Abira shakes her head: "You've misunderstood me. The boys are willing to see there might be violence if the king refuses to leave. They plan to stop him, I don't want them to suffer the consequences. They are good men. And do not deserve to be harassed, I have no choice." She then ruffled her dress down. "I am going tonight, there is no way I am having them suffer like this, as a caregiver I need to make sure they are safe, even if I.....I have to suffer to protect them." And then she stared at the angel girl. "You do not understand how it feels the need to protect, and I have to do this...."

Abira was slightly shocked about it since she normally would not get to share with this and nodded before taking a closer look at the picture: Aaaaah, he looks so much like him....my once good guardian before I fell. I remember his name.... Leonardo Espinoza........I wonder if he had a son.....no.....when I fell I was 18.....so that would mean grandson?...." She had to mutter a few words then shrugged it off: "I would not tell, but then you have to promise me not to tell the two that I need to leave to the king tonight."

Abira sighs, knowing well that it was to be expected from Diaval. "He was always like that, always a sweet man." She then stood up and stretched her leg. "I.....I cannot work today, but I'll be here all day getting ready to go. She then lets the angel girl go as she sat on the bed, mentally preparing for it.....which made her shake in horror.

As the day passed by, Raygnar had not talked to the angel much, just telling her to make sure the garden was well-kept and that the house was in good condition. Raygnar was aware that Persephone would return soon to Olympus to get ready for spring so Diaval would soon be at home, doing the usual soldier duties...which would be nice for the boy. Raygnar had not realized that Abira was ready to leave, packing up everything she had and trying hard not to get teary over it....they'll find a better nanny....or slave.

Night time was coming soon, and Abira was prepared to leave....she already had her dinner sent to her and had picked up the bag on her bed getting ready to leave. "It's to protect them."

Raygnar narrowed his eyes in such a way, that it was almost yet again he was ticked off, very VERY pissy. He then was about to stand up and confront this himself until he realized something that made him stop: He then had his eyes to Diaval who was probably just as mad or concerned. "You need to go to Abira, you can probably stop her a lot more gently than I can." He then proceeded to do something: "And what you mean you can't hold it in anymore?! Did she ask you to lie or something?"

The slave girl was about done with everything and proceeded to tighten the bag up so she could get go. She hated this and felt frightened but like a mamma bear, she needed to protect the cubs. It was the only choice she had to prevent them from getting hurt.

Abira was face to face with Diaval, seeming to have connected the dots by the fact she did not eat the dinner and with a bag held by two hands. "Do you think I'm dumb? Do you realize what you two are doing fighting an impossible enemy? If provoked, your asking for humiliation, shame, and maybe death. If this has to happen, fine. I am keeping my promise to your parents to make sure nothing happens to you two,....even if I have to suffer for it. So.......you need to move.....it's not like I want to do this either but I refuse to see the inevitable happen."

Raygnar still was angry at the angel but then softened because....well at least she told the fricking truth. They probably would not have seen Abira go until it was too late. "She was our nanny. But...I think Diaval cares about her more. I kind of grew up with that little face of his admiring the angel in blue. I tease him often saying he loves the nanny and he hated it all the time....brothers: we tease each other. Anyway this situation means I am going to have a long chat with the highness. You're not going anywhere, Abira's not going anywhere....end of story.' He then brought out a letter. "I was gonna send this but now I want to add a few more sentences..." He then unfolded the letter and puts down a P.S. before folding it again and putting it back in his pocket. "So....you're starting to care? I thought angels did not give a damn on what happens to Demons nor the angels that submit?"

Raygnar suddenly stopped when she said the quote that he sort of lived by in his head. He was still for a few seconds until his body started shaking then suddenly he was laughing. It seemed to come out of nowhere as he then took a deep breath: "Wow! I'm shocked, I didn't think you would take it to heart." He continued laughing but now it turned into a slight chuckle: "E-Excuse me." He had to get himself together before sighing and then did a slight chuckle again: "Aaaaah, sorry. I guess I needed to relax a bit. Anyway my brother is right about one thing....since I have to much influence....there is a chance we won't have to fight with him about slave ownership. Since according to law, once you're in my possession I decide what happens. And since I said you two aren't going anywhere, he would have no choice but to respect it......of course if he decided not to follow."

Suddenly he had a mischief look in his face: "Let's just say the general knows a thing or two on how to keep him quiet." He then sat down on the table and then thought about it: "Once the war is over, I'm planning on letting you go.....to see your family anyways."

Abira was shocked, and she normally was not this shocked since she had seen and kind of heard everything there was.....she never knew he was that attached....why? Was it a mother-son bond he wanted to keep? She was not sure now.......it cannot be just that....it was something else. It made her heart sink when he begged her not to leave like everyone else. "You still have your brother......" But it seemed to not do the trick, she sighed and decided to hug him back to calm him down, her hand stroking his long hair. "I'm afraid for you two. You're important to me too Diaval, but please understand my worry. I won't leave....but please do not make me regret my decision....I will regret seeing you hurt." She continued trying to calm him down so he wouldn't feel alone.

"This is not the first time you did not want me to go. You were always my favorite, knowing there would be someone waiting for me to come back is the greatest gift one can have."

Abira sighed again as he was not going to let go of her so easily. Unconsciously she had put her lips onto his cheek. "Your starting to sound like a husband to a wife instead of a master to his slave." She then had a sudden realization to that.....

He never treated her like a slave....of course his parents did but not Diaval. Raygnar too....although he had her do work a bit but Diaval was always gentle on her. Especially the times she went through punishments, he would hug her to comfort her despite the late father and mother who protested about his soft behavior. It even had them fear that a demon loved an angel, but of course....it would never happen would it? She had a good look at Diaval...her blue eyes scanned his face.....his soft pale skin, the narrow soft eyes and the long whitish-blonde hair. "Diaval........are you thinking of me than just a slave?"


Raygnar shurgged: "You do have a point, I have to wonder how long it will last this war. The two king's are too stubborn to make up....or well bring peace but still hate each other......" He then thought of something: "Reminds me of a story I read....it was banned from the Demon world and Angel World....in all sense it got burned down, but I saved the one book which is from my library. I think it's where I got my equal acceptance of both parties......I can probably let you take a peek." He then took a breath before standing up. "I don't want you two angels going anywhere until it's settled, I think Diaval and I will talk to the King alone on this one, and once it's settled...I can't have you go anywhere unless you're with me or Diaval...or both."

He then eyed the window as he then took a breath: "That's all the bullshit I'll spring out for today."
