Haku had to admit that Doc was right, he did need to learn to control his anger. It was something he struggled with at times but something that also helped him. When Mai rose to her feet so did he as he turned to face Doc. When he was asked Haku smiled,"Same as her but I also seek to learn a style known those with the premium heart. I am confidant that my body can handle the high speed assaults the pairing of the two styles can unleash." As he spoke his tails split to each side slowly coiling up and down,"Plus I have an advantage when it comes to balance these arn't just for show." He was looking forward to finally getting his fists dirty as well as the workout that would come along with it.

A smile would appear as he picked up his nodachi and stabbed it into the ground,leaving a perfect indent with the sheath. Putting his hand on the hilt Sougo would chuckle a bit as he finally relaxed a bit. He was finally getting back into the way of teaching and feeling a bit relieved that things were going well.
Toria turned her head to the chair where her headband was. She walked over to it and picked it up. "Now that I've trained, I can finally sleep!~" She said, smiling and lied down on the seat where her headband sat. Higure Shinsetsu "W-what do you mean?" | Genin | Konohagakure | Higure of the Leaves | 380/380 | Shinsetsu Clan | Sealer | Sensor | Suiton | Fuuton | Higure entered the academy quietly, pacing over to the scrolls and yet again, grabbing one elemental scroll, and a scroll on seals. He then walked over to the wall where he had been before and sat down, opening a scroll and pouring over the contents.

Mashiro entered the academy and looked around for his genin. It didn't take much looking, though, as all he had to do was look where there wasn't crowds. Mashiro walked up to him, and stood over him, menacingly. "It appears I'm supposed to beat some backbone into you, whelp."

Higure Shinsetsu "W-what do you mean?" | Genin | Konohagakure | Higure of the Leaves | 380/380 | Shinsetsu Clan | Sealer | Sensor | Suiton | Fuuton | Higure was so immersed in his scroll that he hadn't noticed the older shinobi approach him. He had put the scroll down to prepare to learn something when he looked up, hearing the elder's voice. He looked down immediately, a sign of submission as he tried to avoid conflict. "I-i'm l-learning...." Higure mumbled quietly, trying to scoot and shy around the other white haired male.

The child didn't seem very talkative. Higure was light enough to pick up with just one arm as was shown when Mashiro picked him up by the collar. Mashiro talked calmly to the child, noting the defense mechanism. "I like this as little as you do, child. Now stand up straight and greet your sensei properly, else you'll taste the bottom of my foot." Dropping the genin to the floor, he would wait for the his response.

Panic starting to kick in, the boy grabbed the arm that grabbed his shirt and began kicking, trying to kick Mashiro's elbow joint to get free. He was spoken to by a surprisingly calm voice from the aggressor. He was dropped and told to greet him properly or receive a punishment. Feeling the tears begin, the boy shied back away from him, pressing against the wall and trying to make himself smaller.

Mashiro sighed. 'This is why I hate kids.' he'd think to himself. He reeled his foot back, and gave the boy a small kick to the kid's side. "I have little patience and you are wearing what i do have thin." Mashiro could to go on with this approach, but he decided against it. Kneeling down to the child, he would ask. "Why did you want to become a shinobi, child?"

Tears began spilling over as he began sniffling in pain, not sure what to say to the patience wearing thin statement. He flinched as the male now crouched beside him, asking him why he wanted to be a shinobi in the first place. Wiping his eyes and sniffling, he managed to stammer out, "I-i wanted t-to help p-p-people..... Because I-i was weak...."

"Yet you think that just because you are a shinobi you are stronger? Strength is not gained by graduating from a school, child. It is gained through hard work and determination. If you cannot stand up to me then you are no better than what you are trying to grow out of." As Mashiro spoke he would hold Higure's shoulder, possibly as a way to comfort him. Although his voice was calm, there was a layer of irritation behind it still.

He let out a tiny whimper as he felt Mashiro's hand placed on his shoulder, and he could faintly detect the irritation. At least he was trying to be somewhat nice though.

Mitsuko nodded silently and focused her chakra inwards. She sighed softly as she laid down on the floor an focused on her heart rate, and slowing it down. Mitsuko slowly stopped the flow of her blood to her heart, then lungs. [1/3] She then slowly started to slow her breathing, then stop it all together. Once she was no longer breathing she worked at getting the blood to stop going to her lungs all together, and worked at keeping her lungs from atrophying by subtly surging chakra through them instead. [2/3] Finally she felt her heart completely stop, and she could tell than she was no longer breathing. The only thing keeping her truly alive now was her chakra acting in place of her natural body processes. [3/3] Mitsuko slowly reversed the process and looked up at Viktor, "What do you think?"

Mashiro picked up one of the scrolls, the elemental scroll. Pulling the kid to his feet, he would place it in the boy's hand. "Learn it. Practice it. Experience it. You won't get anywhere sitting around, twerp. When you're done, you'll move on to the next one." Mashiro grabbed the scroll on seals and sat down, waiting for Higure to train.

Higure Shinsetsu "W-what do you mean?" | Genin | Konohagakure | Higure of the Leaves | 380/380 | Shinsetsu Clan | Sealer | Sensor | Suiton | Fuuton | Higure was pulled to his feed before one of the three scrolls was placed into his hands, ordered to train and learn. He began to step forward, mentioning that one of those scrolls wasn't the academy's, but his own. "Train!" Snapped the Chuunin, making the genin step back and open the scroll. One technique in particular caught his sight, Mist Vision. He exerted chakra but nothing seemed to change. [Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ] 1/1 Learned!]
Maybe it didn't change because of no mist? He made a seal and a thick mist rolled in, obscuring the area. Nothing changed for him though because of the technique. He ended it and saw his vision was nothing but the thick, white mist. Nodding, he ended the technique, looking back at Mashiro, dancing foot to foot a bit. "Go on, keep practicing. child." Mashiro said. [Suiton: Kirigakure no Jutsu (Water Release: Hidden Mist Technique) 1/1 learned!]
Next up was another simple technique. Higure made a simple hand seal and from the small pool of water beside him, emerged a clone of him, composed of water. It waved to him and he waved back, ending the technique, knowing he was successful in learning it. [Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique) 1/1 learned!]
Taking a deep breath, knowing he'd feel stupid if this fails, Higure made a seal and pushed his head under the water, and taking a deep breath. The chakra broke the liquid down to a gas and allowed him to breath quite comfortable beneath the surface of the water. [Suimenka no Kisoku (Breathing Underwater Technique) 1/1 learned!]
Finally emerging from the water, it streamed and poured from his hair onto his shirt, soaking it and turning the white fabric semi transparent from the water. He sighed and formed several seals before the water melded into eight tentacles on his back, writhing and ready to strike out at those he thought opponents he considered enemies. [Suiton: Hachi Shokushu (Water Release: Eight Tentacles) 1/1 learned!]
