  ☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷ She stuck her tongue out, even though Seth couldn't see it, at him complaining about her being lazy. She smiled when Seth said she could keep it, shoving the shell into one of her pockets. The water looked so pretty as they stood right by it. Well, as Seth was standing by it. She could see a funny reflection of herself in the water, which made her laugh. She made weird faces, which had even stranger reflections in the water, and that made her laugh even more. She saw a fish swim quickly underneath, and watched it go out into the ocean. She could see all sorts of things, even from at the height she at, in the crystal clear water. "Seth, look, there's a conch shell right there!" Great! Thankfully Clara knew some people who actually have some surf boards. Shin followed her as she swam back to the shore. He nodded and sat by the shore where he left his shirt and towel. Since it'll be a while before she'd come back, the boy lay down on his back as he stretched his arms. Since both of them are beginners in this sport he wondered who'd be able to garner more wipe outs, him or Clara.
Shin immediately sat back up after he when he heard her laughter. She was already on her knees brushing off the sand. That must have hurt, but as usual Clara just didn't mind it and continued to walk over to his side. The boy did rushed over meet her halfway and took the board from her hand. I knew I should have come with. He chuckled. Yep! Just one more thing. Placing the board on the sand he then took the leash and put it on. Safety first! He then stood up and grabbing the board letting it hang from his arms sideways and waited if Clara would be doing just the same. Once that was settled he sprinted to back to the water letting the board float beside him. Come on. The waves are getting bigger! He shouted back to her.

Maybe two beginners in surfing going in the water without supervision what soever was not a good idea after all. He had been basing everything from his previous observations from the surfers in the past. And right now it is pretty blurry right now. So when Clara asked him what they were to do next he was caught off guard. "Uhm... Well..." He said elongating the words as much as he can to buy more time to think. Once surfing comes to mind, one would always think a person riding a board, right? But did they do that while waiting for the waves? Normally they... "I'm not sure but I see them sitting on the board while waiting for a wave to come or do they already stand on it while waiting for the waves to come?" He said twisting his lips though it was more like he was telling it to himself than to Clara. Shrugging it of he decided to go with the latter.
Shin pulled himself onto the surf board without even waiting on Clara's response, mainly because he wanted to test if it would be safe or even right if they were to stand on it without any waves yet. Now that both of his feet was hanging on the side, he then tucked his feet and slowly tried to stand, keeping his knees bent while his hands balances his weigh. Once he was successfully able to stand, he stood up straight placing both of his hands on his waist. I guess this surfing thing is not hard after all. He said proudly down at Clara flashing a toothy grin. That did not last long though since a small wave came throwing him off balance. The board flung into the air while Shin submerged into the water letting out a few air bubbles before swimming back up to the surface. He pulled the board closer and rested his arms on it coughing out the water that he had taken in. Maybe standing on the board was not a very good idea.

He looked over to the reflection in the water only to see her making weird expressions and couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Just what do you think you're doing." he tried pulling a smiley face, only to realise how idiotic he looked and sighed, maybe he shouldn't smile after all, maybe that was for the best, just in case he gives others nightmares.
He picked up his pace after she mentioned there was a conch shell. He walked over to it and bent down do pick it up, staring at it a little before lifting it up for her. "Here you go. Do you like it?" Little did he know that there were still sea water inside the shell and it poured over his head, not that he minds anyway. He could use a shower.

☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷ She smiled happily when Seth laughed and asked what she was doing. She felt giddy and childish, and most of all, happy. She saw the reflection of her friend trying to make a smiley face and laughed. "Do that face again!" It was surprising how Seth, who was fairly stoic and quiet, was making her laugh so much. She was practically having little fits of giggles every few seconds, making herself wonder if she was drunk or having a panic attack or something.
The sudden change in altitude again made her feel like she was on a carnival ride. "Yes I do. Thank you!" She covered her mouth to prevent her from laughing when the water in the shell poured on his head, which also got on her lap as well. She giggled a little before apologizing, "Sorry 'bout that." She tried to dry the top of his head with the bottom of her shirt, but it wasn't exactly the best towel. Instead, his hair was now messy and still wet. She smoothed it back into place by patting it down where it stuck out. He sighed as she laughed at his reflection and requested for him to do it again. "No. You're taking this opportunity to make fun of me again aren't you." but then again, maybe if he relaxed his expression a little more.. No. He looked exactly the same, maybe he just couldn't smile by his own free will.
He could hear her laugh as the water poured down on his head, he pouted a little but soon ends up laughing along anyway. He looked at the water and for the first time he actually saw what he looked like when he was laughing, it felt strange. The water trickled down his face from his hair as she tried to wipe it off with her shirt. He can tell that his hair looks extremely messy right now, but he could care less about it, he was having fun. "You certainly have your way of fixing." he stared at the reflection, "Why don't you try listening to the shell. You can hear the ocean." he asked.

☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷ "No I'm not! Your smiles really do look nice." She reached down to his mouth by looking at the water, and gently tugged at the corners of his mouth. "You really should do it more often." She wondered why he didn't, maybe it had something to do with his past. It was so nice to have such a peaceful moment where they could both laugh and smile together. "Hey, at least your hair's a bit drier now. It's not that bad." She tried to defend her shabby attempt to fix his hair. She took one of her shirt sleeves and dried off his face since she saw the water flow onto it.
She held up the shell to her ear and could hear the ocean, but most likely because she was right next to it. The waves sounded louder when the shell was up against her ear, so you must be able to hear the ocean with it. "I think it really does work." She lowered the shell to Seth's ear, and pressed it up against his ear slightly. "Well, it doesn't look too bad. I don't think I can, it's rare to come across someone as straightforward as you are." he stated his thoughts as he stared at the reflection when she tugged on the corners of his mouth. He looked even worse that way. He was startled as he saw something yellow covering his face, only to find out that it was her sleeve when she moved her hands away. He stopped walking as he felt his nose starting to itch and quickly covered his mouth before sneezing. "Sorry." he continued walking and smiled as she defended her attempt to fix his hair.
He stared out into the ocean as she listened to the conch shell, the sun shone directly abve them as it seemed to be around noon. He spaced out for a little while but soon snapped out of it as he felt something against his ear, the sound of the ocean resonates in the shell, it was loud, yet soothing at the same time. "It's nice listening to it, isn't it?" he walked a little deeper into the ocean until the water touched his knees, he thought it would be nice to look at the fishes in the sea, he didn't know what else to do. It felt strange as the fishes brushed against his legs, but he didn't mind.

☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷☷ "Of course you can smile. You may think it looks bad, but I thinks it looks nice." She rested herself against his head a little, relaxed. "It's OK. If you have to sneeze, you have to sneeze." It felt so nice to feel the sun against her skin, the wind blowing through her hair. She realized she was moving as Seth walked a little deeper into the water, the fish gathering around his feet. "Be careful of any sea urchins." She warned. It did look really so nice. "It really is so relaxing here isn't it.. Now I want to go in the water.." She contemplated it, and she could just take her shoes off and throw them towards the sand and ruin her socks. At the same time, she still wanted to stay on Seth's shoulders, this height was amazing. She deserved it for being short for forever. He felt a little weight on his head but laughed as she mentioned he had a nice smile, she was probably the first one who told him that. Sea urchins, he never really thought about it, but now that she's mentioned it, he grew a little wary when he walked around in the water.
"You sure you want to go into the water with that attire? We can always come again next time, but for now why don't you enjoy being tall for once." He joked and looked down at his clothes as he said, leather jacket and jeans aren't exactly what someone would wear to the beach.

She didn't know why she kept on touching it, she had nothing else to do with her hands. She looked at the colorful fish swimming by, seemingly not afraid of Seth. It was probably weird to see two clothed people, one tall and one incredibly short, in the middle of the water. She nearly jumped up off Seth's shoulders when she saw a starfish. She pointed at it quickly, and said "Look, it's Patrick! Let's see if we can find SpongeBob nearby." "Tomorrow? Well, I'm free tomorrow. Sure." He wasn't busy tomorrow, so why not come to the beach again. He didn't quite mind when she kept on patting his head, it's been quite a while since anyone has done so. He looked over to where she pointed, there was indeed a starfish laying in the sand, he couldn't help but laugh as she mentioned spongebob. "I suppose Spongebob's going to be you." She was wearing something yellow after all, it's not like they could find a sponge in the water.

She was having so much fun "This isn't Spongebob this is Jake the Dog! From Adventure Time. What kinds of shows do you watch?" Adventure Time was her favorite show, and so it made her wonder what Seth's was.
