Satuo Arrancar #40 Satuo looked out at the desert sands as he sighed softly as he looked around. He blinked as he felt the weird gem in his jacket pocket get warm, and took it out of his pocket to see what was going on. He blinked as the shard of stone shattered and turned to dust in his hand after he managed to get it out of his pocket, and watched as the dust slowly drifted through the wind after much of it absorbed into his skin and clothes. He coughed as some of the dust was blown into his face, and felt his ears shift as he wondered what the hell happened. He swayed softly as he felt dizzy, and sat in the sand on his rear end before lying on the ground and stared at the sky as he felt his body change, slowly falling asleep.
Satuo looked around as he found that he was in a house of some sort, thinking to himself as he walked to a table, 'I'm asleep, none of this is real..' He stared at a piece of paper labeled "English practice" with his name partially covered by a second piece of paper next to the line "write your name in English." He tried to shift the paper covering the answer and sighed in disappointment as he found that the only clue he was given was a badly written letter "K", followed by a blank piece of paper. His attention was diverted when he heard a door somewhere open, and walked to the source of the noise as he wondered what was going on. He stopped and stared as he saw an older woman enter from outside and lock the door. He couldn't help but stare at the dark haired woman that was in front of him, before this, her entire head had been obscured by a dense fog. He walked toward her as she sat on the floor on her knees, and winced as a white light enveloped him.
Satuo would wake up and reach his hand up to the sky as he tried to measure where the moon was in the sky. He slowly got up as he figured that he had been asleep for about an hour, and looked himself over to find that nothing much had changed. He blinked as he noticed a spot on his arm itched, and moved his jacket sleeve to find the number 40 on his arm. He put his sleeve back as he wondered what that meant as he began walking. He stopped as he heard a feral hollow roar at him, and quickly turned to find that it was keeping it's distance away from him. With that in mind, he looked himself over, before looking at the large building in the distance. He had heard the name of the building from passing hollows, Las Noches. Only arrancars could walk in or out of the castle like structure, and if his theory was correct, the number on his arm would be his ticket to get inside. He remembered that there was a dark section before the castle where stronger hollows trained, he figured he should stop there to learn a few things before going to Las Noches. [-exit-]
The large portal would rip open in the sky of Muchos, and out would step a monstrous man himself. His vivication slowly sealing away as his crimson spear reformed in the reishi rich air before him. Angrily, Ulric would snag the weapon from the air and toss it, along with the golden spear into the ground before erupting into a howl. "She had to show up!" After a bit of a howl, the man would slick his hair back once more and let out a sigh, "I will have to win my allies back it seems. Since they were more loyal to that shell than me." With a single step he clears the distance to his spears before taking hold of them letting his black reishi wrap around them like leather before placing them on his back. The large Hollow male would take a deep breath before he cracks a smile once more, "Least I have one more card up my sleeve to win over my little girl. I also know her deepest desires as well." Ulric would laugh softly as he then begins to move calming, practically through the shifting sands of Hueco Mundo.

Welp, that was incredibly fun for the pint-sized slasher. Having murdered more elves than she count, not saying much since she can only really count to ten. Hahaha, the elves wouldn't be forgetting that bloody nose anytime soon. She guffah'd, clutching her sides as she ran directly into Ulric and landing on her rump as she bumped off of the solidly built reibesta. "Buh! Ouch!" She exclaimed as she fell, rubbing her rear and nose. She looked up with tears in her eyes as she realized who she had just run into. "It's you! The dragon!" She yelled, jumping to her feet and throwing her hands into the air. She had nearly forgotten what had happened on the Bifrost.
xxx Loriel followed suit behind her sister. Slight smirk on her face from watching her sister revel in the destruction they'd caused and the feast she'd had. Loriel held out a hand, opening her mouth to call out to her sister who she now realized hadn't noticed she was running straight towards the newcomer. She closed her mouth as Lyndal collided. "Watch out." she said with a stifled laugh, the corners of her mouth turned up just a millimeter as she did. It was then that her sister began to speak of the dragon again. "Ah, yes. What do you know of your origins?" Loriel would question with a raised eyebrow, her face otherwise as stoic as ever. She was . . . curious about this man's appearance.

