Isabella Kiyoshi Squad 4 Soldier Isabella blinked and paused for a moment as she felt Tomoko activate her bankai. She was brought back to the issue at hand as she noticed a hollow charging a cero and quickly fired three shots of electricity into its chest after quickly looking down the scope of her gun. She noticed a familiar reiatsu enter as she glanced back at the group behind her as they continued to quickly get patients out of the tent hospital and swore under her breath as one of the people in her group was hit by a cero that glanced his neck. She quickly rushed over as two squad eleven soldiers took her spot and threw on a pair of gloves to apply pressure to the cut on his neck and swore again as she found the small "glancing blow" had actually been fatal. She let up pressure as she saw there wasn't anything she could do as she held his hand, whispering "I'm sorrry..Goodbye..", and shook her head as he passed away. She got up as she shut his eyes and motioned a medic over as Lucy made it to the temporary ops center/hospital.
She threw away the gloves as she looked at the other girl, pushing the urge to hug her down for now as she was asked what was going on. She glanced back at the dead medic as he had a tarp placed over him as she reported "the Jokaisho pillar activated, which attracted a bunch of hollows. If I'm feeling the air correctly, Tomoko-san from squad eleven has her bankai active due to a vasto lorde being somewhere in the battle zone. Both squadrons have taken casualties, but we should be able to get all the patients out of the temporary hospital." She looked over the other girl as she noticed Lucy had her bankai active, and felt her heart speed up a bit as she looked over the changes. After a minute she commented "when I called for help, I didn't expect them to send you, but I'm glad that you came out."
She blinked and looked over as she heard a loud boom and ducked behind a crate as she got her rifle ready to shoot as she spoke into her headset, "report! What was that?!" She aimed her rifle out at the field in front of her and shot two remaining hollows as she got the answer "ma'am! The blast was from Tomoko's bankai. She cleared a path to the pillar; we should be good for you and Lucy to go with her." She would nod and turn off the headset for now as she looked at the other girl. She was about to say something, but paused and looked over as she noticed something odd. She looked over as she got up and blinked as she saw a vizard with red hair and a lieutenant badge enter and run after where Tomoko went. She blinked as she looked back at Lucy and commented "I'm going to take up the rear and take out idiots from afar; you go ahead with those two."
With that, Isabella popped her neck as she got up and moved down the road. She would go down a back alley and shoot a hollow that missed out on the larger blast with a quick shot to the head and went up the stairs it was guarding as she sighed softly. She silently wondered how she was going to get from rooftop to rooftop without compromising her safety by running up and down the stairs as she got in position, and sighed out loud as she heard Andrew comment in her inner world, 'Have you never watched an action movie? Just jump from rooftop to rooftop.' She would ignore the hollow as she began firing at hollows that were in front of Zero and Tomoto and whispered "I swear, I think you're trying to get me killed sometimes.."

"Ok good, since there is my bankai and girl's bankai activated along with the one guy that just popped in, its going to get dangerous even for the patients. Isabella, true watching my back is a good idea but remember the patients are the fourth division's main concern, Never forget that." Lucy left parting words as she hurried ahead with Zero and Tomoko whispering a incantation. "God of the gales; grant upon us the speed of your kin. Let us join among the dance of the winds, Bougyoudo #52: Hayameru!" Lucy whispers out as her speed picks up along with Tomoko, Zero, and Isabella which Lucy learned from the 5th Division and wields it very well due to her former standing. Lucy moves faster ahead as she goes flash step dancing around the pillar examining the numbers of hollows that are appearing. Lucy then unleashes her Kido Master Aura affecting all hollows around her, even some of them step back a bit feeling Lucy's fierce power in her aura. She knows even Isabella would feel Lucy's aura to show that her seriousness in combat as started specially with her bankai. Lucy then as she charges towards the hollows, she positions her scythes tying one to her right arm and one to her left leg as she spins in the air like a ball dancer splicing and cutting hollows in half. The ropes of the scythes release with her spiritual pressure as she grabs her scythe's handles slicing even more of them. Though one hollow