 Taini grinned down at Tsukiko and almost laughed out loud. The little choclate haka was always so... happy.
"Well, its good we're out then. Have some fun on this spring day," The blonde shoved his hands into his pockets and waited for Tsukiko to start walking, as he was going where ever the Haka wanted to go.
A winter marriage... it was a bit off...but, he was already trying to figure out what he could carve for the little haka for a present.

 "guess what?" Tsukiko asked and started walking off in a random direction, looking back at the other. "I've been working real hard to make you something. I even put aside all my unfished projects to make it for you. Close your eyes and hold out your hands" He said to the gehaka.

The blonde gehaka's eyebrow's raised. He tilted his head slightly, as if confused. Tsukiko had already given him the doll, in return for his "under" skilled doll (at least in his eyes). He nodded though, and closed his blue eyes. Slowly his hands were held up.
"Alright little one."

Tsukiko placed a doll in the other's hands. This one though looked like the blonde gehaka, with the same hairstyle and clothes and all. The haka gave Taini a small kiss on the lips before saying "you can open your eyes now"

Taini bit his lip, and slowly opened his eyes. Tsukiko seemed to like to kiss him. He stared down at the doll inhis hands in utter shock, once again.
"...its...me?" He held it up with his strong arms to his eye level. "Tsukiko...." He laughed a bit, and smiled more. "Thank you." He leaned down and placed a kiss on the haka's forehead.
"Now, a nice walk in the park Tsukiko."

"your welcome" The haka replied happily. "you're just so cute that I had to make one of you!" Tsukiko than took the gehaka's hand and started to pull the ohter along. "how come you're never full of energy? Are you unhappy all the time or are you just like that? Nobody seems to be energized lately" He asked the other as they walked. He then pointed to a flower. "it's so pretty! don't you agree?"

Taini let himself be pulled along, blushing slightly at the cute remark. He was cute?
"Its just you're always so full of energy, enough for the both of us. I need to be serious! I have to keep an eye out to protect you Tsukiko. Just in case...." He tried to look serious though he was having fun. He nodded to Tsukiko at the flower. The Haka seemed to like them...

"protect me from what? nothing's going to happen from me. You worry too much. Just relax hunny" Tsukiko said to him before walking on. He looked around for awhile. "is there a bench or somewhere around here?" He asked the blonde one. "I'm starting to get a bit tired"

The blonde gehaka rolled his eyes for a moment. Tsukiko just didn't understand, it was his job as the first/only to be husband of the little haka to watch out for him. That was how Taini had been raised...not that he had ever thought he would have protected anyone just a scant few days ago...
"Hunny?" He chuckled a bit, his lighter side showing through. He just smiled, nodded, and led the choclate haka to a bench nearby.
"Here you are Tsukiko."

"yeah, you're hunny. since you gave me the nickname little one, I decided to give you a nickname" Tsukiko pointed out as he sat on the bench. He looked up at the other and smiled faintly. It was tiresome being the fun one all the time.

Taini lifted his eyebrows for a moment, then smiled. He leaned over and wrapped an arm around the haka.
"Alright then little one, I guess this is the way it is going to be then?" He movec his other arm, and put a finger under the choclate colored chin. The blonde gehaka was feeling a little daring, so as he tilted Tsukiko's face up, he leaned down and kissed him tenderly.
"And I'm glad it'll be this way." He said after he parted their lips.

Tsukiko blushed and giggled. "I'm happy the way things are turning out" He said and looked around before glancing bacck to the other. "I guess it was a good thing that I let go of my silly dream of falling in love. Love probably doesn't even exist"

The pale brows came together. Silly dream? He had asked his mother's second husband about it when he had finaly come home. Love.
The way the red headed gehaka had explained it... it was pretty much what Taini was feeling for Tsukiko. And it hurt the tall gehaka to hear that he had made the little haka give up on such a thing.
"Little one, love...does exisit. And I'm sorry that you...had to give it up, if you feel that way." His troubled blue eyes sought the ground. His wings twitched uncomfortably. But most of all his heart hurt. "...I think... I love you Tsukiko-san."

Tsukiko raised a brow at the other. "That's nice that you're in love but you hardly see love anywhere. Once when I was little, I thought I saw it and I wanted love but...I don't know. I don't even know what love feels like" He said, frowning. "why don't you tell me what love feels like" The brown haka suggested. "because I don't know. Whenever I'm around you, I feel all tingly"

Taini nodded, then began to explain softly. Even as he began to explain how he felt, and what Mako (his mother's second husband) had said as well his shoulder's began to relax and the blue eyes closed.
"The way Mako put it was...love is when you deeply care about some one. When all you want to do is protect them from everything that could ever hurt them, and to give them everything that could make them smile. Only the best. He said love can be many things... listening and obeying because it is what we are, nuturing the young to have them become strong, to protect others from harm, and to indeed give them the best." He took a deep breath. The next part would be unsettling for the gehaka.
"But then I told Mako how I feel... and...he says it is love." The blush began to play on the pale gehaka's cheeks," I cannot stop thinking of Tsukiko-san. About his smile, his words, his hair, the way he treats everything with care. I remember holding him in my arms... and I want to hold him more. I can't wash the thoughts of his kisses out of my mind... and I repeatedly find cuts on my hand, when it should be on the wood. I love Tsukiko-san's smile. I want to see it more often. I always want to be where he is. I don't want him to frown, or be dissappointed, or to cry. Whatever he wants...I want to be able to give it to him. I feel a rush of things around him. I feel warm, tingly, happy, nervous... too many things. Even if I reach out and just touch a strand of his hair... or just see him thinking on something...That is what I told him..."
The blonde trailed off for a moment, a deeper red than ever before. The gehaka almost turned away, and was trembling a bit. How would Tsukiko react?
"Mako told me...that was love indeed."