The silence of the never ending sea of sand would be broken as a Garganta once more opened and out came the twin dragons, Loriel and Lyndal. Despite knowing truly knowing either of them, due to even Ronan's lack of interaction with the siblings, Ulric would take a few steps in their direction. A wicked grin forming as he hears the little one referring to him once more as a 'the Dragon', though once more did he have no idea what she was referring towards. Perhaps due to his short encounter with the Silver Maiden, the Black Beast now knew his memory had been fragmented. Still, he walked around the pair eyeing them over as the older one asked if he knew of his origins. "All I remember is being of, or below, these very sands..." The tall, toned male would push some of his hair from his face before looking at the two once more, "How bout yourselves?" He would state as while moving his hands to his hips, the armor on the beast did not have pockets but his hands were placed were they would normally be. The duel spears resting on his back, wrapped in black cloth and leathers. "I would like to get more familiar with you two as well?"
That is when a voice would thunder into his head 'I am the monument to all of your sin!' causing the Black Beast to place his right hand to his temple. No other motions would reveal the pain the male felt as he received the message, though his body would start to heat up from within. 'Do my bidding. Spread the necro-fire and reduce the worlds to ash!' The voice would echo once more as an odd fire was stoked within the Black Beast. "No!" He would stand up straight while looking to the sky, "I am my own master!" As he roared out a strange fire burst from his mouth into the sky before flickering out with out its fuel source. Ulric would only wipe a few charred ashes from his lips as he looked to the girls. "Pleasantries are over...It seems I must teach...Something a lesson first." The male would feel a strange power, a strength, pulse through him now that the infection had be ejected from his body. "Perhaps you two would like to follow me along?"
Chisato roamed Muchos. It had been some time since she watched the battle between the two hollows and offered a chance to become more powerful. She didn’t trust the female though. Why would she? Chisato had witnessed the fight. No, she would roam, looking for her own way to get power. Even if it took her a long time to find what she was looking for.
A strong presence freed Chisato from her thoughts. She wondered if there was another fight about to break out. She turned her head to the direction of the power, realizing it wasn’t just one power source. It was three. She cocked her head t the side before crawling her way into the unknown. As she forgot closer, one of the power sources felt familiar to her.
“What is this?” she asked herself as she began to shake a little. She normally wasn’t afraid, but this feeling was familiar to her. She wanted to know who it was. She made it over the hill until she came across two female hollows and a male. She watched from a distance, observing the surroundings.
Something was wrong on Earth, a power radiated the air, even in the Heuco Mundo, so strong he could practically taste it. "I think I found it girls." He would state before brushing a hand over each of their cheeks passing to them a bit of the cure in his Reiatsu, "Stay safe...I have business to take care of." He soon ripped a hole in the sky with Garganta, before scanning back over the dunes, "I can sense you way out there. The point in remaining hidden...but I will be back later to deal with you." The large male Hollow would then disappear into the darkness of Garganta heading towards Earth.