manages to scratch Lucy though Lucy smirks as she puts her mouth to the scratch. Lucy sucks up the blood from the scratch on her right hand with a smile like some crazy blood maniac. Lucy then spits her blood on the hollow as it lands on its cheek leaving it confused as she activates a kido by incantation"Blood of my veins burn through the body of mine enemy. Hadou #23 Phoenix Fire!" Lucy says it out with a smile as she watches the enemy scream being burned by her blood in turn Lucy slices the enemy in half with her scythe of the past killing it. "Yes the killing, i love it!"Lucy thought with a smile as she goes like on the blood frenzy slaying one hollow after another. Lucy feels she is enjoying herself too much but killing all these hollows is too much fun to her as they are helpless to her power. Lucy goes back to her serious face after as she sees more hollows appearing as she turns to Tomoko and Zero"Lets keep killing them, they are just defiling our home." Lucy knows she has plenty of spiritual energy to go around for the hollows but she knows she can't use up her spiritual energy too quickly specially with her bankai active. Tomoko blinked as Zero appeared near her and fell into the fight with her. Lucy and Isabella's help was also noted as they fought off the Hollow swarm and took the Pillar for themselves using a myriad of their own combat abilities. The number of final releases in the area was enough to scare off even the boldest of soul devouring swarms and the Northern Rukongai was finding itself at peace, once again for the moment. Still, she could not help but wonder were that Vasto Lorde class presence she felt was going. "I know I felt a Vasto...wait, the smoke in the distance, look! We're under attack!", she shouted as she pointed to the outer area were the Sparring Arena was located. Smoke was billowing from the area and explosions could be seen in the distance, heading toward the Eastern Rukon Districts, or so it seemed. "Damn...they used this as a distraction!", she growled in anger as her zanpakuto sealed back down to it's normal state.
Tomoko hated being played for a fool, and that's just what the Hollow had done. While the Shinigami were achieving their victory and claiming a Pillar, the Arrancar were blowing up key training facilities and slaughtering training Soul Reapers. They were such cowards, and the lack of honor in this act of war made the seated officer's blood boil furiously in righteous anger. "We have to stop them, Vice Captain...", the blonde sword master said as she looked to Zero for guidance. He -was- the highest ranking Soul Reaper in the area and would be able to guide them all in a plan of action. Guidance was desperately needed now, because if the Arrancar were here, it might be a matter of time before they come back to this place and assault the pillar while blowing up the district along with it, at least that's what she thought, but Zero was a more cunning and intelligent individual than she, and would be better off differing judgement to.

Zero stopped and shoved his hands in his pockets. The small collation had managed to secure the pillar. However any form of celebration was nowhere to be found. Tomoko had noticed explosions off in the distance, in what appeared to be the eastern district. Tomoko would then suggest that the pillar was merely a distraction so that the hollow forces could reek havoc upon a district. The young man would shake his head in a negative direction. He believed that it was the other way around. It was common war strategy to attack a target of lesser value before attacking a target of greater value as a distraction. However letting the attack on the eastern district to continue was not an option. The lives of the citizen in the eastern district were important, however, he could only imagine the destruction that would follow if the forces of Huceo Mundo got their hands on the northern district along with the pillar. A deep sigh would leave his lips. It felt like there was no correct answer in this situation. "I'll go." he would say before looking to Tomoko. "Don't let this pillar fall." he would command before leaving to the Eastern Rukongai. Zero would look over the participants of the battle beforehand. He was not foolish enough to go completely alone, though he had considered it. He had just told Tomoko to guard the pillar, it would have been a wise choose to take someone with such battle prowess. He hated to admit it that she seemed intelligent enough to command on her own. Perhaps that was why she was seated, she was the best candidate to keep the pillar. The medic could without a doubt support her, and she was capable of keeping this battlefield flowing as it should. It was the kido user that caught his eye, a medic and a caster. "You, you're with me." he would say while pointing at Lucy. "Let's go."

