And it worked! The eevee crashed into the wall of water. Ryan eyes glisten with confidence. "Dewdrop! Hurricane!" Ryan roars. Dewdrop cries out and unleashes it's powerful attack on the cornered eevee, driving it further into Ryan's wall of water.

Once Dewdrop's attack had finished, Ryan would throw his Safari ball at the Eevee, hoping to secure him quickly.

Unfortunately, in her attempt to take off, a Rattata ran past and chased the Pichu from before away. Territorial, maybe? She wasn't sure, and she wasn't about to try and find out, hoping she could get more distance before something else popped up.

The Safari Balls seals on the first rock, A Critical Capture on top of it all! Ryan drops his channeling and then praises Dewdrop for good effort as he picks up the safari ball. It was time to head in. He also knew he had a lot of work ahead of him with this Eevee. He would have to spend a lot of time and effort before he even thought of evolving it.

Several minutes managed to pass without incident, long enough for Amaranth to decide to stop and try to better assess things. So far, she had mostly seen what she kind of expected from the place. It looked like it hadn't been touched in years outside of the team's being here, and not much different had shown up... that is, until she noticed a Weedle trying to say hi by means of poking her with its head.

Narrowly managing to get away, she figured out that staying in one place could be a really bad idea here.

Crystal would lose track of Apolla as she ran through the power plant, the cat for some reason petrified of giant mushrooms. "Oh for crying out loud.... APOLLA!" She closed her eyes and focused around her, trying to sense the Espeon... when she heard a loud hollow clang from outside. "What the?" She'd dart outside and see Apolla on the ground next to a dirty Bronzong hovering over a hole in the ground. "Well then."

("Ugn... My head.... What did I hit?") She'd shake her head and look up. ("A bell.)

"Ooooh, fascinating! Apolla, how do you feel about fighting it?"

("I hate you, lady.") Apolla would get up and look at Crystal briefly before turning back to the Bronzong, backing up. ("So, we're going to fight this thing?")

"Yup! I think it'd make a nice addition to our team."

("Amusing, considering where we've been recently.")

"Indeed. Maybe it could help bring rain to the Desert Resort," Crystal chuckled, "Shadow Ball, Apolla!"

Apolla would focus ghost chi into the space in front of her, forming it into an shadowy orb before firing it at the Bronzong. It would hit it square in the center of the bell, sending the Pokémon flying back. "ZOOOONG!" It was definitely not happy now, after being woken up by all the ruckus in the power plant, being slammed into be some strange purple big eared cat, then that same cat attacking it with a Shadow Ball. It was pissed. And it decided to vent this anger by spinning towards Apolla, slowly at first but quickly building up speed before tackling her. The Gyro Ball attack would send Apolla tumbling back, doing a decent amount of damage to the frail cat.

("Ow.... Maybe this wasn't the best idea, Crystal. The bell's pretty mad. Wouldn't be surprised if he tried to summon a thunderstorm on us."

"Right, might want to be careful now.... Ah. Apolla, put up a Reflect screen!"

Apolla would nod and focus in front of her once again, putting up a silvery wall of light to help soften the blow of any more physical attacks coming her way. Thankfully, it was put up before the Bronzong fired off a swirling golden Confuse Ray at Apolla, fuddling up her mind.

("Whoa.... Trippy.")

"Oh dear... Apolla, snap out of it and fire off a Shadow Ball again!"

("Huh? Right.....") She'd try to fire off a Shadow Ball, but this time mishandled the chi, sending back a small amount of energy into her face. ("Bah...") A loud, resounding metallic screech would emanate from the blue bell, forcing Apolla and Crystal to cover their ears. ("Oh my god, that's horrible!")

"Yeah, no kidding! How are you feeling?"

("Clearer!")

"Then one more Shadow Ball!"

Apolla would be able to focus the chi correctly this time, firing off the Shadow Ball at Bronzong. In return, it would counter with a Payback attack, sending her flying even with the Reflect up, and she groaned while remaining on the ground. ("Oof...")

"Right then. Now or never." She'd take out a Safari Ball she'd stuffed into the pocket inside one of her sleeves, and threw the Safari Ball out at the Bronzong.

She would also move swiftly along after spotting a Dedenne chewing on some wires, though it did look less roughed up or scared than the Pichu she saw earlier did. She had a feeling most of what she'd see were going to be more Electric Pokemon.

Hearing some kind of loud commotion in the distance, Amaranth didn't get to see much more than a Durant finding a way to go through the floor and try to get away from such racket. Unsure of what was going on, she decided to stay away from that too and continued on her way. At least it wasn't another rodent.
