"It looks super cute!" Sherry had to offer up her own opinion, which was nothing but good. How could Abbi NOT be cute? Really, just look at the girl. So cute. "You think so?" Sherry looked down at the bunny on her borrowed shirt, and blushed a little. Though she had to admit bunnies were cute, too. Yes they were. So cute and-- "Oh? A romantic date?" Now, Sherry hadn't been sure of what to expect when she asked for truth, maybe like some embarrassing childhood story or something. Not quite a date night. Of romantic-ness. "Um..." She glanced at Jake. "Ummm...." It was a difficult, question, Abbi. Very difficult. How could she pick just one? And if she mentioned stargazing he might be sad, since they'd done that once. But it really was her favorite, but she'd also told him about it. No, no. Something new. "Umm...." She looked around them, and inspiration struck. Childhood whimsies came back into focus. "Well, I've always wanted an afternoon and evening at the beach. You know, spend the day looking for shells or snorkeling, in waters not monster infested." It was a very important clarification. "And then have a sunset horseback ride along the waves, followed by a candlelit dinner in an open air porch, listening to the sound of the waves and watching the moonlight glitter on the ocean while we laughed at silly things. Or something." Sherry didn't look in Jake's direction as she finished. He always got flustered when romance came up. And really, she felt the whole dream was a little corny. Time to take the pressure off of herself. Sherry smiled at Abbi, then scanned the crowd. She found a face she recognized. One that seemed to be out and away from most trouble. Perfect. "Leon! Leon!" She yelled and waved. "Truth or Dare! Pick one! It's your turn!"

Someone was calling his name. A little firecracker by the name of Sherry spotted him that caused him to hunch his shoulders and try to hide his imposing frame, but too little too late. And the trap snapped its jaws shut around him. Its dino foam teeth he mused. "I'm probably going to regret it, but say Dare. since we just had a truth" he replied, signing the last will to his fate and the adult children around him. Heavens above the life hunter hoped there was a sort of mercy on him.

Good, good. Attention rightly averted. And a dare. "Hrm," she hummed, tapping her chin. She'd just seen Leon eating...they had food... "I dare you to eat another sandwich but while doing an impression of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. With roars and everything."

................................... It was the longest stare to ever have been stared. Leon could feel the muscles in his jaw open and close out of sheer absurdity of the request, the dare he mentally reminded himself. That meant more bread and he already had his three servings. It took a moment of summoning willpower to not protest, and taking it in stride. "OK, I guess i can do that." taking a deep inhale and keeping his elbows farther behind him and locked to his sides, making his armspan more restrained than before and letting out a roar and dived his face into the service platter of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Not one, but the whole freaking platter. He brought it, so shush. No complaints. The jaw mouthed at the little breads cut in triangles that looked like stegosaurus spine scales, teeth gnashing at anything it could reach, smearing red over the plate, the table, and most of all himself, gelationaus dark red stripes and splotches all over. It was a mess, a glorious mess and the Leonasaurus screamed again and charged at its next target, mouth wide and claw handsready to do nothing but look nefarious and silly with being too short for evolutionary use. Dakota. "Truth or Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggghhhhhhhhhh"

Dakota was stuffing his face in a entirely different manner then Leon, eating the glorious free pizza at a rapid rate of slice per each box.
He looked up as Leon-rex charged and ran around the table.
"HEY MAN NOT THE JACKET...NOTTTTTT THE JACKET."
He looked thoughtful before shrugging, "TRUTH?"

Leon was very adamant about acting the role out, flailing his little t-rex clawhands at the hunter. It was all fun and games except when Dakota said truth because, he didn't know what to even ask, he didn't even have a dare ready in the chance Dakota went in the other direction. Playfullness turned into quiet contemplation for Leonasaurus. If he had a tail he was sure to be smacking it against the ground right now. "You must have a phobia of sorts, what is yours?" he eyed him down, covered in red jelly. strawberry smiles of terror. Leverage? Maybe in the future.

Dakota snorted.
he didn't think sharing fears gave people power, but he went a little vague.
"Death." Death as in dead people, people dying in general, or maybe the death division?
He circled around the table before grabbing some grumpy looking kid around the neck. "Jake right? you came to my training thing once. Dare or Dare?"

While he was trying to seem as inconspicuous as possible, he did take mental notes on the things Sherry was saying.
It seemed... he'd have to learn how to ride a horse some day. And how to snorkel.
He was almost scared what other secret fantasies she had inside that head of hers (he really hoped space travel wasn't one of them), and was even more scared when he finished. She was going to pick him, wasn't she? She was going to pick him and... wait. She'd be the one asking the dare, right? And surely she wouldn't ask him to do something awfully embarrassing...
At least, that was what he thought, until she picked someone else.
Well, ok, surely she was making sure it'd be around people who didn't know him that well, so they wouldn't pick him. Yes, yes, that's good, just-
... and then Dakota.
DAKOTA OH GOD WHY.
Jake tried to run. He really wanted to run.
Instead he buried his face in his hands again, letting out a muffled sob.
"Do I even have a choice."
He really wished Dakota would just strangle him instead.

Melvin was stuffing another mashmallow into his gun when he heard a girl talk about her thoughts on romantic dates. His stomach instantly tightened, and his movements slowed and ceased all together as she went into a picturesque scene of a beach day followed by a romantic dinner - and if she was anyone else, the self-implied night following.
He thought of Valentine's Day....it had been only weeks before that day...and then the day when that changed.
He wondered what she would even like now. Should he plan a day like that when she came back? He owed her...
When Leon threw his head into the table, Melvin broke from his gut-twisting feelings and cringed. He would not be eating anything here today, that was for sure. Managing to reload the marshmallow, he debated on who to aim. He felt out of place here. People were happy, romantic, close, and he lingered near Solia because, to be honest, the only people he really knew were her and Leon. Leon was, at the moment completely out of the question the way he was. The man needed to be hosed down.

Noemi shifted away from Jake and Sherry coming to stand over by Melvin and smile at the life hunter.
"Are you..going to play?" She pointed to Dakota as he dragged of Jake. "The truth and dare?"

Dakota on the other hand grinned.
"I DARE YOU TO TAKE ON MARCUS IN THE BOUNCY CASTLE. MANO o MANO." Mean Dakota threw a Jake in and stared at his moon hunter.
"Also Marcus is a vampire so have fun."

Solia didn't miss Melvin getting close to her, "It's not much your scene is it?" She said conversationally. Still she smiled. "I'm glad you came though. Do you want to help me with something?" She grinned, eying the wheel barrow full of water balloons.

Jake gave Dakota a bewildered look, but before he could protest, he was shoved inside the inflatable castle.
WHAT THE HELL WAS HE SUPPOSED TO DO.
Also, what did he mean Marcus was a vampire? What was even going on anymore? He was so confused.

Marcus looked at Dakota, then at Jake, then grinned. He gave himself a running start before jumping his way into the bouncy house, followed very quickly with a cracking of his neck. "Come on Jake. I don't bite very hard. Promise." He made a dive for Jake hissing in his attempts to mimic a real vampire. Dis was so disappointed.
