the girl's palm and glowing a bright green. One could only wonder what they'd done to this thing.
As for his 'comrade's' own comments towards him, the Professor would state "Vinning only vhen lahst blow striking. Before..." The man gave a shrug "...cahn going either vay." The battle had just tarted after all. Speaking of that particular confrontation, Professor Strominoff would now turn his attention towards Hiro, the boy who would be. "Hiro, please being picking Pokemon from list. Is gift" As the man said this, he would hand the young trainer of Pokemon for which he could receive an egg.
Hiro's Choices: Venipede, Purrloin, Tangela, Wurmple, Pawniard, Glameow, Bronzor, Scraggy. Professor Strominoff would then hand Hiro a pamphlet detailing the Arena Pass and Experience Seed. Apparently he wanted to get that out of the way now rather than later.
With that to keep Hiro occupied in the meantime, the Professor would then turn his attention to Alex. Nodding his head at the boy's decision he would take another cylinder out from underneath the table, the contents an unmistakable egg and of course a PokeBall attached to the top. Along with it the blue eye'd youth would receive a box, carefully made to look like someone had taken the time to wrap it, but in reality to the top just came off. Once Alex opened it he would be met with the smiling Visage of a Wailmer, its spout several times too wide, and a myriad of tiny holes in it's mouth. This was the famous Wailmer Pail!
"Also being picking one of ssese" The Professor instructed, handing out the Seed and Pass pamphlet he'd given the others.
[Alex got a Wailer Pail!]

"Thank you, Professor," he'd say with a smile. He got more than he expected. An egg, a pail, and a choice of a seed or a pass. "The arena pass sounds useful, I'd like that."
(How do eggs work? Tried looking it up in the info center but couldn't find it even in the breeding system.)
"Then I will simply devise a new strategy" Argyle would shoot back at Hiro, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. These words were howver followed by a more traditional bow....superiors were watching after all...and a far more polite "Until next time, Monsieur Azuma."
With that exchange completed, Argyle would turn his attention to a far more serious matter. Bowing at the correct height for one several ranks higher than one's self, Argyle would greet the blood stained woman in front of him without batting an eye "Good..." He found himself pausing. He wasn't actually sure what time of day it was. "...Afternoon Professor Harlowe" Once he was done, and having taken a wild guess, boy would stand perfectly straight as he browsed through the list he had been given "I will take the Tyrunt, if you please." It was true that Tyrunt had some rather...significant weaknesses...but he had his own reasons for wishing to acquire the beast.

[Alex. Please re-read the post. You don't get the Seed AND the Pass. You get one or the other, and you have to tell the Professor which one you want. Hence why he 'handed you a pamphlet' explaining how they work.]
[My apologies however for not explaining how eggs work. I'd meant to do that, but forgot, so thank you for reminding me.]
[Eggs are pretty simple. They have a Count of 50. This means you need to do 50 Non-Combat posts for the Egg to hatch. This is the similar to your posts when travelling through an area. Actually it basically means any in-character post outside of battle.]
[So for example that post you just did will count as 1.]
[And please remember to edit your post, not just post again because I'm not going to count that as 2.]
Karasu walked into the room. A fair amount of people were gathered and all three teachers of each class as well. He would glance around at students gathering around...a table? Feeling a bit confused, he would stand there a bit awkwardly and silently.
The Skarmory wondered what was going on. They had missed when there was an explanation about what was currently happening.

Alexander had lagged behind a bit before heading out and ended up missing the bit of a battle between the two students. While he missed that, though, it seemed he managed to make it in time for everyone's items to be passed out, so the boy made his way over to the table the other students were gathering at. Several large, colorful eggs were on the table in question, although it didn't seem any of the students were taking them. Likely props, from the boy's guess.
As he had been towards the end of the line, it took a bit of waiting, but once the female professor had arrived, things went a bit quicker as now two people were handling the group of students. Eventually, the line cleared enough for it to be Alexander's turn, so the boy went up to obtain his own prize."Alexander Ferro, Aegis class,"the boy stated, not because the boy necessarily thought Professor Strominoff might have forgotten him, but the two had only met once, and it'd likely be easier than making the man have to actually recall who he was out of however many other students he had. And, besides, he hadn't even met the other professor at the table, even though he did recognize her as being the one in front of what was supposed to be the easiest of the three paths.
Zander had not been alert enough to react to the prior situations. However, this time Zander's mind was cleared up. Whatever disturbance that was bothering the academy seemed to be gone for now. Zander sighed and took a deep breath, he was glad the Academy was safe now. He thought of the meadow he had been in, not too long ago, and hoped all was well there.
Zander's eyes stumbled upon a man. Professor Strominoff, if he wasn't mistaken. Zander was sure that this teacher would be his Aegis instructor and hadn't yet to introduce himself. Zander waited in line patiently, he certainly didn't want to miss out on these gifts.

Taking the seed in her hand, she contemplates what she'll do with it. Most definitely she'll want to plant it at some point along with her berry, but without a water type Pokemon yet to help take care of it, that'd have to wait. For now she'll just give it to Shinx to benefit from its power, and Mime Jr. when it hatches. Maybe there will be a chance for her to get her own Wailmer Pail later. Sticking the seed in her bag until she can secure it to Shinx, she grabs her egg container and carries it away from the table, making more room for other students.
Having dealt with other students, Professor Strominoff would turn his attention to Alexander...he could still do without the -ander. The boy had actually addressed himself, and hence would be taken care of first. This wasn't a place you could just line up an expect to be serves. The less observant students would need to learn the Professor's weren't mind readers...well...not exactly anyway.
Reaching into his sleeve, Professor Strominoff would pull out a list and hand it to the young Aegis student "Please being picking Pokemon from list. Is gift for good job" He said, smiling slightly.
Alexander's Choices: Lileep, Vanillite,
Next would be the two silent students stand before him. Sighing slightly, the older man would once again be forced to sift through the stack of folders he'd been provided, checking the file photo of each in order to identify the students. "Zander..." The man spoke the name slowly, looking skeptically at the boy in question before putting down the folder "Another -ander..." He continued, shaking his head for a brief moment. This time the Professor would pull the list out of the folder, handing it to Zander "Picking one" He directed. He assumed the boy had been listening and hence would have caught the gist from his directions to Alexander.
Catching a glimpse at the list however, Professor Strominoff would actually pull the sheet back. There was only one thing on it. No point in wasting time on a decision that wasn't. Reaching under the table, the man would retrieve an egg contained in a large cylindrical container and topped with a PokeBall "Is Tyrogue" He stated as he handed it to the boy, followed shortly by what could only be described as a large burlap sack "Is....soot...sack.....yes. Soot Sack. For collecting soot!"
[Zander got: Tyrogue Egg x 1! Soot Sack x1!]
All that was left would be Karasu. Obviously given the boy's....attire...he was a difficult face to forget; however seeing as he had failed like several others to state his name, the Professor would make him wait while he pretended to sift through the folders, checking photos and lists. When he was done, he'd place the folders back, slightly shuffled, and produce a list which he then handed to the boy. "Picking one" He said, as he had to Zander.
Karasu's Choices: Pichu, Pancham, Tyrogue
Once this task was completed, the Professor would also hand both Alexander and Karasu a pamphlet "For vorkings ahgainst Mew, special gift! Picking only one" He stated. Zander of course would be left out of this. He hadn't been around for the final battle. [Arena Pass: Allows one to battle/train beyond the 3 a day limit imposed by the Mirage Arena.]
