It was interesting to see the different combinations the students came up with, but a particular one had caught her attention. Not only did it taste superb, but their colour coordination was also fantastic.

Making Tea!After playing around with Captain Hero's remote controlled flying machine for a little while longer, Rojo moved on, smelling his next booth before he saw what it had to offer. He wasn't all that familiar with the subtleties of tea. All the skeleton knew for sure was that it was brown. He paused, flashing the smile he couldn't help wearing at the two ghouls in charge, then took a step closer. It wouldn't hurt to try, right?
Carefully picking out a pristine doily and a flowered cup, Rojo got to brewing. He chose some green tea, though it still looked fairly brown to his eyeholes, and a couple of bits of orange peel to sharpen it up. Fancy.
Throwing it all into the provided pot, he sat perfectly still and waited.Quote: green tea base, orange peel accent, light blue teacup (+1 marcy), plain white doily

Making Tea!
After several games in a row, Nova makes his way back to the Dainty Delights booth, the young boil could use a cup of tea.
Although his brew from the day before had been good, Nova picks everything different today. Maybe the booth owners will like it better. He hopes.
He starts with the tea leaves labeled 'White Tea' though they aren't white so why they are called that... He adds 'Orange Peel' because it smells nice and lets the mixture brew.
He picks a red teacup today, and a lavender doily the seems a bit thin, maybe it's been washed a lot.

Nova pours the tea carefully, it was still hot. Once it could be drank, he and the booth owners tasted it.
"This is quite tasty! Goes well with the cup chosen, too. It's all about the proper mood, you know."
Nova wasn't sure, but he would trust her opinion over his own, ghouls knew more about these things, right? He would agree though that he liked the taste of the tea. Before he leaves he puts in another ticket for the raffle.

When he deemed his liquidy masterpiece complete, Rojo carefully poured a measure of tea for himself and the ghoul in front of him. He sipped his first, too overcome with excitement to bow to etiquette, wincing internally at its taste. His skull still showed no sign of his displeasure, smiling as if nothing was amiss.
He sighed with relief when he was told it was too strong.
"Oh, thank Jack! I thought that maybe tea was the worst thing ever made and you ghouls had gone insane! I am glad it was just me!" And he was. Rojo hopped to his feet and waved at Marcy and Mia as he moved on. He would be back to perfect this tea business.

Mia smiled at the boil, remembering him from before. He had done an exceptional job last time, but she thoroughly enjoyed the tea. It just went to show that practice really did pay off.
"Great job! Here's a little extra for your efforts."
She couldn't help but let out a soft laugh at the skeleton boil. Such an enthusiastic one, wasn't he?

Mia was amazed to see such a beautiful teacup, and did her best not to cry. And that doily...
She was so happy she came up with this idea.

He headed over to the tea booth again hoping to actually get a good cup this time. It would still be so much easier if someone else would just make the damn tea for him.
Sighing he plucked up some rose hip for a base this time but still added the same spice blend he'd used last time. Everything was going into a green cup this time and plunked on the first doily he grabbed (which happened to be a hideous shade of orange)

The tea did, thankfully, come out better than last time and he happily sipped on his cup while savoring the warmth.

Ryou was back to tea making today. Starting out again with black tea, he proceeded to add some orange peel, pour it into a plain red cup with a orange dolly at the side. Hopefully this time it would turn out better. Last time, black tea and chocolate apparently did not make hot chocolate.

Sadly, there were no fried spiders... or bugs, because eating bugs was terrible, but the boil did get something for his troubles. At least the tea came out well.
To another, Mia smiled, glad to see that the blends were improving. Confidence also played a part in good tea.

Making Tea! Tea was a delicate pastime, Hollandaise supposed, and something the elders in her forest were fond of. In a way, it honored dying plants - using their dried bodies to comfort or heal another. While she was inexperienced with it, that didn't mean she couldn't at least try~ One whiff of the delicate chamomile sent her nose running back to her forest, to Elder Kritshfajhk'irkta, whose voice barely drowned out the sound of her creaking joints. Sighing deeply, she added chocolate, the earthy tones soothing. A pleased hum ran through her, sending her leaves a-shiver. For he cup, her fingers lightly danced over each one before settling on one in dark blue. Ah, the color of the night sky. She could make this cup of tea perfectly... perhaps. She absently chose a pink doily. Hollandaise was so lost in thought she barely noticed the world around her. Instead, her yellow eyes were fixed on the leaves that swirled and swirled in the steaming water.
