Zero Omega Shrimp_Man Zero Omega Shrimp_Man AtSJust wanted to point out that there have been weeks when there was no AtS but no notice given on staff alerts. Can it be more consistent with the notices. I'm guessing the weeks where it's been missing were weeks where Zero was out. I can't recall a time where we haven't given notice of there not being an ATS, the only thing that does come to mind is when we know ahead of time that there won't be an ATS when we announce our normal ATS, we'll mention that in the usual ATS announcement. I honestly don't recall a time we have missed that, I'm sure it's probably possible if we've been crazy busy or something, but I know we typically try to get a message out before ATS starts that we'll be delaying it.

I sent a detailed email to Usertalk almost four weeks ago and a reminder email last Friday; the event I wanted spotlighted ends in less than a week, and we would love to secure a single site-wide announcement to promote it. Site-wide announcements are how we bring in the bulk of our benefactors and new members, so we're always grateful to receive them. Thank you! It's been forwarded along!

I mean the thing where each aspect of the site was talked about re:plans. For example, it would talk about the status of the mobile app and how much longer it's expected to be before its released. It'd also talk about the server migration, what the end of flash will mean for parts of the site, what games are being turned into html5 versions currently, what big bugs have been fixed lately, whats happening with gold and plat and inflation, and what part of the site Gaia is revamping or releasing soon. Could someone in the know set up a quarterly State of the Website announcement/site notice? That sounds like a good idea, we will put together an announcement later.

Friday's don't work because at the end of the week we are usually wrapping things up. Wednesday and Thursday just seem to be late in the week, so Tuesday gets it smile

It was a lot less scary of a number to be constantly full We had a lot of servers issues last week and the limit was raised because people had trouble catching them. We will set it back down soon.

There have been changes implemented on Gaia that are often not mentioned via staff alert, and can often be found via staff post in places such as Site Feedback, Lanzer's journal, and Gaia Community Discussion, such as the disabling of coding in gift messages. Could a devlog become a thing at the end of a week that lists all changes, be they major or minor? Or at least an alert that leads back to Lanzer's journal with the changes he publishes? Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into a change log type of listing for keeping track of our features and bug fixes.

In these cases, when I find a bug in the item and post it in the item bugs thread, is it looked at? Who fixes the artistless items? Who is this superhero willing to fix one of the longest standing bugs that ruins a favourite avi:  We still fix issues with older items! If the original artist is no longer around, someone else usually takes a look at it. But unfortunately not everything can be fixed. As far as I know, the glitch thread is mostly up to date. Besides donating. Are there projects you can't get to we could help with? Would it help if we compiled lists of references for interesting themes? Compile lists with minimal help from staff that could be useful, like the guides in Guides and Resources but with some confirmation. Lists of anything really? Can we all brainstorm some ideas for a cool community project that might help bring in new members? There is a fan animation project idea, does that seem interesting? (I asked near the end of last week but figured there wasn't enough time to answer. Also I say lists because that's what I can do but I'm sure people would love to do all sorts of things. I saw someone mention giving royalties to Gaia if they could do merch, though I know that's a tricky one) Thank you for the offer. We currently have our hands full in the current projects, but if we have the bandwidth to involve the Gaia community in any aspect I will definitely not hesitate to ask. Will check out the animation project later today.