From the depths of the darkness came a soft voice. It was one of worry, that something was scaring it. A soft cry of help, and then the soft thundering sound of feet against the ground. As the voice grew louder, so did the sound of the chase. The Garganta itself began to shake, wobbling back and forth impatiently. It took a few more moments, but it came so fast that Yuu didn't know where she was when she stepped out the black hole. The thing immediately closed itself behind her, keeping whatever it was chasing her in where it had been. The girl came out in a hurry, still running. Her long, white hair flowing behind her, kimono fluttering in the wind. Her eyes closed suddenly as they were greeted with a bright ray of light, meaning she was somewhere darker than this. She put her hands in front of her, as to shield herself from hitting anything. Her clumsy self still ran, not stopping because she didn't know if the thing behind her made it through or not. When her eyes adjusted to the light, she put her hands down, but couldnt stop herself from the large drop off in front of her. With a loud yelp, Lillian tried to dig her feet into the sand, but found that she couldnt and started to stumble over herself. It was such an awkward sight, like a girl wearing heels who's ankles couldn't handle the weight. She had been running so fast, she was stumbling at the same speed, and tipped over the sand dune. She knew she was tumbling down the dune, her body flipping here and there, upright, upside down, left, right, diagonal, whatever. This continued until she hit the floor at the bottom, breathing hard on her stomach. She laid there in silence, her head extremely dizzy from the fall that she she rubbed her head. Suddenly, she sat up, and looked around whilst saying," Where am I?" she mused, returning to her feet quickly. Yuu had been stuck in the Menos Forest for so long that she practically didn't know where she was or when she was. Her sense of time was nonexistent, and she could barley make out the images around her. For now, she saw: sand. Sand sand and more sand. So much sand that she wondered if there was anything more than just sand and a few barren trees around her to begin with.
Chisato didn’t know when her shell started to become hard, or when she began her transformation. She didn’t even know what she was transforming into. Was this the power she had heard about from the hollow she had met so long ago? She didn’t think so. She didn’t have the requirements to become an Arrancar. So, what was she turning into?
She lost all track of time as she began to morph, taking on a form that she wasn’t familiar with. She had been this primitive beast for so long, anything else would be new to her. Luckily for Chisa, the morph would be short lived. She felt something move her hardened shell, almost like something had fallen on her or hit her. Either way, her shell began to crack. The cracking of the shell was deafening. Chisato didn’t like the noise as the cracks ran down the sides of her temporary prison. The cracks gave Chisa room to move a little. She began to move within her shell, making the crack bigger until she was able to free herself. She pushed through the hole at the top until her back came out completely.
She blinked as the light hit her eyes. She hissed a little as she looked around. She was still in Muchos, that was for sure. She looked down at her new body, a smirk crossing her face. “To whom do I owe the pleasure of freeing me form my cocoon? Was it you, girl?”
Yuu stared up at the woman, wondering how someone so tall could come out of a small cocoon. She kept looking, trying to see if she banged her head a little too hard on that rock she might have fell on. Previously, she was startled when the rock began to move. It wasn’t until the tracks widened enough Yuu could see it was not a rock she landed on, but someone’s cocoon. Deciding to slid off of it and try to sneak away, the female tried her best to climb the sand dunes, but failed miserably. The loud crack that came from the shell was loud, but not deafening. Sure, the sound startled her, but it was nothing more than just a cracking.
So here they were: Yuu was looking at this woman, the woman was looking at her, asking who she was,” Um… I think you came out too early.” She murmured, pointing at how moist the inside of her shell was instead of dry and hard like it was supposed to be. A monitor beeped, and based on her readings, Chisa had only absorbed 90% of her nutrients from her shell before being released. She was basically…a premature baby. Yuu then looked around, making sure that no one was within their vicinity.
“ Yuu. I didn’t mean to interrupt. I fell.” She explained, gesturing to the high sand dune, and the sudden drop off at the top. The female rubbed her nose, and shut her eyes. She sneezed. Too. Much. Sand! She couldn’t live in a place like this. It was so annoying, and so devoid of color and life. Sure, other hollows were ”living beings,” but they couldn’t be compared to real plants or more entertaining and beautiful things.
Chisato looked over her new form that seemed to be covered in an unusual slime. She took a step out of the cocoon and into the sands. She frowned as the sands stuck to her feet and legs. She would need to find a water source to get the slime off her body. Sighing, she turned back to her husk.
