Sessrumnir grunted as he stumbled but remained upright, lifting his free hand to rub at his shoulder. “No, not really,” he frowned in confusion at the smaller squire, not sure what his deal was. Oh right, this was the sassy one. Go figure.

He turned to look at Ganymede locked inside her cage. She looked like hell, covered in bruises and blood. If it wasn’t for the aura he felt, he would have been sure she was dead. But soon enough she started moving and he breathed a sigh of relief.

“Wait,” he told the squire before he could be dragged along with him. “Ganymede… Do you know where Valhalla is?” Because if she knew, it would definitely save them some time. Hopefully she was aware enough to be able to help.

Perdita ignored Oberon's whining and instead smiled gently at the captive Senshi.

“Yes, we're real,” she said, “and we're going to get you out of here. Are you able to stand?”

She kept looking over her shoulder toward Oberon and the youma, just in case Oberon should fail and they needed to make a quick getaway. But Oberon made a pretty decent swing and was soon joined by another Senshi. The youma's attention turned to this new arrival and Perdita was momentarily grateful for it, though she was sure she and Oberon could have handled it if they had to.

It was always better to have more help. The larger their numbers, the greater their chances of freeing the prisoners before any further harm could be done to them. Like this poor girl—barely older than she or Oberon, but so scared and so abused. Perdita checked her over for any serious injuries, grateful that' she'd not been in this Senshi's place but sad that this girl had to go through it.

“Don't worry,” Perdita said, as reassuringly as she could. “They won't be able to hurt you like this anymore. We'll get out of here and get you to a doctor, okay? After that you can go home. Your family's probably worried about you. They'll be so relieved to see you,” she added, trying to put her mind at ease and turn her attention to happier thoughts. Something to look forward to.

She heard another familiar voice, and Valhalla's name. Ganymede lifted her head as much as she was able. Through blurry vision she saw a figure in green with glowing stones and mahogany hair. It brought tears to her eyes. She whimpered feebly.

“Val...” she said. “Oh, Val...”

It took a moment for the words to process. When they did her tears fell, because this was not Valhalla. She knew that voice. It belonged to Sessrumnir. How had he come to be there? What was going on? Valhalla... he could save Valhalla!

She thought back to the day she'd been brought to Valhalla's cell only to be beaten in front of him, tried to retrace her steps in her mind, but the image was incomplete.

“Val, he's... he's further down the hall. On the right. He's on his knees, chained to the floor. Please hurry, you have to help him. He'll die,” she sobbed and slumped back down to the floor.

Seraphinite's HP: 46

The only reason he showed up was because of Jet. The senshi and knights? Didn't mean anything to him, though he wasn't going to cry over any of the senshi dying--one in particular, he knew was there, he'd been especially pleased about. But the only reason he was there? Was to track down Jet and Aquamarine.

Well. He found them.

It was the shouting and sounds of a cat that got him first, though he'd been confused to see what looked like children facing down a youma not far away. Not his problem. He rounded the door that lead to one of the holding areas, not entirely sure what the <********> he was looking at.

A senshi. Crap. Strong, by the feel of it. And wing bows. Aquamarine. A cat. A freaking talking cat. And... "Back the ******** off," he snarled at the cat, trying to get between Jet and the cat (Liryn). His reward was the claws from the cat, gritting his teeth against the sharp spikes and trying to shake the cat off. Which, really, he did admit to himself was a tad pathetic to be huffing about once he realized Aquamarine was dealing with the senshi. Grabbing the two wooden swords from his belt, he held them both together in two hands, trying to bring them down on the senshi's shoulder (Mintaka)--or really any part of her he could hit to keep her from going after Aquamarine, even with the freaking cat there. And they had even more of them outside. Great. Great. This was why he didn't trust them without him. Apparently that's when everything freaking went to hell.

CELSUS

He felt angry; and stuck. There was hardly anything that he could do, sitting like this with his arms trapped behind him, barely even able to stand. A full fledged Knight of Chronos, and you still can't do anything, Celsus thought irritatedly, a flash of annoyance creeping through his veins that mingled with the pain and the ache that had settled into his bones.

There were noises around now; a mass of sounds that echoed dimly in his ears, and Celsus swayed a little where he knelt, wondering if it was possible for him to stay conscious long enough to be able to get out of here and help those that would need help.

Or maybe he could just lie on the floor and go to sleep, that seemed like a nice option right about now.

Alexandria released Sess's uniform with a small pained noise. Waiting was killing him, but he knew finding out just were Valhalla was was important. Walking away from the Jupiter knight for a moment, Alexandria wondered back to the cage. "Ganymede?? My name is Alexandria." He said, sliding off his hooded jacket and wrapping it around her shoulders. "I'm a friend of Val's. I'm going to find him. We're going to find him. I promise." He said, before glancing at the Venus Squire. "... Can you take care of her from here? I have to go."

