[ Luke, Saria, Asura, Floramon : File City : Residential Area ]

"Oh, um, hello!" Floramon greeted the humans with a wave. "Not at all, not at all! You make yourselves at home." He then turned his attention back to Asura as he set down his watering can. "Why are they here?" he asked in a vain attempt at a whisper.

"My theory is that their Digimon called them," Asura said, making a shrug-like gesture with her wings. "The question of 'why' is anyone's guess. Their partners don't even seem to know, or at least they haven't spoken out about it. All the same, these humans were drawn to their eggs, so there has to be a reason."

"It isn't going to be like, you know..." Here he tried to whisper again. "Like last time, is it?"

"I doubt it. Either way, I did come here for a reason..."

"I'm guessing you want some food," Floramon said, crossing his arms.

"There are four more of these children," Asura said, "making eight in total. Two of them have yet to find eggs, but I'm sure all of them have felt the call. That means eight hungry Digimon tummies to be fed."

"Okay, I'll give them some of the winter storage," Floramon said before lifting up a hidden door in the ground and running down a flight of stairs that led into the earth. Before the humans had much time to wonder where he had gone, the Vegetation Digimon returned with a large sack, which he set on the ground with a loud THUD. "There are fourty-eight pieces of regular-sized meat in here - that means six for each of you. Since a Fresh Digimon eats about two medium meats a day, that should be plenty to start you all off."

"Wow, thanks, Floramon," Luke said, giving the Digimon a low bow.

"If you come back here tomorrow, I'll give everybody three free pieces of meat. That's every day, actually. But I won't save them up for you, so if you don't show up, you don't get any. Three a day, no more. You'll have to find the rest of your food by yourselves."

"But where are we supposed to put it all?" the human asked.

"Why not in there?" Floramon asked, pointing toward Luke's chest. The male raised an eyebrow at him before glancing down at his chest to see a strange metallic pendant hanging from a string around his neck. He was surprised that he hadn't noticed it before.

"Wait, what?" he exclaimed as he reached up a hand to grab the object, examining it closely. It had a screen and buttons, and was colored a deep shade of green. If he didn't know any better, he would guess the device was some weird sort of Game Boy or something, but there was only one thing it could be in the Digital World: a Digivice.

No way... You have got to be kidding me...

[ Calumon, Karina : File City : Primary Village ]

"Ooh! I have medicine!" Calumon piped up, jumping up and down excitedly. "Just tell me what you need and I'll do my best to help!" Meanwhile, Karina seemed to be dozing off...

[ Song : File City : Primary Village ]

Song pressed her lips tightly as she stifled an "I'm sorry" to apologize for the apology. It actually wasn't too hard because she quickly found herself occupied with the fact that Mizu just bopped her nose. There was so much that could have been done and thought about that. Sadly, there was no time for all that. The regret for not saying "boop" would have to find some other time to resurface. For the moment, Song had to settle for being a little bewildered but mostly listening to Bobbi attentively. Bobbi had been so nice to her all this time, she deserved the attention at least.

The mention of a meat farm created several questions in Song's head, but she felt it was only polite that she respond to Bobbi's offer first. A hand weakly came up and waved in the negative as Song's head shook to give the same message. "No thank you," she politely declined, "I think I'll be alright." She was used to denying her body pain medicine. The throbbing pain usually passed with some pressure and eye closing. Song squeezed her eyes shut,

Too scared to rise again in fear of more flying Digimon, Song choose to just settle on the ground as she made some small talk, "So... meat farm? What is that? Also, did everyone get a Digimon?". She was almost sure about the answer to the last question. She had managed to confirm the existence of Digi-tamers in the group even with her consecutive K.O.s, so that usually meant everyone had a partner. She would bet that the pull she felt was the pull leading her to her own partner, who she hoped beyond all hope would not knock her out upon hatching. However, she could not see any furry ball of potential concussive consequences around Bobbi nor could Song tell if Bobbi was feeling her own pull of fate.

