After making his way out of the Gym there was a strange looking lady standing there with a Haunter. She had ragged looking hair that looked as if it hadn't been taken care of in years, her clothes were torn to shreds but what stuck out most to him was her eyes. They were most definitely crazy looking. "Hell-oh, my name is Moko-nah" she seemingly mumbled to the nothingness in her hands. She twisted her head at what for anyone should be an impossible angle before she turned it to finally face Gio. ["BOO!"/color] she shouted as she threw her hands at him. A strange purple haze flew from her hands and Gio began to feel sleepy. He passed out not sure of what happened next.

Docking in Dewford, Eon quickly departed, saying good-bye to Mr. Briney for the time being. She was already half-way towards Granite cave before she heard the hollering of something, excited. 'Woah! Over there!' Luffy pointed out. A man, resting near the shore was on his butt, apparently having fallen off his little chair. In his hands, a fishing pole bent forward. 'He's got something big!' Luffy exclaimed, quickly floating over. Grabbing hold of the pole, the feline pulled at it, aiding the man. Eon wasn't to sure what was going on, but Luffy really wasn't helping. Rushing over, Eon quickly aided the man as well, tugging him from behind. A second later, a large fish popped up out of the water, right into Origin's jaws. Hook and all., "O-origin!" Eon rushed over to the dragon, prying his jaws open with all her might. Luckily the hook had fallen out of the Magikarp and rested on Origin's tongue for easy retrieval. Eon fell to her knees, breathing a sigh of relief.
"Well, I'm glad I could give your Pokemon lunch." The fisherman stated. Eon turned towards him with an apologetic smile. "Y-yea.... I guess we haven't eaten anything all day." The man chuckled loudly, getting to his feet only to sit back down a second later. Eon carried over his hook, to which he set down in a nearby tackle box. "You ever been fishing before?" The man asked. Eon shook her head. If she did, she couldn't remember. "Well, today you're going to learn. You owe me lunch." The man chuckled once more. "Just kidding. But, really, would you like to try?" Eon thought it over for a moment. Luffy floated down excitement in his eyes. 'Try it! Try it!' He stated excitedly. "Yep, instead of waiting for wild Pokemon to encounter you, you get to sit and wait for wild Pokemon." He bellowed out laughter, then reached over to his side and picked on a different rod. "Here, this is one of my older rods, it should be easy for a beginner like yourself to use." Eon nodded, turned towards the water. She stared at the rod for a second before the male caught her attention, showing her to hold down the line with one hand and then hold the rod back, finally tossing it forward while letting go of the line. She didn't get to far out, but at least she managed to cast her reel.
Playing the waiting game wasn't really Eon's forte, but if it meant a new experience, she was all in. Luckily her luck prevailed and a Magikarp was caught on the line. "Alright, now you can either let it go, or fight it." The fisherman instructed. "I on the other hand would catch it. Magikarp grow to be pretty strong when they evolve, but their temper is another thing." Eon glanced down at Origin, who seemed eager to use Earthquake again on the flopping fish. "Origin... You can fight it, but-" She quickly grabbed the fur that lined his neck. "Use Tackle." The dragon seemed mildly disappointing, but thankfully he listened.

Without the needless devistation, Origin quickly tackled the Magikarp back into the water, where it hopefully would be safer then on land, flopping around. Eon then cast her reel once more. Perhaps she could get something more exciting than a Magikarp. "Looks like you've got a handle on things." The fisherman stated. "I think I'm going to call it day." Eon glanced up, worried he was going to take his reel back. "No worries you can keep it. I always love seeing new fisherman... or fisherwoman being born." With a hardy chuckle, the man walked away, heading back up shore to Dewford Town. A second later, and Eon felt a tug on her line again.
This time she reeled in what looked like a half-dead Magikarp. Luffy seemed interested in the fish, but Eon simply found it boring. How foolish she was. Whatever the case, like with the Magikarp, Origin made quick work of the flopping fish. Being out of water it seemed it was rather useless.

This whole fishing thing wasn't to bad, if it meant catching only Magikarps and Feebas, which neither could do much of anything. This early on they were both only able to use a useless move, Splash. Origin was also loving this opportunity to gain experience. It was more like a game to him than anything. Eon had already picked up on how much experience he was actually learning. Though, being part rock-type there was hardly any chance she was going to use Origin in her fight against Brawly. That would be up to Luffy or Louhi. Thinking of Louhi, Eon released the silent Pokemon along with the remainder of her team. Undine and Sylph both enjoyed entering the water just down the shore a bit, still within eye-sight. Fylgia tucked herself in close to Eon, gazing out towards the sea, her slit-eyes likely staring at the waves as they pushed up onto shore. Perhaps she could even get a bit of training in with Fylgia, really get to know the capabilities of the young vixen Pokemon.
In the meantime, Eon had managed to land another Magikarp. This one took one more tackle to do in, but Origin prevailed as per the usual, happily tossing the fish back out into the water.

