Rikka crossed her arms as the girl left "So that is what Corey picked up after moi?" she wondered aloud to herself. She turned back to those that where looking on, "Vell that vas strange, to say the least, but hey! how is everybody? it seems like forever since I have seen any of you" she said, a bit more chirpily than before. ___________________
Adam just lightly shrugged, when she inquired about Corey's girlfriend. But he decided to give her an answer anyway, "She kinda asked Him out, from what I understand. I guess she had a crush on him, or something? And then he just decided to give her a shot. He's like that, you know." Rikka's remark surprised Adam a bit; He thought that the two ended on good terms- Or at least that's how Corey told it, then again Corey never held grudges. It wasn't his thing. At the question of how things were going, Adam didn't know how to answer. But luckily for him, Katherina spoke up, "" Adam pushed his hair back using one of his hands. He didn't know exactly what to say, so he just nodded; Confirming what Katherina said. "Yeah, it wasn't very nice of her. ." Adam said just before sipping on his cranberry soda.

The car ride back to campus was silent. Even Lance who is normally very talkative, especially in awkward situations, didn't know what to say. He hoped that Kris would be okay... he hoped her relationship wasn't ruined, he knew how much she liked Corey. Kris had a firm grip on Corey's hand. She started to feel more and more awful about what happened that night. She shouldn't have flown off the deep end without letting Corey explain himself. Maybe she was no good for him, she thought, and held back tears.
Once at campus Lance pulled up to the front he turned to Corey, "Can you walk her to her dorm?" He asked.

Corey was brought back to reality by Kris' brother. Corey only nodded, and then got out of the car- not realizing that he pulled his hand away from Kris', but he remembered his board. While he was standing there with his board in his hands, he remembered the time he took Rikka skateboarding. She didn't seem interested in it, but he appreciated that she at least supported his hobby. Corey stood there, now forgetting what he was supposed to be doing.

Kris took Corey's hand again and began walking towards her dorm. They walked quietly and about half way there Kris broke down in tears again. She dropped his hand and sat at the nearest bench, her face in her hands. She was sobbing.
Corey froze immediately "Oh God, she's doing it again. Oh no. Uhhhhh. . . . . I dunno what to do- what do I do? Oh no!!!" Corey swallowed hard. He was still not used to how emotional Kris was. Whenever Adam saw Katherina cry, Adam would give her a hug and hold her until she stopped crying. Corey wasn't very good at that; Comforting people in general. But he had to try. Corey sat down next to her and he said, "Uhm. . . . Hey, uhm. . . You. . really shouldn't cry. Like. . . . yeah. . . Don't cry. . . Uhm. . ." Corey was sweating from stress. He really didn't know what to do about this. Moments like this, he wish Adam were around. ". . . Man, I wish I hadn't gone out tonight. . ."

"I shouldn't cry?" Kris said through tears, "Yes I should. I was down-right awful. I'm a horrible person, and how I treated you tonight is unforgivable... I know you said it's okay, but it's not... I acted like a fool. A b***h, and a fool... I understand if you want to end it..." She cried harder when she said this, "I'm no good for you."
Corey shook his head at Kris, "No, no I don't wanna end it! Like, it was just a mistake. Y'know?- I'll text you more from now on! Like, We all got our bad days! Adam has had a few! I'd know! Y'know?" Corey didn't know what else to say. He didn't want Kris to think he was breaking up with her. Even if he was, he wouldn't know how to, much less know how to word it. Corey put his hand on Kris' shoulder, and then said "Look, Kris. . . Like. . . I like you. You're kinda cool and stuff. Like. . . We all got our bad days. From now on I'll just text you more. Y'know? It's nothing to worry about now." Corey fixed his glasses. He wasn't sure if she was feeling any better, but he had to keep trying.

Corey gasped and let out a 'woah woah woah!' And put his hands up in a defensive manner, "WOAH! Of course I want you around! I like having you around!- If, like, I've been showing you somethin' different, like, I apologize, Dude!" Corey sighed. He felt like he was only making it worse. He really wasn't any good at this at all. At least with Rikka he didn't have to say a whole lot- it was like 'She just knew', and it was enough. Corey took a breath, then he said, "Look. . . Like, I want you around. I like you. I like you and, like, I want you around- I don't know how to word this stuff, but all I know is what I feel and, like, what I feel for you and stuff. . It's- Ok, Uhm. . ." Corey had to stop a moment, and think about how he had to word this. . . And then he remembered something he heard Adam say. Corey fixed his glasses, and then he said to Kris, ". . . I don't exactly know what to do, here. . Tell me what you want Exactly, because I dunno what I'm really doing. I can't, like,. . . read minds. I don't know what you're expectin' of me, and we can't work this stuff out if you don't tell me. Because before today, I thought you were happy and stuff, and I can't Work on a problem if I dunno what it is, Dude. You gotta help me out, like. . ." Corey cleared his throat and then he said, "Uh. . Help Me. . Like, Help You. . . Y'know?" Corey sat up straight. "I think that's how Adam would put it. . ." He thought, then did a small nod to himself.

