Lilan looked forward to this class, mostly for the physical aspect. Being a dancer, it was important to him to keep fit, and exercise regularly. He'd learned also in this class that stretching was VERY important, especially for dancers, who needed to be limber and agile. It would help keep him from injuring himself, too. He followed the movements that the teacher performed, taking the act very seriously, and managing to do a decent job at it. He had some wobbles, and a few moments where he couldn't fully reach the motion, but he was able to get a nice stretch from the routine. The Litch felt nice and loose afterwards, his body relaxed, muscles no longer tensed up.

Admittingly, Ebi wasn't the most athletic Nightmare. Sure he ran around and swam all the time--pretty well at that--, but he had only now learned the ways of stretching. Like the others in his class, he followed the instruction their teacher gave them, reenacting the moves, but struggling to get the proper stretch they were supposed to provide. He fell on his rump a few times, and could barely get his limbs to move the way he wanted! Clearly he'd need some work on it...

Seray was not fond of this class but when he was told he was to do a crossword puzzle and not have to preform any physical task he lightened up and gave a sigh of relief. Pulling out his multi colored highlighters he beagn to color code his crossword puzzle giving each one their own color as to make it easier for the teacher to check that he did infact find all of them. The task was completed thoroughly as well as quickly and he sat for most of the rest of the class admiring his work.

Jaden moved slowly and with great care. He was of two minds about stretching. On one hand it seemed to take a while, and some of the positions were hard. But he also had wings, and a lot of the others didn't. He had to work more to balance his weight correctly, or sometimes a stretch pulled at his wings in a way that wasn't comfortable. He also wasn't sure if he should stretch his wings or not. This wasn't flight class and it made him feel self conscious to spread them out, but Kirket said to stretch all of them so shouldn't he include his wings anyway? Still, when it was all done and over, Jaden couldn't help but admit his body felt a lot more awake and ready to move around! [quote"nepsah"]

Essei thought it was best to do stretching in a natural way, so she worked up a yawn and went with it, reaching up up up and fluttering her wings to stretch her whole self out. It felt pretty good. She flexed her shoulders to work her wings a bit more and yawned again, stretching out in front of herself. She didn't bother to pay attention to how her fellow freshlings were going about it, she just went with what felt good to her, and this felt good. She yawned a third time and wiggled, then bounced on her feet. She felt energized now that she'd done all that yawning and stretching!

Tobias hated this class. In other classes, if it wasn't one that demanded he speak, he could avoid drawing attention to himself, but PE wasn't one of those classes. Even if he never said a word, he knew he was being looked at. Now he had to stretch? He looked around nervously, but everyone seemed to be focused on their own movements. Maybe if he was careful no one would look at him. He stretched carefully and with small movements, not really liking or feeling that he wanted to move at all. Even when he had finished, he still felt pretty tense, since he wouldn't, couldn't relax enough to become limber.

Thian wanted to hate gym, but over the course of his schooling he had grown to quite enjoy it. Over time, running around had made him noticeably stronger, and since being sickly had been a constant feature of his infancy, earning the right to strength made him feel powerful. In addition to testing his balance and speed, this class had also taught him the importance of stretching. It was all too easy to recall his early attempts at athletic activity and how much unnecessary pain he had put himself through in his haste.
Still, some days the demon's impatience won out, and today was one of those days. He hurried through his stretching, focusing on his legs most of all, and within minutes he had declared himself ready to play. Odds were he wouldn't get hurt anyway, or at least he tried to convince himself of that.

Stretches. River scrunched her face up for a brief second, washing over it with a polite smile when Kirket glanced her way. She wasn't.... athletic, really. She had no interested in stretches, or laps, or anything really physical. She much rather be reading, honestly, and this just got in her way. Sighing, a hand reached up to ensure her bun was secure before she moved to a secluded corner, slowly lifting a leg to begin her stretches. A grimace crossed her face as it seemed to ache in response, but she slowly managed a few stretches before letting out a soft whine of frustration.
"This is not pleasant...." She muttered under her breath as, eventually, she just gave up. Whatever.... math was next, and she was good at math.

The Fallen was particularly thrilled when he found out that there wasn't going to be anything physical today. If anything, little mindless tasks like word searches was his favorite part about this class.
When the word search was handed to him, Esrael looked it over, eyes gleeming, this was going to be the easiest task ever! The Fallen quickly got to the task at hand.
Esrael looked over the word search multiple times to make sure he had gotten everything correct. Once he was finally satisfied with everything he walked over and handed it in, extremely proud of himself. Who knew that word searches could be so hard? He sat there quietly at his desk looking through his health book. "Looks like it's time to study the health pyramid now...!" Esrael whispered quietly to himself as he intently studied the book.

Citali absolutely dreaded doing anything that required to much energy. She was quite happy just curling up somewhere with a good book. So this class was her most hated class. Shuffling her feet, she slowly dragged herself into the class and awaited the assignment to be told. You'll be getting a word search to complete! The goblin almost didn't realize what the instructor had said and had to double check her paper when it was dropped on her desk.
A word search? Nothing physical at all? She wouldn't have to do anything that made her look like a fool in front of everyone else? What luck! Grabbing her purple pen she quickly started scanning over all the letters, crossing out each word that she found. It didn't take long for her to finish, and when she did, she pulled out her latest book that she was reading and continued to read until the end of the class period. This was the best class period yet.

Oo, stretching? That was good. Evey was really glad that PE didn't involve throwing a ball around or kicking or something. That sort of thing was...not easy for someone like Evelyn. But luckily, they were starting off with stretching. Stretching was that thing that Dada did first thing in the morning when they got up. Or at least, that's what Evey had thought. Nope, it turns out it was a lot more complicated than that.
There were just so many moves! Evey kept up as best as she could, and she did pretty good. By the end, she was starting to lose count--but there was a smile on her face. This was actually--fun?

Stretching? Well, that didn't seem so bad. Lillian had never done stretches before, and she didn't think she'd be able to reach her toes as easily as their teacher did, but it actually was a lot easier than she thought it would be. She thought she did a pretty good job of following alone with the instructions, and by the time they finished, she was ready to run around for PE class--or...whatever PE was all about?

Oh thank Kegebroth they weren't running today. Yaviss was just not in the mood for that. Instead, they had a word search. Word searches were okay. Yaviss fished a green highlighter out of his backpack and worked on the puzzle. When he was done, he went to work on his math homework.

Dogs might be good at running, and wolves as well, but this Grimm was not a runner--not by a long stretch. Wyrdda was an artist, not an athlete, and found she had to take frequent breaks to walk for a while to ease her burning throat. She did manage to finish one lap at least. Pitiful, but it was about all she could handle. She collapsed on a bench, panting hard, and chugged from her water bottle.

Oriset considered the possibilities for running and settled on a strategy--find one of the athletes, run along behind them, and walk only when they walked. Matching pace, she was confident she would do well. And indeed she did! By the end of period she had run six laps, the maximum they were to do. Sure, she was panting hard, and struggled to breathe, and she was desperately thirsty, but hey, she'd survived PE! And she'd done darn well. She practically dunked her head at the water fountain. Water in the mouth, water on the mouth--all practically the same at this point!