Springing from the water after being caught on Eon's line, another Magikarp appeared. Dropping it to the sand, Origin leaped at it, this time, instead of tackling he simply stamped his foot down upon the poor fish, keeping it from doing much of anything before finally Origin kicked it back into the ocean. The thought of gaining the attention from a angry Gyarados at this point was fresh on Eon's mind. Perhaps it was nearly time to pack it in? This was good training and all, but, she didn't want half the island wiped out because of it. 'Don't worry. There are no sea monsters around here.' Luffy happily informed Eon, floating down in front of her pole. 'They normal hang around more towards the deeper parts of the ocean.' He continued. Eon wasn't to sure what to make of this, truth or speculation, she decided to trust Luffy for the time being. "Alright, but I'm blaming you if a Gyarados pops out of the water and Hyper Beams us." Reeling in another catch, Eon was somewhat surprised that this time it was neither a Magikarp or a Feebas. Instead what sprang up from the water was a Goldeen. Very unhappy about being fooled, the water-type went for Origin, being the closer target. With it's tiny horn, it managed to strike Origin. Shaking his head, the dragon jumped up and tackled the fish to the ground. Struggling under Origin's weight, the fish managed a tail whip. Origin stomped down on it with a foot, keeping his extra body weight on the fish. One last struggle, and it managed to use a Water sport to distract Origin, only for a moment though. It didn't manage to get far before Origin tackled it once more, this time sending it back to the ocean. Origin snapped at the air, catching something. He returned to Eon with a grin, getting a potion in thanks for his victory. She noticed what was caught on Origin's maw. "A Mystic Water?" Had the Goldeen dropped it? Well, whatever the case she knew this item was useful... why, she was unsure. Whatever the case, she placed the necklace in her bag. Casting her reel once more, Origin returned to the shore, eagerly awaiting his next foe.

Fresh from the water another Magikarp appeared. Magikarp seemed the most abundant here. Eon found her fear of a Gyarados popping out of the water less plausible. With how many Magikarp there were you'd think a Gyarados would be around to protect it's kin. Whatever the case, Origin made quick work of the splashing Pokemon as per the usual. But as Eon cast out her rod once more, she came to notice something. The sun was setting. "Woah, time sure flies." Eon mentioned. Glancing down the shore towards the setting sun, she leaned forward, pulling up her knee's to rest her head down on them. "A whole day wasted fishing... It's relaxing."
Luffy, who'd fallen asleep on a nearby rock, his straw hat covering his face, pulled it up some to glance over towards Eon. 'Yep. I used to fish all the time with my shipmates.' He mentioned. Eon smiled. She was starting to get why Luffy had this admiration for pirates, it seemed he grew up on a ship, along with other people who likely fed him lies about being a pirate. She sort of felt sorry for him. Everyone of his shipmates had him fooled. Pirates just didn't exist in these modern times.

Once more a Magikarp was caught on Eon's line. At this point she'd gladly accept Origin using Earthquake. It would certainly liven things up a bit. "I think a few more battles and we'll call it a day. I'm sort of beat." Eon mentioned. "Maybe we can camp outside the Granite Cave?" She pondered out loud. Saga nodded, seemingly happy with that idea. "Let's make sure Origin doesn't earthquake our campsite again." Eon chuckled. Saga and Luffy joined in the merriment, leaving Origin confused as he turned around.

Standing up, Eon felt the uncomfortable rub of sand that had slipped into her shorts. "Actually... I think I'd like to go to the Pokemon Center for a bath." Aside from the sand in her shorts, she all together felt gross. Sweating from running, stress from being chased. A long hot shower sounded amazing. Saga glanced away, somewhat disappointed. She was looking forward to camping out instead of spending another night indoors. "Sorry, Saga... But I kind of need this." Leaning over Eon hugged Saga with one arm, quickly standing back up to reel in a Feebas this time. Origin went to work while Eon rested down once more beside Saga. "I haven't really got to take in your new outfit." Eon smiled, obviously joking. Saga lifted a hand to look at herself. Her once green scales were a shimmery white. The leaves on her arm looked like fall leaves, a golden brown. She was quite beautiful. Nodding, Saga lowered her arm once more. "You know, you kind of match Origin in a way. You both have white and gold... except his more black than white." Once more Saga nodded. Thinking about it, Eon released Louhi. "And you, silent member of the team, you're colouring is just as beautiful, but odd at the same time." There was barely a flinch from the Abra as it psychic-ed itself to turn around. "Don't be like that." Eon pouted, standing up to join the Abra. He shifted some to the side, and Eon followed. Once more he moved, and Eon once more followed. She somehow felt the frustration the Abra was feeling, but this was getting kind of fun. Though shed long forgotten the fishing pole resting on the sand. This game of tag-along with Louhi was more entertaining. When he started to use Teleport it was even more fun, because she didn't know where he'd pop up next.

