Cassiopeia was truly thankful to Gideon for being so understanding. It was a truly refreshing thing to not be so bombarded by questions. And the fact that he liked her handwriting only made her feel that much better. Slowly she shook her head. " I have only met the gardening teacher. It was nice as I'm the captain of the gardening club. We were discussing flowers but I got too anxious..." She turned the board around to wipe away the words and finish her statement. " Thankfully you had grabbed my attention. I might have had a melt down out there." She gave him a sweeter smile, lilac eyes shinning.

Patingdale Kyle waited with the same smug attitude. Not noticing his bother talking with a pretty girl.
Jordan couldn't help but whisper "cute" when he heard her process his explanation of the hand shake. Was enjoying every minute of teaching her new things and watching her reactions but he couldn't help wonder if it was a deeper feeling than satisfaction as the feeling lingered on his lips of her soft silken skin. He didn't know why but his heart wanted her to agree to the third greeting more than anything. She nodded and he felt his whole face light up "Alright, I promise you can trust me." He could only imagine how foreign this was going to be if a simple hand shake made her that nervous. Carefully he took her hands in his and slowly wrapped them around his neck encase she wanted to pull out. He then sat closer beside her and wrapped on arm diagonally across the top of her back and then wrapped the other horizontally across her waist and pulled her close in to a hug and spoke very softly as not to startle her "this is called a hug or an embrace but I prefer the word embrace. Sharing each others warmth as a sign of trust and caring." He reluctantly parted from the hug and looked into her eyes, giving her some time to process it before he said "those things can also be used to part from someone" He looked around the room noticing it was filling but also that they were near the middle of it and hopped no one took any mind to it before returning to her gaze. OOC: You can tell, and so much fun to interact with.

 Gideon James He smiled "Oh wow so you are the captain of the gardening club. Pretty cool you got to meet the teacher." he laughed a little and rubbed the back of his head. "I'm not part of any special club or anything yet i'm kinda just doing my own thing for now I thought i could get a little more work done here then i could at regular school so as soon as orientation is done i think i'll be converting my room into a work shop." He noticed her smile changed to something a bit more sweet. He smiled back at her and spoke "Well i'm glad i called you over here too i would hate to see you have a meltdown if you ever just need to get a way from everything you can come hang out with me."

✦═━┈┈━══━┈┈━══━┈┈━══━┈┈━═✦ Averi could feel her heart slamming against her chest as he took hold of her hands. She leaned forward to his wrapping them around his neck, her big eyes blinking in nervous curiosity. Being so close to him, she felt him scoot closer to her and wrap one hand around her back and the other around her waist. When they were pressed so close together she desperately hoped that he wouldn't be able to feel just how fast her heart was beating. A hug? Hearing his words spoken so softly to her, she felt her skin prickle at his breath touching her and was both glad and sad when they parted. She didn't think her brain, nerves or heart could take much more learning for the day! Staring into his blue eyes she could feel her face burning and finally noticed his own blush. Without even thinking about it, she placed her hands against his cheeks, cupping his face gently. " Oh Jordan, your face is terribly red!" she said with a slight hint of worry in her shaky voice. In her true body she never blushed. It was impossible for energy to blush, so she didn't understand it. There were so many different things to being human that she just wouldn't understand. She had never even seen her human body blush before so she didn't know what it looked like. Even though she almost felt ready to faint from how fast her heart was beating, she forgot about that and placed her forehead against his. " Are you unwell by chance?" she asked wondering if he had suddenly come down with something. ((OOC; Well I'm glad! Makes me feel good to lol))

To have her first friend at this school was nice and she was now glad she had come to the orientation. " You're more than welcome to come by the garden as well Gideon. I'm sure you could make a lot of friends there and it's so beautiful!" Talking about gardens and flowers always made Cassiopeia so happy. They were something she had a love for, other than practicing her calligraphy. When she was interacting with flowers, or plants in general, everything just seemed to drift away. All her worries and problems. Everything became perfect for those moments she spent taking care of them. " Maybe I could even teach you a few things if you like."

Gideon James "That sounds like a plan to me." It was still his first day here and he had made so many friends it was a little unbelievable still that most people here are so friendly. "I would love to see what you are going to grow out there and you might not be interested in my skill but i can show you some of the things i have been working on." Gideon was still a little wary about showing people his inventions from his experience most people are uninterested in the things he makes but he was hoping things would be a little different here in that regard too. "The letter said that most people in the school have some kind of ability or excel in one area i'm pretty much a tech wizard." he laughed at himself and let out a sigh "That didn't sound as good as it did in my head....but what's your ability?" he asked trying to shift the subject off of himself now.

Jordan eye's widened ad she placed her hand on his cheek and he held it a bit before mimicking her and placed his hand on her cheek "so is yours" he said with a gentle smile feeling his own heart racing at an incredible speed, he gulped as she placed her forehead on his and lightly held her shoulders and put space between them with a sigh he explained "Although we get red and hot when we are sick, we also get like it when showing an extreme emotion." He took a deep breath trying not to embarrass her further and hopped she wouldn't run away "the way we held each others cheeks and placed our foreheads on one another's just then is considered a intimate or private thing to do and is not meant to be done in public." He patted her hand and smiled though disappointment was in his eyes and spoke quietly to make sure only she heard "I would like to get to know you better so maybe one day we can do it again when you understand what it means and enjoy it together." He couldn't bring himself to look away even he felt like he had done something wrong. OOC: Lol that's good to hear. Both seem so clueless.