Themiscyra's HP: 47

She'd been ready to try and help the Mercury Squire to get the door open when he uh... pulled her out of the way of in incoming ram. For a split second, the six-foot Martian wasn't paying attention to the fact someone far smaller had just grabbed her out of the impact zone. Green. Fur. Tall. Brown hair. For a split second, a grin split across Themiscyra's face, but the laugh that was about to bubble out choked her, shoulders falling when her brain took in the rest of the Knight's appearance. A different Jupiter knight. A strangled sound came from her before she tore her eyes away from him, looking towards Ganymede. The cat and the other knight were already in with her, with the Mercury Squire helping to open up the... cage.

She caught a glimpse of the blood, got an idea of some of the damage, and her fists clenched. But she was alive. She was alive. They'd get her out, find Val and Kairatos and get the <********> out of that messed up place. Burn it to the ******** ground. When she heard Ganymede speak, her blood ran cold. Chained. The knight with the chain at her hip felt bile rise in her throat. she snarled to the other two knights apparently going for Valhalla, "or I'm leaving you behind." They didn't deserve her anger, the rational part of her brain realized that. But she didn't have anything else to lash out at. No one to punch, nothing to break. She already had a hand curled tight around the golden chain, knuckles white and links and nails digging into her palm. Ganymede wasn't going to be alone. Others were still coming, weren't they? They still had more people to find. But at least they knew where to find Valhalla.

AUROSTIBITE (50 / 50)

He knew she was in here; he had seen her, talked to her, had almost tried to get her out of here without anything happening to her - but then all hell had broken loose, and he'd lost his chance. Not that Aurostibite would have gone through with it anyway; his loyalty to the Negaverse was still as absolute as it ever was, but his affections for Mintaka ran deeper and more convoluted than he had ever thought possible.

It was becoming a problem.

He couldn't let it become a bigger problem than it already was.

Aurostibite rounded a corner and saw her - saw several already crowded around her, two Lieutenants of his own rank, by the looks of it, and a cat that was as unfamiliar to him as the two Negaversers were. Mintaka was still on the floor, but she looked dangerously close to passing out, her voice weak, and Aurostibite's heart nearly stopped at the sight of it.

Think. Think.

"Hold it."

He stepped towards the others; there was no pretending that he could actually say or do anything that would make them stop, seeing as how they were all the same rank, and Aurostibite would not have tried anyway. His face, usually a stoic mask of blank emotions, now registered a faint hunger, his eyes glinting as he moved closer to the group.

"I've got a personal score to settle with this one," Aurostibite said flatly, his eyes sliding towards Mintaka before they settled on the hissing cat. "Let me help you."

Megrez's HP: 50
Glitnir's HP: 44
Sadachbia's HP: 45

The trio's travels through the maze was filled with a great deal of cursing, at least from Megrez. "******** mazes," she said over and over again.

After much bumbling around, Glitnir emerged at the end of the maze, spotting two cells. "Guys! I found some more cells!" Only then did he realize that the girls were not with him. "Guys? ...s**t." Shooting conflicted glances between the cells and the maze, he eventually went back into the maze to retrieve the senshi. After even more bumbling around, he found the two and led them out of the maze.

"Those bendy mirrors are ruined for me," Sadachbia said as she exited the maze, glad to not see her distorted reflection anymore. From what she could piece together, she wore her "fuku" pretty well. Nothing quite like looking stylish while kicking butt, right? That was, of course, beside the point, but it was nice to see that she didn't look completely stupid.

Glitnir's mind was on more important matters. "Um... guys, you're bleeding. Megrez, you've got a cut on your arm, and Sadachbia, I think that's glass sticking out of your leg."

Sadachbia's eyes went wide as she looked down and saw that Glitnir was right. "Oh god. Just pull it out quickly. Please."

Megrez knelt down to pull the glass out of Sadachbia's leg, wiping a trickle of blood off her arm with her glove. Maybe she could fool a Nega into thinking the blood wasn't hers. "When did this happen? Okay, here we go." Sadachbia yelped when the glass was pulled out of her leg. "That's done. Give it a bit and it should stop stinging." Her gaze shifted to the cells as she decided which one to enter first...

Megrez is hurt in the maze for 1 damage! Glitnir makes it through! Sadachbia is hurt in the maze for 3 damage!

Metis' HP: 47

Still more people to be freed. Still more obstacles to find them. The hall stretched before her, and Metis frowned. Each step was cautious, at times a quick tap of the toe of her boot against the floor before she pulled back. Nothing moved. Nothing shook. The waves from her own energy bounced off walls innocently enough, and that alone made her more nervous than the moving tiles. She shivered, mind traveling to some of the bobby traps she'd heard about from books or movies. Spikes that jut from the walls, floor, or ceiling, impaling people before they even realized what was going on. Piano wire decapitating someone, or slicing their throats at least.

She edged forward, her mind giving her worse ideas and images than anything else in this funhouse. It was the lack of... anything actually happening that was doing her in. Pathetic, really--but on which side? The Negaverse for her own mind being a worse terror? Or her fault for her usual taste in novels and flicks?

Well nothing was slicing her up, or dropping from the ceiling. She began to move quicker, still finding nothing out of the ordinary.

