Jet looked amused at the Lucario before flying to Trinity for the weights. He was loaded up once more to train some more. Once Torch and Saph ate, Trinity returned them and broke down the tent. "Ok guys, we're moving on. Jet still needs to train so he will be kept out to finish his weights." Trinity explained as she put on her backpack.

Shadow nodded in understanding before starting to follow Trinity, secretly eager to get to Pewter City so he could see if the Gym Leader was a good opponent; after all, if he was chosen to lead a Gym, then he must be good at Pokémon Battles, right?

Trinity exited Viridian forest and smiled seeing the road that would lead them to Pewter City. She helped Jet take off the weights and she returned him. She smiled to Shadow seeing that he was eager to get to the city. "What's got you so eager to get to the city, Shadow?" She asked curious.

Shadow turned a little pink - seriously, screw the Dark-typing, he was definitely starting to think she was psychic. "I-I'm not eager!" he insisted, though he wasn't fooling anyone. "I'm just curious to see whether the Gym Leader we're going to battle is worth my time." Translation: since he was a Fighting-type, he was eager for a good fight.

Trinity snickered at him before bursting his bubble sadly. "Shadow, to be honest, I might not use you in the gym battles maybe if the others are having trouble but I am planning on using Jet and Saph. From what I looked up, this gym is rock and ground type. Though your typing and level would give me an advantage, the others need the experience more. I promise you can fight in the next gym." she said. A trainer stepped up to her and without asking for a battle threw out his Sandshrew. Trinity almost squealed at how cute the little Pokemon was as she tossed out Saph. Saph blinked in shock at being in a battle before standing up straighter to prove himself. "Saph, start off with a tackle." Trinity said ready to get this battle underway. Saph nodded and did his attack but the Sandshrew dodged and dug down. The little water type started to panic. "Calm down, Saph remember your training with Shadow." Trinity said serious. Saph forced himself to calm and try to meditate then move as he did so. This allowed him to dodge the Sandshrew that popped out of the ground.

Shadow deflated a little, but hid it quickly, crossing his arms. "'S fine... 's the first Gym, so he'll probably be a pushover anyway - not worth my time," he "mumbled", his tone indicating he was sulking a little. Fortunately, he recovered rather quickly, watching Saph's battle with interest and smirking slightly when he saw the little blue turtle using his training.

Trinity got Saph to attack once more and the Sandshrew was defeated. The trainer sent out a Diglett. Trinity returned Saph and sent out Torch. Once more, Torch cheered as he was in a battle before quickly calmed himself. "Torch, scratch." She ordered. Happily, the fire bird ran at the other Pokemon. The Diglett grunted as he was attacked before also digging. Torch didn't have to be reminded to use Shadow's training before he stood right where the Diglett was going to pop up. Once it popped up, Torch happily/evilly blasted in the face with Ember. Trinity was surprised again by one of her Pokemon when they used a new attack. The Diglett passed out. The trainer sighed before handing over money and walking to Pewter City. Trinity returned Torch before looking at Shadow, "I think training is going pretty well." She said smiling. "Now I'm pretty sure you were sulking over there for a minute. You think you will be ok with out a fight? I can let you face off with the Gym leader's last Pokemon usually that one is the strongest on the team." Trinity offered the fighting type.

Shadow brightened slightly at that, but still tried to maintain his air of nonchalance and tough-guy attitude, not realizing that it was as transparent as glass. "Sure, I guess I can help you out. If nothing else, it'll help to pass the time and keep Saph and Torch from having to fight anyone out of their league," he agreed "grudgingly". (Translation: "HELL YEAH, LEMME AT 'EM!")

Shadow glanced away shiftily. "I have no idea what you're talking about." ...Yep, still transparent as a window - an open window at that. Seeming to abruptly lose interest in the subject, he picked Torch up and put him on his shoulder just like the little guy wanted, nodding to Trinity's suggestion as he followed her.

Trinity rolled her eyes at Shadow before looking at her Poketch. She looked through the apps to see her food finder. She looked through the options and found a nice restaurant next to the PokeMart. She lead her group to the restaurant. The trainer saw that it was a restaurant where people were placed in individual rooms. She got a large room. Saph and Jet settled themselves on the pillow seats. (( The room )) Trinity shrugged as she sat down. Torch smirked before sitting in another pillow forcing Shadow to sit next to Trinity. Jet snickered while Saph looked confused. A waiter can in and asked what Trinity would like to order. it would be served buffet style (aka Japanese Style ). Trinity ordered a lot of PokeBlocks being sure to get different flavors for her team while also getting human food to feed herself and them.
Shadow gave Torch a discreet glare, knowing full well what he was up to, before sitting down in the remaining seat, firmly forcing down the blush that was threatening to rise to his cheeks. Instead, he focused on the food, taking some for himself once it came and starting to eat.

Torch looked cutely at Shadow and said, "I don't know why you are glaring at me. I just want to eat and I figure you want to sit next to Trinity." Jet snickered louder at Shadow before wing-fiving Torch. Trinity looked confused at the three Pokémon before plating some food for Saph. "Aren't they weird, Saph?" She said to the little Squirtle. Saph nodded as he started to eat. Trinity started to relax and sipped on her juice.
Shadow's eye twitched slightly; adorable or not, he was sorely tempted to drag Torch (and possibly Jet too) outside and give him a good a**-kicking at that moment, if only to make the little Fire-type stop sassing him. Still, he pointedly focused on his food, refusing to give the two birds the satisfaction of getting to him as he ate.
