She blushed hotly at his words and squealed as she shoved him. "I'm not cute!" she huffed, stamping her foot which made her maternal body jiggle all over. After a few moments of calming down, she crossed her arms and pouted. "I can take care of myself Thomas," she said, staring intensely at the young man. "But if you insist... I'll share pizza with you," she said, still mad but deciding to forgive him for now. She would be at his apartment within the hour, dressed in a nice, snug, curve-hugging dress. She sighed softly as she stroked her belly before knocking on the door. "Thomas? I'm here!" she called out.

He didn't flinch at the shove but instead smiled kindly. Weather or not she accepted it, Thomas still cared about Anne. They parted to get ready for their "not date", and he walked home wondering what had gotten into the elemental? Maybe it was just hormones or something to do with pregnancy? Whatever the reason he decided to drop it and took a shower, thinking about the Neko woman from before. Who was she? He hadn't seen her. " Coming!" Anne heard as the door opened. Thomas stood before her in a nice dress shirt, ironed slack pants, and fancy shoes. He smiled at her and nodded. " You look beautiful Anna." he complimented kindly as he offered a hand. " Well then? I'm sure after a long day of patrolling you and your babies need nourishment! Has anything been going on lately? You rarely stop over to say hello." Thomas spoke as he began to walk with her. Anne hadn't been paying her usual visits for a few months and that got him worried. Even though she protested it, he wanted to help her in any way he could.

"I've just been pretty busy lately. A few months back, I held some territory from those traitorous Iron Roses. But with my due date getting closer, the most I can do is maybe a minor skirmish against one of their order," she said, her hips swaying in a motherly fashion. She then grinned mischievously at him. "So I guess that means I'll be coming by on Fridays to pester you. Hope you haven't forgotten about poker night. I'll win back my ￠300 if it's the last thing I do."As they walked up to the pizzeria, Anna looked down, almost ashamed. "Thomas... About earlier... I'm sorry. I just don't like being called cute. Soldiers aren't cute, they're tough. If I'm just a cute little girl, then I'm not worthy of protecting this island. I don't have a purpose..."(And I'm using ￠ as a symbol for Credits)

He didn't mind, she was nice company to have. Thomas was off most Fridays anyway. When she apologized he took her by the hand and gave it a soft squeeze. " Don't worry you're fine. Sorry, but you can be cute sometimes. I didn't mean to insult you." he apologized as well yet gave her a look of concern. Hugging the Undine he closed his eyes a moment. " You do have a purpose, the life within you...and me. I'm your friend right? Anna you're the best at what you do how can you say you don't have a purpose? Everyone on the island here loves and relies on you, as well as your fellow Sisters! I even feel safer when you're around, so don't fret!--Oh!?" glancing down he smiled feeling a kick as their bellies were pressed together lightly. Grabbing her hand he gently placed it on top of her belly resting his upon hers. " Sometimes you have to find and make a new purpose yourself. When you found me three months ago, I was scared and didn't have a purpose myself. Yet now I make people happy with my baking as well as make a certain Undine angry when I beat her at poker." he teased with a wink stepping back and smiling. (OOC: it would be funny if the Neko was at the same place too. xD)

She smiled. "Thomas, that's very sweet of you to say... And yes, I know I have a purpose with these little flukes inside of me. But I don't want this to be all that I amount to. I'm hot-blooded, I live for the fight. To know that I'm pushing back a threat to our way of life. I can't stand the Iron Roses. They think they're so superior in every way. That theirs is the only way of life, and our peace is weakness..." She took in a breath to continue her anti-Iron Rose speech before it caught in her throat. A certain neko was sitting in a far booth, waiting for her order and the two locked eyes. "What the hell..." "... are YOU doing here!?" the two hissed at each other, causing the Undine to summon her weapon and cause several frightened women to scatter. "Oh, and now you're trying to steal Thomas to yourself, you little tart?" Natalie hissed, unsheathing her small war axe. "I'll bet you're even trying to brainwash him into thinking we're nothing but a group of barbarians bent on hunting the weak and claiming all the men for ourselves," she growled, her tail straight and bristling. Of course, it was true, but Natalie wasn't going to admit to something so crass when she could lie and come out smelling like a rose.

He gasped, knowing how passionate Anna got about the Iron Roses. Wait a minute! The Neko he met was one of them? She didn't seem to bad? As both raised their weapons Thomas frowned there were innocent families around them! Stepping in between them he held his arms out. " Stop! Both of you! We're all here for food right!? S-So let's just relax okay!?" he stated trying to stop the problem before it started. " I-In fact, how about we all sit together and e-enjoy a meal? I think it's time you two stopped fighting! Please I don't want to see you both, or your little ones, getting hurt." he spoke trying to be the voice of reason. " I'll even sit between you two if that'll make it better!"

Natalie huffed and sheathed her weapon, turning her back on the two. "It doesn't work that way..." she said to Thomas without even batting an eye. "She's a Guardian, and I'm an Iron Rose. Our ideals clash, violently. The sun would go out long before our factions ever saw eye to eye. You're going to have to make a choice soon, Thomas. It's me, or her..." she growled softly, getting her food wrapped up to go. Before she left, she turned to stare down Anna. "You win this battle, but the war isn't over yet..."With that, the neko stormed off with her pizza pie. Anna would have given chase if Thomas wasn't nearby. This was supposed to be a nice get together, her creed would have to wait. She sat in a booth as some of the onlookers worked to get themselves back to order, some of them rattled to the point where they had to leave, out of fear of the catfight that transpired earlier.