Chasing around Louhi, Eon hadn't noticed Saga had lifted up the fishing pole, just in time to reel in a Magikarp, but not just a Magikarp, a Goldeen decided to pop up as well. Likely the Goldeen from earlier, looking for a rematch. Origin took on the Goldeen, getting in a tackle before it could initiate it's own attack. The Magikarp on the other hand, flopped around on the sands until suddenly, Louhi appeared just in time to be slapped by the fish. Only able to teleport, Eon quickly turned and tossed out Louhi's ball, returning him for the time being. No use letting the Magikarp escape. "Saga, you can take care of that fish!" Eon called. Saga nodded, using Mega Drain from where she sat.
When both fish were done with. Eon lowered her hands down to her knees. "Alright. I think that's good enough. Let's head back into town." Much to everyone's dismay, even Eon's. She just had to get a good long bath. With the sun nearly gone, it was getting far to dark to fish anyway. Tomorrow they'd take on Brawly... well, that was the plan. Eon hated the idea of making Mr. Briney wait for her for longer than a day or two, but perhaps he wouldn't mind? Was he staying at the Pokemon center as well?

Everyone's spirits were pretty downtrodden by the time they'd returned to Dewford and entered the Pokemon Center. Eon quickly located Mr. Briney who was heading back out to his ship for the night. She informed him of her plans and thankfully he didn't seem to upset. They agreed on a one week minimum, if Eon wasn't ready to leave by then, he'd head back home and Eon would find another way to Slateport City. It wasn't to hard, considering all the fisherman that docked on the island's shores. She'd find a way to Slateport no problem at all. It wasn't like Eon planned on spending a week on the island anyway. Tomorrow she'd set off for Granite Cave for some training. With two extra Lucky eggs she'd give one to Louhi and another to Fylgia. The two she mostly wanted to train for the gym. She of course wanted to also train Luffy, but he seemed capable of battling just fine without a Lucky egg to boost his strength.
After finding her way to her room, Eon set down her bag and retrieved a fresh towel from one of the dressers. Releasing her team she left the room with only her thoughts. Luffy had wanted to join Eon, but was quickly declined. She wanted her alone time, time to think over the days events. There was so much about her past she didn't know... namely all of it. But she'd just found out she was the very person she was finding herself idolizing. It felt like vanity to her now, finding out the person she was growing fond of was herself. Though all that was put aside once she sank into a tub of steamy hot water.
Gone for nearly an hour, worry rose in Saga's mind as watched the door to their room, waiting for Eon to walk through. Luffy floated down, striking a pose on the dresser of the room. 'She's okay, Saga.' he stated. She glanced over to him, narrowing her eyes, but with a soft smile she nodded. She didn't like the fact that he'd read her mind, but at the same time, she guessed it was written all over her face. The gecko didn't seem all that attatched to Eon, given they'd only been traveling with each other for little over 2 months, but.... there was a bond there. Deep and growing deeper, stronger. A bond a trainer and their first Pokemon hold. 'Sensible sentiments. She's got a bright future.' This time it wasn't Luffy who spoke, but Louhi. Saga's gaze shifted to the orange Abra, who rested on one of the free beds, with Fylgia at his side. He didn't seem to mind the odd little Pokemon's presence. 'She plans on training me and this one come morning.' He continued. 'I agree with her choice. I sense a challenge ahead of us.' Saga nodded, her mind thinking of the Gym in this city, the challenge most all trainers partake in. 'Not that challenge. A challenge of another sort.' Saga quirked a brow. At this point everyone was staring up at Louhi as he spoke. 'Another trainer awaits us in Granite Cave. I've seen her face before in Eon's mind. Though this trainer does not come baring good fortune. No the trainers is to fight under false pretenses, and Eon will face the first friend- human friend she made.' The room was silent. As no one wanted to speak, the tension in the room grew thick. Suddenly the door opened, revealing a squeaky clean Eon. All eyes turned to her. Eon stopped in the door way, pulling up her towel. "What? Did something happen?" she asked. Of course no one wanted to tell her Louhi's premonition. They all simultaneously agreed with unspoken words they'd keep this secret... but perhaps a warning wouldn't be to bad...