“It would appear that I did,” Chisato said, running a hand through her hair. “It must have been a hard fall to be able to crack my shell and awake me like that…” Chisato turned to her companion and took a few steps towards her. Chisato tilted the girl’s face up to get a better look. “You are just a base hollow, but you have potential…” She removed her hand and looked around. Something wasn’t write. She felt a voice from no where speak to her. "Listen to me. I am a monument to all of your sins." It spoke. "Do my bidding. Spread the necro-fire and reduce the worlds to ash."Was this the reason the other hollow left? She growled as she shook her head. “Yuu was it? I might have awakened prematurely, but it was probably for the best. Something is going on… Something I need to stop.” Chisato raised her hand and opened a Garganta. “I am Chisato, Third Espada and Queen of Shadows. If you want to become more powerful, follow me.” Chisato stepped into the portal. If Yuu followed her, she would exist at the Open Plains.
The hollow gleefully followed suit after her. Despite having just met her, it was better than being alone, running away from larger, much more powerful enemies that she had yet to understand. Yuu was praised, and so Yuu will follow. The Queen of Shadows went through a Garganta, something she had yet to fully master opening it fully. She could summon one, but it was unstable. The female stepped into the Garganta, and into another region.

She sat down the sand and slowly ran a finger in a circle through the powdered remains of other hollow masks. Hmm. Lyndal briefly contemplated whether or not she wanted to follow Ulric to Earth. Would it be fun? No, she didn't think it would be. This whole war thing wasn't nearly as fun as the destruction they wrought on the elves. That had been truly fun. The screaming. The crying. Flesh burning and the forests being reduced to ash all around them. Ah, that had been good. She fell back, laying down and splaying her arms out to the sides. Lyndal looked up at the dark sky with her pearly blue eyes, then shifted her head to look at her lovely sister.
"What do think we should do sis?"

Satuo Arrancar #40 A black crack in the sky would appear near ground level and slowly branch out like an infected wound before snapping open, allowing a burnt Satuo to enter the sandy plains. He would look around as the portal from the human world sealed shut behind him, leaving a black scar in the sky for a few seconds before fading into the wind. The flames on the neko's head had almost gone out as he stumbled through the sand, breathing hard as he put a hand over the burn in his chest. He briefly wondered how he didn't instantly die from the EMP, and chalked it up to luck as he stopped to rest. It wouldn't take him long to fall to be sitting on his knees as he went into a coughing fit as his hands went on his stomach. He watched as the coughed up blood turned to lava, leaving droplets of glass in the sand. He tilted his head back a bit as he shut his eyes, his ears folding back to be flush against his head as he tried to get air into his bruised and scarred lungs.
He would slowly open his eyes as he noticed an odd feeling, and stared as he saw strings come from his body. He reached out with his left hand, and blinked as he felt his hand brush against the string, muttering "what the hell?" as he watched them drift in the air. He would reach out his hand as he thought of wrapping them around his arm, and felt his ears twitch as they followed his thought. He hummed as he felt a cooling sensation, and had the strings wrap around his chest as he muttered "it can't do any worse." He blinked as he felt his breathing get a bit better as and odd sensation went through his chest, forcing him to sit still as he felt his ribs shift softly and silently hoped no one would come by to finish him off.

Chisato frowned as she came across the Arrancar that had attacked Yuu in the Open Plains. This guy had some nerve to appear in Hueco Mundo, even though this is where the hollows lived. He was weakened, however, and Chisa didn’t feel like finishing him off would be the “right” thing to do. She frowned. He was infected, so she had to cure him, right? She emerged from her shadow right in front of the Arrancar, her arms across her chest.
“What do we have here?” she sneered. She really didn’t like the look of this guy. The infection made him look horrid. “It looks like someone needs to be cured. I can help with that.” Chisa gave him a smirk, like killing him would something she would be more than happy to do. “Unless you don’t need my help. Then I would just have to sure you anyway. What do you say? The easy way or the hard way?”
