The first text had Molly staring at it for a while, a bit dubiously. A request for a mission...did that mean she had to go? She was debating the meaning behind the wording when she got a second text, which pretty much determined what she'd be doing for this mission. The second text had caused her to nearly throw her phone across her room in surprise, but she managed to keep a hold of it. She hadn't seen or heard from him since he left on his mission, and now he was at the lighthouse portal to go on another mission!?

Text to Dakota: Yes be right tjefhrjwjfrwhere!!!.!!

Luckily she always had a bag packed for missions, so that was easy to grab, and her coat and scarf was always neatly laid out, so that wasn't a problem either. Once she was ready to go, to pulled her hair back into a bun and skittered out the door.

Upon arriving at the lighthouse, her eyes scanned the crowd eagerly for Dakota, who luckily wasn't too hard to spot. She let out a strangled gasping cry and dove through the crowd to him. "SHAWTY!" Once she was close enough to lunged at him, pulling him into a tight hug.

"He's the biggest a*****e I know, but it sure is nice to meet you." Tuck replied with a huge grin, leaning in to whisper conspiratorially, "He makes me do the ********' dishes, Nora. You mind if I snag a cookie?"

When Noemi approached, Tuck's whole demeanor softened just a little, just for her. "Hey, little bit. How you doin', sweetheart?"

Tuck felt a hand slip around his arm, and he half expected to glance down and find Heidi. It wasn't Heidi. It wasn't Heidi at all.

It was Trouble. Trouble with a capital 'T' - the kind of Trouble his mama had always warned him about. The kind of Trouble with an a** that could bring a man to his knees.

Tuck glanced at Evan, giving him A Look before he turned his attention back to the woman who was holding his arm with the sort of familiarity that wouldn't have been bad at all if he didn't have a ... s**t, what was he thinking about?

"I'm Tuck, ma'am. Nice to meet you."

Oliver did not consider himself competent, and had been hesitant to show his face for the debriefing. Certainly he was better suited to lab work and running coffee, that had been his first reaction, even after all that time without Jack around to reinforce the behavior. But by the time the last of his friend's five (five?!) enthusiastic text messages had arrived, he had accepted his fate. Someone must have mistaken him for a competent trainee.

When he arrived, it was with his head down nervously, not bothering to correct the bangs that fell into his face. The boy chewed his lower lip, with so many hunters gathered it was difficult to find even Arorangi through the crowd.

"Ma'am? HA!" Cee playfully slapped him on the chest, with a good measure of lingering on the nice solid feel between her fingers. "I'm Cee. Nice ta meetcha."

She was momentarily distracted though. She hadn't seen Noemi slinking around. "NOEMI GIIIIRL!" Cee bounced her way over to the farmgirl, pushing her into an enthusiastic (booby-ful) hug. Every bit of Cee bounced with the movement and she clung to the redhead's arm possessively.

"So you big strappin people you gonna protect us?" Since Tuck was new (and handsome) he got a pointed look. Nora even got a smile and wink, not so bad herself.

Noemi gave a very shy smile to Tuck, lacing her hands together.

"He..Hello...Tuck." She jumped as Miss Cee screeched over at her, and had no time to prepare herself for the hugs, stiffening mostly before relaxing slight. Hesitant hands came up around Cee's and she squeezed softly. "Miss Cee." She blinked as Cee changed from Tuck and Evan's arms to hers and did her best to stand a little bit straighter for the woman.

The question made her c**k her head at Cee, but instead of asking too, her gaze drew away to Oliver, attempting to catch his attention with a short wave. She would've called to Shu, but her best friend was very busy being the best kind of friend and talking to others.

Her hand dropped as she searched the crowd, landing on the tall ruffle of brown hair, and frowning just a bit. She had hoped Milo would stay in whatever safe outpost he had been sent too, but she was really glad he was here too. She had missed him.

Ah, there goes those thoughts again. Instead she buried her head in Miss Cee's shoulder and closed her eyes. Stupid stupid stupid to be thinking about it when they were just going on a mission!

Arorangi had set Lydia down, but he slung a heavy arm around her thin shoulders anyway, his smile as bright as always as he said cheerfully, "I am glad to see that you are here to keep me company, aroha, I still do not know too many people, after all, and there are many people here!"