He frowned, surly she was wrong? Thomas just met the Neko that day so how could he choose? He knew nothing about her like he had Anna! Still it wasn't right, did this happen often? Guardians and Iron Roses just pulling out weapons and attacking each other in broad daylight!? Thomas wanted to stop Natalie but it was too late as her pregnant booty was all he caught a glimpse off as she waddled out with a huff! Anna had gone to sit in a booth, making the situation more awkward as people started to settle down some. Thomas made his way over to his friend and sat next to her not making eye contact. Was the Neko right? He had only been on this island for three months so he knew little, but being in a faction had nothing to do with peace. Anna probably would have lopped the woman's head off if he hadn't been there. Glancing to her he stared at the Undine. Maybe to understand the factions better he needed to learn about them more. " Say Anna, why did you become a Guardian?" he asked her quietly staring at her with curiosity and concern. Probably the Neko wouldn't mess with him because he was around Anna. Perhaps that was a good thing? It wasn't like Natalie knew where he lived anyway.

"I was born into it, like my mother before me, her mother before her, and these little ones soon to be. The Iron Roses are a backwards, barbaric society that function as Amazons. They don't agree with our ideal of peaceful co-existence and wish to enslave any man that steps foot on this island. They believe that women are dominant and that it is considered weak to welcome men with open arms rather than the heel of their feet."She seemed unnecessarily tense, given the situation had been diffused for about twenty minutes already, with hot breadsticks arriving at their table. Meanwhile, it was all Natalie could do to fight back bitter tears. Being at the bottom of the Roses, she wasn't even allowed a shot at the scraps that her superiors had when it came to suitors. The only reason she even joined up in the first place was the promise of miles and miles of endless men. The only lie she fell for without scrutiny. Now that she had a man she was interested it, who she wanted to date, and he was already taken by one of her order's strongest oppressors. "Damn it! Am I just never going to get ahead in life?" she spat to the heavens as she slowly trudged her way home.

Thomas placed a hand on hers. " Hey, let's just try to enjoy dinner ok? If you get too worked up your little ones will notice your stress." he spoke softly and soothingly. In the back of his mind he was worried about the Neko. She seemed oddly familiar now that he thought about it. Thomas was unaware that she liked him. The neko was cute, especially with her baby bump. Maybe he would talk to her later. There had to be a way to end this rivalry! " Thank you for protecting me Anna. What sort of pizza do you want to get tonight?"

"Would Bacon Hawaiian and olives be too much?" she asked as she rest Thomas' hand on her belly, feeling the little ones inside waking up and wanting to be fed.

" Sure that's fine." he replied after munching on a bread stick. Feeling her grab his hand he blushed when she placed it upon her large tummy. Stopping a moment to scoot a bit closer to her to feel around and smile. " Babies are a beautiful thing...I hope someday I can become a father. It's always been a dream of mine." he cooed quietly feeling around her tummy. To love someone and experience having children with them. That was something Thomas wanted more than anything. Yet, for now he would wait until both factions on this island could find a way to live in peace. Any children he would help create he wanted them to live happy and free. On and island where both Iron Rose and Guardian could become friends. Looking up at Anna he felt around her cool liquid belly before pulling away. " I swear you women make it so hard sometimes. I-I probably shouldn't remain single eh? I-I'm just waiting, though you're one of the few on this island I've considered having children with." he winked pulling away as a pregnant waitress came to take their order. Anna was one of the few he wouldn't mind being with. There were some women that had flirted with him and everything during his stay. Nicolette seemed to be another, she seemed super upset today. Maybe he would give her a call later? Though she was an Iron Rose, and even though he had met her a few times, she seemed nice. Thomas remembered the shy neko girl he accidentally stumbled upon when he first came to the island. She didn't give him her name, and she was barely showing. He hadn't realized that same shy neko was Nicolette until now. Iron Rose or Guardian it didn't matter. He knew what each side stood for, but even if one of them tried to enslave him Thomas figured love was more powerful. Perhaps he would have a discussion with their leaders later. To try and figure out the problem. He was determined to bring peace to this island after living on it for some time now.

(Not sure but is polygamy frowned upon on this island? That could lead to an interesting situation with Thomas, Anna, and Natalie) Their pizza arrived and Anna took the first slice, moaning happily as she too a warm, hearty bite. "Mmm... It just needs a little sugar before it's perfect," she cooed softly as she looked over to Thomas and quickly finishing off the slice. As Thomas started on his own slice, her expression suddenly shifted seriously. "You should forget about her. It's for your own safety, they wouldn't see you as a person, more like a plaything for them and them alone."

(Sure I don't think that would be a problem. :3 never tried that before) Thomas didn't mind the pizza. Relaxing a bit he hadn't realized how hungry he was. Blushing at the Undine's moaning he turned to look at her while she ate. She seemed to enjoy her food as well as her babies as her belly seemed to twitch happily. When she spoke he wasn't sure how to reply. Instead nodded and grabbed another slice scooting closer to her to wrap an arm around her shoulder. " It's a good thing I've got a strong and powerful Undine protecting me then eh?" he flirted laying his head on her shoulder softly.

She smiled before uncharacteristically leaning in to steal a kiss from him. A half hour passed, and Anna had packed away the majority of the pizza, leaning back to stroke her even more distended belly. With a gurgle from her great dome, she blushed and looked to Thomas. "You wouldn't mind walking me back to my apartment, would you? I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach..."
