 Youmu Konpaku A tough encounter. That's what the reports called it.
Demons were swarming the JPs building. They didn't have any tamers guiding them..They didn't have any greater goal in mind. They merely were trying to take down the base, and take as many lives as they could.
"Unfortunate for them.." she called, holding out her phone. "Lucifer, put them in their place!"
The Fallen Angel emerged from her phone, raising one of his mighty fingers. For a few moments, there was nothing....Before a colossal surge of almighty energy, not restrained by his summoners wishes anymore, erupted into the crowd of demons, disintegrating them in a flash..and making the ground quake in fear. She leaned back against the wall, closing her eyes for a small nap.

Youmu Konpaku As she opened her eyes, she caught a glimpse of it...
A single megrez, wandering around the base. Clearly, it hadn't spotted her yet....
But, with her having definitely spotted it, she gripped her blade.
"This is for Berserker." she called, before Leaping down and Bisecting it with her blade. A perfect strike...a Critical moment..And the being wilted like a flower, fading into energy from whence it came. She sheathed her weapon at this, sighing deeply.

...And, surprise to her, It didn't involve her having to directly engage their foes. No...It involved something far more..Mundane.
"Everyone, form a single-file line. Everyone will get their turn!" she called, watching the crowds for rations suddenly straighten up and tense. "No cutting, No doubling back, and No stealing from others! We're all in this together, is that clear?""Yes Ma'am!"Youmu sighed a bit, as she patrolled the line, a firm glance enough to deter any negative action. She supposed her reputation had a bit of good to it...even if it was still unwelcome.

Kakyo "Boss" Kaido, Head of the Oshu City Vultures
"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"Even if he had been young, that kid definitely had legitimate skills; Kakyo hadn't had to take him down during the course of the fight, fortunately, due to a call from the main JPs branch calling in the teen boxer to deal with another Megrez bud somewhere in Oshu...so the kid had left with a promise to come back once he was finished kicking 'Septentrione a**'. Sounded like a fun time, actually, but there were still a few things that the Boss needed to take care of before he went back out into the city again. His previous disguise had eventually turned out to be a failure, and now half of the JPs officers in the city had seen him and knew that he was someone considered an 'enemy' to be stopped on sight. That was annoying. And even more annoying was the Ikusa that had attacked with its spear the moment that kid was gone, leaping down from the top of the Warehouse to take a stab at him and get a tip full of concrete instead.
It had been short work to defeat it, but only because it had stunned itself with the missing leap. That devil had been durable and fast, probably above what his own demons could do by a bit, and that worried him a little...were they starting to see the area around them become too dangerous to stick around? Maybe not yet, but eventually could it be the case? He shook his head and ran a hand through his hair, moving back through the doors to meet with his gang once more...
"Hey 'old man'...you know calling a teenager like that a 'brat' only makes you sound older, right?"

Youmu Konpaku Youmu quickly found herself patrolling another line of civilians awaiting more rations. She waved everyone on in turn, seeing a few people starting to get a bit rowdy. A small press on her phone, and a familiar Blue-skinned deity emerged. For a few moments, the crowd recoiled in fear, before Shiva began to lift up ration supplies, and hold them out in turn.
"Shiva here will help you all. Don't worry, he's fine. He just likes dances."
For a few moments, people stared in fear..before a little girl walked forward, twirling a bit for him. Shiva froze for a few seconds, before kneeling down, and handing her some supplies. "This is what I learned in Ballet!" Another girl called, getting her turn. "This is called the disco." a blonde guy called, moving his fingers. "This is the Worm, your Lordship." one called, starting to wriggle on the ground. Soon enough, the crowd was getting into it, and starting to cheer. Youmu giggled as the group sought to entertain Shiva as best they could, getting their rations in turned. For the first time in what felt like a long while, a genuine, warm smile came across her face.

"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"A knocking could be heard on the warehouse door a few minutes later, thunderous but at the same time, very low on the frame of the door. What kid (since that was kid height) could cause that kind of a shockwave with one rap against the wood like that? A demon, that was what.
"'G'day, humans..err...I mean...person! My name is...uh...Oba Ri-Yon! And I'm uh...a traveling...sales...demonPERSON! Salesperson! Yeah..." a voice called from the far side of the warehouse door, so obviously not someone they wanted to open up for that they debated just ignoring it entirely, "I uh...I'm here to sell you...what are those fleshy things called?...life...libido...LUNG! LUNG insurance! That's it..." ...Immediately Kakyo's eyes shifted towards Mo-Po, trying to hold back a giggle that might give away that they were here.

"Sounds like you could use that, doesn't it?" Rina suddenly spoke up candidly towards the one-lunged wonder, immediately earning a forehead slap from the boss and laughter from the crew, "Ah HA! I know you're in there! You can't ignore me...err...you can't...ignore...MY PRICES!" Yeah, he wasn't going anywhere. Kakyo drew his phone and moved towards the door with a shake of his head.