{Bobbi .:. File City .:. Primary Village}

Bobbi shrugged when Song declined her offer of pain killers. She hated using them herself, so she didn’t question it. Besides, if they used too many now, there wouldn’t be any left later on in the adventure when they probably actually would need the drugs. Following Song’s cue of settling herself on the ground, Bobbi rearranged to sit cross-legged, holding her bag in her lap.

"I haven’t the foggiest," the brunette said sincerely, absently pushing her glasses back into place and tucking her hair back behind her ear where it belonged. "I only know the first two seasons of Digimon. I mean, I saw some seasons after, but I only about once each so I don’t remember them well. As for Digimon, I dunno. She did," Bobbi pointed off a ways to one of the people who had been in the house with the group. Bobbi had totally missed the girl’s name, but there was currently a baby Digimon bouncing around in the girl’s general area, so it seemed logical that the Digimon was hers. "And pretty much everyone else either has an egg or a Digimon. I’ve got one I need to go find, I think."

If the pull on my heart is anything to go by, she added silently, staring off into the distance. That distance happened to be the same general direction that tug was pulling her, actually. Bobbi refrained from saying the last bit out loud, however, mostly because the average person would look at her like she was a loony. Then again, this was the Digital World, so something like heart-tugging shouldn’t have been too out of the ordinary.

Nah, heart-things was the domain of Kingdom Hearts. Were the domain of…? Whatever the proper grammar was. This wasn’t like Heartfelt Adventure, where funky things were going to be happening to her metaphysical heart and possibly soul. Hopefully there would be a whole lot less ******** happening in this adventure than happened in her favorite RP, though. She’d discovered during her last year of living with Rebecca and Patricia that she got violent when she was stressed. Usually she could relegate her violence to verbal lashings, but still, not something she wanted to visit too often.

Although if the anime she’d seen were anything to go by, stress was probably going to happen. A lot. And she had a feeling, judging from three-knockouts-in-just-as-many-minutes here, that she was going to be the mother figure to the group. That meant keeping people in line, making sure everyone was fed and had shelter and enough sleep, that wounds were properly doctored, grievances settled in as amicable a manner as possible… She hoped she’d be up to the task, and at the same time, doubted that she would be.

I didn’t want kids for a reason, universe!

[ Luke, Saria, Asura : File City : Residential Area ---> Primary Village ]

"Well, if these kiddos don't have any other questions, I guess we'll head back now!" Asura announced, giving Floramon a bow before flying off slowly so that the humans could keep up with her. "See you soon, Floramon!"

"Bye for now, Asura!" Floramon said, waving one of his purple petal hands.

Luke, on the other hand, was completely lost to the rest of the world, as he was fascinated by the newest amazing discovery in today's already-long series of amazing discoveries. He held with one hand the Digivice hanging from his neck, moving it around to view it from every angle, letting out sounds of fascination every now and then. He would soon be left behind by Asura and whoever was following her back to Primary.

Once he was finally done examining its body, he stared at the screen, where there were five cartoonish icons flashing and swirling around, each with a small text under them, which read "Digimon", "Tamer", "Item", "Radar", and "Link". The three buttons on the opposite sides of the device reminded him of Digimon virtual pets, so he figured they wouldn't be too hard to figure out. After just a bit of experimenting, he selected one of the menu icons, and was brought to a new screen, with only two icons this time: "Store" and "Retrieve".

"Huh. Maybe I really can put food in here..."

[ Asura, Calumon, Karina : File City : Primary Village ]
Meanwhile, Asura had reached Primary village, only to see Calumon running off to his little shack on the edge of the village, while Karina simply sat and "watched over" the humans who had remained, with her eyes closed.

"So, what's going on?" the MarineAngemon asked more loudly than necessary, laughing when Karina popped her eyes open and glared at her partner.

"Hey! Why are you making all that racket?"

"Looks like the only one making noise is you," Asura said in a more mild volume, sticking out her tongue at Karina. "One of our guests is in bad shape, you know. You should really be more considerate of others. Hey, why did Calumon leave?"