"Right." Lucy felt very ready to help the Vice Captain as she looked back to the others with a determined look in her eyes. Lucy said it very seriously being stern as her aura seems to glow with her words. Lucy is unsure what will happen ahead but she trust that Zero has a plan about facing such a dangerous foe. Arrancars in history seem to be top game of Hollows and this is not going to be easy, not by a long shot. Lucy though looked to the explosion where it happened and thought about her people as she looked to the villages around. She can sense her parents spiritual pressures which they check ok. "Good they seem to be ok; well lets get going, Standing around here is not going to get anything done." Lucy then jumps using flash step boosting herself towards the Eastern Area. Isabella Kiyoshi Squad 4 Soldier Isabella sighed as she watched the group press their advantage. She would follow behind the group to give sniper coverage as she shot hollows with her rifle. When she would find herself out of range of enemies in front of the group, she would leave the building she was in, and silently move forward to get into a new vantage point. She let out a soft sigh as she found they were done and leaned against a wall for now as she rubbed her eyes from strain caused by looking through a scope for so long. She sighed softly as she heard the explosion and slid down the wall as she whispered, "this was a ruse..we've been duped it seems.." She glanced outside as the lieutenant commented on people staying behind to keep the pillar secure, and got up to look out the window. She blinked and stared at Lucy as she was chosen to go with Zero to fight in the Eastern section and set her head on her arms as she muttered "you better come back.." as she was told to take care of the patients and make sure the pillar wasn't attacked. She shifted the headset she had back up to be able to use it as she thought a bit, but pushed it down to rest on her neck as she figured it was still too dangerous for medics to arrive. With that noted, she left her hiding spot and went over to Tomoko as she asked "any way I can help get this place ready for squad four to come back? Chances are a large amount of them left when I gave the instructions to fall back."

Isabella Kiyoshi Squad 4 Soldier Isabella blinked and looked over to the east as she heard a roaring boom. She stared at the other district as a cloud of fire and ash came from the damage caused by a cero striking a target and thought a bit as she glanced over at the other girl. If she was right in her assumptions, blast was caused by a fairly strong cero being fired..meaning that the group had just gone to fight an arrancar that was fairly strong, potentially a vasto lorde if she was reading the energy in the air correctly. She froze for a moment as she noticed something odd, and focused as she softly shut her eyes. She took a sharp breath as she realized she wasn't misreading the energy in the air as she silently thought 'there's only two arrancars out that way making that much noise?' Although she was worried about Lucy, she doubted that she could do much to help anyone fighting in that area. If she went into that area, she would likely faint from the power difference between her and the vasto lorde by themself. For now, she looked over at the temporary hospital as she noticed that some of the medics from before the pillar activated had returned to collect the abandoned tents and equipment, as well as the last of the patients, and commented to the officer, "looks like all the wounded were moved to the main hospital. It's going to be a while until the Eastern districts are safe enough to go into. If you need me, I'll be at the hospital." With that, she would bow to show respect to the higher ranked woman, before she left, grabbing a case of equipment before being teleported out by a different soldier wrapping his arms around her midsection before he used a flash step to go to the hospital. With the blast from the pillar and the crash down of spirit energy, Tomoko Yuji was caught off guard and vaporized by the spiritual-nuclear blast, being removed from existence entirely with nothing left if somebody tried to revive her. She had fought bravely, but in this instance, she was a helpless victim to the wrath of the Jokaisho-Sworn. In her final moments, the white tigress could not help but wonder if she was to blame for the lack of action, but in her heart she knew well that this was likely inevitable and she would be remembered as a hero if the Soul Courts did not return her.
