Troll: Keionx Rutace Partner: Vremea Everai Four Fronds and Shopping and Dress up... The future was looking bright. Now if only the present was! Dresses might be impractical for fighting, but armor - fake as it was - was impractical for dancing. The joints were beginning to lock up on her, and she was tiring... she'd been doing good deeds all day, and that and the dancing was starting to catch up with her... Current point total: 112+1

Giving Keionx another twirl, Vremea managed to not step on her younger partners toes, but stumbled a lot while trying to keep their balance. With a few extra steps Vremea lead them a little clumsily into the last round of the song, feeling quite sure she was to blame for their awkward dancing but making no comment. A few last movements and the song rang with closure-- Vremea lifted her head, then curtsied a little, smiling at Keionx. "T'was a pleasure dancing with you, young knight." She murmured, bowing her head slightly and then standing up normally, patting her shoulder. "You danced magnificently. It was a lot of fun. I hope we can do this again!

Aandes may have made a mistake. Rasali was dead quiet in her spot, standing still and unmoving. It wasn't really a dance contest without dancing, and the two of them stared at eachother for an uncomfortable moment before Aandes felt the heat rising in his face. There was no way to read her expression. He was at a loss.
Had he embarrassed himself? Had he shown weakness? He was sure that he would destroy Rasali at this competition, but this feeling of confusion was telling him otherwise. He couldn't keep dancing while she was standing still, and it was the last song of the night's festivities. And overall: he couldn't commit to this. Aandes cleared his throat and bowed slightly. Maybe he wouldn't win, but he'd escape with some dignity. He began to shuffle backwards, away from his partner.

[ Rasali's thoughts were moving so fast they looped back around into white noise. Physically, at least, she returned to reality as she realized Aandes was no longer around to hold her up. She straightened her posture and continued gaping at Aandes for a little longer. That... That was...
Nice was the first word that came to Rasali's mind and she risked blanking out all over again for it. Rasali, at her core, was not the kind of person who over-thought things. She saw, she decided, she acted. Aandes was a special case. With all his careful watching and plotting--he made Rasali be sneaky and she hated him for it.
That was the decision, she realized.
"A- Aandes! What're you doing; get back here!" Rasali burst out of her stupor with a surprisingly graceful lunge and grab, spinning them both on the slick floor. "Don't just kiss me and bail! God, Aandes, you're so uncool! I--!"
Rasali grabbed Aandes' torso in a vice-like dance hold. Her cheeks puffed out indignantly, covered in a blush so intense it threatened to leak into her hairline.
"I hate guys like you!"
Rasali heaved herself up and returned the peck just as the last song ended. ]

Humming to himself Skae let his movements slow until he came to a stop, no matter that there were other couples still spinning around on the floor. His sense of time was telling him that it was past the time that Taldad had allotted him for public appearances. Or rather, he hadn't thought that he'd found a partner that would have stood his presence for so long. "Hey, H-hey I had a lot of fun! Thanks for being so patient with me. I l-live in Chitten Town, so if y-you're ever in the area come say hi?"
With that he grinned and gave Nervit a very awkward bow before turning and trotting off the dance floor.

As the music winds down, the speakers switch on with an abrupt blast of static, and a slightly peevish, whiney voice slicing through the previous mood like a knife. "Attention! Attention! Is this thing even - Hurf! Couple number #5624, you are disqualified! It stated clearly in the rules that using a four step syncopation with the partner on the left leading is clearly illegal! A-hem, anyway! The prize goes to the runner up couple, number #3502. Come up to fill in the necessary paperwork right now!" Congratulations, your trolls won!You each get one free alternate art of your troll in clothing they would be wearing at a party or celebration. When you are ready please post here using the prize form! Disqualified! Ouch! All trolls are welcome to wrap up conversations with their dance partners. For competing, each user gets 1EP. Each troll can also count this as a growth.

”Agreed!” Keionx said, grandly, bowing. ”Twas a pleasure for me as well...” she looked up, surprised, as the winners were announced.
Her?! And Vremea?! After their dancing performance?! Not that Keionx didn't like to win, but... She looked at the greenblood couple that had been disqualified... had that been fair?
Hmm...
Normally, Keionx would grandly and overly-generously offer the prize to the greenbloods (regardless of whether they WERE disqualified or not), but it wasn't just her winning it, but Vremea. She realized, suddenly, that that meant that it wasn't just her decision to make...
And Vremea actually deserved it.
She smiled up at the teen. ”Well, Lady Vremea?” she asked, holding out her arm, ”Shall we?”