She understood the basic mechanics of technology, but has never really gotten into something like that. She was a teenager. All she wanted was a working piece of equipment to get done what she needed. But his next sentence caught her a little by surprise. More people could do amazing things? Well, she didn't consider her gift all that amazing but that was simply because she had just learned about it not too long ago. Licking her lips, she creased her brow in contemplation as she wrote to him. " I'm able to manipulate lunar energy, so pretty much moonlight." After showing him her words, she put her board and marker in her bag and rubbed her hands together. She didn't need to do that in order to use her gift, she was just nervous. She was still learning. Slowly stretching out her hand towards him, she opened her hand so her palm was facing the ceiling and a ball of whitish yellow light appeared hovering in her hand. Manipulating the ball to become smaller, two more appeared and floated around him. By storing moonlight within her own body, she realized she was able to use her gift at anytime of day.

Gideon James Gideon stood awe struck for a moment as the lights went around him. "I can honestly say i have never seen anything like this before...." He said still watching the lights almost like he was studying them. "But i have to say this is pretty cool how are you able to do that?" he asked with a smile. If she didn't know it wasn't a big deal truthfully he didn't know why he was able to do half of the stuff he was able to do it just felt natural to him maybe she was the same way?

✦═━┈┈━══━┈┈━══━┈┈━══━┈┈━═✦ Indigo eyes looked at him both clueless and sad as he pushed her away, though not roughly. She had done something wrong. Why was being human so difficult? Turning her gaze away from him, she looked down at her knees ashamed for doing something wrong. It was accidental. His tone though, it made her feel so terrible. He wasn't trying to make her feel bad, that much she could understand, but it still hurt. The pain wasn't physical but somewhere deep within her. Bringing her hand up, she placed it against her chest, above her pendant and sighed softly. She had just been worried about him. Honestly, he was her first and only friend. She didn't even have friends back home; they didn't even have a word for it. " Vita..." she whispered, unintentionally using her native language. What was she to do now? She was too embarrassed to even speak. Hadn't he originally been the one to initiate all this contact? So why was it she felt so much shame? Averi nervously glanced back up at him at his words. Drumming her fingers against her knees, she bit into her bottom lip. " I-Is there anything else...you would like to know? About me that is?" she asked trying desperately to change the awkward subject. ((OOC; Well it just makes them that much more adorable!))

Closing her eyes, she concentrated on trying to form the balls of light into words. Opening one lilac eye, she noticed it wasn't working and slumped her shoulders in defeat. Why was this so hard? Taking out her board and marker, the lights still floating around, she quickly wrote her reply. " I guess I've always been able to do it. I just never knew about it until recently." She paused and thought long and hard about what her next statement would be. Should she tell him? Would he even believe her? Doubtful, but it was worth it because it would explain everything. With a soft sigh, she wrote again. " I'm what's called a Demi God. My mother is the former Moon Goddess Selene..."

Gideon James He read the words on the white board and paused for a moment without speaking. A demigod? It would explain the powers but if a demigod is in this school who knows what else could be he had never even considered the possibility of anything other then humans being in this school. He spoke after a short pause. "I'm having a little trouble wrapping my mind around that right now but i trust you, i mean that would explain the powers and if you are still learning them i'm sure you will be able to do all kinds of cool things just keep practicing."he said with a smile, even if he didn't fully understand right now it seemed like she could use some support with the matter if people bombarded her with questions about not talking he could only imagine how hard it was to tell him that about her and show him her ability.

Of course he wouldn't believe her. No one believed in Gods anymore. Well, unless you were one of those weird religious fanatics. The three lights disappeared with a soft ' pop' sound and she nodded at his answer. It was understandable his thinking. Even when she found out she was skeptical. Who wouldn't be? It was because of her mother that she had so much trouble socializing with people. However, that was a subject for another time. " I understand your misgivings about the subject." Awkwardly she looked out to the crowd. Oh how she wished she would be in the garden right now! " It's a strange thing to say in this day and age and I have no proof to give at the moment." Looking for a way to change the subject, she pursed her lips as she wrote. " Could I possibly see one of your inventions one day?"

Jordan watched the emotions wash over her face and fet even worse than before. "I know you didn't mean to, I was out of line I'm sorry." He said with a gentle smile feeling his own heart racing at an incredible speed, he gulped as she placed her forehead on his and lightly held her shoulders and put space between them with a sigh he explained "Although we get red and hot when we are sick, we also get like it when showing an extreme emotion." He heard her whisper something but had no clue as to what it meant. When she drummed her fingers he rubbed his neck uncomfortably but soon relaxed as she spoke, why did he feel like he was the one being consoled now "you understand how to keep up a conversation well. You whispered something earlier; was it in your native tone, do you have your own language, how long have you been on earth.?" He laughed a bit awkwardly at himself "is there anything you want to know about me?" He sighed and asked one more question "would you still like to do our session latter? There won't be anyone else around so if we have a misunderstanding no one else well see and it well be our little secrete." He felt more comfortable after saying that and gave her his usual warm smile. OOC: I agree.

Gideon James The light disappeared and he saw her look out to the crowd. Gideon put a hand on her shoulder and spoke softly "Honestly i believe you there are tons of things in this world i don't know about and while i just met you i think you are an honest person something just kinda clicked when i saw you ya'know?" he said with a smile he took his hand off her shoulder and addressed the question about his inventions. "Yeah we can go to my dorm later and i'll show you a few things i have with me and things i've been working on but it's nothing to impressive nothing like what you just showed me." he laughed a little and gave her a warm smile.