Sitting down on the edge of one of the beds, Eon glanced around her group, feeling more and more on edge, even as everyone started to disperse around the room. Something certainly had happened while she was gone, but no one was willing to tell her what. Did an argument break out? Did they spot some suspicious person through the window? Did someone mistakenly enter Eon's room thinking it was their own? It was making her very curious. Saga's over protectiveness shone through as Eon dried her hair and eventually rested down in bed for the night. She laid down beside Eon, drawing in close, so close Eon had to actually ask Saga to move over, since she was barely able to breath with Saga so close. "Saga, whats gotten into you?" Eon asked. The gecko quickly glanced away, her lips were sealed it seemed. Eon sighed heavily, pushing her own concern away so she could get some shut eye.
But despite all effort, she couldn't. As the time ticked by, Eon found she was restless. Tossing her feet over the side of the bed she began to start putting her boots on, Saga immediately rose, crawling over to the edge of the bed. "I'm just going for a walk." Raising from the bed, Eon crossed the room, stepping over various Pokemon here and there until she reached her bag. No flashlight, seeing in the dark was going to be hard. Pulling out a candle and a folded lantern, Eon got an idea to use this to light her path. She she prepared the lantern she made her way over to the door, finding Saga ready and waiting. "Saga... I'd like to go alone." The gecko shook her head, quickly others who'd woken up join in on barracking the door, despite not knowing why they were doing so. "Really, I'm just going for a walk alright?" No bones.. they weren't budging. "Err, fine. I'll take one of you with me. Would you let me leave then?" Worried glances paused with other worried glances, before finally a series of nodded went on. "Alright, then I'll take.... Fylgia." Pointing out the little creature it jumped up and bounced over to Eon's side, coiled around her legs. "I've been meaning to get to know this one anyway, so maybe this'll be a good opportunity?"
Of course there were objections, but in the end, Eon put her foot down on anyone else coming. They'd agreed she could leave if she took one of them with her, and so she choose to take Fylgia. Eon left the room with just the fox in tow. Or so she assumed, Saga, Luffy and even Undine decided to tag along at a distance.

It wasn't until they reached the outskirts of town did the ominous feeling grow to the point where it was even abundant to Eon. The glow from the lantern had turned abnormal, almost black in it's glow. Resting down the lantern in the sand, she stepped back, picking up Fylgia in her arms. "Where did I get that lantern again?" Eon pondered, watching as the glow only grew. From the darkness surrounding a Yamask appeared. At first it was seemingly mesmerized by the light, but once it took notice of Eon, the ghost attacked.

Despite being scared, Fylgia had leaped into action without Eon's command. issuing a devastatingly powerful attack upon the Yamask, she regained a bit of vengeance from that sneak attack. Eon quickly scooped the vixen in her arms once more, stepping back away from the lantern some more. Fylgia wasn't all that strong, and a couple more hits like that would certainly spell doom for both her and Eon. Stepping back some more, Eon's foot kicked something, almost causing her to trip. glancing down she found her bag, strategically placed below her. Glancing around, she could only see darkness, but she knew it had to be one of her Pokemon had followed despite her orders. She was thankful, given she didn't expect this sort of event to accrue. Reaching down she picked up her bag and quickly healed Fylgia. Looking back up, the lantern was now surrounded by all sorts of Pokemon.... all ghosts. "It's attracting them..." Eon muttered. The Yamask from earlier certainly wasn't from this region was it? She couldn't recall, her memory to fuzzy. She felt there had to be native ghosts to this region, but what were they?
Another ghost, pulled it's attention away from the Lantern, noticing Eon and Fylgia in the distance. It turned, it's body almost robot like. Gliding across the sand it stopped suddenly only to curl up within itself... a tactic to raise it's defense. Wasn't it going to attack like the Yamask had? Whatever it's reason for not attacking, it didn't make a smart move when it came to Fylgia's move roster. Leaping once more from Eon's arms, the little vixen unleashed her attack, only made more powerful from the Golett's defense raise. After it was done, she quickly retreated to behind Eon's legs. "Maybe... maybe we could use this opportunity to train you? I mean, they don't seem to be all that strong, and you're holding your own rather well. It's good experience." Eon pointed out. "Just keep using that Punishment move, and you'll do fine." Flashing a grin to the little Gekkit, it sheepishly nodded, stepping around Eon's legs to take a stance on the warm sands. It wasn't long before another ghost had it's attention pulled away from the lantern.

As a Duskull pulled away from the lantern and approached Eon and Fylgia, something tugged at Eon's mind. She recognized this ghost... had she seen it somewhere before? Likely, perhaps it was just her memories fighting to grasp something. Whatever the case it decided against attacking as the Golett had, instead going for a look that could only be Leer, or something relative to it. It hardly mattered since Fylgia made quick work of the Duskull with her dark-type attack. The fox was still a tad skittish, jumping when the Duskull turned form the Lantern and approached, it's attack was mostly being launched from fear, but even still, she held a sense of preciseness, like she was planning the attack, even through tightly shut eyes and shaking legs. Perhaps this was a testament to what sort of Pokemon Fylgia could eventually end up being.