Lucy shows up to the Northern District with two medics behind her and Lucy looks around the area. Alot of buildings due to the explosion of the pillar, the place was a disaster and clearly Lucy didn't like this at all. "Medics! gather Intel on everything here, patients, their conditions, and including any information on any of the buildings that haven't been touched!" Lucy watches the medics quickly get into work as they look around the area gathering intel. Lucy though swore that Tomoko here but she keeps the information quiet to herself. Lucy felt the worst possibility must of happened which Lucy would wish to later inform 11th Captain but yet she would pass that information onto her Captain. Lucy seen that medics got tents up running again like Isabella did before her and started gathering patients. Lucy with her new knowledge of healing kido, she begin to treat the patients using her kido which the patients are kept close eyes on. Lucy was going around the tent as the medics do all of their medical duties but yet gathering Intel. Lucy though frowned at the fact there is many injured but alot of them are dead. The casualties were off the charts, something Lucy didn't think she would see. "Well this is what happens in a war zone, however i expected something like this to happen." Lucy thought as she was keeping a eye outside the tent as the medic worked. Lucy did train in the 5th division and knew a lot of dangerous kido which makes her a battle medic really. One patient though was screaming out a bit due to a major bruise on the back of their neck from taking a hard impact. Lucy smiles as she activates her first kido she had learned and spreads the healing onto their bruise relieving them. The patient smiles as they go back to lay down, Lucy can tell the patient was a shinigami one point due to the high spiritual energy however; its very diminished meaning they hadn't used their soul reaper powers for a long time. Lucy leans up against the tent outside keeping a eye out for anyone that comes to help with rebuilding efforts. Lucy knew she didn't have the men to do heavy lifting, it wasn't the 4th division's specialty. Lucy hopes that some from one of the strength orientated divisions shows up here to help with rebuilding efforts since she is organizing the efforts here. 413 words

Isabella Kiyoshi Squad 4 Soldier Isabella would arrive after exiting a flash step. She looked around at the destruction as she covered her nose and mouth with her hand for now. She set the bag of medical equipment on the ground to grab a surgical mask to block the dust and soot, and began walking with the pack on her back as she kept a hand near her zanpakuto's hilt. She looked over at Lucy as she ordered the medics with her to get info on the area around her and glanced back as more medics arrived. She looked up at the pillar in the sky as she noticed it seemed to be floating over the epicenter of the blast and thought out loud "damn..no one would have seen it coming.."
With that morbid thought, she began to pick through the ruins to look for survivors. She had a thought as she noticed something off in the air a few moments later, and called out "Tomoko-san, are you out there?!" When she didn't hear a response, she shouted again "anyone from squad eleven, please respond!" She blinked as she was met with silence and shook her head as she muttered "s**t..the eleventh division may have lost their fourth seat.." With that, she resumed going through the wreckage, keeping an eye out for Tomoko. She let out a sigh as she saw the destroyed buildings, and kinda wished soul society figured out how to use bulldozers as she realized it would take a while to tear down the ruined buildings.
Lucy as she is leaned against the tent, she noticed Isabella come into the area which she smiles but yet gets back to her serious look after all. Lucy watches Isabella checking around the area gathering information no less though Lucy goes over to talk to Isabella wondering if she has gathered any further information. "Isabella, anything to report here in this wreckage." Lucy said it with a serious tone."I haven't seen any sighting of Tomoko, i believe she is very well gone. I haven't been able to pick up on her spiritual pressure and which tells me she was snuffed out by the explosion here. If you find anything of Tomoko, we will report it to our Captain of course, it is sad that one great soldier died here. I say she was a hero for standing here and guarding it before the explosion. She prevented our enemy from taking it but yet now we don't know what will happen. I say we build a post here, keep up the rebuilding process, and once its complete, we will report everything to the Captain. Though, i have no idea if we have any potential enemies here, which is another thing to consider and keep a eye out for as well." Lucy mentioned several pieces of information and the possibilities with the explosion and disaster could bring. Regardless, Lucy has been issued orders by the Captain and she is going to carry it out though she can barely feel the hatred in her heart about the Shinigami. As she looks back to the tent of all the injured citizens and retired shinigami, it only brings sadness to her heart. Lucy though she smiles brightly because with the training she has, she can save lives. Lucy though smiles as she looks at Isabella because it was her that got her this far; and which Lucy reaches with her arms but she pulls back. Lucy knows its not the place right now to hold her lover and that how much she loves Isabella, the girl of her dreams. Lucy though gets back to her serious look as she keeps her eyes out for any potential enemies or presences of allies. 367 words x 1.5= 550 words

Isabella Kiyoshi Squad 4 Soldier Isabella looked over at Lucy as she asked if there was anything to report and shook her head for no. She looked around as she tried to see if there was any trace of Tomoko, only to find that there was truly nothing left. She silently nodded as the other girl commented on her being a good soldier and dying a hero defending the pillar before the explosion. She looked up at where the offending structure was as she commented on not knowing what happened and commented after the note on keeping an eye out for enemies of the Gotie 13, "I have some suspicions on how the explosion happened, but I'd need someone from the twelfth division to confirm or deny my theory. The pillar that we fought over is gone and there's potentially shards of it everywhere. Hell, we can probably ask whoever survived and ignore the twelfth division based on this info."