"Who knows? Why don't you go ask him and leave me alone, you old hag?"

[Kyla: File City: Primary Village: Residential area]

“Woah..an actual meat farm…”
Noy only that, they form and color looked like they pope dout of what would be considered an ‘icon’ for a meat stick. And these were grown? Woah.. talk about a way to solve the vegan and meat eater conflict- farmed meat. Everyone wins.
But was this about storing, and two a day and- wait…
When the Floramon pointed at Luka’s front, she didn’t quite know why but she felt instinctively to her own and sure enough- something was there! Looking donw she examined the object laced around her neck. And..given the fact she had changed- how come she hadn’t noticed it before?!
Maybe it appeared after the digimon hatched?
Asura did mention something about being called-right? By their partners maybe?
For what?
Kyla flipped the object over and examined it’s buttons,” digimon….tamer…items…radar…link…” she murmured off. A small wiggle in her other hand and she smiled, bringing the little creature up onto her shoulder. Once there she pulled her hood up over her little a little t provide some shelter. The small mousey creature poked it head out and over her shoulder, no doubt looking at the object.

“Is that it? You called me here?”
The creature just gave her a knowing look and Kyla didn’t press that question any more.
Luke mentioned something else- retrieve? Where?
Flipping it over she pressed into the menu which indeed brought up a few more functions.
“Oh- think there’s something already listed?” she wondered- going into the items category to see if there was a list.

Another wiggle to her cheek and Kyla chuckled- " ok ok..sorry. Hungry huh?"
she then approached Floramon and looked down into the sack- " thank you for these Floramon, we really do appreciate it. I'm sure we'll be sure to heed your warning too." she replied and reached for one of the six each could recieve.
Might as well see how it suits them- and she brought the medium sized novelty meat up to the creatures face.
To her utter astonishment, the little thing open it's mouth and actually began munching with such verocity! It was actually a bit scary having it co close to her ear! "Holy..."

{James : File City: Meat Farm}

James remained silent as he watched Floramon as the digimon finished watering the meatpop icons and set the can down. He listened intently as Asura spoke to the plant digimon. Apparently they were here because there eggs had called to them. He looked down at the metallic digimon he held in the crook of his elbow curiously. The mouse-sized mon didn’t seem to really react. It’s red eyes, more like LEDs didn’t even blink.

The Floramon disappeared into a cellar for a moment to come back upstairs with a large sack of what the young man could only assume to be food for the digimon which landed on the ground with loud thud. He listened as Floramon gave them basic feeding information regarding their digimon and how much food they needed. It was a good thing to know and information he would make sure the other’s received as well when they got back to their group if the others did not.

”So basically as long as we remember to come back to you every day as long as our digimon are still newly hatched we shouldn’t run out?” He asked the Floramon for clarification. ”Does the meat spoil eventually?” He asked the plant digimon curiously. He figured this was a really good opportunity to figure those things out. It was good that their partners would be looked after. However, how they were going to get food hadn’t yet been figured out or revealed.

As he waited for the digimon to answer his question he looked at Banshee who was transfixed by the item that he now had around his neck. The young man reached down to find that next to his ocarina he wore one as well. A digivice in the same design, only his was red.

”So… are you just going to stand there lost in your own little world or are you going to actually try and store all of that food in your device? Or are we going to haul it all back to divide it up?” James asked with a slight chuckle as he poked Luke’s shoulder, trying to draw him out of his reverie.

[Aira: File City: Primary Village to Residential area-Meat Farm]

Meat farm? Meat farm. What the season six masteries changes is a god damm meat farm? Aira scratched her head as the little devil trapped in her death hold attempted to tilt its body up at the sound of food. Tear hasn’t attempted to talk like some of the other digimon, but Aira was more than happy to keep the silence. It really only kept its beady little eyes on their partner, who was technically abusing them right now.