At least until she moved across a specific tile, apparently. Air gushed out and caught the back of her skirts, a startled cry jolting from Metis before she could stop herself, hands slamming down to push back the fabric. Really? She was not Marilyn Monroe, thank you. A new huff stiffened her spine and pushed her forward, passing a few more vents and unable to really side-step any of them. Not that it hurt, it was just frustrating.

Thus her surprise when it ended, and she found herself faced with... indents in the wall. She moved towards one carefully. A door, she realized, as her hand poked around the surface. "Is anyone in there?" Metis wasn't sure how smart it was to raise her voice too much. For all she knew, a Negaverse agent could come rushing out. But she couldn't catch any other energy waves with the door blocking everything. Hit or miss, really. "Hello?"

Chaldene HP: 45/50

Once he'd gotten past the tunnels the senshi of wisps continued on his way till he reached the next obstacle, as it seemed there was no one jumping out to attack him - yet. He had to remind himself he could be jumped and attacked at any point and he didn't much like that, it made him feel like some kind of paranoid.

The floor tiles were...moving, no sliding. Rolling his eyes he stepped onto the first tile and started to make his way across them, jumping to each one like some retarded game of Frogger. Oh how this was amusing, all they needed was something from both sides swinging out trying to hit him or something. It seemed his method of jumping to each tile was a good idea as he got across the sliding tiles quickly and landed on the other side and continued on his way. "What next? because this really isn't fun." He huffed out to himself, not at all enjoying himself or this fun house. Would he ever look at a fun house the same way again? "Not likely." He muttered to himself.

Nephthys HP: 41/50

Surprise flashed across her face as she heard that voice and turned around, almost losing her balance again. She was good in heels, had been walking in them for years, and yet this had her nerves on such edge and jumpy that it was no wonder she almost fell over. For a single moment she felt like one of those airheaded girls in the screamer horror movies. In an instant that thought was gone as he was lashing out with a foot toward her, oh god!

Her arms came up as she stepped back, hoping to avoid the kick. She didn't manage it though as the foot landed the blow to her arms and sent her reeling backward. Landing on the ground she pushed herself up and stared up at the figure. Standing slowly she steadied herself and determination flashed across her face. Walking right up to him the brunette hauled off and aimed a slap for the others face. "This isn't fun and you've just ruined carnivals for me!" She was not happy about that. She enjoyed going to carnivals with her friends.

The general in his attempt to give orders found himself blasted by dollface's arrows. He stumbled back and growled irritatedly only be pelted in the face by a shoe and moments later encased in weird blue beads. He attempted escape of course, but it was useless, so instead he summoned his dagger back to his hand and his crystal to his the other calling for backup.

The little one that trapped him in the beads seemed to have disappeared but the others were still about.

"Dollface, seems you've made friends with the traitor. That's okay. Now I can kill you both, but the little senshi stays here. I think I'd like to add her to my collection."

He tossed his dagger at the dark mirror hard and fast and grinned at a pop beside him knowing help had arrived.

"Oh great one of the ones from the roof," the incoming general said as he quickly strung up three arrows and fired them off at the pair of eternals. To shoot three arrows at once, one had to have precision and great aim, so for now the little senshi wasn't in danger of being hit.

General One took his sword and attempted to break free of his prison.

CELSUS

It was difficult to tell who was where, what was happening, and even where he was, exactly. Celsus had long since lost track of time, and he was rapidly losing track of everything else as well. There was a cloud of fuzziness across his thoughts, his head feeling heavy, too laden down with spinning thoughts that made him dizzy and a little nauseated. All he knew was that he was still kneeling on the floor, hunched over with his head hanging down so that his back throbbed painfully from being stuck in such a position for so long.

He thought he heard something - a voice, somewhere nearby. Celsus blinked, trying to assuage some of the bleariness in his vision and lifted his head, wincing at the stiffness of his own body.

There was definitely a voice now; closer, though still muffled, and the door was still closed, so whoever it was, was outside of the room that he was currently in. Celsus opened his mouth to answer, but no sound came out; he gave a wheezing cough and tried again.

"Here," he said hoarsely. "I'm in here, we're in here. I'm not...we're not Negaverse."

The purple senshi watched with wide eyes at the pure rage that came from Chariklo, something of a shiver going through her at an uncomfortable reminder of another time. At least there were no visions this time... nothing to cripple her in the middle of battle. She had thought she was working her way through this, but... maybe it would never really go away.

When the DMC came to join her, Ida started and came back to herself, shifting to let the sheer cloth get wrapped tight to stop the blood.

"Its okay, Chari, don't worry about it... It can wait till after we get our people out, I'll be fine." She reached to squeeze one of her friend's hands once she finished the tie off, her eyes turning towards the General. Beads sprang up around him and a tight smile pulled at her lips. Wonderful Athene... they were a team, now and always.

"Come on, now is our chance..." She said as she shifted to move, but the new aura in the room pulled her up short as a second general joined the trapped first. "Look out!"

Ida shouted warning as arrows flew, squirming to dodge them with marginal success... she felt them graze her, cutting fine lines that stung almost as badly as the deeper cut in her shoulder for how shallow they were. Ducking to grab a bit of broken wood from the floor, Ida threw it desperately at the second general, hoping to keep his attention on her.