She stared for a moment as the other girl pulled her arms away after extending them for a moment, potentially figuring it wasn't a great time or place for them to hold each other. She gave a brief smile and commented "we may need to stay a few nights here given how damaged everything is. For now though, we need to get through the gritty work of finding survivors and collecting the deceased." With that, she passed by the taller girl, squeezing her hand subtly and briefly as she went by, giving an order to a nearby medic "head back to headquarters and get a box of body bags and some pens. We need to start collecting body parts and full corpses to do proper burials." She would watch as the medic left and came back rather quickly with the requested supplies and more medics, the bags being dropped off at the medical tent. She would grab a few of the large bags and a pen and put them with her medical supplies before she went off. Around ten minutes after she set off, she would pause as she noticed a trace of Tomoko's reiatsu and head toward it.
When she got to where she felt the fourth seat was, she slowed to a stop as she found there wasn't anyone near her. She looked around as she slowly walked forward, and paused as she saw a glimmer on the ground. She cautiously walked to it as she put her hand over the hilt of her zanpakuto, nervous that it was a trap, and stared as she found a shattered zanpakuto along with some of her remains, at least she thought they were her leg and arm. With that, she would take out a body bag and put on a pair of gloves before collecting the fourth seat's remains and placed a note on where she was. With the bag marked and sealed, she would wave over a stronger medic to bring it to the tent for verification as she pushed on, shaking her head softly.
Nikuya had been one of those injured by the fallout after the initial blast. Not literal fallout mind you, but the tremors from the massive explosion. Such a huge blast created a massive wave of force. That was what was truly devastating about an explosion, the rapid displacement of molecules that created a wave. The wave displaced both air, which created the boom, and the ground, which created a wave. Like an ocean wave, it travelled as it dispersed. Now, Nikuya didn't know much about science, but he did know that when the blast happened it created a quake powerful enough to bring the ceiling down on his room, crushing his arm. Now he found himself in a medical tent, a rudimentary sling holding his arm to his chest. Nikuya flexed his fingers and twisted his wrist. Sure, he wasn't a doctor or a scientist, but he could tell when a bone was or wasn't broken. His arm was fine. He popped the sling off. Ah. The cloth that was strapping his arm to his chest was really hiding the stitches. A gruesome wound snaked its way down his left arm from his elbow to his wrist. It would heal, he mused. This wasn't time to sit in bed and wait for the nice doctors to cater to him. That was when he heard whispers. The fourth seat of eleven was dead. Some expressed grief. Others expressed how there was an open seat. "No one is taking that seat. Not without proving they could honor such a sacrafice." he spat at the nay-sayers feet as he gathered his things. He strapped his strange zanpaktou to his belt and pushed open the front flap of the tent. He nearly ran smack into Isabella. He had no idea who this fourth squad woman was, only that she was trying her best to help. There was another girl with her, another of fourth squad, but Nikuya noted with his hawkish eyes that the only thing she was doing was standing and day-dreaming. Hardly helpful in a time of crisis. He sneered. Then quickly hid his snarling fangs. "Excuse me, if you follow me I will help clear debris and you can administer first aid. My name is Nikuya, of the eleventh squad." He addressed Isabella, giving his name and politely bowing at the waste. His demeanor was calm once more, but his eyes were still focused and sharp. "I assume you are aware of the concept of triage?' The man with tawny skin and raven hair asked politely as he walked bare-foot to the nearest pile of rubble. He kneeled and entered a lifting position. Feet shoulder width apart and back straight. Then gripped the largest piece, one that was beneath several others and began to pick it up. Muscles strained and veins popped on the surface of his beige skin, but the rocky detritus gave way. It groaned in unison with the man, as sweat dripped down his brow and he ground his impressive canines together. But it was enough. Beneath the rubble lie one unconscious, yet still breath shinigami. Seventh division. She was still clutching her zanpak-tou, even as blood cascaded down the side of her head. "Where is your captain?" He asked Isabella as he held the weight of a building upon his lusty shoulders.