“Here we go…” Aira muttered as she noticed Kyla leaving, and quickly tailed her friend to make sure they didn’t’ get into trouble at the so called meat farm. Seriously, this sounds so wrong on so many different levels, as Aira grimaced and had a very off-put expression on her face. She continuously and spontaneously pressed her arm tighter and looser at the squishy digimon, torturing it for being an a*****e earlier as she walked along the path.

Once arriving, Aira gawked at the scene in front of her. “Zy-I mean Floramon? Oh god, it’s the plant hell all over again.” Aira nearly backed off from the Floramon, due to some sort of trauma or something which lead to so called plant hell. The whole description of the meat farm thing, ugh this is sounding really really gross and thoughts that shouldn’t be happening are happening right now. Ew … meat farms.

“The hunger…it gnaws…want meat!” Finally the Yukibotamon which has got its breath in between in the compression of the arm was able to shout out during Aira’s confusion about the digivice pointing out and was fussing with her own. Oh well, that can be easily dealt with, but first being a very bad Asian parent…

“Silence. You don’t deserve to eat you little ice turd.” Aira hushed Tear and then proceed to be an abusive partner by blatantly bouncing the digimon against the ground like she was dribbling a basketball. Funny enough, Tear bounced really well and as each bounce off the ground, the digimon screeched back at Aira. To Aira, this was extremely amusing as hell and continued to banter back while she dribbled Tear.

“I will swallow your soul!”
“I have no soul.”
“I can see the fear in your heart!”
“You aren’t Fids, ‘fraid I am not.”
“You will feed me!”
“Nope.”
“I WILL DESTROY YOU!”

“Uh ha, right. You are totes evil.” Aira chuckled as she grabbed the digimon for a stopping moment, before double hand slamming Tear into the ground and shouting “GET DUNKED!” while the digimon bounced slightly higher off the ground.

“I am evil! Stop laughing!” Tear screamed as it soared into the air for a brief moment only to drop back down and caught in Aira’s hands….then procceded to get stomped on as she dropped the digimon on the ground and trapped it between her foot and the ground.

Not giving a single care at the moment, Aira accepted the meat offered and shoved it into the digivice somehow. Really she was having too much fun torturing her partner for being a little screaming turd. Man she has problems…

“You are not getting food until you deserve it.” Aira was firm with this design and before anyone asked why she is doing this, she quickly said “I’m trying to care but I just can’t. I hate children, and this is literally the reason why.”

[ Song : File City : Primary Village ]

A sigh of relief escaped from Song's lips. She didn't bother explaining out loud, but a big part of her was hugely relieved that she wasn't the only one with next to no clue about what was happening around her. Sure, if she was in a manga, then maybe being the only one to not know might signal something special, but in real life (if something like this can be called "real life")? Ignorance was a hindrance.

Her hands moved up to a more comfortable position: crossed in front of her chest. That was when she remembered, . She squirmed, wondering if maybe it had been on her back this entire time and she had just gotten used to resting on it. The lack of anything that sounded or felt like a bag told her that she hadn't forgotten her bag was behind her. Next was her sides. Song's arms flailed around her as she sort of looked to her sides.

While she searched, Song explained, "Welp. You don't have to worry about me. Just trying to find my bag, so feel free to search for your digi-egg. I-"

"Aha," she murmured as she felt the familiar touch of her bag. Somehow or other, probably during the course of all the knock-outs, it had fallen to the ground besides her. Lazy as always, Song settled with dragging the bag to her and then propping it on top of her body as she continued, "What was I saying? I forgot. Well, whatever, I'm fine. I'll be up when I feel ready." She gave a big smile, trying her best to make it look reassuring. Her fidgety hands, for lack of anything more interesting to do, found their way to through the backpack's straps and now Song was wearing it in front,

Truth was, Song had an idea of where her digi-egg was. After all, she wasn't a complete idiot. Just mostly an idiot. From where she lay, which was beneath the shade of the tree, she could definitely feel something pull her from above and towards the tree. She wasn't all that sure, though, mostly because being at the top of the tree felt a tad too different for an egg of hers. . That, and if Song acknowledged that her egg was at the top of a tree then… well… that meant she'd need to climb to get it. Climbing was hard… and she felt too embarrassed to do it while someone was watching her. Maybe she'll just leave the egg for now and casually walk by and climb the tree when everyone else was busy doing… whatever it was that people did with Digimon whenever they weren't being chased by giant beetles or falling off a cliff and splitting up.