He glanced around the room, eyes wide with curiosity, before he looked back at Lydia, lifting his free hand to scratch at his chin, which had the vaguest bit of stubble across his jawline (he'd gotten up too late to actually shave properly). "Not so sure myself!" Arorangi said thoughtfully. "I have not been on a mission yet, have you? I suppose it is going to be pretty intense - "

But the rest of his sentence was replaced by a shout of greeting as a familiar, freckled young man came weaving his way through the throngs of people towards where Arorangi and Lydia stood. Even with his head bowed, Oliver was unmistakable, and Arorangi reached a large hand between two people to tug Oliver forward.

"Hey, little bird, you made it!" he said brightly, and gestured to the blue haired young woman next to him. "Glad to see you are awake! Oliver, this is my lovely friend Lydia! Lydia, this is Oliver, he is a bit shy, but he is a good friend of mine!"

Dakota didn't have to wait long for Molly to join him, his fellow mistbro, because she announced herself with a startling cry and he saw that look Molly oh god wait his body wasn't ******** son of a b***h, holy mother of jesus Mary ******** the ow s**t ow ow ow ow." It was all one singular cry as he patted Molly's back, because it'd be rude not too before gently easing her away. "Wound, reopening. ******** ******** the painnnnnn." he hissed a little, "I love you Molly but oh my god I need some warning, some time. Ah...."

He took a moment to recollect himself into a manly man hunter bear instead of little b***h thanks to the injury and gave Molly a stern look, much different then his usual cheerfulness.

"Hello you, I missed you too." He got that out before she could, "You have any clue whats going on here?"

"I'm always charming," Evan informed Nora and Tuck, shooting the former a wounded frown before turning to squint at the latter. "This dumb son of a b***h follows me around like a slow puppy and whines until I feed him. I'm sure he would have starved to death by now if not for my good nature. Doing the dishes is about all he's good for."

He curbed his language as Noemi crept up, inwardly dismayed to see her out here but giving her a friendly smile nonetheless. He wasn't surprised to see that Tuck had already made her acquaintance. He approved, of course; it would be one more pair of eyes watching out for her safety. "Morning, Noemi," he replied. "Are you gonna Moon today, or Life? I think I see your Sun over there," he teased, sure enough spotting the tall, skinny kid and waving him over.

He was distracted from further matchmaking attempts as Cee latched onto his arm. "Cee," he replied, looking down at her--face, he was looking down at her face and not down her shirt, okay, he could handle that. "This is Nora," he said, gesturing at the cookie-toting Sun, "this is some random dipshit, never mind him," he continued, nodding at Tuck and completely missing the Look the other man shot him, "and this is--oh." He stopped as Cee launched herself at Noemi. "Guess you two are already acquainted." They were an odd match, definitely, but Noemi needed more outgoing people like Cee in her life. Maybe Cee would be able to bring Noemi out of her shell a little.

He noticed Lex over the shorties' heads and offered him a wary glare and a nod.

If Alistaire was a better person, he wouldn't have cared so much about being seen in public with Harland - and as it was, he didn't mind so much that people assumed they were friends. What mattered to him was that they were more than friends (though what exactly they were still remained to be seen), and besides, Alistaire thought, it was nobody's business but their own, and therefore there was no need to parade it in front of everyone else.

That, and there was something that Alistaire liked about keeping his relationship with Harland a secret; as though he had something specifically for him and no one else, and that was rather appealing to him, in spite of everything. It was also probably messed up but that was beside the point.

Alistaire took a sip of coffee, winced slightly, and wished he had something better than day old, filtered nonsense. "Good," he said, in response to Harland suggesting that he get a French press the next time he was off the island. "I think that would be infinitely better than this ridiculous crap they feed us. Perhaps you could also get some better cream as well and not that skim milk they stock in the cafeteria."

Anything instead of MREs, really. Alistaire's eyes followed Harland as the other sat down, and then as he began to draw. A dull red flush crossed the bridge of Alistaire's nose and spread across his cheeks when he realized the subject of said drawing, and Alistaire hastily lifted his crappy cup of coffee again, taking a swallow.

He shot Harland a look; clearly the other was enjoying himself, and it would be slightly a lie if Alistaire said he wasn't enjoying himself too. The game was back, and Alistaire liked games; they were easy to focus on instead of other things.

"Very well, thank you," he said, just as pleasantly. "I suppose that's to be expected, however."