Lucy though noticed a new squad mate of the 11th division appeared which he was injured and appeared well after leaving the medical tent. At this point the man didn't really pay attention to Lucy which Lucy was a little annoyed but understandable. Lucy stops watching out for potential enemies as she watches the man ask about around first aid. Even ask as far about concept of triage which Lucy had no idea about but she watched how the man lifted up the building revealing a seventh division shinigami. With the question of about her captain Lucy speaks"Sorry to interrupt but the captain is currently in the head quarters of the Fourth Division." Lucy as she is speaking, she quickly flash steps to grab the shinigami and flash steps again to carry the Shinigami out of there. "Thank you for your help, my name is Lucy Shikki, 4th division but also what is your name?" Lucy asked with a smile as she is using healing kido on the Shinigami focusing on the head wound. 174 x 1.7= 296 words + 550 words=846 words
It would seem that one tragedy would follow after another. Zero had just finished chasing Achana would of the Eastern District, and en route back to the twelfth division when a massive explosion caused him to detour right back to the Northern District. "Jeez I can't catch a break." he would say under his breath. Upon arrival, Zero could not believe his eyes. The devastation of the pillar exploding was beyond comprehension. "Come to me Elly." he would say under his breath. Elly would appear and land on his shoulder. 'This .. this damage...is.. running calculations now.' When he looked at where the pillar was, it was gone. In its place was what appeared to be a portal. Where did it go? As much as he wanted to check it out, there were more important matters at hand. 'unable to perform calculations. Would you like to me to retry?' Elly would finish her sentence within his mind. "Not right now. When we get closer we will scan at a smaller scale." It would be wise to get an estimate of the damage, and help who he could along the way.
It was then that reality would hit the young meme lord. Before he had left to get investigate the explosions at the Eastern District, he asked Tomoko to guard the pillar. It was highly probable that she would have still been in the area when the explosion occurred. Which would mean it could be argued that if she died it would be his fault. The thought made him sick to his stomach. Yellow eyes scanned the area, there was no sign of Tomoko. Nevertheless he would find out about her fate soon enough. There was very little information that escaped his grasp. However he would find Isabella and Lucy, and briskly jog over to them. He could see that Lucy was tending to a patient. It would appear that an eleventh division shinigami, and lifted some of the ruble to get the girl. "She's got the patient." he would call out. Zero was not quiet sure if Lucy had pulled the girl into his field of vision or not. Zero would bend a little, trying to look as far as he could to see if there was anyone missed. "It's clear. You can let go." The girl was still breathing which was an obvious positive note, but Lucy was tending to her so he did not interfere. After all, he was not a doctor.
Zero would allow his smart watch device to switch into his data pad form. "I hope you don't mind me hanging around. I'll pick up some readings, and help you guys out along the way."
Isabella blinked and paused for a moment as she felt Tomoko activate her bankai. She was brought back to the issue at hand as she noticed a hollow charging a cero and quickly fired three shots of electricity into its chest after quickly looking down the scope of her gun. She noticed a familiar reiatsu enter as she glanced back at the group behind her as they continued to quickly get patients out of the tent hospital and swore under her breath as one of the people in her group was hit by a cero that glanced his neck. She quickly rushed over as two squad eleven soldiers took her spot and threw on a pair of gloves to apply pressure to the cut on his neck and swore again as she found the small "glancing blow" had actually been fatal. She let up pressure as she saw there wasn't anything she could do as she held his hand, whispering "I'm sorrry..Goodbye..", and shook her head as he passed away. She got up as she shut his eyes and motioned a medic over as Lucy made it to the temporary ops center/hospital.
