Clenching her eyes Ritsa took another coin from her section and plunked it into the machine. There had to be some way to get enough coins to survive this mess. All the ways she calculated... she would be dead before making it out. Pulling the lever again, she could feel her heart gripping tightly. Another ping of success. Her fingers vibrated, the more success she had the higher the chances of her loss.

Ritsa felt her fingers plunk another coin into the machine, it wasn't so bad. She had succeeded the past two rounds, gaining a minimal amount. At least until this point she hadn't lost anything. Swallowing hard she pulled the lever again.

Three success in a row. Each time there was a ring of success Ritsa felt a little less worried. Reaching out she plunked another coin into the machine. Closing her eyes as she waited once again for the ringing sound. Success again, only this time it payed out a few more coins. Ritsa sat back for what would be her final attempt at the slots.

Benji headed to the slots first. They seemed pretty easy. He pulled and got two matching numbers on his first try.

Ritsa felt like crying as she sat in front of the machine. Her numbers were so high and if felt like they were only going to be climbing from there. Picking up another coin from her pile Ritsa whimpered as she placed her hand on the lever for the final time. And even though success rang, Ritsa found herself looking down into her hands. If this was the increment she could expect, she was certainly looking at death.