[[Saeran : File City : Meat Farm]]

As the group proceeded to discover their digivices, Sei was just as well quick to search his person to find his own. He felt around his waist, discovering his key chain, which to his disappointment, held only keys. He searched his pockets, which held his cellphone, no signal, figures, and his wallet, because average currency will get you anywhere in the digital world.

Putting aside his sarcastic pessimism, at last his search led to his messenger bag which he pulled to the front underneath his arm without even removing it from his body. And there it was, dangling from a string attached to the zipper. Dark purple with golden-bronze buttons and details made the digivice rather regal looking.

With a small bit of effort as conversations progressed, Saeran undid the string and allowed the digivice to rest in his palm as he gripped it with a certain satisfaction brimming on his face.

At last his attention returned to the others as shouts came from Aira and her digimon making quite the ruckus.

"I am evil! Stop laughing!" it shouted as she bounced the little b*****d into the air making the declaration all the more comical as Aira made her own announcement denying food to the digimon until he deserved to eat. Quite a terrible thing to do to a child that under normal circumstances would likely be considered child abuse, but who was Saeran to say that this wasn't just the kind of kick in the a** the tiny master of evil needed to clean up his act.

There was one thing still lingering on Sei's mind however. The floramon made a comment earlier in their conversation with Asura, last time, they'd mentioned a last time, meaning humans showing up like this had happened before and it made them nervous. Something bad must have happened, he thought to press them on the subject but instead began fiddling with his digivice. He found the retrieve button and after pulling up a screen akin to that of a smartphone camera, he aimed at the meat and as it highlighted it on his display he pressed the retrieve button. The meat digitized and broke into separate pixels rising up, vanishing before a flow of pixels appeared in a tiny stream down into the USB-like port of his digivice, "Six pieces of meat accounted for," he announced, grinning.

[ Luke, Saria, Floramon : File City : Residential Area ---> Primary Village ]

"Oh, hey!" Luke shouted as he realized that their new MarineAngemon friend had floated on without them. Learning from watching Aira and Saeran (the name "CK" pasted onto the man forever in his mind), he placed five of his designated six pieces of meat into his Digivice, leaving the sixth out and holding it out in front of Saria. The baby Digimon, before Luke could see how it happened or where exactly its mouth was, devoured the food, bone and all. Now satisfied, the Yuramon let out a cheerful yawn before falling promptly to sleep, letting out a constant string of soft chirps otherwise known as Yuramon snoring. The tall human tucked his new partner under the flap of his messenger bag and turned toward his fellow "Digidestined".

"Hey, y'all, it looks like our guide already took off ahead of us. But it's a straight line from here to the village, so no biggie, right?" He gave them a wide grin before turning back around, waving an arm as if to say "Let's go!" as he walked back toward the Village of Beginnings.

"Not a problem," Floramon smiled at Kyla when she thanked him. He then turned to another one of the humans and nodded. "You should be fine, I believe," he said to James. "And it should all stay fresh as long as it's stored in your Digivice. Outside, it'll go bad quickly, but if you keep it frozen, it'll last more than a season. Of course, you won't have to worry about it as long as you have that." Here he pointed a petaled hand toward the human's Digivice.

[ Asura, Calumon, Karina : File City : Primary Village ]

"I'm baaaack! Calumon cheered as he floated up to Song and Bobbi, carrying a large medicine bottle in both hands.

"Calumon!" Asura greeted. "So that's why you left! Is that medicine for... Um... Your name is Song, isn't it, dear?" She brought her attention to the young woman lying on the grass.

