After delivering a light kick to a passing enemy, Xiu shot AJ another worried glance. He seemed to have recovered, but clearly there had been something bothering him. Since this was neither the time nor place to pry, however, she merely smiled at him.

"I'm glad to hear that you're still baking, AJ! You were a natural when we had our first lesson." Which was...wow, way back, wasn't it? It was surprising to think that so much time had passed.

"What about you, Andrew?" Xiu asked, attempting to pull him into the conversation, "Are you much of a baker or a chef yourself?"

It was a good thing Sammy was more interested in watching people attempt to stop the grunts then she was Amrita's face or else the ghoul would have fallen to a slew of questions. Instead she only got a shake of the head from Sammy.

"No way we can pull them apart, they're working too closely together to let us get them apart one by one unless we had a group try and drag one out on their lonesome."

Her flickering eyes shifted to Shun as he spoke with Xiu one dark eyebrow raising above it's otherwise empty socket, "Malawha? Are these some kind of Halloween Thugs or something?"

"Seriously you are going to fight and you are talking about baking?" Ok he was not having anything to do with the fight any more but that was well beyond the point.

He sighed and bothered to answer the question. "I can cook, but just basic stuff." honestly half the time he popped it into the oven or microwave and called it good after it was charred enough. He could eat pretty much anything after it was charred.

AJ returned Marosa with a thumb up, "Sure buddy, Bro misses you." Then, his focus back to the two he was with. A softened and tender smile, even the crimson eyes were smiling, "I'm glad we had our first, it was remarkable. I put a tray on a nearby tree, some of the spookies and tarts I baked, we can have Andrew to warm them up later for us."

The serpent dragon looked at the demon with a teasing smile, not believing his words. "Andrew, that's a good training for multi-tasking. You know, the master who taught me how to fight can talk, eat ice-cream while kicking me. It was about attention and distribution of your focus, it trains your sensitivity-" AJ explained and moved his head to dodge a flying flower rooted while Head caught it with mouth like a giant puppy.

"I bet all the seniors could do it like breathing." He smirked. "Like Miss Xiu." AJ glanced at the baku, "By the way, how's your cafe?"

"Quick! Heal us again!" the naga demanded.

"I can't! I'm out of heals!" the witch shouted in turn.

"You guys should have just let me soak up all the damage!" the zombie snapped.

"We was tryin'! But y'did a pisspoor job!" the ghast snarled.

"No. We need to fall back. This is too much!"

"BUT WHAT ABOUT THE BOOM!"

"Forget it for now! Retreat!"

And just like that, the five scattered, leaving their bomb behind right next to the stone foundation. With the ruffians out of the way, the symbols were soon clear to everyone in the area.

Upon close inspection, the carvings seemed to be pretty old. They had to have some sort of significance, right? Why else would those lot have been trying to blast past it?

Good work! You stopped the grunts from detonating their bomb! But it seems we have a mystery on our hands, gang. Can you figure it out? If not... well... You could try and detonate the bomb anyway. It is still there and all.

Pokerus had been hearing some odd sounds coming from the gym for a while now, though she had written it off as a over enthusiastic class. But when she saw a bunch of strangers that sure didn't look like any students running away from the gym in a rush, her suspicions were raised.

Plus it was hard to not see the mass of students nearby, so the dragon made her way over, finding a upturned bush on the way and a bunch of symbols on the wall.

"Hey guys." She greeted Xiu and Shun. "Whats going on?"

She looked at the runes, but didn't do anything just yet.

Sludge had also heard the sounds of battle going on, but the Xenomorph had kept out of the way of such ruckus until the fighting was over, when he crawled over to the group of students.

He didn't know any of them there, so he didn't say anything. Plus he still had issues with the hole talking thing as well.

With quiet hissing noises he stared at the symbols, then poked the middle one. Because why not?

Shun narrowed his good eye as the group ran off. They were quick. That was certain. He had a feeling they wouldn't be gone for long, either. Furrowing his brow, he glanced over at the runes and the barrel down in the hole. He was about to move in and take a closer look but Poke grabbed his attention.

"A few thugs dug up this hole and were planning on blasting through the gym's foundation there. I am uncertain why, however."

The center rune sank in with the poke, and suddenly all eight lit up. Cracks began to form in the stone, creating a sort of archway. Once they finished forming, it crumbled away, revealing a dark hallway of sorts.

Looks like the gym ended up with a hole in it anyway, but at least this one was a lot smaller than what would have been caused by the bomb.

The hall itself was well built. It was not just some tunnel carved in the earth, but instead it was paved with smooth stone. It goes on for some distance before ending at an intricate closed door. On either side of the door were two posts of sorts. Above it, a glowing red emblem could be seen.

Pokerus looked at the reaper incredulously, the idea of someone trying to blow up a school gym ridiculous.

"Why would anyone want to do that?!" She replied. "It's not as if theres some secret tunnel underneath the build-"

And then...a secret tunnel appeared underneath the building

"....Alright then..."

Sludge just stared at the opening tunnel in a stupor. He hadn't expected that to happen.

"...That answers one question."

Finally, it seemed those strange creeple had, enough! They went scurrying away with their figurative tail between their legs, and Camilla was tempted to take chase! Who knew what they might blow up next! However, she decided not too because one against five wasn't good odds... And she'd already failed at using both her Fears... She wasn't yet cut out to battle...

And so, she decides to stay with the group. Maybe they should go tell a teacher and have them set up a guard? Those creeple wanted something from this spot, and she had little doubt they'd return...

While the Dormouse ghoul was musing on that, a curious creature walked up and touched one of the now exposed runes. Suddenly, a secret passageway begins to open! This quickly catches Camilla's attention and has her staring in awe! Soon her tail begins to wag excitedly as the dank smell of the secret passageway reaches her nose. It was the smell of... Adventure! "Ooo! So thats what they were after! I didn't know the school had secret passages!?" she exclaims excitedly. "There must be something important down there if those creeple were trying to get in! Let's go see!" she says excitedly! True to form, after she finished speaking she wastes little time bounding inside!

She was surprised to see how well made the tunnel was... It was far from just some hole in the foundation... No... this had been here for a long time...

Eagerly she continues down the tunnel, uncaring if anybody followed her. Finally, she comes to a closed door with a glowing red symbol on the arch. "Hm..." she hums thoughtfully as she looks at it. The door was closed... So... that symbol might be the key to opening it? Seemed logical enough. Though it was much too high up for her to reach... Well no... there was a myriad of ways she could have reached it, but she had a different idea instead.

After looking around a bit, she soon locates a small rock. Once she lined up her shot and took a calming breath, she throws the rock at the red symbol.
