Noiz shrugged. "You'd seem like the person to do something that dramatic." his arms were crossed, and he kept his space away from Kokai, since he still didn't trust him much. "..what grade are you in?" curious hit the cat. "You seem like an immature brat, that's why i'm asking." and even his coldness never went away.

Kokai pouted a little, his cheeks puffed. "Not really....my sisters are more dramatic. Mine is just my legs glow blue the turn my legs into a tail." He stopped pouting and went underwater for a bit, he found a pale green colored shell and picked it up, resurfacing in time to hear Noiz's question. "I'm a Sophmore..." he replied bluntly. He looked at the shell he picked up and smiled softly. "Never seen one this color before...." █████████████████████████
"Don't eat me...I can't bear to let anyone else suffer because of me. ((Is it okay if I add a scene later where hunters find Kokai? I have an idea..))

((Okay, go ahead)) Noiz suddenly got disturbed. This kid is older than me...This kid is older than me? How can this be?..That pisses me off..he's so immature and girly...I can't take this in easily. his thoughts rambled on but stopped when he saw the green shell. it caught his attention for some reason. "..." He liked the color, and as you can see that's all he really wore.

Kokai saw the disturbed look. "B-but I'm seventeen though, my birthday isn't until next year..." Something whizzed by him, Kokai froze and almost dropped the shell in the water. "How.....how did they know...." mumbled Kokai. What went by was an arrow, a warning to show Kokai that he he needs to get out. "W-we need to go...." Kokai knew what was happening, he's been spotted. He motioned for Noiz to go under water, he went underwater and started swimming to shore with that shell held tightly in his hands. " I have to hurry...being underwater, he won't be able to hold his breath for long.." he thought. He looked back to check if Noiz was behind him, bad idea. The ocean current swept Kokai into a net laid as a trap! In his surprise, Kokai dropped the seashell and tried escaping but he was too late and trapped. On the surface, two hunters were on the shore laughing greedily to themselves. "Finally...we caught one! Now immortality is ours!" said one as he pulled the net into shore. Kokai cursed and struggled to get out, he tried summoning his weapon but he got tangled up in net and his own tail. █████████████████████████

Noiz was confused when he was told to go underwater, but he did anyways without question but when he popped back up, The poor mermaid was caught in a net. Wonder why he was trying to get Noiz away. "..The hell?" Should he help him or not? He didn't know what to do but I guess he went by his own rules and ran towards the men. "Ne, It's not nice to be caught in the net..Why not leave him be?" After he said that, with no hesitation, he started attacking the few guys that were there. "Come at me." his fists clenched and he pounded most of them. "...You're such a captive princess, aren't you, Kokai.."

The men smirked as they got the net into shore, seeing Kokai. "It took a while catching one of you, now be a good boy and stay quiet. It'll be quick and painless." Kokai glared, his tail didn't turn into legs since he was tangled in a net. "I'm not surprised that you greedy bastards like you two would be here, now let me go!" One kicked his tail hard and Kokai winced. "Shut up! If I let you go, then we lost our chance for immortality!" Kokai was about to say something but he heard Noiz, he was relieved that he didn't get hurt but now he's getting involved. The men growled at Noiz and the one that kicked Kokai's tail charged towards Noiz only to get beaten up. "Back off! I'm not giving him up easily! Do you know how much hell I went through trying to find a ningyo?!" █████████████████████████

Noiz gave the man a sense of reality with a big knockout punch. "I'm pretty sure you've went through a lot to get nothing." the blunt man glared, this man was pretty tough looking but if Noiz knocked him out easily enough,it wouldn't be that bad. "All you're looking for is regret." He warned. "Ningyo's are here for a reason, right? Why make them instinct." he literally jumped on the man to pound a roadhouse kick right to their stomach, and with Noiz's last words to the man before knocking him out, this is what the man heard. "...It's not like living forever will be fun anyways. It's more like a sentence to stay in hell for the rest of your life."

Kokai looked away as the other hunter got a roundhouse kick to the face. He got untangled and summoned his weapon to cut the net, setting himself free before his weapon turned into mist. His tail went away and his legs were back, he was still in the swimsuit he wore earlier. He realized he dropped the shell and sighed. "T-thank you...." Kokai sighed, he felt his heart grow heavy. He tried to keep Noiz safe but ended up getting captured, Kokai can just say goodbye to whatever chances he has left with Noiz. He didn't have anything to say after he thanked Noiz, Kokai was silent. █████████████████████████

Noiz was panting a little from running and throwing out punches and kicks but he didn't feel any pain at all. He turned and threw out the net that was now broken. He wasn't angry or anything, it was just complications came so soon from being around this mermaid, it was surprising but at the same time it wasn't since his species were probably about to be extinct. "Uh,." he was surprised by that thank you though, it kind of shocked him. "...Your..Your welcome."

Kokai looked over at Noiz, seeing him pant in exhaustion. He knew how cold Noiz was to him but he beat up those hunters because Kokai got captured! He walked over to their clothes and picked them up, wiping the sand off as he walked back to Noiz. "I-I'm so sorry.....I didn't mean to get you involved with my problem...." █████████████████████████

Noiz didn't know why he was apologizing. "You didn't get me in the problem, i just chose to get in the problem. I mean, What would happen if I didn't get in there? You would of been gone and killed, right?" he looked off at the sun and sighed. "...I just find it pathetic that people would kill to have immortality...It's sickening to see them obsessing over it."

Kokai held back from crying, his eyes didn't water. Although if Kokai shed tears right now, his would be the color of pearls and he'd change back into a human if he's in his real form. "It is sick.....they don't understand the price to pay for immortality. Decades and decades of loneliness, not being able to fall in love, make friends, have children......they'll all die." He closed his eyes, holding back from tears. █████████████████████████

Noiz just stood there trying to co-operate with this verge-of-crying-sophomore. He didn't understand tears. "....I guess they don't know the side affects. Even if they had immortality, that'd just be another decades of hell they'll have to go through on earth. Loved ones will be dead while they'll still be alive, everyone would be aging except them. It's a high percentage that they'd turn insane in no longer than a few years enduring the fact that they're immortal."

Kokai nodded and opened his eyes. "My mother told me a story about a human that suffered like that for eight hundred years." He let a soft sigh escape him. "Her name was Yao Bikuni. She's a daughter of a fisherman that caught a ningyo but was too intoxicated to throw it back in the sea like he's supposed to, Yao demanded a present so her father carelessly gave her the ningyo. By the time he was sober, his daughter ate the fish and grew worried in fear it was poisonous but nothing happened so he didn't worry about it." Kokai frowned and looked down at his feet. "Yao grew older and got married, she stopped aging and kept her youthful appearance while her husband aged and soon died. She married and had kids for many years, ending up a widow in the end so she traveled as a nun. But.....when she turned eight hundred years old, she returned to her old homeplace and took her life...." █████████████████████████

"Like I told you, It's hell." Noiz shrugged. "It's not like i'd understand it anyways." his own mental state was hell but he still couldn't understand anything about it. He couldn't feel a single thing, feel anything about a single thing. He just had his blunt opinions which always ended up with him getting in trouble. "....Are you done swimming or are you going to continue?" he wanted to get off this topic since he didn't know what to say.