That arm across her shoulders threatened to cease her constant movement, whether it be swaying from side to side or rocking to and fro, though it had at least kept her from falling, and she found that she actually enjoyed the heavy pressure across her shoulders, as she could tilt her head back and rest it against Aro's arm, her massive head of curls acting as a sort of pillow.

It certainly made looking up at him slightly more comfortable!

Eventually her swaying came to a stop, and she looked around with large eyes at those who were gathered. There were so many that she recognized! Though she doubted many that knew her in return. Her habits of trailing behind/stalking people on the island and writing down their daily activities had that slight set back going for it.

"I have! Sort of." She tilted her head to the side, face screwing up in thought as well. "It was more like an accident I think. An informal mission? Anyways it did no---" She began, but stopped when Arorangi shouted at somebody nearby, and her head swiveled as she looked to see just who he had spotted.

OH! Oh she knew this one!

"Oliverrrrrrr!" She greeted the young man, who's baby face was impossible not to recognize. She stuck out a hand to him in greeting, one that was no longer burned and bandaged. "Yes, we have met once! After that mission that wasn't really a mission I just mentioned! I was all burned to a crisp in the infirmary and little Oliver here helped to take care of me!" Her face was split into a large grin.

Honestly, this was another way Harland and Alistaire weren't that different: Harland was pretending he hadn't sent that letter, and Alisaire was... what could only be described as being Alistaire at this point. "Tá mé ag éirí leat," Harland muttered, under his breath, with an exaggerated sigh. He laughed quietly under his breath, shook his head, and looked at Alistaire with the same kind of fondness, but less intense-- now it was also kind of a familiar amusement.

Like they were really good friends, as well as whatever else they were. After all, Harland was nothing if not big on sustainable endeavours. Sometimes they had to be calm like this, and Harland was okay with that. He found himself getting frustrated, that was true, but if he took a step back to really look at the situation he remembered that's not who he was. He was happy that the people around them didn't know as much about them as they did. He, in fact, was kind of designed for it. Harland had never been a crowds kind of person. He could see now, looking at Ian with all his friends, how he hadn't been cut from that cloth. Charming cloth, yes, and cloth Harland cared deeply about in his own weird way, but he wasn't quite right for him.

Harland was happier over here, with his sketchbook and his coffee and his numb tastebuds and Alistaire with his sharp words and his grumpiness. Harland smiled. He mock-bowed, coffee in hand, the arm not pinning a sketchbook or holding coffee sweeping out."Shall I wrangle back a minifridge, my liege, so that we might store all your hunting acquisitions?" Harland asked, teasing him about the cream.

Maybe once he wasn't a Trainee, such luxuries could be afforded him. His expression grew soft, when Alistaire said he'd slept well and that was to be expected. "French press an' cream it is," Harland said, straightening for his bow, taking another sip of his coffee and lookign at Alistaire for a moment more before he looked back at the Hunters mingling. "Wonder when somethin'll start-- ah, Tá ann Oliver!" Harland said, slipping back into Irish again. He seemed to be doing that more, these past few days, than he had in a while. It was nice, like the only part of home he could still touch. Harland took his phone out.

Nellie supposed that the group of people that had already gathered around the Lighthouse portal was proof enough that this mission was going to be big. Not wanting to risk being penalised for not following the instructions that were clearly provided in the text message from the Death lead himself, she had turned up minutes before the time said debriefing was due to start, keeping mostly to herself as she watched the many people around her to momentarily pass the time till they were given more details as to what they were supposed to do next.

The message had caught his interest only briefly -- because Ever had other business to attend to, other missions to prep for, was in the midst of talking Taym into parting with a jacket that had elbowpads. In contrast, Cee's made him pause where he was, frowning just a bit. He wouldn't come running: instead, he'd reply.

It was weird not seeing her best friend around after a while, if that was the omnipotent Death Lead calling all the hunters. Shu wanted to confirm Noemi's location as well as making sure she wasn't alone, so she quickly sent the girl a text.

Text to Noemi

Hello Mimi, are you at the lighthouse as well? Please make sure you won't be alone at any moment. Is Milo with you? If not, who is/are with you? I have a bad impression that this mission is gonna be dangerous, so do call your knights, milo and me if you feel you're in trouble? <3

It wasn't really a short text message, but a paragraph of texts.