"It sure is!" the white-and-purple Digimon beamed at Song. "This'll help you feel better in no time!"

[ Song : File City : Primary Village ]

"You are baaaaaaaack!" Song answered reflexively to Calumon's greeting, splaying both hands to the side to show her excitement. She could see that the little Digimon was holding a bottle of something, but she didn't pay too much attention to it as she sat up. She affirmed Asura on her way up with a, "Mhm! Song I am! I am Song!". She seemed rather chipper. To be more exact, she was in the mood to joke and be random because, .

Only after Calumon made it clear that it was meant for her did Song scrutinize the liquid held in the bottle. It looked… like a liquid. A dark purple liquid with sesame seed oil-like consistency. There were globs of something midnight blue and pulp the color of oranges floating in the bottle. Some sort of neon yellow powder had settled at the base of the bottle. The mouth of the bottle was encrusted with dried green bits that Song could only assume were the dried remnants of the medicine when past dosages were doled out. Hesitation, skepticism, and maybe even a little bit of disgust were present on Song's face. She could not think in time to prevent a rather rude, "I-is that even safe to drink?" from escaping, a mistake she quickly tried to correct, "I-I mean. I'm sorry. Thank you for going through the trouble but… But…" Song ground her lips together, trying to think of a way to make up for what she had just said.

She had to accept her fate, Rather weakly, she lifted an arm to accept the offer, "Uh… Er… Nevermind. Thank you, I guess. So I just take a sip of it and my head will stop hurting, right? Just a sip, right?"

[ Calumon : File City : Primary Village ]

"No, of course not, silly!" Calumon giggled, spinning around in the air for a moment before landing on the grass. "You need to take at least a tablespoon! Or... was it a chairspoon? Maybe somewhere in the middle with a sofaspoon... Oh! I forgot the measuring cup! I'm so sorry!" the adorable smile on his face had turned into an apologetic frown, and he turned back around and bolted toward his shed once again, calling out, "I'll be right back! I'm almost certain you need a chairspoon!"

[ Luke, Saria, & NPC's : File City : Residential Area ]

Before Luke could finish making his way toward the village, he was distracted when he saw yet another Digimon exit a house. Now, this wouldn't be so distracting if it had been a regular occurrence of someone stepping out their front door, but in the case of this teapot-shaped house, the door in question was on the roof, and opened up like a flipped lid, when out flew a well-known red insect Digimon.

"Kuwagamon!" the human gasped, diverting the bug Digimon's attention down to the ground. Before he could say anything else, the Insectoid touched down right in front of him and greeted him with a wave of one of its clawed appendages. It was from this proximity that Luke could see the messenger bag strapped over the Digimon's shoulder, not much different from his own, though it was much, much larger.

"Evening, fellow citizen! I don't think I've seen you around here before!"

"I-I... Hello!" he laughed nervously. "You're a Kuwagamon!"

Good golly, miss Molly, that sure was smooth.

"And so I am," the Digimon said, his cheerful smile (or so it seemed to be a smile) never failing, as if he wasn't affected whatsoever by this newcomer's awkwardness. He made a slight bow of his head, his gigantic pincers scraping the grass as he did so. "Kuwagamon the postman, ready and able to deliver through snow, sleet, or digi-showers!" Here he rose back up to his full posture and placed his full attention back on the young man as he continued speaking. "But I must say, I've never seen you here before! Are you a relative of Karina's? Because she's the only human I've seen in... Hm... Well, a long time!"

"Not really," Luke laughed. "More like acquaintances. Those are my friends over there," he said, pointing back toward the meat farm "We all arrived here together, though I don't know quite why."

[ Song : File City : Primary Village ]

It started out sensible, and then quickly ended with Song blinking silently in shock. She began to run a series of actions in her mind...