She sighed and said, "I'm sorry again, I've been a complete a** hole. You're welcome to sleep in my room if you want... I still don't have a roommate, and you look really exhausted."

Corey didn't know what to say, so because he lacked the words he gave her his beanie right off of his head, and he said ". . . To wipe your tears away with. . ." Then awkwardly shrugged. When Kris apologized Corey shook his head and said 'it was okay' and then at the mention of sleeping in her dorm room, Corey had to stop and think about it. Tonight was pretty exhausting, not to mention Corey had been drinking a lot- something he didn't do too often. Did he really want to be in the same room with an emotional Kris? Skating home wasn't really an option, either. It was a pretty far walk away. But staying with Kris was the safest option, despite what was happening. Corey ruffled his hair a bit, then said "Sure. I'll sleep at your place tonight- I am tuckered out, and stuff." He nodded, and gave her a weak smile.

Kris smiled warmly, and took his hat with a little "Thank you." This was why she liked him so much, he was so sweet, this was why she couldn't lose him. She was glad he wanted to sleep in her room, maybe he would want to cuddle, she took his hand and lead him toward her dorm.

Corey nodded and replied with a 'Sure, sure'. As the two of them walked, he felt his phone vibrate in his front pocket so he took it out and saw it was a text message from Katherina, "You alright?" She was asking, but Corey didn't write back, as bad as he felt about it. He had just managed to get Kris to calm down, and he didn't want to set her off again. So he left it alone for now. Corey took a deep breath, and walked with Kris to her dorm.

Vittoriohad been walking around looking for Rikka, and missed the whole show-down between Kris and Katherina. Vittorio finally gave up on looking for her and decided to head over to the bar. Once there, he ordered a shot of one hundred proof alcohol, and a beer for himself. After taking the shot down, he drank some of his beer and then took a deep breath. Just across the bar, he could see Adam sitting there drinking something with a deep red colour. So Vittorio made his way over with his drink and smiled, "Adam, hey," Adam looked up at Vittorio and let out a 'Hey' and Vittorio, keeping his smile, placed his hand on a bar stool and asked, "Mind if I sit here for a second?" Adam shrugged and then Vittorio sat down. "So, Brozen, you having a good time?" "Sure. It's a little loud here, but nonetheless I'm having a good time." "Good! Very good!- I'm glad!" And now there was an awkward silence. Vittorio didn't talk to Adam much outside of work, and even when they did talk it was never about anything big. And Vittorio felt bad for this, but Adam seemed fine with it so it didn't bother him. Just then Katherina came up and gently tapped her brother on the shoulder, Adam turned around and told him she was going to go home. Adam then said to her that he was going to come with her. Adam turned to Vittorio and said, "I'm gonna go home. See you at work tomorrow." Vittorio laughed and said, "Don't worry about it, alright? You're fine. Sleep in a bit- it's fine." Adam shook his head and pulled out his wallet, he pulled out some money and put it down on the counter. Vittorio was surprised at this; He told people he was buying everyone drinks. Adam didn't have to pay. But he did. . And this weirded Vittorio out a little. Everyone else was taking full advantage of this opportunity, but not Adam. When Adam left, Vittorio could smell the cranberry juice, but no alcohol mixed with it. He found it a little odd- Who goes to a bar and doesn't drink? Vittorio shrugged it off, and continued to drink his beer.

Once back at her dorm Kris pulled out her second set of sheets and began to make up the other bed for Corey. She was feeling a little better now, and glad he was there... maybe he really was okay... maybe he really did forgive her. But now she was worried about his friends. Kris and Kat always got along ok... but there was always weird tension, Kris figured Kat didn't like her much, but now she knew Kat hated her. She either needed to find a way to mend things with Kat, or get Corey to not be around her. The latter, although preferable, was probably not possible and made Kris feel bad for even thinking it. She knew that Kat was going to cause problems, and was not happy that the bi-Kat would probably talk bad about her when Corey hung out with them. The best thing she could do would be the bigger person and not talk bad about Kat, and hope Corey would make the right decision. She finished making the bed, "There you go, is there anything you need?" She asked Corey.

Rikka wrinkled her nose at the thought of somebody slapping corey. Why anybody would need to slap Corey, of all people, was beyond her. It had been a little while since Rikka had hung out with corey, she was not avoiding him even though she broke it off to see what else was out there romantically for her, but they just did not hang out as much anymore. "Hmm, I think I will text him a little later to see if he is ok, not like we are not friends still, after all" She said aloud. She looked over at the stage, fearing an impending awkward silence and noticing that the headliner had not appeared yet, she turned back to the group. "So hey! we partying or what? what are you guys drinking? my crew drinks for free, what do ya say?" she said with a perky smile, completely destroying the rockstar-Diva persona she attempted to cultivate on stage. ___________________
