Neat! There's a tour. He set down his water bottle near a drinking fountain and hurried to catch up.
There was a different guide this time. Maybe he wouldn't notice if Adamaz went back and got another one, either. If he got enough bottles, Adamaz figured he could have a set. Maybe Aerona could have one? If there's one thing he had learned at the Fluid Redistribution Center, it's that hydration is very important.

Darn. Adamaz couldn't find a second tour this time. At least his good water bottle was still under the drinking fountain. He filled up his new one, and started looking for his way out.
Adamaz passed the drone that he had watched fix a leaky pipe. He waved at the drone. The drone gave him a brief stare, and got back to work.
Neat.

Adamaz kept a keen eye out for a tour on this walk.
There's one.
The tour guide was the woman again. They must have only two tour guides in this place.
You learn something new every day.
And, if you're lucky, you also get a new water bottle every day.

Adamaz stepped down the main hall with his prize. He felt like the portraits were glaring at him . Perhaps this water bottle was... one too many?
In a moment of sudden inner conflict, Adamaz froze. This water bottle thing had gotten out of hand. Would he ever need as many water bottles as had been given by - or stolen from - this place?
Papa Roach hissed to Adamaz that they needed two more bottles for the dining table, if everyone seated were to have one, and if one was to be given as a gift.
Oh yeah. Thanks, dad.
The inner conflict ended, Adamaz left the station.

Adamaz had begun to know the tour guides by name, now. Not that they responded to him.
They accepted his presence now. Adamaz could sense confusion from them as they saw the same face they had seen two days previously. As though one more level of monotony was overwhelming.
One more bottle, and Adamaz would complete his dinner table spread. Huzzah!

Adamaz headed to the place where the pipes were greened and the smells reminded him of a good nights sleep; the Sopor Distribution Facility.
The last time he had been her, he hadn't noticed the informational pamphlets. He picked one up. It was soggy and full of nothing but line after line of text. Papa Roach helped him read it (he wasn't very good at reading; he preferred pictures). The word "fluid" was repeated dozens of times per page.
Wow. Who knew fluid was so important. Adamaz sure didn't.

This time, Adamaz didn't intend to walk into the station. It was just a good place to go.
One of the portraits was crooked. Adamaz thought to straighten it, but in a way, the tilt added a kind of style to the portrait, and to the entire room. You do you, crooked portrait. You do you.

Nothing like the ol' Water Distribution Plant.
Papa Roach skittered down Adamaz' arm and fluttered to the floor. Adamaz stopped as he watched the roach skitter under a pipe.
Adamaz stood around for a few moments. No one was around.
Papa Roach returned carrying... a bolt? Adamaz smiled. Papa Roach was just getting a souvenir for the walk.
Dimly, Adamaz wondered if he had removed it from a pipe or simply found it discarded. Adamaz decided to make his way out of the facility.

The fluid redistribution station was still running the next day. Papa Roach's bolt souvenir was clearly among the things at the FRS that were utterly unimportant.
There was a fluorescent bulb in the main hall that was flickering. Adamaz stared at it for a while before continuing his wanderings.

While walking along the halls of the water distribution station, Adamaz saw another drone. He watched it check the pressure levels of the pipes. Once, it had to turn some valves.
The life of a drone is chock full of intrigue and surprises, as Adamaz learned that day.

Adamaz's walk took him to the FRS again. By the green stains on the floor, he knew he was in the Sopor plant.
Adamaz heard a sticky slosh and found himself standing in a sopor puddle. He scowled. Great; a new stain on his sneakers. He'd have to go wash it out. Maybe there was a puddle in the Water Distribution Plant he could use. He stepped out of the puddle, removed his shoes and socks, and began to make his way; barefoot. It would be a soggy trek home. Darn fluids.

It occurred to Adamaz that there was so much more to see at the sopor plant. He decided to return there on his next walk to do some exploring (keeping an eye out for puddles this time).
Adamaz didn't see any puddles. In fact, the puddle that was there last time was cleaned up. Thanks, drone!
Adamaz caught a glimpse of a weird vat that a lot of laborers were working with. He watched for a little bit before he figured out what they were doing: redistributing the fluid in the vat into another vat. Man, what a job.

Adamaz was blown away by the EXPLOSIVE ACTION happening at the FRD. There was a valve that burst, and he was right there to see it. Green sopor spewed out; more sopor than he had ever seen. He stared at the gushing torrent of sleepy slime for a moment, aback. Then he started looking for a drone.
He ended up finding one of the ones he'd seen repair pipes before. He led him to the leak, and the drone set to work.
By the time he was done, the place was spotless. No one but Adamaz, the drone, and whoever read the drones lengthy report, would even know that fluid was almost improperly redistributed. Improperly, no longer.
The drone gave Adamaz a pat on the head. Adamaz smiled. Papa Roach deftly dodged the hand, and chittered wildly at the drone. Watch your hand, buddy!

Adamaz wandered around the Sopor station again. He didn't know why he'd been drawn here recently, but it had always seemed like the place to be.
Everything normal at the site of the spill a few days ago. That drone did a good job fixing things.
Adamaz found a nice spot to sit (someplace not soggy and clear of any leaky pipes) and took out his harmonica. He warmed up his lips and strummed out a tune before he was shooed away by a drone.

It finally happened. After all this time... another tour to join.
The last free water bottle was handed to him (by the lady guide this time) and he accepted it smiling. She frowned at him, and asked him what he does with them.
Adamaz looked up. "I don't know," he said flatly. "What do most people do with souvenirs?."
The woman looked at him oddly, and turned away saying nothing.
When Adamaz got home, he added it to his collection. The dining set was complete. Nice!