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Song unintentionally blurted out as Calumon left without a care in the world. Song, on the other hand, looked like she was about to die. Somehow, though, she was still firmly gripping the bottle of mysterious liquid. Turning to Bobbi, she desperately asked, "Wh-what the hell are these measurements?! What's a chairspoon?! HOW BIG IS A CHAIRSPOON?! Is it, I mean she? He? I don't know. I'm sorry. Am I going to see a measuring cup the size of a house next?!".

Acting like that seemed like it would be funny to Song, but she also felt it would be too weird and, well, she didn't want to seem crazy. That felt like a bad thing to appear like. Song looked warily at the mysterious liquid she held, Very sneakily (and by sneakily, it was in a super obvious but still quiet fashion), Song hid the bottle inside her bag, hoping that Calumon would forget about it by the time he came back with the measuring cup, which hopefully wasn't the size of a house like Song suspected.

After successfully stowing the medicine away, Song turned to Bobbi and gave her a smile, which would suddenly be replaced by a dive-bombing egg that landed square on Song's head, pushing Song's head down. One "Ofuh!" later and Song was knocked out for the... how many times has it been already? 4th? No, this would have been the 4th Digimon to hit her. This was just her 3rd time briefly knocked out from such an assault.

As Song collapsed onto the ground, a Digimon popped out of the crack that had been caused by the impact between its Digiegg and Song's head and bounced to Bobbi all in one impossibly graceful movement. It would've been difficult for Bobbi to not catch the gently landing Puttimon, which had performed exactly one flip on the way to her. The little white ball with a giant hair whirl and tiny wings would snuggle into Bobbi upon reaching her warm embrace and look up to her with wide eyes, imprinting onto her before declaring, "Mommy!".

"Aww, but I just got comfy," Bobbi mock-whined when Song suggested she go find her digi-egg. She pulled the Handbag of Holding closer and pretended to pout for a second, then got up and slung it over her left shoulder where it belonged. "You’re probably right, though. The sooner we all get our 'mons, the sooner we can get this crazy adventure started. Try not to get knocked out while my back is turned, mkay?"

Bobbi grinned teasingly at Song, but got distracted by Calumon showing up with a bottle of some toxic-looking substance claiming it was medicine. The expression on her face when the little Digimon tried to figure out what kind of spoon Song needed to take her dosage with was comical. Her brows furrowed as one tried to quirk up, her jaw hung slightly slack, and as Calumon walked away she mouthed "what the?" as she watched him leave.

"Quick, hide it somewhere before he comes back," she suggested, but Song was way ahead of her in that respect. "We can blame it on, I dunno, a stray Puppetmon or something. I don’t think that stuff is safe for human consump—" Bobbi cut off as an egg dropped out of the tree, clonked Song in the head, and bounced at the perfect angle for the brunette to catch it.

"—tion." she finished on reflex as her hands closed around the Digiegg. The Digimon that popped out cuddled up against her, and Bobbi stared at it blankly. She knew for a fact this wasn’t her Digimon, since her heart-tug had gotten suddenly sharper and was now laced with the acidic tang of jealousy.

"Mommy!"

"…wat."

"Mommy!" the Puttimon repeated and then snuggled its face into Bobbi's chest. The angelic digimon's wings were fluttering rapidly in happiness, "You feel so warm and soft, Mommy."

Meanwhile, Puttimon's tamer was starting to come to on the cold, hard ground. Alone. With no one cuddling next to her. Following a weak groan, she blinked and swore to herself that never again will she rise up from the spot she lay. Of course, she knew full well that eventually she would have to move, but it was the thought that counted, right? With her head aching bad enough to make her consider imbibing some of the questionable medicine Calumon brought, Song looked around and blearily saw Bobbi holding Puttimon, Something about that Puttimon felt very familiar to Song. Although, she did not remember ever having seen it in what little of the Digimon anime she had watched, but maybe she had just forgotten for a little bit. "Mizu, er, Bobbi, what's the name of your... er... the Digimon you're holding?" Song asked, hoping that maybe a name will jog her memory. For a reason she could not place, calling the unknown Digimon Mizu's seemed not right,