Youmu Konpaku Youmu bent over after watching the citizens disperse from getting their rations, taking a tip from a water fountain. As she pulled back though, a familiar figure walked over, the man in the flat cap and suit."Heyyo, Yoummy." Joe's voice called, with the same laid back voice. "Nice scarf. Daichi get it for you?""Yeah." she called lightly, flushing slightly. She'd nearly forgotten about it, with everything that was going on...Yet, as she looked at Joe, he held out a bag."Here. Courtesy of 'Harutopia's Troitown.' Apparently you've got fans, even in Okina."Youmu looked at the bag for a few seconds, in wonder..
'It can't be..' she thought, before opening it..Seeing a burger.
"It's...but.....How?!" she called, the man in the cap just giggling."You'll have to head to Okina to find out yourself, Yoummy." Joe called, chuckling. "They say they're 'Hellishly Grilled to perfection by Satan himself. A bit of an odd tagline, but they're damn good."Youmu dug into the burger quickly, incredulous.
"It's...ish really a burger." she called, savoring the flavor for moments between bites. "A rilly good one.""Don't choke on it, Yoummy. It'll be there for a bit." Joe called, walking on. "Anyways, I've got some Manga to read. I'll catch you later."Youmu waved to Joe as she tried to slow down, finding the burger, impossibly delicious. Fast food, in a time like this was unheard of....
And it tasted...Just so good. "I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"When it rained, it poured...and as he splattered the Obariyon all across the road in a matter of seconds, there was a sudden crash not far down the road and a rumbling in the Earth that threatened to send Mo-Po and the others in the warehouse tumbling, the house itself crumbling, and the leader in the street stumbling to his knees. He managed to maintain his balance, however, and walked slowly towards the strange creature as it hover-spun in his direction ominously...an imperceptible language emanating from within its no-mouth. It was almost like two prize-fighters walking to the center of the ring for a big showdown, epic...quiet...the looming intensity of life-or-death combat over the heads of both competitors...
"It looks like a giant ice cream cone!"
...
...Aaaand there went the mood. Still, a**-kicking time was upon him, and for the first time, the Boss had to face one of them, even if just a bud, up close...and learn in some small measure just how terrifying a foe stood before them.
And as he stood over the dissipating monster's body triumphantly, exhausted, and a little bloody, he smirked proudly knowing that despite the threat, he had emerged victorious. Youmu Konpaku As Youmu was wiping her face from the Troitown Burger, she glanced up at this...finding a familiar figure.
"A Megrez.." she called to herself, gripping her weapon. It hadn't seen her....And, if she had her way, it wouldn't.
For a few moments, it was quiet...before Loki's considerable magical energy blasted the bud into nothingness. Even if it had survived the onslaught, Youmu's blade would have struck true...and as she sheathed it, she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
"Another one down." she called, holding a moment of silence.

"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?""It's hot," the deep voice of the Boss sighed as he touched the summoning terminal that had risen from the nearby street when the battle with the bud of Megrez had at last come to a conclusion. Soon thereafter a horde of demons had begun to swarm down the street in the wake of the Septentrione's lesser segment, and in a moment of desperation, Kakyo tried to activate whatever the thing he had discovered might be. But touching it didn't work...so he punched it! ...That didn't work either, so what the Hell was supposed to make it work? Everybody knew when you punched machines they were supposed to work!
...It was only as a last thought he held up his cell phone to the Terminal and felt the power flood into him just as the swarm closed in...fire burning in his eyes and at his fingertips as he turned attention towards his enemies. "Go, Human Torch! *coughhackwheeze*!" "Flame on!"
...

Youmu cracked the phone underfoot as the rioter surrendered, Loki sticking out his tongue as he did. It wasn't much of a fight, especially considered to the Megrez she destroyed. These kind of encounters felt as natural as breathing to her...And, thankfully, she didn't need to terrorize the guy and his Pendragon with her most powerful demon. No..Loki was enough to handle it.
And, as she walked down the area, she wondered..

'That's getting really old.... she thought, before a quake formed..and she felt the ground beneath her opening up a bit. She dropped some supplies underfoot...But, the long arm of Lucifer shoved the bud away, leaving her mostly safe.
"Oh...he must have been....scared of that...Not me." she thought with a pause, before lowering her eyes. "I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"He had underestimated the amount of demons that might come in the wake of the Megrez Bud, and no sooner had he let the power drain out of him from fighting the first wave than a second was already bearing down on him...followed by a second bud landing down the road and shaking the Earth again to put him off his guard. It was then that the rushing Barbatos attacked with an arrow that grazed his leg and forced him to tumble and roll back to a knee, but the group was closing in! He grit his teeth and tried to think of a plan, but was having little luck...in just a second, two seconds, they would be on him! s**t, s**t, s**t!
BANG!
...The sound of a sniper rifle rang out and one of the demons closing in was knocked to the ground in front of him, and then another...BANG! BANG! His eyes shifted suddenly towards the top level of the warehouse where his sniper had set up shop and was clearing the road for his return! Swiftly the doors opened, just a little, and he could see the girl standing between them waiting for him...Rina! That snarky savior! ...And she was probably going to make fun of him forever for this, but better alive and listening to her drivel than dead! Not by much, but he wasn't going to complain...yet! Hisoka was motioning for him as well and so he took the chance to retreat, slipping within the warehouse as the doors closed and the demons passed.
So close to death, but bailed out by his crew. Awesome crew. Vultures for life.

Youmu Konpaku Even as she ran, another megrez appeared, descending to blast the area. Lucifer protected her from the assault, but she couldn't help but drop some of her items, darting the other way once more.
'They just keep...following me..! she thought as she darted into the park, trying to find a way to lose them. Youmu Konpaku As she wandered into the park though, a demon turned around."This is my park, Ho. Get the Hee-ll out of here!"Youmu paused, considering the situation a joke. Was she being..ordered by a demon such as that?
She brought out the Mitama demon at this, letting it slam into the Jack frost, and send it into Magnetite. She breathed a small sigh of relief, and laid against the tree.
"I think I lost them." she called, glancing around the park. It was quiet...too quiet.
